This was all a big mess. In fact, it was a freaking wreck. It would just never stop. Things like this would always happen. No matter how much changed in the world. There would always be crime. If there wasn’t any crime in the world, Fuji would be out of a job and wouldn’t be able to realize his dream.

Crime was what Fuji thrived for. It was the air he breathed and his favorite sport to talk about with the guys back in the office. It was such an amazing adrenaline rush that ran through his body. Those were the moments when he could be put on the spot for a case. It was like the most wonderful thing in the world to solve such crimes. He was like a hero for his work, avenging those who had been killed, or stopping those who've done wrong. That’s why he loved crime so much, because he wanted to be the one to stop it!

Fuji was in his vehicle. He was on his way to report in to the station. A recent case had come up and he was asked to investigate. A man by the name of Ichiro Matsuda had been murdered in his home at a local residential district in the city. Apparently he was studying to be a college professor, yet he owed a lot of money for student loans and he blew a lot of it off on gambling. Debts eventually pile up and you end up paying one way or another.

Well, it was Saturday. That was good. There were four suspects involved with the case;

Aria Freewall, a teacher at one of the best high schools in Japan.
Eri Amaterasu, a student at the same high school the previous suspect works at. Aria is Eri’s teacher for fifth.
Yasura Cruz, an old colleague from of Ichiro’s from back in high school.
Midori Tant, a local ramen shop owner. Ichiro had been a regular there from time to time as he got lunch between classes.

Because it was Saturday, Fuji could set up time to speak with each suspect at least once between the two days, any way he’d like. They’d all gotten letters in the mail about this and were all informed to report to the station sometime between the two days. If they didn’t, they’d be tracked down to their normal areas of association. If they weren’t there, they’d be hunted down.

Now, this was all fine and dandy. Everything worked out, except… Fuji was to be assigned a partner. That wasn’t something Fuji liked, unless he got to investigate with an old colleague of his. But this guy, he didn’t know anything about this person he was supposed to be partnered with. He didn’t even really know if it was a man at all! They just said he’d be working with someone, and that didn’t settle.

Fuji pulled up to the station. He stepped out of the car and glanced at the building. He let out a sigh and tried to relax. “Oh well, better get this over with,” he said to himself as he walked inside.

Cynoc put out the cigarette on the edge of the ash tray and dropped the butt inside. He straightened out his back, feeling a yawn bubbling up inside of him as he did so. He fought the urge, took a deep breath, and walked around the corner.

Today was his first day here at this branch of the Tokyo Police Department. Tired of his old life as a routine cop, he had changed his life around completely, moving to the other side of the city and switching his profession to private investigator. He had been here the day before, getting his office situated. His half of the office, to be a little more accurate. He would be sharing it with another private investigator named Fuji Inoue. He had also been informed that he would have his first assignment today. He would be going along with Fuji to investigate a murder. He wasn't sure of the details yet, but after he got in there and met this Fuji and got to check his files he would know everything he would need to get things started.

He walked in through the front doors, noting the nice change in temperature now that he was inside. It was a welcome change from the stale air offered just back through those double doors, on the outside. As he made his way through the precinct towards his shared office, he scanned the halls and faces and desks like he had yesterday. It was a habit of his to make mental maps and pictures of people and places, especially where he frequented. In time, he would know this place and it's people quite well. He just wanted that time to come sooner rather then later.

Finally coming up to the door that led into his shared office, he knocked uncertainly. It was now half his office, but if Fuji and/or someone else was inside, he didn't want to make a rude first impression. There was no answer, so he opened the door and poked his head inside, "Fuji-san?" Cynoc asked uncertainly. The room was empty, so Cynoc let himself in. He took off his jacket and hung it up on the coat rack near the door. Cynoc shut the door and made his way over to his desk and sat down, looking at his setup from the day before. It felt good being in a familiar setting in the midst of all these new things. It was time to work now though, so Cynoc started checking around for the case files.

::Sitting in his familiar chair at that familiar desk, he would have a pen in his hand as he would be writing down on papers, some were signed, some were to write down information. All the same, he was working quite hard today as he had to do alot since he broke offical property just two days ago and now he had alot to sign for before he could make up for it, it was such a drag. But he could only sigh and wipe his forehead as he had to come in early today just to get half of this stuff done and sent to the big man himself so he could apologize for those things and then go home and take a nap::

::The thing is, this wasn't the first time he had broken something here. Ever since he had joined this place, he had been nothing but a terrible mistake and a wreck to the entire team. Although they didn't hate him, they sure could be annoyed at him for being an idiot and making them all look like they couldn't do the jobs seriously. He hated it sometimes, he didn't like the fact that he was the screw up always and had to be blamed all the time for his own mistakes. Although he did know one thing, he was going to make up for it and he was going to do it with a big smile on his face that would make everyone all out of there seats with mouths open and eyes wide open! That was how he liked it, and that was his little secret too::

::Now the thing was, he had also heard about the recent murder and knew two guys got assigned to it, just another reason to bug two more people I suppose, he thought to himself. Although, now that he thought about it, he wondered who could of killed a person, taken a life off this world and not feel guilty about it at all. That was what made him mad inside, how he loathed people who took others lives and never really gave a darn about it. But then again, beneath all this there was a strange feeling of warmth he hadn't felt in a really long time and he almost smiled at it, but kept his serious look and kept on writing, hoping that with these turned in and everything out and done, perhaps he could talk to some people and see how he could get involved with the current murder going on::

Midori stood behind the counter of her little shop, eyes wide in surprise. In her limp hands was a letter from one, Fuji Inoue. She brushed a blonde strand out of her eyes, "Murder suspect," she murmured, trying the words out. It sounded so wrong! Looking down at her uniform she sighed, "this just doesn't seem right," she muttered. Straightening up she sighed, walking to the door she pulled it open and flipped over the closed sign. I'll go tomorrow or later tonight, she thought to herself. Looking around her little shop she had chosen black as the decorations today, as mourning for the loss of a patron and the prospect of being accused as a murderer. Shaking her head, she brushed the loose strands out of her face and smiled, no point making everyone else upset she thought, taking a seat behind the counter.

It was by the time she got to the school when she saw the letter. She had arranged for some of the students to meet her there to get some good freash air and play around a bit. Even though it was highschool it was still good to let loose once and awhile. She did this with her students alot so they had a chance to socialize. "Ayieee!!!!" She screeched reading the words on the paper. She blushed slightly and shoved the letter in her pocket the kids laughing at her sudden outburst. "Oy oy I brought the soccor balls so shall we get started?" She faked her composure wanting to know why she was a murder suspect. She didn't understand it. She tossed the soccor ball up and kicked it into the field, her students started running for it and Ari wasn't far behind keeping up with them. She smiled softly and stole the ball for her team and passed it, after awhile of playing he stopped. "Well Kids you'll have to continue without me. I have some work to do today."

She smiled softly and walked home leaving the kids to the game. When she got home she tossed her athletic clothes aside and grabbed her usual blue and grey outfit before she went and took a shower. Changing into the clean clothes she tied her hair up and streched slightly. "What happened...." She mumbled softly and walked toward the door grabbing her purse slipping on her shoes walking out of her apartment and down the steps quietly.

Yasura stood near the window of the cafe' and continued staring out of it. He didn't know why or how, but he had been suspected of a crime, a murder at that. Him of all people! Yasura was a known christian, and a really good person and former colleauge of the murder victim. Perhaps that is why he was suspected. Even if he is a christian...there are those that claim to be holy but then are full of holes. So, he will show up for interrogation soon, and get it over with. He will pray to Yahweh to help him through this...tribulation.

Eri, late for school now, sat at home with a letter in her shaking hands. Somehow, without much reason behind it, she had been suspected of a murder. The victim was that horrible man father used to hang out with. Hmm... Perhaps that was why?

"What is that Eri?"

The small, dark-haired female looked back at her mother. The woman staring at her had dark brown hair and stood at about 5 feet 7 inches tall, her blue eyes staring into Eri's. "Mom... I've been suspected of Murder."

"What?! Why?" Her mother yelled, taking the paper and putting it close to her face, crinkling it with her grip. "This is not possible. You couldn't hurt a fly!" She said with worry, glancing at her daughter. "Don't worry baby, we'll fix this." She said, petting Eri's head. "We'll figure this out." She then went off to the phone, calling into the police station to rant to them about how it was impossible that Eri would do such a thing. Eri just looked away, leaning back in her chair. Why did they suspect her? Did she do anything to prove she was guilty of such a heinous crime? She looked at her hand. This wouldn't last long. She was innocent, so she wouldn't be put in jail. Everything will turn out how it's supposed to. "... But what if..." She mumbled, pausing and shaking her head. "No. I'll be okay." She whispered, gripping her hand into a fist and leaning back even more, sliding down. "... I hope."
