Helaine won't drink the blood of just any random person, even if she were starving and only had a stranger to feed off of, she would rather starve. Growing up she's been spoiled and expects nothing but the best for herself, this is obvious when speaking to her. She can be very condescending at times, but after you have a chance to warm up to her you'll find that she isn't nearly as bad as she initially may seem
