It had been a long day for Bill Throne, most of which were spent in meetings, which he had attended as head of advertising, the topic of his last meetings, and also the longest, revolved around the new headache powder account. Bill had been asked to sit in on the meeting when the board failed to come to a resolution as to a proper ad campaign for this particular item. The compromise that they had settled upon had come directly from Bill Thorn, though it took some persuading to convince them that this was the right way to go, the idea being to use a model in the advertisement, and not just the disembodied hand of a female hand actor.

She had just entered the bar in her short booty shorts that were black and clung to her hips tightly. The white top was almost see through, too much for her taste i might add. As she started to take peoples orders her eyes scanned the room for anyone who looked to be a big shot. Mary wasn't gonna spring....Actually yeah that's what she planned on doing. she would die to be able to sing and be famous. Letting out a heavy sigh she returned to the bartender setting down the try, "Hey Tony. one beer one scotch straight up with the rocks." She flipped through her pad.

"Got it!" He announced

Mary turned around where she continued to look at people. The bags under her eyes and the slight pout in her lips could instantly tell she was worn out. And worn out by everything. Her life. People. The criminals that walk the streets she all wanted that to change for one time. Tony calling her back from her thoughts she took the drinks and served them to the customers. As she continued to do for every minute that ticked on.

That day at work was one of the hardest that Bill had ever spent in his four years with the company, the day had been so difficult that Bill was about to do something which for him was very uncharacteristic, he would visit a local bar. Not being particularly choosy he made his way into the very first bar that he came upon, which just happened to be "Tony's bar" on fifth Street and Lexington. Bill was a workaholic and as a result he rarely indulged in the drink, female company, or company in general, for him it was work and nothing else. Frankly Bill was never much of a ladies man, he rarely dated and had not had a girlfriend for several years, and although there were several eligible ladies working for his company that had noticed him and were interested in him, he never seemed to catch on to this and so nothing ever came of it. On this night however he did notice the very lovely waitress which was approaching his table as he shook off some of the rain that had fallen upon him as he made his way to the bar. This sudden shift was not for personal gain or interest, he just thought that physically she would make the perfect model for his new ad campaign. He planned on introducing himself when she got closer to his table to take his order.

She walked over to him holding up a black tray with empty bottles and drinks, "Hi can i get you anything?" She questioned Shifting her body for a second feeling the weight on her arm annoying. As she waited for him to respond she pulled out the pad to remember what he wanted. Flipping through the pages as someone called over to her. the local drunks. "One second Charlie and Maureen!" She turned her attention back at the guy. He wasn't bad looking but he looked so stiff but has a young appeal she couldnt understand why such a young guy was so uptight looking.

Bill looked up at the waitress said that he would like a draft beer, unable to decide what brand he desired, he said that he would leave it up to her. Just as she was about to walk away Bill called out to her, "Hey, Mis. Can I ask you a question?" The Auburn haired young woman turned around and stepped back toward Bill's table and asked him what he wanted. "You.. you wouldn't happen to be a model would you?" Bill asked her, hoping that she would not take it as some sort of cliché pickup line, and although it did not speak well to his desirability as a man she had not taken it as an uninspired and rather archaic attempt to hit on her.

"NO, OH PLEASE GOD NO!" screamed the drug lord, oh how the mighty had fallen, following the man at a walking pace Vincent wondered how this one should be dealt with. The man was supposedly also involved in human trafficking, the perfect prey. The man finally walking into the dead end of his house, Shocker decided some shock therapy was in order and grabbed the man head with a single hand.

"W-please no! I have money! il give you double what you would be payed! just let me go" the crook bargained like the coward he was

"...No" finally spoke Vincent, charging his electricity into the holding hand, effectively frying the mans head.

now just to hand the body in, and this day would be complete. Simple, routine, just how he liked it.

She stared at Bill wildly. Giving off a laugh looking around. "I uhh no i'm not a model sir." She said softly. She shifted her weight onto her other leg still cocking it out slightly. She didn't know what to say. It was odd thing to say. "Do you ask all girls you like that question?" She smirked. It wasn't the first time some guy used a pick up line on her. But this one was the weirdest to her. Indeed.

Bill sensed that the young lady was mistaking his legitimate question for a pickup line, feeling the need to ensure her that his comment was purely business in nature he said to her, "No mis, don't get me wrong. I'm being completely serious here, my name is Bill Thorn and I'm an executive for the Dannsforth Pharmaceutical Corporation, we are looking for a model for a new ad and I thought you would be perfect for it" Hoping that this would clear things up for her Bill sat patiently at the table and waited for her to reply. As he sat there he could see that she was running all of this through her mind, but before she could answer him their conversation was disturbed by some unfortunate events that are transpiring in the front part of the bar. The commotion had distracted them as they reflexively turned their heads in the general direction of the strange sounds. After a few moments however they turned back and continued their conversation.
