Introduction

READ RULES FIRST

In the land of Arin, with the form of a stable goverment, peace has begun to develope as technology finally begins to advance to a level that was never thought possible now. With the leadership of Ruler Sen, things are stable and the people are seeing an era of peace upon them. But that all changed when a changing event occurd.

Magins, people that develop powers connected to their personality and imagination, begin to appear all over. At first, it wasn't taken likely, just having officials watching these few people to make sure they don't abuse their new powers. But then, the number of people awakening to these powers increased more and more, making the people worry. As a means to calm the people down, the goverment rounded up the Magins, placing them in issolated regions, away from the normal people. But in doing that, they seperate the Magins from their friends and family, causing some of them to go into dispair. Their powers lost control because of this, transforming into beasts. The transformed Magins went on a rampage, becoming like animals as they brought chaos, making things worse. Slowly, towns and city fell, becoming wildernesses as the Beast Magins took it. Now all of Arin has been shrunken down to a few major cities and the main capital of Core City.

Magins still begin to appear among the normal people, bringing fear among them. Even worse is that people don't know what started the appearances of the Magins. So, the goverment placed a law that labled all Magins as a threat, being a target to be killed on sight for the protection of everyone else. Many Magins hide who they are to keep their lives, but some openly admit it, fighting for their rights. But deep behind all the peace talks in the goverment, the scret of the Magins is kept hidden. Will the Magins discover this secret and free themselves from this hunt?

Setting

The world is highly advanced in technology, from plasma guns, holograms, and hover vehicals traveling high speed tracks, but outside the city is wilderness, filled with the Magins that turned into beasts, to that of a fantasy level. The cities all have walls and barriers blocking the outside to protect the citizens from the threat of the Beast Magins outside. Apart from that threat, life is normal in the city, with the few appearances of Magins here and there.

Info

Magin- Magins are humans that develop powers with a "theme" that relate to their personality and imagination. The awakening of these powers occurs when the person goes through any form of heavily emotional event in their lives, turning deep within them for freedom. On some occasions, the human goes through slight changes in appearance when they awaken aswell. This power lets them do almost anything under that certain "theme". The basic things they can do is creating a tool of weapon from that "theme" of theirs. Also, deep down even if they haven't unlocked it yet, they have a beast form. That form mainly reveals itself when they begin to lose their control due to either emotional or stressfull events. To return to normal, they have to be calmed down, even if they rampage. If not, they remain a beast and join the wild kind outside the cities, if not killed by the goverment.

Night time at Core City was a moment of peace the booming city had. For those that don't feel comfortble in the noisy and fast day time, they walked around at this time. Sikes Renker was just one of those people as he walked down the side of the now calmed down speedway, hands in his pockets as his black scarf swayed behind him as he moved.

He didn't bother to hide his eyes or anything, since the night helped to do so. But that was no where near his concern right now. Arriving at a bridge for a speed hover train, he looked at a piece of paper he had to make sure this was the right one. He had gotten some information that an offical cargo train was transporting some captured Magins, and he had plans to stop that transportation. Looking around to make sure the roads and sidewalks were cleared, he swung his arm at a light post above the tracks, sending off a dark strand with claws in the end as it latches onto the pole and pulls him up. Landing onto the tracks as the strand fades away, he looks in both directions, seeing where the train would come from.

Nate lay sleeping underneath the hover train's bridge, snuggled up inside his dark green hoodie. The petite boy's hair swayed across his face as the wind caressed it. A few strands ruffled across his closed eyes. They eyes of a Magin. As he slept, leaned against one of the overpasses concrete pillars, he mumbled a few words to himself; something about construction sites and ham sandwiches.

He was never planning on falling asleep there. It wasn’t the best place to relax after all, considering the train would soon pass by and cause a lot of racket. But he couldn’t help it. As soon as he settled down to rest, after a long day working for low pay at the building site of a new apartment complex in the Core City, he found himself being taken away to his dreamland. It was a land filled with the happiness he had left behind. The happiness he had with the family who betrayed his previous self. The self he had abandoned.

His eyes snapped open, revealing his light red irises, as a swooping noise startled him. He leaned up, rubbing his curled up hands across his eyes. He came to his senses just in time to see a dark figure dangling from the overpass, held up by something like a shadow, before swinging itself up onto it. Nate blinked a few times, wondering if he was dreaming. But, he learned never to be surprised by the unexpected when living in the Core City, especially since the Magins, like himself, had made their appearance.

Still half asleep, he rushed over to the other side of the embankment that led to the train’s overpass and stumbled up it, not moving his eyes from the figure that was now standing on top of the bridge. Could this be a Magin too? He wondered, his wide eyes staring curiously.

From the shadows of the night, a young woman watched a scene unfold across the street. She was the only one there, for it was too late & everyone else was asleep. Except for a woman in her mid-thirties. She was being carried away on a modernized stretcher & towards a white-colored vehicle. From the color, one could tell that it was an ambulance, for that custom never truly changed.

The soon-to-be-hospitalized woman was calm, but she wasn't asleep. It was evident that an accident had happened or that she simply wanted to be taken away. Her pale face stared up at the starry sky for a moment & then she let her head slide to the side in comfort. That was when her gaze landed on the young woman across the street. She didn't need to look at her for more than three seconds; she instantly knew who it was. That long, silky hair, those unusually colored eyes, that white dress that flowed with the chilly wind. She'd seen all of that before, but only when her mind drifted into yet another nightmare. She'd had those for a month already & there was no way she could ever forget what she'd seen.

At that instant, the woman went out of control. She screamed & wailed as she kicked at the nurses. Then, when she realized that they were her way out, she grabbed onto their shirts & pulled as hard as she could, tipping them over. Of course, that wasn't what she wanted, so she cursed, jumped off of the stretcher & attempted to jump into the back of the ambulance. Then, she proceeded to yell at the top of her lungs, telling the workers to take her. She didn't want to live in that house anymore, she wanted out & finally, she said that she wanted to die.

Unlike a psychopath, Anemone didn't smile with joy; she didn't get high from what she was witnessing. However, for justice to come forth, she needed to punish those people. It was for her mother's reputation. Before she'd lost control, people, especially that woman, had spoken ill of her mother. Although, she'd raised it to a whole new level by spreading false words that lead people to believe Anemone's mother had been murdered by her lover. They said that she'd beed the mistress of someone else & that got her killed when things went a little too far, but they'd only gone that far because she "liked it that way". That woman had labeled her warm-hearted mother as a whore simply because of jealousy. So she deserved what she'd gotten, if not more.

Anemone, walked away once the noise of shutting doors traveled to her ears. She didn't know where she was headed, but she hoped that she would encounter something interesting… or an open shop filled with sweets. It was only during night times that she was able to venture into the city, for no one could recognize her & no one would ask.

Suddenly, the thought of sweets reminded her of something. She needed to buy food for later. Considering that she still got hungry & was still human, although barely, she needed to eat. So, she turned & took a shortcut towards a mini market that was always open, even if no one went it so late. It was her favorite place to shop since there was a young man in there that knew what she was. Anemone hadn't told him, but he'd figured it out. In turn, he understood her & let her get whatever she wanted without having to pay--not that she had any money to give.

After abit of waiting, Sikes finally saw it. Down the long tracks was the lights of a speed train heading for him. "Alittle late then what I heard, but no worries." Placing his palms together, he suddenly made the same dark matter the strand from before take the form of a black blade in his hand. Taking his stance on the tracks, it was clear he was aparently trying to take the train on somehow. "Alright then, let's get started." The train kept going, speeding toward him as the lights grew brighter as Sikes suddenly charged at it with the black blade in hand.

At the last moment, he leeped, avoiding the high speed train as he then jabbed his blade downward at it, extending the blade down through the front engine. The black blade pierced through down under the bridge as he forced it down to make sure it went through. As the train was forced to slow down, the blade scraped down below as it then reached the end of the underpass, bringing it to a halt. Letting out a loud sigh of relief, Sikes stood up, the extended blade fading from his hands and from the torn engine as the damaged train let out sparks and smoke from the damage. "Well, step one complete." In saying that, the 2 other carts that were behind the engine open up, releasing armed officials as they all ready their rifles at him. "Now for step two.", he then mumbles.

"Did he take out the train?!"
"It's a Magin, watch out!"
"Don't let him get away!"

They all yell out as they bring in more guns at him. "Hmmm...they sure had some security for this transporter." Giving off a little smirk, he dashes for the officials as they open fire. As they fired, small black walls began to form around Sikes, stoping them from hitting him as he reached up at the armed men, starting to fight them. Knocking out afew with some direct hits in their chests and heads, he grabs the body of one and flings it at another group, knocking them down. A group to his side tries to get him with a wave of shots, but, Sikes leeps back onto the carts, having made it past the forces to the other side. "Stuborn group, aren't you? hehe"

"What exactly is he trying to do?" Nate mumbled to himself, as he watched the boy on the bridge challenge the oncoming train. Just like that the boy showed his true colors, stopping the train dead on the tracks with the simple stab of his blade, which extended downwards to the underbelly of the bridge. Before Nate really had time to react, he watched as a swarm of dressed officials swarmed out of one of the train's compartments. That was odd. Why would there be so many officials on one train. Curiously, Nate closed his eyes, invisioning the train itself. Yes, like most moden hover trains it had been equiped with a security monitoring system, cameras were stringed through it to monitors being watch in a certain compartment of it. Concentrating even more on those camera's, Nate soon found himself flickering through all the compartments on the train, or at least every one of them that had a camera installed in it. Finally, his eyes settled on what he was looking for. There was a cargo hold. In the cargo hold there were rows of scared and confused looking people. Some of them had the same odd colored eyes as Nate himself. He knew what they were. They were Magins. When he opened his eyes again, he was still standing there on the other side of the bridge, he never really left after all.

When all of the attention was directed on the Magin that could control shadows, Nate quietly stalked up to the train, hiding behind some carts as he did so. If only he could find the door that led to the cargo hold, he could mentally hack into the system which controlled it and open it up himself. As he was searching, he heard shots being fired from the other side of the train. He peeked around the corner of the two carts he was hiding between. A little ways down, the other Magin was jumping over the train, avoiding the bullets being fired at him skillfully as he did so. Nate thought for a moment. Although his help wasn't asked for, he might as well do a little. Since he was there, it now had to do with him after all. He channeled all of his energy into the rifles that three of the officials were holding, getting a feel of their makeup as he did so. And then, like scrambled eggs, he completely jumbled those rifles over, messing up their insides and controls to the point where they would no long function properly. That should help. He thought, a stoic look on his face. He went back to searching the carts, trying to find the cargo hold.

Axel sat in the train, how the hell had he gotten himself into this situation? The affect of the drugs used to keep them under control was starting to wear off which meant needles rounds were soon to start again. Guess this is what you get for screwing around in public places too much. "Could we at least get some decent music in here damnit!?" The butt of a rifle smashed hard against his head. Axel growled and mutter some rather obscene terms under his breath. He wasn't sure if they had heard or just felt like it but the rifle smashed against his head again. "Stay quiet kid!" The loud clatter of the train was the only noise Axel could hear above the ringing in his head. He tried to conjure the illusion of an explosion but nothing happened. Again he swore under his breath.

Then something finally did happen, the train started to slow down and the guards panicked. Axel forced himself to his feet and charged the nearest guard, tackling him from behind. Axel's hands were chained behind his back but a nice swift kick to the head seemed to work just fine. Another guard turned on his but it was too late. Every prisoner in the train car rioted. The drugs seemed to finally disappear from his mind. That's all he needed. The guards began writhing in pain on the ground. "Muhahahahaha! Taste the power of the Magin! Fear us!" The over dramatic display was mainly in hopes that after the illusion ended the guards would stay down anyways. Axel stole the card key from one of the guards and released his braces. He then began releasing the other prisoners from their ties.

Gleisner felt his apartment walls physically shuddered when the train arrived. It always arrives, and always at night. The sound of air giving way to matter always making it's presence known. It was loud, even though it's inventor had claim it was a 'silent' train. Technology moved fast, but somehow not fast enough to cover physicality. A stroke of luck too, because otherwise this apartment would have cost him a lot more.

Allen reached for the curtains, about to let them loose over the window. He wasn't fond of moon-watching. He wasn't fond of the thought that people in the block opposite his could easily look over and see both him and house. Then he froze. The train was blaring it's horn, warning something. Trailing his eyes along the tracks, he could see what they were warning. Someone was crouching on it - a shadow Allen couldn't see - and the train was running at maximum speed at him.

Allen smiled. He put one hand down and Angora took it as a welcome, climbing into his crossed arms. He looked down at the figure in impartiality. Either the boy was very very stupid, or he was confident he could get out of it. There was only one kind of person confident he could get out of the way of a sonic train, speeding at 400 km/h.

Train nearing now. Allen squinted harder. Air itself screamed, and then the figure leaped. He passed into the streetlight's influence - and Allen saw that it was a boy - a kid even - and then he slammed onto the surface of the train. One hand raised, blade in hand. Allen watched as the kid hijacked the train. There were two guards patrolling on the roof - attached by gravity boots - but they were far away from the head of the train. Allen could barely see their silhouettes. The next guards he could see clearer though, as the train screeched to a halt. The alarm inside was dancing red, it's mechanical voice loud and wanting help. The guards from the second carriage didn't hesitate, priming guns at the boy.

What a world, Allen thought. We're shooting at kids now.
But then the boy deflected the bullets like child's play, and he rethought that. Oh right -- Magins. In no regulation does it ever say that they're human. Shooting them is no different than shooting empty cans.

He watched a little longer, then with a click of his tongue, Allen pulled the curtains back. He stroked Angora, who purred.

"Come on, Angora," He purred back. "Work tomorrow at nine, and Magins don't concern us, mm?" Allen took one last glance at the window. The curtains fluttered, as though trying to move themselves out of the way and force him to see it's conclusion.

Allen looked back at Angora. "After all, we're not Magins."

His smile was completely satisfied.

Sikes prepeared to guard against some fires that were aimed at him, when suddenly the rifles didn't fire for some reason. Confused for a moment, he then just took this opening as he slammed his hand onto the cart under him, sending a strand of his shadow toward each of the officials through the ground. The one left with working rifles tried to fire at the incoming shadow, but only hit the ground as the strands made contact with each of their shadows. The second they did, blades sprung out of the official's shadows, stabbing into them as they all fell to the ground once the dark blades vanished. "Step two done."

Turning around, he walked over to the very front of the cart as he swung his arm at it's wall, a sudden moment of the shadowed strand forming to slice a hole open as he stepped on inside. As expected, more armed men were inside, guns ready as they all fired. He easily placed several walls out of his shadow to block the shots, but then one man from behind the group came up with a rocket, aiming at him. "Shit!" Sikes blurted out as the rocket launched at him. It exploded in contact at the hole he was standing on as smoke clouded that part of the cart. A moment of silence came, until dark objects suddenly flung toward them striking down several officials, making the rest start firing again. Dashing out of the smoke, another man readied a second rocket as he aimed at Sikes. As his small walls blocked the shots, he grabbedone of the walls as it shifted into a small knife, flinging it at the rocket. Stabbing into it before they could fire, it exploded in the middle of the crowd as he leeped over the remaining flames to work his way to the next cart over.

Nate ran past all the carts, touching them as he went, trying to get a view inside each of them through the security cameras. Finally he approached one that seemed promising. From the outside, he could hear shouting and clanking coming from within. He touched the cart and pressed his face against the cold metal of its wall. Inside, the guards were hunkered down on the ground, shivering in fear of something, as a young boy ran about the detained Magins, freeing their locks with a key card of some sort. That boy needed to hurry though, it seemed like whatever was scaring the guards was starting to wear off, or they were starting to catch on.

Nate pressed her... I mean his... hands against the sliding doors frame, focusing on the control panel that activated it. Through his mind, a series of numbers circulated, the ones that he needed, the ones to the keypad, stood out from the rest. 2015839. Nate thought, as he programed the machine to read them like so. Then, with a swoosh, the door opened, revealing the riot within. Nate stood there frozen for a second, a few of the Magins that had already been freed were rushing out. As one bumped into him it brought his attention back.

"Stop, stop," he held his hands out to them. "There are still guards out there. Someone's taking care of them as we speak... but you can't all go rushing out at once!"

The once that he was able to catch blinked at him for a few moments, before letting out heavy sighs. He heard one of them complaining, but he ignored it and headed over to where the other boy was, still freeing those that were trapped.

"Let me help you out," he said, and went to the Magin next to the boy, the one who's lock he'd have to work on next, and touched the Magin's restrains. After a few moments, the lock clicked open. Luckily Nate practically had his own key card built in. "With the two of us we should release everyone in no time." He grinned, but still looked behind him in fear. There was a lot of noise going on at the other end of the train. They didn't have much time before the officials would realize what was going on in the cargo hold. He just hoped that whoever that other Magin was, the one controlling the shadows, would take care of them before they were able to reach it.

Another explosion burst through second cart of the speed train, the effect of another "failed" attempt with the rockets. On entering the second cart, once again armed men were waiting for him. But this time it was abit different, since he caught the sight off a group of 5 officials heading toward the next cart ahead of him. Once they left, the main group opened fired, using automatics now, making it abit difficult to block now. "Dang it, they're gear up now." He says to himself as he crosses his arms infront of himself to make the dark walls grow to block the wave of shots. Even worse was the fact that the officials going ahead of him must be heading for the "cargo". "I don't have much time to waste!"

Making a break for it as he zig zags to avoid the shots, he manages to block the lethal shots from hitting, having afew scrap across his shoulders and sides. Once he got close enough, the a strange mist like shadow formed between them as Sikes leaned his arm back and lunged it into the shadow. In almost a burst, his arm passed through the shadow in the form of a massive clawed arm, almost bursting the force apart as they flung into the sides with the arm thrusting through the group. Grabing one of them in the middle, he swings him into the remaining in the back. Finally tossing him into the back wall, he makes his way toward the doorway.

As he made his way toward the next cart, Sikes failed to see a blinking light that one of the officials was holding. The light of a distress signal being activated.

"They never fail to entertain me... the guards that is..."

Aiza sighed loudly, being an idiot or an ignorant... those were the only ones that attacked a Magin head to head. Actually it seemed that the government never learned that lesson, the proof was outside the city: all the towns that the government lost as time passed, now in hand of the Magins and some humans that survived the hell, called "lost" as it was the only way the government was able to hide it´s biggest failure before it was well-known.

Thinking it seriously it was amazing how the things changed all based in lies, when she was young the scrap gathering was a good job, now called as gathering the paid was huge all for a simple reason: Magin and humans with the desire to "apply" justice with their own hands traveled the city looking for things, nowadays anyone could find parts of destroyed weapons, as the fights inside the city were more and more common however the risk was high as some consider easy to attack to a gatherer at the end of the day before they sold the things. All of this happened under the "projects" excuse.

Today was one of those days in which Aiza was able to collect enough to reconstruct an engine or maybe a cooling system, when she heard the sound of a battle, for her the decision was obvious... the more the better besides it could be a good opportunity to see something interesting, now that could be dangerous but few were that crazy to attack someone who carried in their back blade guns that were as long as tall was the holder.

Now she was in the ceiling of a building near the bridge, carrying a bag full of pieces in one hand, a nice place to see how the train attacked by a boy in the front and how another moved in other place while the guards attacked the first one, indeed a good move that way they had more probabilities of succeeding before their... "other side" claimed them.

"I give them five minutes more..." Aiza scratched the back of her neck lazily as she watched how a guard activated a signal light, knowing the guards rules they would go happy-trigger mode before more squads arrived to cover them and everyone in the place would be destroyed... "NOT."

She grabbed one of the blade guns of her back and aimed to the guard, while usually she was more discrete; this kind of situations were the reason Aiza hated the government, as she also traveled in one of those train... the day her life turned into a nightmare...
She shook her head slowly and then smiled as she aimed carefully and fired a small amount of plasma directly to the light instead of the soldier, that would be very effective besides of being a surprise shot no one could resist a small explosion without passing out, "thanks" to technology the effect was the same as receiving a direct hit.

The girl only widen her smile as she saw how the soldier saw the shot going directly to him but still was unable to do anything before the plasma hit and the light, and the soldier, went out of sight in a small cloud of dust and energy.

The pretty girl with long, silky hair stood before a closed minimart. She stood there & stared at the reflection she saw through the dark windows. It was surprising to find out that it was closed after so many years of constant twenty-four/seven business. In turn, she couldn't help but wonder what had happened. Had something gone wrong? Had the owner fallen ill? So many questions went through her mind, but the one she chose was that they were simply taking a break. Anemone was a positive person. She had always been a positive person.

Anemone glanced at her reflection once more before walking off. She was glad to notice that her brightly colored eyes had dimmed into a gentle pink. The only way she could tell was because she didn't see the glow. Her eyes always changed color when her powers were at work of it she was remembering the hurtful past, like she had a few moments ago. She walked down the street with peaceful strides, her mind not really thinking about anything at all. That is, until she spotted an open pastry shop. Instantly, she practically skipped inside, asked for a yummy treat & walked out. She was certainly lucky that time, since the worker had been a male & her looks had gotten her out of paying.

The young Magin hummed happily after getting a taste of her treat, it had her taste buds jumping with joy. A sudden gust of wind blew her hair towards her face, making her put the treat into her mouth & between her teeth in order to put her hair back in place. As she looked up, she noticed that it was, in fact, a train. The usual one that always passed through, except there was something different about it. A few seconds later, Anemone noticed a young man fighting with armed men. The sight had surprised her so much that the sweet treat that she'd been holding onto fell to the ground with a plop. "Eh?" she looked down with innocent eyes & stared at the yumminess that the dirty ground had suddenly claimed, not believing that it had happened. "Aww ~ but why?"

Anemone whined over her loss for a while before picking it up & chucking it into a nearby trashcan. Then, she dashed on after the train. There was something horribly wrong with it. She could feel in her bones... she giggled. That saying always made her giggle even though she always said it. What other girl actually said that with such a serious look despite having a cute face?

She was a fast runner considering her name, which had the meaning of "wind". & in no time, she'd reached a bridge. At that time, she was exhausted, so she sat down on top of it & leaned back as she caught her breath with heavy gasps.

Ellie strutted down the sidewalk, fiddling with the cheap sunglasses in her jeans' pocket. She had learned that it was always best to appear confident, as turned-down eyes were usually hidden for their colors as of late. She was headed for the supermarket by the train bridge, where there was a Magin-friendly human working the checkout at this time of night that she always took her things to, though she was beginning to raise the suspicions of the few other employees at that shift. But tonight would give her the key to some normalcy. She turned swiftly through the automatic doors and, nonchalantly avoiding any areas that the other employees might be loafing, headed straight for the cosmetics aisle to the colored contacts. She took one look at the prices listed and winced. There was nothing under $35. She could think of reasons why, though, the most probable of them being the steep increase of the things' customers, and the nature of what they were hiding. She reached for a box of brown contacts. "My old color," she thought. Her face stiffened. "Even the tiniest hint of my old life is too painful." She sighed. "I need to move on someday..." Her hand hovered over the box for a while, then twitched to the side and grabbed a box of blue ones, swinging by her leg as she took it to the checkout. "Evening," she said in a loud whisper to the man with the "Dave" name tag, handing him the contacts.

"Hey, Ellie." He smiled, a knowing look in his eyes, and rung it up as she pulled a thick stack of bills out her wallet (she had made it herself, entirely out of duct tape) and paid, taking the box to the bathrooms in the back after waving over her shoulder to Dave. She left the store with a new pair of eyes and a tiny spring in her step.

Her contentedness did not last long, however, for as she left the building she heard crashing and gunfire coming from the bridge. Shocked, she ran to a place where she could see what was happening. She blinked a few times. The contacts stung, blurring her vision just a bit, but she knew she would get used to them. A train was stopped in the center of the bridge, and she could barely make out some figures battling around it. There were obviously Magins involved, because she could sense something unnatural about the way one of the figures moved. "I have to help," she thought. She glanced around and ran to the bridge, where a girl sat panting. She opened her mouth and was about to speak to her in a whisper, but noticed her pink eyes and decided to take a chance. She hesitated for only a moment before asking, "Are you all right (you all right)? What's going on over there (ver there)?"

Axel moved from person to person as fast as he could. It was rather annoying as sometimes the key card wouldn't swipe right the first time. Technology could be such a bitch sometimes. Suddenly someone came through the door, a young....Axel wasn't really sure gender wise to be honest. The person looked boyish but as a side effect of his powers he could feel the way a person's mind worked, it wasn't particularly useful but this person had a somewhat feminine neural pattern. Axel shrugged it off. "Hey I'm Axel. Not to look a horse in the mouth but are you crazy? You just possibly threw yourself into a war zone." Axel swiped another person's cuffs. "Everyone who is free pick up a weapon and make sure those guards stay down!" Another pair of cuffs opened and another prisoner was released from their bonds. Axel had to admit things were moving along a lot faster with an extra person. He addressed the technopath again. "We need to figure out a way to get these people off and fast. Did you see what was going on out their? How is our 'savior' holding up?" Axel had just finished releasing the last prisoner when he heard a loud shot. He spun around to see one of the Magin laying on the ground, bleeding from his upper chest. One of the guards was swinging a rifle around. "Everybody back against the wall!" Axel was woozy from the earlier mass neuro hacking and knew if he tried anything he was gonna pass out before they escaped. "Guy just calm down, you're surround by Magin, how many do you think you'll get before they tear you to pieces?"

Allen disliked the sound of the fighting. Every now and then a rifle would go off, sounding like a firecracker. It broke the peace, interrupted the jazz music playing on a loop - but mostly he hated it because it reminds.

It reminded him that out there, kids are fighting for their lives while he was here, comfortably in pajamas with milk and cookies in the fridge. It reminded him that there are such things as oppressed Magins, and that following the like-assist-like rule, he should help them. Even now he could see the telltale red lights approaching from a distance. The sky was peppered with dots of red. If the kid doesn't get them all out soon, they would be jumping from frying pan into the fire.

"I wouldn't be of help anyway." He muttered. What was he supposed to do anyway? Derail the train? Melt hovercrafts? Kind of hard to do when he can't get within 50 feet without being shot down, isn't it? Angora raised her head, as though mocking him. How would you know if you don't try? Coward.

Allen ignored it, and the truth in it.

Instead, he pulled out the box he hid behind his books. The books on the first row of his bookshelf were all cut in half. Behind their covers and their half-flesh, Allen had hidden a box, filled with cuttings from newspapers and little hologram discs with recordings of the news. All the news shared a commonality. They were all of Magins, of captured ones, of escaped ones, of warnings and sightings and articles telling you how to deal with berserk Magins. Telling people they should report their own families and friends if they were found to be Magins. That they would be subsequently undergo 'rehabilitation.'

Rehabilitation, my foot. There's no cure for being a Magin. Unless you mean death. But despite this, there were fools who reported their friends and families, believing it to be the truth. Believing that when you share a hovercraft with the sentinels there's actually a chance of you walking out free again.

His fingers searched the box until he came across the article he wanted. It was from a newspaper, it's edges torn from being handled all the time. It reported Sen's speech about Magins, telling the public that the government had found a resistance group. A resistance group! How sweet it had sounded at that time. Allen had hoped with all his might that this 'resistance group' might one day gain enough strength to be recognized. To liberate all Magins and future Magins from a life of hiding and masquerades and scavenging like little dirty rats. But it was just that one article. If they're still around, no one's reported of them.

Allen gripped it, punching neat rows into it's side. It was covered all over with similar marks. Going back to the window, he watched the dots of red expanding. He could almost see the revolving pattern of the lights now. Listening to the gunshots mingling with Tony Bennett, he leaned against the windowsill and wondered if they were the resistance.

As Anemone tried to regain her breath, she could see a young woman making her way towards her. At first, she wondered whether she was a Magin or a human. Magins themselves also looked human when they weren't showing their beastly side, so it worried her that she couldn't tell at first glance. Then, she remembered that it was nighttime, the hours that very little humans wandered about. She still didn't want to risk it, so she gripped the railing of the bridge, pulled herself up & got ready for anything.

Anemone parted her lips to say something, but that's when the young woman spoke. Her words echoed & thus, her worry was replaced by curiosity & relief. She was like her, a Magin. This brought a smile to her face before replying, "I'm all right. Thank you for asking. & quite frankly, I'm not sure myself. Other Magins are attacking that train." She paused for a moment, her pink gaze shifting towards the train & narrowing slightly. "But I could figure out..."

She leaned down on the railing, resting her crossed arms on top & then placing her chin there. Anemone studied the train, as if she could look past its walls. Of course, she couldn't, but she could pick up only the certain kind of brain waves that knocked out or sleeping people transmitted. In no time, she found one person, who she could tell was a soldier because of what his mind held. Her pink eyes glowed an even brighter color whilst her mind partially connected with the stranger; she traveled inside his brain & picked out the information she could gather. When she returned, her eyes turned a soft pink again.

"Others like us are, or were, trapped within that train like cargo. They were taking them somewhere, but even one of the soldiers didn't know where," Anemone told the young woman with a serious expression.

Just then, as the door to the cargo cart opened behind gaurd that had arrived, the body of another official flung through, ramming the gaurd up against the wall, knocking him out. Stepping through the now open door, Sikes came in, dusting his hands off, as abit of scrapes from afew shots stain his clothes abit. As he looked into the room, he was suprised to see all the "cargo" already getting ready to leave. "Well, this is a suprise. Almost like I didn't need to rip this place apart after all. Is everyone ok?" He asks as he looks at his fellow Magins.

"I took out most of the scum on board, but I'm sure that there are still some nearby. Just stay behind me, alright?" He steps out of the exit that they already made and looked around outside for a moment to make sure the coast is clear. Looking back, he asks the others, "How many of you are able to fend for yourselves? To know how many need protection."

"I can fend for myself," Nate said, promptly raising his hand. He turned to the other boy, the one that had been in the cargo hold to begin with. He could probably defend himself too, considering what those guards were doing earlier.

Nate's eyes settled on the pile of guards sprawled across the floor. He walked over to them and grasped onto one of their rifles, that was laying beside their unconsious bodies. He inspected it in his hands. Most boys who appeared to be his age wouldn't know how to opperate one as effeciently as he. But it went without saying that Nate was no normal boy. Securing it in his grip, he prepared himself to flee the train, before they were all caught.

Ellie watched with interest as the Magin's eyes began to glow. She hadn't met very many Magins, at least, ones who would admit to being so. Was this one a telepath? It was a lucky thing that they could figure out what was happening without putting themselves in harm's way. In any case, Ellie was relieved that the woman didn't say anything about her voice, and began to like her already. After all, anyone who could take such an odd thing in stride couldn't be that bad, she reasoned.

Ellie listened carefully as the information from the soldier was relayed to her. So that was what the train was for. How many others had she seen that were cruelly taking innocent Magins to their... "Right view," she reminded herself, turning to look at the train. She didn't know if this was the only train with a Magin cargo, so she couldn't judge as if it wasn't. But either way, she couldn't just stand by. "I'm going to go help (go help). I can't fight, but I can at least get people out of there (out of there)." She stepped onto the tracks and began to approach the train.

The world went fuzzy for a short moment before he snapped back. Axel wasn't the most powerful Magin in the world and mass hallucination caused a huge strain on his brain. He shook his head and responded. "I have a slight headache but give me an aspirin and I'm good to go." He still didn't know who any of these people were. Why had this guy attacked the train? Was it personal or is he generally pissy with the government? And who was the dude with the feminine mind set? So many questions made it even harder to concentrate. "The guards probably have something in the cabinet over there, they seemed to have been mixing something with the Xmirfron that dulled the pain. I advise that anyone who knows how to shoot a gun pick one up." He slipped over to the cabinet and began rummaging through the medicine, eventually finding some Morphine. He grabbed the needle and handed it to the closest Magin, Axel hated needles and knew he couldn't do it himself.

Moments later the Morphine kicked in. It was an extremely temporary solution but it was better than nothing. The illusionist picked up a rifle and headed towards the front of the train. "Let's get this show on the road everybody! Try to aim for the kneecaps, easier target!" In actuality Axel just didn't want anyone to get killed. "And those of you who aren't carrying a gun get to carry the wounded guy." He stopped next to the two Magin that had arrived to help. "Thank you both but I've got a lot of questions when we get out of here."

Seeing the two that replied to being able to fight, he smirks at the two. "Ok, just follow me while protecting the others then." He tells them as he then steps outside, hardly a second past before shots suddenly covered them as Sikes quickly formed a wall to block the attacks. "Man, they sure are eager." Straining to block the incoming fire, he looks at the two that volunteered to help. "How about you two work on your aim?" He says jokingly as he opens a small gap in the wall for them to fire from. "It's alittle hard to attack when I'm defending this much."

----------

About a mile away, high in the air, a cargo ship started coming into range. Spotting the fire on the protected "cargo", the officials on board confirmed the situation. The captain then ordered the rest, "Prepare to dispatch, The Peace Keeper!" As the others start activating systems and functions onboard.

Nate followed behind. As they exited the train and rounded the corner, the other Magins following behind, they were assaulted by a onslaught of bullets.

"How about you two work on your aim?" The shadow one said, as he created a barrier before them to sheild them from fire.

Nate cocked the gun, a grin on his face. "I don't need to work on my aim," he said, as he readied the rifle. "This is what I was made for." He shot through the hole, taking out one, two, three officers in a matter of five seconds, targeting them all at the neck, head, and chest. There was a tiny click, as the gun signified it was out of bullets. Great, if the officers weren't so trigger happy they would have left more for him to use. No problem then. He only had to pause breifly as the gun glowed dark purple, tiny sparks leaped off of it. Then, it was ready to go again. Nate ducked as a bullet wized through the hole made in the wall. He looked back in horror as he heard screams coming from the other Magins, but luckily it seemed like no one had been hit. "Everyone stay down!" He shouted at them, urgency in his voice. How could people like himself so resemble a flock of confused sheep? Maybe it was just because they were disoriented from being on that train for so long.

"This is rediculous," he hissed, as he fired through the gap yet again. Occasionally, he'd pause and hide behind the wall, allowing the other Magin (the illusion one), get his shots through. "Wonder if it's ever going to let up..."

While he was hiding behind the wall, he conjured a pilstol. from his left hand, that emerged from his skin as if it was water, and then landed gracefully into his grasp. He held the rifle between his knees as he prepared it and, when he was finished, it should have been good to go for the rest of the fight. At least I won't have to reload as much now, he thought.

"Magins these days... they are a lot more aggressive..."

Aiza chuckled as she placed her blade gun over her shoulder watching how the "rescue team" finished the job as she remembered the past. Before the Magins would hid in the deepest parts of the city, even if that meant living in a secluded corner. Anything was good at least until one, two or maybe four of them would go berserk and try to destroy everything then the same routine as always: happy trigger guards trying to kill all just as the law said.

The girl shook her head slowly, times were changing for her it would not be a surprise awakening one day to see a Magin instead of Sen. The question was: would that meant changing a tyrant for other? "Well I don´t really care..."

What is the best way to know if someone is traumatized? Look at their reactions.

Aiza moved her head to a side so quickly that even her bones snapped, hiding as a daily basis to survive forced one to do a lot of things, one of them was to listen, now she wasn´t like a Magin or had a super ear, but still there was something in the air that bothered her... a lot. The girl ducked as if she tried to "dive" in the ceiling watching desperately around her holding her blade gun with strength, something wasn´t right.

Axel popped up for a moment, fired a few shots, all of which missed, and dropped again. "God dammit. I'm not made for killing people." He muttered under his breath and dropped the rifle he was holding. Suddenly one of the guards shot themselves in the foot and another fell as if he had just suffered a hard hit to the head. Axel smirked for a moment then looked at a random Magin. "You! Go grab me two more morphine shots and see if you can find some adrenaline. " By the time we're done here I'm gonna have more preservatives than a Twinkie. The Magin ran off towards the medical cabinet. Axel reached out again and grabbed the nerve center of a random soldier. That soldier fired a shot through another soldier's knee before taking three shots in the back himself. The Magin returned and handed Axel three needles, all of which he set aside for later use. He turned and tapped the black haired Magin on the shoulder. "Could you shoot me up? I have a plan to disperse the rest of the soldiers."

Before Anemone could say anything, the Magin she'd just met approached the train. She knew that she wouldn't be of any help up close, although not for the reason that she couldn't fight. She could, in fact, fight despite having a delicate image. However, something within her told her that "she mustn't" & that was good enough for her. Plus, she didn't trust herself very much at the moment, for she hadn't eaten for three days & her strength wasn't top-notch because of that.

"Why do I feel like I'm making excuses?" Anemone muttered underneath her breath as she fluttered her eyes to a close & leaned against the railing again. Instantly, she submerged herself into the unconscious mind of a soldier, whose mind was polluted by hatred & vengeance towards the Magins, who had taken the life of his future wife. Not all of them had done it, just one. In his eyes, however, they were all guilty.

Anemone got a shiver from the soldier's thoughts, but she continued to walk on his mind until she found what she was looking for. Slowly, she reopened her glowing eyes & at the same time, placed her two palms together. As she separated them, a plasma rifle appeared in between until it rested on her hands. She looked at it with slight confusion since she never really used guns much, but because of her brothers she'd learned a few things.

Her moment of not being a target suddenly changed when she heard the voice of a man shout, "hey! I found another one--". Of course, Anemone wasn't about to let the soldier give her away just yet. She aimed her newly found gun at him & pulled the trigger, sending a torrid of plasma at him--silencing him mid-sentence. She looked at the man she killed not out of guilt, but a bit of surprise. Anemone bit her lower lip innocently as she looked away--the word "oops" fitting her current expression perfectly.

Re: [OOC] Magins: Imagination Turned Real

Gah, tl;dr post!

So sorry, but it's the Lunar New Year's now, so I might not be posting until the weekend is over. (Visitations + celebrations, etc) Yes, I'm Chinese, so it's kind of a compulsory family thing. xD

Thought I'll just put everything Allen will be doing in one post. Sorry~

Re: [OOC] Magins: Imagination Turned Real

Very very good, guys. all working on it while I wasn't here. XD

Re: [OOC] Magins: Imagination Turned Real

breemee: Yeah... maybe they've even been creating anti-technopath systems specifically to fight against Magins, and this is the first field test for the system.

Zydaline: No, no! I look forward to your posts. The details are great :)

Re: [OOC] Magins: Imagination Turned Real

Yeah, giving the mech a handicap will be fine. Up to you what it is, of course.

And do you think my posts are too tl;dr, guys? I'm used to writing like this for fanfiction so...Yeah, just tell me if I should shorten it/put less detail.

Re: [OOC] Magins: Imagination Turned Real

I'd probably go with the system being too complicated to control the whole thing but then control small bits and pieces, like locking up those rockets, or screwing up the targeting system so it has to target manually.

Axel is gonna be extremely loopy and screwed up.....

Re: [OOC] Magins: Imagination Turned Real

Mmmm, alright I'm going to ask for some advice for youz guys. I don't want to godmod, but I don't want my character to seem like a complete idiot for not realizing this because it is a part of her power. But she can control and manipulate mechanical things... and that's a giant mech. Soooo.... should I just make it seem like it's too large and the system is too complicated or something for her to control? Or maybe... eh... I dernt know... Controlling it a little would be a little fun :P... Opinions pweze >.<

Re: [OOC] Magins: Imagination Turned Real

Suddenly I see a massive robot like the ones the Protoss build or one of those that appear in Robocop just bigger and more modern. Oh the possibilities... See? That´s why I stay away XD. To avoid a sure death.

Re: [OOC] Magins: Imagination Turned Real

*waves finger* nah uh uh, all you could possible get now is the ship it's in. After all, what kind of a boss type enemy will it be if you jsut shoot it before it arrives? XD

Re: [OOC] Magins: Imagination Turned Real

Wanna describe 'The Peacekeeper" for us Obliv, so we can shoot at it?

@Missing: Awesome! (I think) E-five!

Re: [OOC] Magins: Imagination Turned Real

Cool. Do you know how you placed yet?

I'll try not to hold it against you too much. Slow and a liar. Does that mean their a slow liar? And would that translate to stupid liar, or a liar that takes forever to come up with a decent story.... I mean, uh....thanks for posting in a timely manner. Lol

Re: [OOC] Magins: Imagination Turned Real

It's a musical competition. I was a solo singer.

Gah, apparently I meant "tomorrow" when I said "shortly" D: But it was almost midnight. To the RP, away!

Re: [OOC] Magins: Imagination Turned Real

ISSMA?
Cool, then I'll wait for you before I post again.
