↝ What does one think of at the mention of 'Masquerade'? Pretty dresses, fancy masks, people with explicit personalities, and Victorian ages. Old times. And this is where it all began.

↝ The queen has invited you to a ball. But a Masquerade ball, with pretty masks and elegant dresses. But why would she invite you, a low class thief? Balls were for the rich. Not for the 'filthy.' However, you've heard of her balls before, that were the most beautiful in all the land. You itched to go.

↝ This queen is odd. Her and her three daughters are people who lust for amusement, and rich life has given all money can buy, but it's simply not enough. So they've decided to invite the low-lives, and see what mischief they could stir up. So she's invited thieves, assassins, witches, demons, faes, and humans to attend.

↝ You've borrowed the most decent clothes you can find, and you walk to the palace to attend there, and hand in your invitation to the guards. They open the door, and the palace reveals its secrets to you. Now, what will happen, in our Masquerade ball?

Come to the ball.
Dance through the hall.
A glorious play for all.
A mask is needed for this play.
Hide thy face, so thy can stay.

↝ Semi-literate or literate. I want at least a paragraph, don't want to many 1-liners, proper grammar structure, correct punctuation, and no - -, ** for actions. No text talk either. It's not... literate. But you can text talk in the OOC.

↝ Profiles, use anime pictures please, and for your mask and dress/tux you can use real picture I don't mind.

↝ Follow the ToS rules and also mine to please. Be respectful, no godmod or autohitting, no sexual scenes. There might be some, but if there is, timeskip. I'm one of the said princesses, so follow what I say, their can be a queen but she doesn't make most of the rules for this roleplay.

(PS; this is in a 1700's setting, like somewhere in England, but with mythical creatures. So primitive guns, no cells or anything.)
