"So this is the Devil of the Nazcrut..." one of the pilots said, making sure he was off the channel connected to Gregor's mech--he could only imagine what would happen if he used the nickname around Gregor.
"Sir, more Ignat mechs could be on their way," the other pilot remarked over the channel. "Should we not leave while we can?"
"Leave?" Gregor's harsh voice issued over the channel, causing the rookiee pilot to jump in his seat. The Nagato turned to the rookiee's mech, and it towered over the rookiee's mech like a vicious panther compared to a timid mouse. Barely audibly, the rookiee whimpered slightly. "Leave now? When we have the enemy coming to our welcoming arms?" Gregor slammed a fist on his seat arm. "I will remain here." The Nagato turned back now to the narrow pass where the first unfortuante strike team had tried to pass through. "Let them come. Hopefully, there will be an ace among them. Are there no skilled pilots amongst the Ignat rabble? I tire of crushing these useless fools without contest."

Within moments he came within sight of three Nazcrut's mechs. "There they are men. They are the one's who destroyed our comrades." He said, hovering in the air above the battlefield. He then flipped on the channel that the the enemy mechs were on. "I will ask once. Will you surrender... Or shall we take the hard road?" He asked. As he asked he sighted in his scopes on the larger mech that was clearly the leader. Through the scope he spotted out multiple weapons.
Ken spat. Such weight had to slow the mech down.

He was now just in front of the speaker's mech. The heavy arm of the Nagato flew at the mech's head, and its hand enclosed its fingers around its head. He would crush it as easily as he had crushed the last herd of useless, unskilled fools. Depending on the enemy's handling of this situation, Gregor would know whether it was an ace pilot worthy of taking the time to battle--or worthless rabble to be crushed brutally.
As he began to apply pressure to the enemy mech's head, he spoke into their channel.
"Ignat scum," he spat. "Are you as pathetic as the last weasels your amusingly powerless faction decided to send into my waiting arms?"

Who was he to come into the air and challenge him in his territory?
OOC Notes
Hmm, an Ignat ambush? Their tactics have clearly refined.
Just then, the other mech pilot said three words. Three words which gave away his preparation to attack, and allowed Gregor time to plan his counterattack.
As the foot's flames scorched at the Nagato, its armour prevented any major damage. Its massive verniers roared to life, and a huge tongue of flame burst from them.
"You two may provide some entertainment," he laughed harshly over the channel. He flew back at Justice, slamming the huge bulk of the Nagato into it. Then, using the momentum gained from his first vicious attack, Gregor grabbed the enemy, and then, putting it between himself and the ground, blasted his mech into the ground, its weight pushing against Justice, pinned now to the ground.
"Well, you two appear to be of a different class than the usual Ignat insects," Gregor said as he pressed down on Justice. "But I'll still crush you like ants."
((I must ask that I don't get completely annihilated by five different mechs @_@ Given that Gregor is an ace and he has a good mech...he should at least be able to hold them off.))
OOC Notes
ooc: Then we wont annihilate you, but because its two against one i think we should defeat you in this battle.

He wanted this one to himself. As he was pinned to the ground, Ken flicked a couple of buttons and the Laser sword flew to life again, slashing at the enemy mech's head wildly. As he was slashing, he pressed all of his boosters to max. His boosters was optimized for flight and had enough energy to propel himself and the enemy mech up into the air again.
With a final slash of his laser sword he broke his hold with the enemy mech although he was damaged himself. He immediately set the booster back to max again and he was off screaming through the air. He carried minimal weapons which allowed for increased speed and agility in the air. Satisfied with the distance between them Justice made an about face and faced the enemy mech. This was one who was not to be taken lightly.
He began his assault by sending two missiles from the pod on his shoulder towards the enemy. Following the missiles, he shot through the air behind them. Hoping the missiles would provide enough of a distraction he angled his flight so that his bladed wings would cut through the enemy mech.
He never heard or was even aware of the other mech on the field. He was concentrated on the one who challenged him.
((I tried to give a reason so the couple Ken flew in with won't interfere.))

"You called me..." he began in a deadly snarl. The Ignat he had pinned to the ground then began his attack, and Gregor pulled up from the ground swiftly. The frontal armour of the Nagato had been damaged, and the Justice had flown into the air, but Gregor was no longer concerned with it, blinded by his rage. All he saw was Cobo in front of him.
With a great hiss, the verniers on the Nagato's back activated, and the huge mech launched at Cobo. From the mech and into the channel issued a snarl that would frighten the boldest of heroes. It wasn't just angry; it was the sound of someone who was downright furious.
As the missiles flew after the Nagato, and Gregor approached Cobo, he pulled up, and the great machine took to the air, allowing the missiles to continue at Cobo. Then, landing back to the ground, ignoring the slight damage the Nagato had sustained to the front, Gregor went absolutely insane on Cobo. He grabbed the arm of his mech, and with another snarl, snapped the Nagato's hand away, which should have ripped the mech's arm off.
Acting on the momentum gained from this, Gregor then activated the two particle cannons in his chest; if the pilot wasn't quick enough, his mech would have two huge holes punched through them.
"I...will destroy you...as utterly as I crushed your Zelphune vermin kinsman!" He snarled viciously.
((Sure, he'll eventually retreat after enough damage is done))

"Idiot!" Gregor cackled mockingly. "You're as pitiful as your brother! Will you beg for mercy, as he did before I annihilated his filthy Zelphune body? He was so pathetic, I removed him from his worthless existence in a few moments!"
Gregor continued to laugh, delighting in the pain and fury he was causing his opponent. However, he had called Gregor the Devil of the Nazcrut...stirring up those memories...
The Nagato was damaged, but he wasn't done yet. He knew he would have to retreat, and was absolutely furious at it. But he would not leave without a parting attack.
He dashed at Cobo, and placed one hand on the Uthriel's head, and then activated the two particle cannons in the Nagato's chest; punching two holes in the Uthriel at point blank range. He then tugged his hand up, planning to rip the mech's head from its body.
Without bothering to turn around to see what devastation he wreaked, Gregor launched into the air. His decision to leave a parting blow had cost the Nagato more damage, and he knew he would have to get it repaired. He cursed the pilot, cursed the world as he had done so many times, and then with a new vehemence cursed the Zelphune for condemning him to this sort of life. These were the thoughts that passed through his head as he watched the battlefield disappear into the distance, his mech giving off a bit of smoke.
OOC Notes
At intermediate range like that, it was accurate enough to shoot the cockpit, although he had to take aim and fire slowly. At closer range, he could just use it as a regular assault rifle. Ken realized that the enemy had began to yank the arm off of the allied mech. He quickly aimed so the mech wouldn't be absolutely obliterated. Before he could get off a shot, the allied mech heavily assaulted the enemy, but Justice kept steady aim. Even after the blasts and smoke puffed up, Justice kept steady aim. He waited til the smoke cleared to pull the trigger.
Ken was oblivious to the damage of Justice. One of the mech's bladed wings was sheared off a bit at the top, while the other was bent at an odd angle. The visor-eyes of the mech head had cracks all along them and it had clear imprints of a mammoth sized hand. Even the chest piece had deep criss-crossing scratches from when the pilot had pushed him into the ground.
Then he saw the mech explode into the air and begin to retreat the battlefield. Ken quickly pulled the trigger and three shots rang out and sped towards the mech. He wasn't going to leave without a present from Justice and Ken
((Sorry, I realized I didn't talk much about the damage justice had sustained))

"Take me on on your own, you filthy cowards!" he snapped back at them before distance cut him off from the channel.
However, one of them was now pursuing him.
"You fool..." he said in a voice that seemed furious at first. However, it was full of glee. "You fool!"
Now, one on one, was where he would force this pilot to regret his actions. His Uthriel was faring surpisingly well, but the Nagato was massive, and its armour was the most advanced of the day.
The Nagato turned around at blinding speed. Within a second it had launched back into the Uthriel.
"Your brother was as much a moron as you are!" Gregor laughed as the Nagato's powerful fists pummeled into Uthriel. He attacked over and over again. "You may not be the Zelphune insect he was, but I'll squash you out just as I stepped out his pathetic, worthless life!"
He concluded his attack by turning the Nagato around, and allowing the massive flames pouring from the huge verniers in its back to envelop the Uthriel.
"Be extinguished, just as your useless brother was, worm," Gregor hissed as the Nagato began to fly off again. "It's the best thing you can do for this idiotic world."
The Nagato had taken good damage. The chest had taken scars from the Justice's laser blade, and the arms had taken similar damage. In the back, bullets decorated the Nagato's back torso. He would have to get it repaired for the first time...haha. This is what he had asked for. Something more to vent his endless rage and misery into. At least, until he finally did destroy those two pilots.
((If this continues, one of us will have to die, which is probably not desirable this early...so both of us can retreat, badly damaged, or however you want to do it.)

He lowered behind the heavily damaged mech. "Easy there friend. There will always be tomorrow. Today is for repairs." He said placing Justice's hand on the mech's shoulder. The cockpit then opened up and the soldier inside fell out. "Comrades." he said calling those who came with him. There was only one left but and was heavily damaged, but would have to do.
"Soldier. Grab the fellow's mech, I'll take him myself." He said as he picked up the soldier on the ground and placed him inside his cockpit. While it was a tight fit, it would have to do. He didn't trust his comrade for this.
And then they were off in the opposite direction from the other enemy mech. After burner's finally kicked in and he was off at a extreme pace, pushing the mech. He knew it wouldn't fail on him. It never did and he trusted it more than some fellow soldiers.
OOC Notes
"Sir, Lieutenant General Gregor has returned to base!"
"Hmm?!" The Major turned to the soldier who had just come up to him. "Gregor alone? That's not a surpise, really..."
"His mech is badly damaged. He wants the repair shops prepared immediately. This has never happened before...to think the Devil of the Nazcrut would need repairs..."
"Don't say that to his face," warned the Major darkly--he had seen the fate of the last soldier to make that fatal mistake. "Prepare the shops. I want every resource prepared to repair his mech."
Gregor piloted the Nagato onto the landing area of the base. It lay just nearby a Ignat town, and it was the site of many Ignat-Nazcrut battles. And this was where he was now forced to remain by the higher-ups, despite his desires to transfer to the Zelphune-Nazcrut front. Dammit, when would he get his vengeance? Crushing the Zelphune brother of that pilot had barely slaked his thirst for Zelphune blood. They had taken his last chance at a happy life, destroyed all he had built for himself and those he had loved...taken away his ability to love.
He opened the cockpit and walked out, limping slightly--his cane had been destroyed in the battle. He felt a slight pain in his head, but he would certainly live. Even at his age, he really wasn't worried about dying in battle...more like he didn't care if he did.
A soldier ran up to him.
"Lieutenant General sir!" he snapped into salute. "Thank god you're here! Now that you, the greatest warrior of the Nazcrut, are here, the Ignat will..."
He cut off nervously as Gregor glared at the soldier, clearly irritated.
"er..."
"I want the Nagato taken into the repair shops immediately." Gregor snarled as he began limping off again. He turned back to the soldier, who was staring dumbfounded.
"NOW!"
"Yes sir!" the soldier yelled and positively ran as though for his life to inform the repair shops of their new job.
Those two... he thought to himself. I'll crush them soon enough.
"Lieutenant General Berthold Gregor...of course, I know who you are."
The Colonel looked up and down at Gregor, who stood glaring back at him. He had heard much of this man, tales of destruction and blood. He also had heard that he didn't have much, if any, respect for those above him. In fact, if he hadn't been so valuable, he may have been dismissed for disrespecting a superior officer. That was probably all that prevented Gregor from taking the Colonel's rank himself.
"You have new orders. The Ignat-Nazcrut front is waning, at least in your sector. You are needed elsewhere. I'm stationing you at Zuven Vulf, on the Nazcrut-Zelphune front."
Gregor stared at the Colonel. Was he finally getting his chance? He would not, of course, show it here, but a great triumph was spinning through Gregor.
"Your orders will be given when you get there. Are you sure you don't need to get to the medical office? I understand you and your mech took quite a--"
"There's no need," Gregor smirked as he turned to leave the Colonel's lounge. "I'll just crush all those Zelphune vermin as they try to take us on."
He left, leaving the Colonel to stare at the now shut door.
((If you want to continue the Gregor-Cobo/Ken rivalry, you can transfer to the Zelphune front if you want :/ Just so you know, I don't want to sound like I'm telling you what to RP, just throwing out suggestions))

Later, near the Ignat base a call rang in Justice's cockpit. "Lieutenant Ken of ZGMF, Justice one. You are cleared to land in the repair bay. Who's mech is being carried by one of your subordinates? Over." Ken replied, "A friend who helped out. Without him I wouldn't be in such a good shape." Almost on cue, the boosters whirred and sputtered.
Ken slowly Piloted Justice into the open repair bay and opened the cockpit. He placed the soldier's arm around his neck and helped him out of the cockpit with him. Ken's arms and legs felt weak because of the pressure that was exerted on Justice's head during the skirmish. At any rate, he made his way to the med wing where he sat the soldier down on a bed. He himself then sat on the adjacent bed. A mechanic arrived and asked Ken what would he like done to Justice. "Resupply the ammo. Fix up the boosters, damage to the chasis and head, and repair the rifle. It might have some damage when I dropped it. I will test the flight capabilities after you are done and do the tweaking myself," The mechanic nodded and went to begin repairs.
He then turned his attention to the unlikely ally. "So soldier, what's your name. And why would you jump into a fight that wasn't yours?" He asked.

"Er, just what it says...the Colonel hereby places Lieutenant General Berthold Gregor in command of Zuven Vulf Fortress. He's arriving now as we speak."
"How could...why..." the Lieutenant Major was so angry he couldn't even manage to formulate words. At that moment, however, the door flew open, and Lieutenant General Gregor himself walked in. Even now, not on duty, he wore his military uniform.
"Good evening, Lieutenant Major Reivel," he said, almost conversationally. It wasn't typical of Gregor to deal with pleasantries.
"Lieutenant General Gregor...sir," Reivel spat, reluctantly adding the title at the end. "I just got note of your arrival."
"I saw no reason to send the notice until I was just about to arrive," Gregor said as he paced around the seated Reivel. Reivel kept his eyes forward, trying to look less nervous than he was. Now that he confronted Gregor, the infamous 'Devil of the Nazcrut', he was less confident. "However, Zuven Vulf is mine now, and that sends the clear message that you performed inefficiently. The Zelphune filth has not yet been cleaned from this area--that task is now mine, and I will carry it out with the skill you apparently lack. You are dismissed, Lieutenant Major Reivel."
Without getting a chance to put in so much as a word, Reivel felt himself stand and leave without a word.
"Well."
Gregor sat down in Reivel's comfortable chair at his desk.
"I daresay it is time we wiped the Zelphune vermin from Zuven Vulf; this will be an easy task, I'm sure. Prepare to move out soon--we will crush them out as soon as possible."
Gregor grinned. And hopefully, I'll get another chance with those two pilots...
Soon, news had spread across the region, and to Zelphune ears--Berthold Gregor was now the commander of Zuven Vulf Fortress. The news spread like wilfire from the Nazcrut, to the Zelphune, to the Ignat, and beyond. Gregor didn't care; now that he was fighting the Zelphune, he cared of nothing else.
OOC Notes
"We will repair your Uthriel. Do not worry about putting us out any, we are a hard working nation. We can build the resources back up. Plus," Ken continued, making his way to the opposite side of the room. Clearly, he was one who couldn't stand still long. "If someone fights Nazcrut, then we would want them at full operating power. Indirectly, you are helping us out fighting those bastards." He explained.
He then glanced back at the soldier. "And you would be broken down in the middle of the battlefield with a half-working mech if not for me. Beside, I was doing just fine when you came along." He said with a smirk. The battle hadn't dampened his sense of humor.
He again made his way to a bed and sat down. He began to think about what could he add to his Mech to increase it's offensive capability... "Perhaps I should install a higher caliber sniper rifle..." He rambled to himself.
