Introduction

St. Martin's Psychiatric Hospital:
The hospital's earliest history involved a great deal of death and terrible human suffering. Originally named "St. Martin's Psychiatric Hospital," this giant structure was constructed from 1908 through July 26, 1910. As tuberculosis, a serious bacterial lung infection, reached epidemic proportions in 1924, the overcrowded structure was expanded into a 400 patient sanatorium. The only known treatment at the time was fresh air, nutritious food and
plenty of rest. Patients were placed just outside their rooms in front of giant screened windows or open porches, even during winter. Experimental treatments also took place including exposing patient's lungs to ultraviolet light, surgically implanting balloons and removing ribs and chest muscles. Most patients died during such "last-resort" procedures. There was also a famous "body chute", through which the dead would travel down on a motorized rail and cable system to the waiting vehicle. The purpose of the "chute" was to protect the mental well-being of living patients.
Dr. William Smith re-opens the hospital for mentally ill or depressed teenagers. Dr. William Smith is known to be a loyal, compassionate scientist.
However, the teenagers notice that Dr. William Smith is attracted to the female patients and also has a strange and twisted behavior. The teenagers soon realize Dr. William Smith is in-fact a mad scientist who is intending on experimenting on his patients.

Bio: Raine Beckham comes from a poor farmer family with four annoying sisters, he finds no haven at school where he's teased by everyone. The only thing Raine has is running; after training all summer for the big race on the school athletic day, he and every other boy racing are beat by new girl Skye Burke. Like Raine, Skye is teased by her fellow students, but unlike Raine she doesn't let it bother her. After a rocky start, they find common ground and together create the imaginary world as a haven from their struggles at school and at home. Skye teaches Raine to open his mind to every possibility and leave reality behind. The next morning, Ms. Wilson, Raine's music teacher, calls to invite him on a one-on-one field trip to an art museum. Jess tries to ask his mother's permission; however, she is half-asleep and he takes her mumbling as approval. Raine does not ask Skye to accompany him, and merely looks at her house as they drive by. When he returns home, Raine finds that his father and mother are worried sick because they did not know where he was. His father tells him that Skye drowned in the river that morning when Raine went to the museum. Raine is deeply grieved, and visits the Burke family home with his parents to pay their respects. Skye's father, Kyle Burke, tells Raine that she loved him, and thanks him for being a very good friend to her, since she had trouble making friends at her old school. Raine feels overwhelming guilt for Skye's death, but his father consoles him to keep their friendship alive for her sake. Raine decides to re-imagine Skye and is convinced she is still alive and with him.

OOC Notes
I messed the first one up.
OOC Notes
Ali shuffled in his seat tucking his legs underneath him and wrapping his free arm around his stomach. Looking back out of the window he stared at the shadows of the tress that were being cast on the grass, they moved in all direction caused by the wind unless something else was pushing them. He inclined his head to the side taking his hand out of his mouth for the breifest of moment looking to his left he mumbled "it's just the wind nothing else" he spoke quietly trying to console the voice in his head that was trying to make Ali believe that something bigger and stronger was shaking the trees.
OOC Notes
"You wanna go outside?" she asked. "I wouldn't... it's wet and disgusting out there... Filthy. You'll get all sorts of diseases and grime on you."
Her hands twitched. One reached up, trailing down her cheek as she rocked, scratching the skin with her nail.
"I used to go outside... Not anymore. You shouldn't put your hand in your mouth. It's nasty, horribly disgusting. Especially when those nurses shove their hands on your mouth to make you swallow scum-covered medicine, or shoot you up with filthy needles."
She let out a soft cry of horrow at her words, closing her eyes and rocking faster. Her finger started to scratch an opening in her skin. Blood started to appear in bubbling drops and slowly roll down her face.
OOC Notes
She then explained about his hand eing covered in germs and that the nurses gave filthy medicene and injections. But Ali knew that everything was sterile and clean. " I don't...don't want to...erm.." He paused lightly tapping his head to find the word "go" he added after a few seconds of thinking. Sometimes Ali found it hard to find the correct words. He looked over to her seeing that she was bleeding he made a strange whimpering noise and turned into the corner of his chair looking out at the window "your...your..bleeding" he added putting his hand back into his mouth watching a bird prod around on the grass.
OOC Notes
He was sitting behind the chair they had led him to. His eyes were closed, his hands in his hair. No matter how much he objected, no matter how much he struggled they would eventually bring him here. He remembered every word the others had spoken in his presence. Most of it was nonsense. They occasionally freaked out. He remembered every single incident like it was happening in front of his eyes right now.
His eyes were closed but he saw the girl bleeding in his mind's eye. He had seen it before. Alda is what they called her. Once they had used her last name as well; Minack. He opened his eyes and noticed he was sitting crouched behind the chair. Had he not been sitting in the chair? He couldn't remember crawling behind it.
He looked at his feet. He had his socks on but not his shoes. This was 865th time he had forgotten to put on his shoe. He wriggled his toes like he had done 211 times of those 865. He closed his eyes again. Where were his shoes?
"Raindrops. So many raindrops. 1,2,3,4…there are always more." He quietly muttered.
OOC Notes
"Filthy, filthy. It's not clean. Disgusting..."
She soon was preoccupied by the blood on her cheek. She grabbed more, rubbing the blood off.
"Not clean... I'm not clean! This entire place isn't clean! Gotta clean it..."
She took more tissues in her hand and got out of her chair. Getting on her hands and knees, she desperately started scrubbing at the floor, crying and shaking.

Kes dragged her feet as she walked into the living area. Her arms crossed protectively across her chest, she picked at the little round band-aid on her upper arm with a chipped fingernail. They said it was meds. They said it would make her better. But she knew better than to believe that.
Viruses. Worms. Maybe a CSRF attack. All kinds of suboutines to mess with her programming. Nanos.
Usually, she could get out of it. She could pretend to swallow the pill and then throw it down the drain when she was alone. But today, they decided to try a new medication on her, that was injected directly into her wiring.
Shuffleshuffleshuffle.
She came to a halt on the other side of the room, pulling up a seat about 3.2 meters away from the window and carbon-based subject Ali. I'm surprised my hinges haven't started to creak, yet, after all this time in here, she thought to herself as she sat down. Wait.....hinjes? The Hell am I talking about?
As the medicine started to kick in, she gradually lost track of her self-identity, her analytical nature, which she referred to as a subroutine, shutting down. Was that the mechanical whir of a shutdown sequence she heard? Or was it just--
"Hahaha!" she burst out giggling. She couldn't remember the last time the room looked so...colorful.
"Hi guys," she drawled, greeting the fellow patients. "Did I hear someone say 'outside'?"
FATAL ERROR, a message flashed before her eyes. Outdoor environment lacks sufficient interfacing hardware. She ignored it, though--by this point, she was just too mellow to care about her programming.
Wait. Programming?
Too mellow to be wary of carbon-based life-forms.
Huh?
Maybe in a matter of minutes, she'd emerge at the surface of reality, a normal teenager for a couple of hours.
Normal. But would it really be Kes?
Who cared?

The Russian sat in the largest chair the room housed, a plastic wrapped arm chair with a gaudy pattern and smelled like cleaning products. He hated the smell of sterilized anything, and much preferred earthy smells like black soil and the soothing smell of pine that always lingered on his parents. He leaned back in the chair, watching one of the girls scrub the floor with tissues like an idiot while a sick looking Italian huddled behind a chair watching his toes while yet another freaky girl with pink hair began to babble and yet another kid sat staring out of the window with a haunted look. Antisocial personality disorder didn’t make him have outbursts or act crazy or anything like that, he just had to be monitored at all times. He didn’t have a conscious, and he couldn’t grasp how his actions affected other people. So if situation arose where he’d have to react to another person, especially a situation that could turn violent or otherwise sour, he’d react in a selfish way without any regard for the people around him. He was mildly offended that he was put into a place with people like the ones around him, and was considered in a similar category to them, but he got over it. Some of the girls were attractive and a few of them might be willing to sneak off with him like the girls in the previous hospital. Hell, some of them might not even care if they left the room. He chuckled lowly and got out of the chair.
He got down on the floor, which was covered in scum and dirt according to the crazy girl on the floor, and began to do push-ups, being mildly concerned about losing some of his muscle mass. He watched the other patients with a look similar to what a wolf would give to prey it was too lazy to go after at the moment. He continued his push-ups, counting off in his head. Let the crazies do as they pleased, he’d prefer to keep to himself anyway.

"Well, hello! We have a mix-up! They'll take anyone and shove 'em where they can't do any harm these days! Ha-haaa!" Came this chipper, English accent. The arm begins to move Helena away from the press-ups to the rest of the room.
"You know how they say that the first bite is with the eyes? It couldn't be more true! The starter of walking through the same five corridors that they just move around you before the Main Course of this room." Another hand from out the end of the other purple sleeve swept across the room. "Entertainment prospects: Almost none but soooo worth it! There's talking but what about?" Then, the two hands made mouth shapes in front of her face.
"Day one!"
"I found a Moth!" said one hand with a squeaky tone.
"Wow cool!" said the other in the same register.
"Day two!"
"The Moth is dead."
"Oh. OK then."
"Day three!"
"I ate the Moth!" The hands lowered as the girl moves in front of her, staring into her eyes. The scared corners of her mouth camouflaged well with the red around her lips. The porcelain face with the ruined black eye-shadow plus the dark-green hair. Guess who! No, but close.
"Get what I mean? If it was this or prison? Well, at least in prison you can meet interesting people, pick up new tricks or check if your a lesbian or not." She said, with a kind of misty grin on her face. "But if I went to prison, I'd never discover my funnest game!" Her grin widened but the eyes seemed to look through rather than at anything. She span with a brief stumble on the high heels before the eyes framed in splattered soot fell on Alda.
"Who's for 'Lick-The-Germ-Freak!'" The grin seemed to get wider still.
OOC Notes
"Searching database..." she muttered to herself. That's when she realized these new nanos weren't all they were cut out to be. Sure, they put her in a fuzzy daze, but if she really tried, she could overcome it.
Bah. The old memories were too hazy to resurface. But whatever. She would figure it out once the "medication" wore off. For now, there would only be downhill. She'd be trapped in an infinite loop for the next few hours...but no...she had to fight...
"Processing..." she murmured inaudibly as she watched the made-up villain girl's antics. "Processing." She put all of her focus into taking in the colors of the lunatic's getup.
Ooooh....such pretty colors...
Snap out of it, Kes 2.0! Values. Give me the RGB values of--
"Who's for Lick the Germ Freak!" the villain-girl suggested, and Kes burst out laughing again.
"What a fascinating game!" she blurted happily to no one in particular.
OOC Notes
"Yes, yes, yes. Back into normal world with us crazies while Bill Gates' Bitch powers down? Well, we'll have to play until she comes back online, won't we!" The cackle that issued from the carved smile shook her shoulders as heels clacked across the floor until to Alda's side. As the cackle, like all symphonies, came to an end she began to draw spit. The deliberately loud noise of a dentist's draining tool dragged on for far too long before she spat the clear globule onto the floor. The eyes fell on Alda again. Extreme anticipation with an appropriate grin.
OOC Notes
she began drawing, getting more and more detailed, grinning when she was satisfied. she kissed the picture, a few shavings of green crayon appearing on her face as she pulled back the paper. her eyes swept to the dreariness outside, but she continued to smile. she liked the rain, and would later ask if she might be alloud to spend the night outside.
OOC Notes
"You spit on the floor!" she shouted to the girl. "I was cleaning it and you spit on it!"
She started sobbing, grabbing the tissue boxs and ripping out five of them. She wiped the spit away. Her knuckles scrapped across the floor as she scrubbed furiously. The skin started to turn red as it was rubbed raw. She didn't notice, only scrubbing harder and grabbing more tissues. The box was nearly empty now.
"Y-You unclean, filthy little... so dirty... why, why?!" She looked up at the girl, her eyes red and puffy from crying. "Why...?"

He bit down on his hand again as his other hand tugged on his hairm grabing a good handful of strands, tugging on it he grumbled lightly before pulling his hand out of his mouth he looked into his left shoulder "yeah, theres a lot of people but therye fine...Five..no Six...including me...yeah but theyre not that bad...no i wont do that....shh..you dig the grave from where you stand...shush" Ali mumbled quietly shaking his head lightly as his spoke. Tapping his head three times he bit down on his hand again returning his gaze to the window.

They have no idea whats coming for them..
Raine walked slowly to the young girl who was scrubbing the floor repeatedly. Raine sat on the floor next to her "The sooner you stop cleaning is the sooner they will let you go" he muttered.
OOC Notes
Perhaps he could speak to Dr.Williams when he came on his rounds to see the paitients. Tapping his head he watch Raine and the girl " no...it's safe here..somethings are strange but...what do you mean by that?...shush" He converesed with the voice in his head looking at the clock he nodded quickly "doctors making rounds..."

"Far, FAR too much time!" She completed the quiet sentence. "I already know what I'll need to keep cheery." Her arm wrapped around Raine's shoulders and watched the boy talk and noding enthusiastically when Raine asked wether his name was Ali
"Yeah..yeah i'm Ali..." When Raine mentioned about him making his voices go away he titled his head in confusion "How do you...." His voice trailed of as he thought someone call him "...make your voices..go away.. is it medicene?" he asked turning to face Raine.
"No!" She slid in, "Summoning squirrels to that they can chase them off helps. Make sure their red though because their less antisocial than the grey bastards." A grin with a little eyelash flutter.

I know it won't but still, funny to think of the hospital suddenly being swarmed by Pyramid Head and an army of faceless nurses. Then everyone goes even crazier... or feels right at home.
