Crios is a world full of high mountains, blueish trees, barrens filled with crystals and red deserts. For about a thousand years the people of Crios have been using glowing crystals to make their life easier and augment items. They used the crystals to ignite wood or to give a weapon special powers. For about 40 years now they began using machines that use the power of the glowing crystals. Their lighting is created with glowing crystals, their slow vehicle are powered by them and the people use them for other purposes too. But now the existence of Crios is endangered. A group of militants led by General Korkos Orsai is seeking to sap the power of the legendary giant crystal and the destroy it to create a new world. A group of adventurers is now out to stop them after they got wind of the militants plan. Each of the adventurers has their own goal, some want to protect the giant crystal while others want to use it but all of them want to prevent the destruction of the world.

Races:

Humans: Humans are the main race in Crios and are the majority of the intelligent beings in Crios. They live in villages and towns with other races. The most of them live in the mountains and the forests. Humans are good mechanics and are often good with war machinery such as tanks. Though military presence is rare and the army is small due to lack of war.

Lizard people: Lizard people are a large minority in Crios. They live in warm forest areas, the crystal barrens and the red deserts. They have green or blue scaled skin. They are often up to 7 feet tall and have claws. Lizard people live in stone huts and are good combatants with rifles.

Nekos: Nekos are humans with cat like ears and tails. They have lived with the humans as long as they can remember. They are fast runners and make good scouts in combat.

Chaos: The chaos are people who came in contact with chaos crystals. The chaos crystals change the interior of their body to machinery. They still think, act, appear and feel like humans but they are different. They can transform into a mechanical form. The strength of the form depends on the crystals they are augmented with. They collect crystals as "upgrades". Their form changes with each upgrade but the basic structure stays the same. The chaos are rare in Crios since chaos crystal are rare. They all has the primary goal to protect the giant crystal because they see it as their creator. The chaos arent very well accepted among normal races but the normal people accept them to an extent because they know that the chaos arent bad people. Chaos have red or silver eye colors.

Areas:

High mountains: The high mountains are sparsely inhabited and are home to crystal mines. They are often decorated with trees and shrubs. Major towns are Highrock and Hillstone.

Blue forests: The blue forests are filled with small towns, villages and blue trees that glow at night. The area is fairly flat with only a couple hills. Major towns are Lightsong and Crystal city.

Crystal barrens: The crystal barrens are a plain area filled with crystal formations. The barrens only have two cities and many outlaws. This is the place where the giant crystal is supposed to be. Cities are Glowdon and Berrin.

Red desert: This is the main area where lizard people live. It is full of red dunes and large cities. There are barely resources here. Major cities are Blue Oasis and Maridin.

Crystals:

Lesser crystals: Lesser crystals are used for house appliances, lighting and weak weapons. Cheap enough for a poor person to buy one.

Blue crystals: Blue crystals are used for small vehicles, rifles, etc.

Red crystals: Red crystals are used for tanks and large machinery.

Chaos crystals: Chaos crystal cannot come in contact with intelligent beings. If they do, the crystal with be absorbed by the being and will cause horrible pain for the next day. The horrible pain comes from changing into a chaos. After the transformation the crystal will be a part of the person. No uses are known for normal humans.
