Introduction
currently you are on Omega, in the one place were people go to gather and mingle... Afterlife. its a place were there are no rules but your own and Aria's, the Asari Matriarch who runs Omega with a tight foot hold. there is a Strange Turian female who has takken up a table in the VIP section of Afterlife. word has it she's up for hire as a mercinary for special missions. she has a ship waiting in the docking bay, ready to go with the first buyer. but the only catch she has is that whoever hires her has to help her with an old grudge. the problem is that no one knows anything more than that. lots of rumors float around on Omega and it's said that Aria wants the female Turian gone ASAP, and she's contacted you to take the Turian out of Omega.

Story Timing with Mass Effect 2 and other important influential events:
The council was saved from Soverigns attack on the citidel.
Urdnot Wrexx survived Virmire and is now the leader of Clan Urdnot.
Gunnerary Cheif Ashley Williams was killed on Virmire. and kaidan Alenco survived.
Rachni Queen was released onto Noveria and now is rebuilding her race.
All Geth Heretics have been rewritten by Legion... but some could have escaped the rewriting....?
RP starts as Shepard approaches the suicide mission in Mass Effect 2.
(note: this in incomplete becuase i have to do some checking into my profile for ME. i pretty much took a Paragon path in everything.)
Rules
1.) no god moding, it is not tollerated at all.
2.) all themes are wellcome but use them appropriately (ex. sex, violence, language, drugs)
3.) traditional forum rules apply
4.) only 6 characters will be approved that means only 6 people will be allowed to join
5.) only pick alien races that are known to the Mass Effect Universe. racial mixes can be customised according to the possiblility that Mass Effect provides (ex. Asari + Krogan= Asari Krogan who appears to look asari but has unique scale patterns)
6.) race options: Asari, Krogan, Slarian, Turian, Volus, Human, Vorcha, Batarian, Quarian (more will be added if i miss any)
7.) Geth are allowed, but you MUST keep this character VERY close to how Legion works in Mass Effect 2. this means talking like a Geth, acting like a Geth, and having a VERY detailed explination as to how your Geth character came to be. as well as why its away from its people. this class requires a very good creative story teller.
8.) all character profiles will have to be approved. look at other approved profiles to see what i am accepting.
9.) be creative!
10.) put all writing through a word document or some program with spell and grammar check before you post anything! it makes things easier on us all when we can read your story with out trying to desipher things. so you must put your writings through a spell and grammar check 1st at all times before posting. i will not allow errors unless they are VERY small ones that can be passed as typos that spell check did not sense before you posted. contact me for further details and concerns about this rule if you want to RP but have trouble with writing. i will help you, but you must take action on learning how to write and improving.
11.) follow the order of posting and wait your turn. it will make posting and reading posts easier on us all. and even more so when we would like to revisit these posts to read.
12.) when joining the RP you must submit a sample of your RPing skills in a PM to Dragonrose247 (thats me), failure to do so will result in no approval of your character and no posting with in the RP. what i'm looking for: submit a sample post that would technically be your first post in ME:Revenge of the Soldiers. it must be creativly written and at least a few paragraphs long.
13.) Post length must be at least 3 paragraphs long at all times in the RP.

OOC Notes
A Turian female specter, here, on Omega? And the council didn’t send her? What the hell are they thinking letting her roam around like this? I can’t risk her starting something and making me clean up her mess! Aria thought, her mind racing, trying to piece it all together so that she could make proper sense of it all.
“That Turian Female really didn’t make you comfortable, huh? Should I go take care of her for you?” Grizz seemed to smirk.
Aria instantly snapped a look at Grizz.
“That won’t be necessary. You heard her. She just wants some one to pay her way across the galaxy, so she could get some revenge.” She snapped. Aria’s face grew twisted with disgust, “Besides, let her rot, but not on Omega. Make sure you find someone to hire her out of here. And don’t keep me waiting. I want her gone… now.” Aria finished her words with a glare.
Grizz gave her a short nod, turned, and walked away down the stairs. Aria watched Grizz until he was out of sight. She crossed her legs as she relaxed back into her seat. The other guards stood at attention ready for any orders Aria might have for them. As one of the Batarian body guards looked over at her, Aria smirked and talked to him as if he had started a conversation by just looking at her in the first place. Not like he had much choice anyway since she was his boss.
Aria chuckled, “Besides… she was strange.” But then Aria’s voice grew serious, “Her eyes… seemed human. I don’t like strange people in my Omega. Something tells me she can’t be trusted. The only use I’d have for her, would be for her to stay away from me… and as far away as possible.” Aria sighed and rearranged her legs, “And she threatened me if I didn’t find her work. She intended to fuck with me. ME! Queen of Omega! She’s lucky that I didn’t kill her for her pointing a gun at my face! She just walked out on me the moment she decided she wasn’t going to talk anymore.”
Aria’s face seemed to be filled with rage now as her thoughts receded back to the conversation. It was a heated one, and it almost had Aria wanting to kill the Turian.
“Then she demands that I, Aria of Omega, find her a job by the end of the week or else? Who does this bitch think she is? I’m only giving her one chance and one chance only to leave with her life.” Aria pouted and crossed her arms.
Still, she couldn’t shake the feeling of being played at her own game. And by another female no less! But the Turian had some guts to boldly swing her weight around like that, so Aria respected her, if only for a piece of admiration.
OOC Notes
Inoc was careful not to pick any fights in after life. He had already managed to piss Aira off a few years back. He really was just trying to find a safe place to sit for a while, and as crazy as it sounded hiding in Aira's club was the smartest thing to do. No one would shoot the place up out of an attempt to wound him, and if Aira spotted him, and still harbored a grudge he could easily weave through the crowd, and out of the club.
Inoc simply kept his armored hands folded over the table with his head slightly bent over, almost as if he were reading something. He slowly looked around, looking for the Krogan that had pursued him into After-life. Again this was the beauty of the whole situation on Omega. Now that the three major clans were leader-less it made moving around so much easier, atleast until they managed to get their new leaders elected.
Ever vigilant Inoc was never moved by the fear of being found. His breathing was even, and he was ready to launch someone across the room if his biotics were needed to; However, if the Krogan were still chasing him, than it would only push him a few feet back. If Inoch was lucky he could knock the wind out of his pursuer, and make it seem like a minor bar scuffle.
Though Inoc didn't have reason to warrant worry, his pursuer was no where to be found, and had probably lost Inoc's trail by now. Inoc simply huddled into his booth, and waited. As the minutes ticked by Inoc rubbed the side of his head wear, where the strange Turian symbol was engraved into the side of his helmet. It brought back harsh memories yes, but sometimes the good ones were worth it.
In the years that followed the death of his freinds, he had scanned, and searched the desolate canyons in search of his lost comrade, but was only brought disappointing results. In-fact he didn't receive any form of results. The land he scoured was either Krogan populated, or was relatively lifeless.
It was true Inoc was wanted dead by various groups of criminals for his career as a hired gun. In truth he had killed many assets to the various crime lords on Omega--but his biggest mistake of all was killing someone under Aira's protection a while back. Ever since then she had been on the look out for Inoc for breaking the one rule of Omega. He just hoped he could get out of Afterlife soon. Inoc wanted to wait for any followers to think that he had left afterlife under their noses.
When in reality he was just a sitting duck with a target practically painted on his back.
OOC Notes
Aria should’ve just let me shoot that female Turian with the way she acted. I don’t know why Aria is letting such a fool live. Aria is even “finding” this Turian a job! She’s lucky... but then again… the female did say she was someone important… a Specter. Grizz thought.
As he scanned the bar for any potential recruiters, he spotted an armored Turian.
“Inoc sticks out like a sore thumb… all the time.” Grizz mumbled to himself.
Grizz knew who this was. He had seen this guy before and knew that if Aria found out that he was here… well, Grizz didn’t want to think of fighting this guy again. Inoc was perfect for this job if Grizz could convince him to take it. He respected Inoc, but as far as Grizz was concerned, Aria came first.
So, he walked up to Inoc and stopped, standing in front of him with his arms crossed over his chest.
“You better have a good excuse to be here Inoc. Aria doesn’t like trouble makers. I’ll pretend I didn’t see you as long as you stay away from Aria.” Gizz shifted his weight onto one leg and continued, “Besides, she’s got a job that needs taken care of… if you’re interested.”
Grizz stood there waiting for a reply from Inoc. He even had time to scratch and itch on his left mandible, just to pass the time. He knew Inoc was thinking and evaluating in his brain what Grizz had said. Grizz just wanted this part to be over and done with.
OOC Notes
Inoc pondered this for a while, he wouldn't full well know if Grizz was leading him into a trap, but then again that wasn't Aira's style. She preferred more.... direct manners of death.
Inoc let his sly, and raspy flanged voice seep through the speakers on his helmet.
"What do you have in mind?" He said with a dull tone of voice. Inoc didn't like taking an assignment from someone that very well might want to kill him, but then again work was hard to come by now a days, so many people wanted Inoc dead that it made it rather difficult not to take a job from a hostile party every now and then.
Inoc's broad shoulders were unmoving, his hands were slightly open, if Grizz intended to harm Inoc than he would have a hell of a time trying.
Inoc then realized he should probably get an armor change soon, if Grizz was able to spot him amongst others, than other merc groups would be able to do the same no doubt.
OOC Notes
“This Turian says she needs work, and someone to pay her way around the galaxy. All Aria wants is for this Turian to leave. She can be found in the VIP section of Afterlife near the markets. I advise you be cautious when speaking to her. She’s a Council Spectre, and for some reason her spending privileges have been suspended. Aria looked into her files. Trust me. If you want to not rub Aria the wrong way any more, I suggest you take her offer. This female Turian is more trouble than when you were here.” Grizz spoke as though he didn’t want to say too much. He shifted his weight again, letting his arms drop to his sides.
He paused again and added, “Her name is Kei Taosci. If you get lost trying to find her, you can always talk to the Patriarch. Kei and the old Krogan seem to be on better terms than she is with Aria.” Grizz sighed. He knew that he was talking Inoc to death, but at least he was giving him some important information. This information was crucial if Inoc was going to take the job. Personally, Grizz just wanted him to take the job and be done with it all.
“You’ll need a pass word to get into the VIP section. So use Jarood when the bouncer at the door asks who sent you. When you pick up the female, make sure you come see me or Aria. She’s promised a large sum to whoever can get this female off of Omega. And be careful, Aria doesn’t want a shoot out in all this. This female Turian is more likely to shoot you if you waste her time than just walking away.” Grizz finished. He stood there impatiently, waiting to see if Inoc had any questions. He personally just wanted to leave, but he had to make sure that Inoc was fully taking the job.
OOC Notes
Inoc felt hesitant when he realized he would have to pay the female Turian to leave. Where to? Inoc only had one destination in mind, but it would be pointless to visit Tuchanka yet again. Nothing would be gained from yet another trip to the Krogan home-world; However when he mentioned she was a spectre Inoc's mandibles slightly moved out of surprise. It wasn't every day someone saw a specter lounging in the VIP section of a club built for criminals.
When Grizz finished, Inoc felt slightly better with this new good news, he would be solving his credit use, he would no longer be on Aria's bad side, and if this turned out alright he would be off of Omega allowing the heat on him to die down.
"Looks like Aria has got herself a deal. Kei will be off of Omega in a few moments." Inoc said as he walked past Grizz. He walked silently to the main entrance of After-life. Inoc made sure his Helmet was fully on, he didn't want unwanted eyes getting a good look at his face. People had an annoying tendency of remembering faces that they shouldn't.
When Inoc reached the entrance to Afterlife, his mind screamed defiance. He could potentially be a thorn in Aria's side yet again, but this feeling was quickly dismissed, as the perks he would gain by getting Kei off of Omega outweighed the urge to hurt Aria's influence.
He weaved through the throngs of people evading all Krogans continuously combing their way through the crowded groups of races.
OOC Notes
“I got someone to pick up the female. He’s on his way to get her right now.” Grizz spoke, holding his hand up near his right ear as he did so.
“Good.” Aria replied.
The communications channel cut off and Grizz lowered his hand. The lights of Afterlife danced across his form as he lowered his gaze and walked off to resume his post next to Aria.

“Heeeeyyyy there cutie.” Chimed a male voice next to her.
Kei glanced over and realized it was the same drunk male Turian from the hour before. He was leaning over to her, as if it would persuade her to be friendly with him. He was dressed in the casual Turian ware. His face paint was blue, his hide and skin color was brown.
Kei sighed, “Beat it before I toss you out the door.”
“Aw come on.” He said, leaning back on the chair he was sitting in. “I look forward for you tossing me, but shouldn’t we do it in bed first sweetie?” he finished.
Kei bolted up out of her seat and instantly grabbed the male by the front of his clothes. She brought his face close to hers and spoke in a dangerous low tone, “if you don’t get your ass away from me, I might do more than just throw your body out of this room. You’re beginning to annoy me! For the past hour you have been lusting at me and it’s disgusting! So before you decide to say another word, you better save it for the council I work for. Unless you’d rather take them up on it right now. I can speak for them because I’m a spectre. Now get lost!”
The male panicked. “What’s wrong with your eyes?! No Turian Spectre would have-” he exclaimed as Kei tossed him to the ground.
“Leave!” She roared.
The male Turian left as soon as he appeared. He ran away from her, shaken from what he just saw. Kei looked around, seeing other’s watching her with weary looks.
“What? Any one else tonight want to talk to me?” she spat. All of the people who were watching her quickly turned their heads and pretended as if nothing had happened. Kei only snorted in response and walked calmly back to her seat. Her body burned with rage but it quickly cooled down a few notches. After all, she wasn’t here to start fights, she told herself.
OOC Notes
"Who sent you?" he inquired not showing any fear whatsoever.
"Jarood sent me." Inoc said shortly after with halfhearted confidence. The bouncer nodded, and as if on cue the door automatically opened before Inoc. The bouncer took the time to wave him through quickly, not quite wanting people to get any funny ideas.
Inoc stepped through the frontal waiting room, and stepped into the initial VIP room. The flickering lights began to play tricks on the Visor situated in Inoc's helmet. He calmly twisted his helmet to the left ever so slightly, and continued to lift it off of his head while he crossed the dance-floor. Lights danced off of his jet black scaly complexion, his blue eyes dulled with sleep deprivation.
He held onto his helmet with one hand at his side. Inoc relished the fact that he was able to show his face in the Afterlife VIP room, for most of his enemies weren't exactly lurking within VIP sections of popular clubs. Taking too much care into maneuvering through the throngs of people he had barely enough time to maneuver to his left avoiding a distraught Male Turian that stumbled through the groups of people.
Inoc gave the fleeing Turian one last glance out of curiosity before he emerged into the lounging area. Inoc then spotted the Female Turian very close to his position. Many people were staring, had she caused a scene already?
“What? Any one else tonight want to talk to me?” she spat. Inoc found it hard not to dwell on the irony of this whole situation; However he strode out of the groups of people clustered together, and took a seat not to close to the Kei, and yet not too far away. He felt if she was flustered than Inoc shouldn't invade any privacies she might have.
Inoc turned his scarred face to Kei, and spoke in a deep rough voice. "I heard you need help on funding, and I need help getting off of Omega. It seems as if we could assist each-other if you would allow it." He finished, careful not to stare to much. Something about her didn't seem quite right, but Inoc chose to ignore it. Staring tended to give off bad first impressions.
OOC Notes
"I heard you need help on funding, and I need help getting off of Omega. It seems as if we could assist each-other if you would allow it." A dark colored male Turian finished. He looked like he was being careful, adverting his gaze else were. He was fully armoured, and he held a helmet in his lap.
Kei looked at him and resisted the urge to glare, but didn’t quite succeed. She glared, “Huh.” Her mandibles parted slightly as she sat back in her seat. “You heard right. Seems Aria decided to listen to me after all. I know why you’re here. So just cut the questions. I’ve been stuck on this piece of rock for one day so far. Of course we all need help getting off of it.” Kei replied. Her voice was harsh and filled with frustration.
But as she looked at this male Turian, her gaze seemed to roam over his figure, assessing his potential. Her eyes quickly scanned him as she slowly leaned forward. Her head broke free of the darkness and out into the well lit part of the table. Her scars and face paint finally brought into the light. Her neon green colored eye’s stood out, plain as day. Their human resemblance so striking that they glittered.
Kei propped her elbows up on the table and folded her hands together, entwining her fingers. She dipped her head down slightly, but kept her gaze on the dark male Turian.
Kei smirked, “you seem worthy of my time. Tell me, how would you be able to assist me? No doubt Aria is going to be paying you a shit load of credits to take me out of here. I’ve got a ship, but I need credits in order to fly out of here. And my ship is all out of fuel. But would Aria pay enough to get my ship out of the docking bay? It costs about 5000 credits to fill up. And…” she paused, leaning back into her seat and letting the darkness take hold of her gain.
“I’ve got a price for getting me off of Omega. And it isn’t just about the credits for my ship.” She finished with a cocky grin.
OOC Notes
Though if it helped any, most had forgotten about Inoc, the only people that really remembered his dishonor were higher ups in the Turian military, and of course his family. Inoc's eyes were locked onto Kei as she asked him how exactly hr could assist her.
He slightly leaned forward, and spoke. His right mandible missing the tip that arced downward moved along in complete harmony with his other mandible. "I could pay for your refuelings, repairs, you name it. Aria will pay anything that doesn't bankrupt her. And you will receive further funding if you agree to allowing me on your ship." Inoc finished. His feirce gaze was never moving. He always spoke in a polite manner when trying to make people realize he was allowing them to have open choices.
Though Inoc didn't feel entirely safe with trusting their funding to the money of Aria, she wasn't exactly the most supportive person. If worse came to worst he would fund the ship's vital functions with the credits Aria had given him, long enough so he could get off any-way. If funding was spontaneously cut short, Inoc didn't exactly know how long he could pay his way around.
He leaned back into his chair staring into the quiet darkness.
OOC Notes
This could be alright… she thought.
“Fine.” she said casually. “Doubt Aria would pay more than 15000 credits though. At least that’s what I told her it would take to get me off of this damn rock. I’ve got a score to settle outside of Omega.” She thought over out loud. Her voice was deep as it was low and rough.
Kei crossed her legs under the table before she added, “You got yourself a deal so long as you tell me your name and what your stakes are. I’ll be glad to help you out… you seem…” she looked the male over again, thinking as she did so. “…Worthy of my time here on Omega by the second… Any questions?”
Kei voice seemed to calm down as it sounded more pleased than frustrated.
OOC Notes
Inoc though it was comforting to think that Kei wasn't going to prove hostile. The last thing Inoc needed was taking a bullet for the sake of a job.
"The name's Inoc Tahuk, and as for stakes excuse my ignorance, but what exactly to you mean by stakes?" Inoc inquired. His voic was calm, his composure ragged with a hint of tiredness. He was still capable of many fights, but his eyes were dulled by the amount of chase the blood pack had been giving him.
Inoc restlessly scanned the crowds of people clustered together, weary of any watchers. He occasionally glanced back at Kei, but the danger following him would have to make pleasantries of eye contact wait.
OOC Notes
“Yes, stakes… like, are you willing to throw your life away on my behalf? This deal I have will get us all killed… or we might make it out alive. It’s obviously a suicide mission. Take your pick.” She leaned forward, bringing her face close to Inoc’s. “Are you willing to stake out a reputation on being a traitor to the council? If we leave this place, we will be considered as such.” Kei said. Not really letting on what it was. Almost daring Inoc to ask.
Kei had a smile on her face, well, as good as a smile recognizable on a Turian’s face. She was prepared for this mission, but was Inoc? She was testing him and could feel satisfaction from the discomfort she sensed. It was almost like a battle to her, only with words.
OOC Notes
He had fought with all three of Omega’s mercenary groups, the Blue Suns, the Blood Pack, and Eclipse. He wasn’t afraid of being on Omega though. Even with his impressive record against all three he was still small time in their eyes, one guy defending random cargo ships, and the recent war they had against some guy named Archangel really took a toll on them. Rumors were swirling that all three groups actually teamed up to stop him and that their leadership may have been killed in the battle. Besides, the job paid well and was for a good cause, even if Omega was the destination.
Some super virus was spreading like a plague through the residential areas on Omega. It was wiping out everyone except for Humans and the Vorcha. He was guarding a ship with valuable medical supplies being delivered to a clinic on Omega, he was making a difference. Even though he hadn’t worn an Alliance uniform in ages he was still an honorable military man, he protected the innocent and the weak. He never worked with mercenaries or slavers; he was more selective in his jobs than most hired guns. Of course he needed to get off Omega and there was only one person who could help him, Aria T’loak.
Entering Afterlife he first stopped to grab a drink, the last job was hell and he needed the break, however small it was. Soon however, Logan knew he needed to get down to business. He walked over to the stairs leading up to Aria’s personal overlook and saw a familiar face, Aria’s body guard Grizz.
Grizz didn’t know much about Logan other than the fact that he wouldn’t take any old job. Some kind of moral code or something but Grizz did know two things; Logan never started trouble on Omega and when he took a job it got done.
“Hey Grizz, I need to get off Omega,” Logan said. “Does Aria have any work that will get me off this rock?”
OOC Notes
"I'm used to suicide missions, dieing for a cause I believe in is what I am ready to do, the same goes for being a traitor." He returned her gaze. Giving nothing away he spoke up once more. "Is this a mission I would believe in?" He asked the lights dancing off of the large scar that ran across his face.
Whether or not Inoc joined Kei cause, depended on the mission now. If the mission was morally wrong this would heavily impact Inoc's choice.
OOC Notes
OOC Notes
She replied in a low voice, “I am the mission… partially… and partially the mission is about the one thing that should matter to us all.”
The music seemed to seep back into the conversation as Kei was heavily silent. She was choosing her words carefully. As she spoke, her voice seemed to falter for a second, “It’s… It’s a mission that I was imparted to by a certain Spectre of the Council. You should know him… Commander Shepard. He had Garrus Vakarian message me personally about the impending threat on the galaxy. It’s a favor I am indebted to them for. I won’t go into the details about that, but this mission will be about finding Heretic Geth and Reapers. I intended to take out any threats I can, even if it means that I will die. I have considered my life worthless for a long time. This mission will secure my place among all Turians if it is successful. either resulting in my death or if I survive.” Kei paused again as if trying to come up with an explanation for that as well.
“I personally don’t care as long as the mission gets completed.” Kei added quickly.
With that she stood up, allowing a full view of her body. In the darkness, the red lights on the rest of her suit could be seen. Her weapons outlined as silhouettes in the darkness.
OOC Notes
"I would be honored to fight along-side you." His voice had a slight metallic edge to it now that his helmet was on. If they were going to start moving again, Inoc thought it would be best to keep his helmet on. Again he couldn't stress the issue enough, if someone saw his face than it would be game over for him if his enemies knew his exact facial features. His beaten, and scarred face was enough to spot a mile away.
Inoc stood tall, and strong. Finding it reassuring he would be getting off of Omega soon.
"I'm ready to depart whenever you are." He spoke again. Inoc found it weird that he was speaking so much. He was used to keeping to himself for days on end. It slightly comforted him knowing that he was not going to be as quiet as he had been forced to be before.
Inoc began to do another routine scan of the crowd, his training never fully wore off, and ontop of his training there was always the need of vigilance to avoid a knife in the back.

(This is for anyone who wonders how Ga'Thar knows the password for After Lifes VIP section.) One day Ga'Thar was paid by Aria to fix After Lifes VIP door, when activated it would open and close quickly a random number of times. He was in earshot of the bouncer and noticed that everyone who got in mentioned a guy named Jarood, he quickly finished his work and got paid he then went to After Lifes VIP section mentioned Jarood and got in.
OOC Notes
When he got to the elevator to the VIP floor a bouncer stopped him and said, “You are the geth Aria told me about, I will give this warning you do any harm in there and I will personally send you into the recycler. Get going now.”
Ghost stepped into the elevator and began to hear a small music beat in the background. He had never really understood why organics destroyed their bodies with a poison called alcohol and drowned themselves in music.
When he got to the floor he scanned the surronding area to find someone matching the description he had been given. After scanning for 34.7 seconds he found someone matching the description of the turian female.
He quickly walked over and said, ”Kei-Spectre. I am called Ghost and have been tasked in helping you in your mission.”
OOC Notes
"Tell Aria I will help get the turian offworld," Logan replied. "See you around Grizz."
Grizz gave Logan a briefing on where to find the turian, as well as the password into the VIP section of Afterlife and then sent him on his way. Logan breathed a small sigh of relief, now that he was working for Aria no one on Omega would mess with him. They wouldn't want to cross her. He headed out the door and towards the VIP section of Afterlife.
Logan entered the VIP section of Afterlife and looked around. Scanning the room he tried to locate Kei among the crowd. Finally he saw what appeared to be a Geth at a table with a male and female turian matching the description of Kei.
"The male turian must be part of the team working to get Kei off Omega," Logan thought to himself. "She has to be one hell of a problem if Aria is sending a team to deal with her. What the hell is the Geth doing here though?"
Walking towards the table Logan kept one hand on his pistol, ready to blow that damned synthetics head off if it tried anything. As he got closer to the table and listened into the conversation he began to let his guard down. The Geth seemed to be here on the same mission as him. Finally he arrived at the table where everyone was seated.
"Well before we get down to business we might as well have a drink," Logan said in a relaxed and charismatic tone. "Hey bartender, get us three of your strongest and uh, I don't know, some motor oil for this guy," Logan says as he points toward the Geth.
Logan let out a little chuckle at his own joke. He then turned to Kei and introduced himself, reaching his hand out for a handshake.
"You must be Kei," Logan said calmly. "I'm Logan Hunter."
OOC Notes
“I’m thankful that you decided to help me. I was about to go back to Aria soon and threaten her again.” Kei said, relieved that she now had someone to take her out of here.
She felt a little bit relaxed now and she wished she wasn’t so angry before. Kei looked at Inoc and smiled. She walked past him like a cat, with her hips swaying as she did so. Even though her armor didn’t seem feminine, her body made up for it all with her movements. She was graceful as she walked and had a certain air about her now that seemed to have removed all of her tention.
As Kei was about to leave the VIP section with Inoc, something happened that she did not intend. She seemed to notice a Geth in the VIP section, making her stop in her tracks. But she dismissed it. She was about to start walking again when a Geth approached seemingly from out of no were.
The Geth’s so called face moved, its side plating on its head opening and closing as it spoke, “Kei-Spectre. I am called Ghost and have been tasked in helping you in your mission.”
Kei seemed to tense as it spoke. She really didn’t like Geth, but she wondered why it would be in a place like this. No one liked Geth and even she had no love for them. She pulled out her pistol and pointed it at the Geth’s head… or was it its eye? She didn’t care.
“What is a Geth doing on Omega? I should kill you and salvage your parts for information!” Kei paused, finally calculating what Ghost had said before.
“…you’re here to help me?” she said hesitantly. Kei gave a questioning look and looked the Geth over.
“Fine.” She added, putting her pistol back in its place on the side of her suit. “I’ll take you in as a hostage as long as you do not resist.”
"Well before we get down to business we might as well have a drink," a human interrupted in a relaxed and charismatic tone. He must have been standing there and watching her confrontation with the Geth called Ghost.
Kei quickly turned her head and glared at him.
This is going to be annoying… how many people are there looking for me?! And what does this human mean about “before we get down to business”… and drinks first? she clenched her right hand into a fist.
The human turned and motioned to the Bartender near by. The Bartender was human, and he was always watchful in the VIP section. So of course he took notice of everyone who came in.
"Hey bartender, get us three of your strongest and uh, I don't know, some motor oil for this guy," the human pointed toward the Geth.
The human even let out a little chuckle at his own joke. He then turned to Kei and introduced himself, reaching his hand out for a handshake.
"You must be Kei," he said calmly. "I'm Logan Hunter."
Kei only crossed her arms and refused to take his hand. “I’ll pass, thank you, human.” She said dangerously.
She could feel her anger returning now the more she looked at Logan. She looked him over and assessed his potential. Her eyes seemed to meet his, and that’s when she glared at him. Her human neon green eyes locked on to his own human eyes. Kei’s mandibles parted and closed. It was a sign of tension again. She couldn’t help it, whenever she saw a human she kind of saw herself in a way. It was one reason why she always covered a mirror after she was done using it. Being human was something she didn’t like as so she took it out of other humans with out noticing. This time, however, she noticed and she seemed to despise humanity for it had something to do with the way she was.
“Inoc and I are off to see Aria T’Loak about payment. I have taken a Geth in as a hostage and I will need to interrogate him for information. What can you offer me human? Don’t tell me Aria sent you too. Otherwise I’m going to have a different kind of talk with her. And I sure as hell don’t like surprises anymore.” Kei said angrily. She then turned to Inoc and said, “Is there anyone else I should be aware of?”
Kei was more tense than usual and it was because of the human named Logan. She didn’t trust humans, after all, how could she say out right that it was them who gave her human eyes on a Turian face? How could she tell them it was their fault that they let a little Turian female child be subject to… to… she couldn’t remember.
Kei paused and her gaze fell to the floor as she was deep in thought.
Why can’t I remember? I guess I have never really thought about it at all… all I know is that it’s because of humans that I look the way I look. Because of an organization called Cerberus… it was humans who did this to my body. Maybe this human might know about Cerberus. Best to wait until he’s on my ship I guess. Seems like Aria recruited him for me.
Kei looked back up and took one last look at Logan. Her eyes were filled with anger but she gave him a look that was also filled with mistrust.
OOC Notes
Fantastic, Logan thought to himself. What the hell is her problem? I mean I tried to be nice and friendly and it didn't work, she definitely has issues and what is going on with those eyes.
Kei glared at Logan before finally speaking to him again.
Seriously, what is her problem. I guess the old fashioned charm isn't going to work on her, she should just feel damn lucky Aria didn't have her killed.
"Listen," Logan said, clearly frustrated. "You were on the list of jobs from Aria and this was the only job that didn't have me working with scumbags like mercs or slavers. I have extensive training in both combat and small unit and strike team tactics, plus I'm former Alliance man, so I can take an order. I just want off this rock so I can get somewhere where I can do some good in the galaxy and Aria is paying me to help you so that is what I'm going to do. Deal with it."
Logan was sure that if Kei wasn't pissed at him before she would be now.
"Now tell me what you guys have figured out so far."
Logan said those words as firm and confident as he could, hoping to gain control of the situation.
OOC Notes
As they walked across the VIP section Inoc's face was emotionless even under his helmet. There was just a cold analytic gaze picking apart the crowd for potential hostiles. Inoc's vigilance helped him out in the end when he saw a Geth enter the VIP lounge of Omega. What was a Geth doing on Omega? Inoc thought as his hand went to his heavy pistol. Though Inoc's question was answered by his own logic. It would make no difference if the Geth had evil intent, Omega was the land without law, according to his fellow Turians any-way. The Geth walked towards them without any deviation, still pointing to the fact that this Geth had either come for Inoc, or Kei.
What resembled the Geth’s face moved, its facial plating rippling mechanically as it spoke, “Kei-Spectre. I am called Ghost and have been tasked in helping you in your mission.”
Inoc's gun was drawn now, ready to shoot the Geth in the joints of his arms. That is if the Geth proved hostile. Inoc didn't have much experience fighting Geth, though he assumed a high velocity projectile fired at a joint in one of the Geth's limbs would sever it completely off, or at least it would render the selected limb useless. Inoc's breathing was calm, and his hands were steady. The cold paradox the hands of a soldier contained.
Inoc kept his gun up for a while longer until Kei had holstered hers. Inoc matched her movements exactly, and put his sidearm away almost as soon as she did. His hands were slack, again ready to use his biotics if necessary.
Moments later a human casually walked up to the trio of figures standing near the exit to after life's VIP section. Though almost as soon as the Human started talking Kei's anger started to take a turn for the worse. Inoc simply stood at Kei's side waiting for the situation to be resolved.
The human continued to order some drinks for the three, almost as if they weren't complete strangers. This confused Inoc slightly. He had never bought an item for a complete stranger before. This concept was lost on him completely.
The human known as Logan Hunter, introduced himself as such. He held out his hand to Kei in the form of a greeting. However she was quick to cross her arms rejecting the greeting, while also reinforcing Inoc suspicions that she disliked the human race, some Turians did, some Turians didn't; Inoc got used to this whole concept, and tried to ignore the bad blood between Humans, and Turians alike.
Inoc pondered on her question, and answered shorty afterward.
"There is a good chance more people will show up." Inoc toned in.
When Logan began to speak again Inoc winced when he said the phrase 'deal with it'-- This wasn't going to end very well. Inoc wasn't used to being around speech so direct as this. He was used to talking to someone in a style that wouldn't make him come off as direct, or confronting in any way.
Inoc spoke up calmly. "This is Kei's operation Hunter, she makes the orders, not you." He made sure Logan understood this. Inoc wasn't looking for trouble, but if Logan was going to try and use such direct speech, Inoc felt it wouldn't hurt to remind him that Kei was the one calling the shots.

Re: [OOC] Mass Effect: Revenge of the Soldiers
Re: [OOC] Mass Effect: Revenge of the Soldiers
i write like i'm writing a book. i only write what my character says and does. if you have to assume an action for my character, don't. chances are i didn't write it becuase my character really isn't doing what ever action you think she might be doing. its why i write the way i do. and if you have checked out the links i left on the OOC Thread then you would know that i simply do not write one word RP posts. its how this RP should be looking and i hate to say but if you don't like the way i ask for people to write then leave. writing this RP as if its like a book will make it more interesting and fun to write in. it sounds to me like some people are getting fed up with the way i ask them over and over again to write. this RP is to improove writing and have a fun time.
i am leaving one warning that if you do not follow the rules i will pull those who aren't following them off of the RP. sounds mean, but i can not stress the rules any more than i have. you will have more fun if i don't have to send you PM's about your posts needing some more umph in them. again i am leaving a link to a model post. this link is an actual example of my personal RP work.
http://kaotherworld.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6474
again, all posts don't have to be this long as the modeled linked one, but i have added a rule that states that posts must have at least 2-3 paragraphs.
Re: [OOC] Mass Effect: Revenge of the Soldiers
i am also trying to take up a 3rd job since school has been biting my wallet badly. don't worry, the RP won't die if someone doesn't post for a couple of days. all of you will just have to be patient. we are actually waiting on Logan since he needs to get his butt over to were we are with Joy. i thought it was Joy at 1st, but i double checked and realised it was Logan. i did post up my post however. Logan is free to post after me in order to catch up.
i have been on all morning trying to sort all of this out and post. i work on this RP in my spare time and i have created the rules for a huge reason. sorry, but i stick by them.
also wanted to mention that i have created plot characters. they are all laybeled with NPC in their fast description titles. if any one has a plot character in mind for their own character's Storyline let me know and run it by me. i will allow you to create one more character but as a plot character and it must have NPC in the fast description in order for us to see that it isn't your main character that you use. i will be making some more in the future but as the SL goes along. please keep yourself updated as to whats posted up on this OOC Thread. it better than me sending all of you individual PM's saying the same thing.

we all have lives outside the RP and i have school mon-fri. and i am in college. there might be days were even i can't go online for the sake of hw. some of us might be in college as well, but we are all definately in school right? its unfair when someone can't post becuase some one else decided to skip them becuase they didn't post under X hours. the RP will spin out of control. trust me.
