Description
SIMON RAYA MASALSKY
Character - GenderMaleAge18Personality Simon is a difficult character. He's a classical sociopath in so many ways, despite not being what the media would like you to believe a sociopath is. He's not completely void of emotion, but whatever emotion he does have is dulled down, and he goes around with a constant feel of emptiness that annoys him greatly. In order to avoid this, he likes to keep himself occupied, and has been able to acquire a few skills as a result. He can be rude, is low on anything called empathy or sympathy, but he also seems to have a genuine interest for those who aren't like him, and is willing to learn. He is quite socially awkward, not always knowing the difference between "not good" and "acceptable", and other things that will be revealed further in the RP.
His paranoia isn't immediately visible, and is mostly expressed through minor comments or actions. For example, he eats very little, as he's sure his food has been poisoned. If he eats little, then there's less of the poison in his system, giving him more time to track down the killer. He sleeps very little, as anyone may enter his room at any time. And, of course, he's very careful with what information others are allowed to know.Brief DescriptionStanding at a reasonable size above the ground, Simon might be intimidating, were it not for his otherwise lanky appearance. His eyes are blue-grey and and his face mostly bears an arrogant expression. His hair is a black mess that's been forced into an acceptable style. He's quite attractive, with prominent cheekbones and a mostly clean-shaven chin. Disorder Borderline Personality Disorder, showing slight signs of paranoid schizophrenic.Family Simon has a mother, a father, and an older brother. His older brother, though clearly showing signs of the same disorder as him, is only mentioned as a very powerful man. His family is originally British, and quite wealthy. It has been long since they've ever been capable of really calling themselves a proper family, though. Nobody's quite sure where the head of the family, the father, has disappeared to. While his brother remains the family's public face and takes care of business, Simon's mother slowly descends into alcoholism, no longer kept safe by her expensive dresses and materialism. How They got here Simon has always been an arrogant and strange person, but nobody has ever been physically hurt by it, part from himself. As his self-destructive tendencies slowly became worse, his mother got worried. One frightening night that Simon is very reluctant to discuss, she threatened to have him orphaned. When faced with the prospect of losing his mother, he attempted to drown her in the bathroom, using lye to make sure she died. The attempt was unsuccessful, as his brother came home in time to save her, having been called by the security of the building. How they got diagnosed Before he was passed on to the hospital itself, Simon was sent to a family psychiatrist, a man who'd previously diagnosed both his father and his brother. He spent a few nights at the man's home, before it was decided that he needed a more... thorough... sort of therapy. About Their DisorderSymptoms: (BDP)

and you don't think you're wrong
you're not on the list
and you're not in my songs
I did right to walk
and just leave you there
'cause no one can stand your
fear of fear
so wrong
and you still think your right
and I was too old
to pick that fight
and nothing you touched
is changed today
I broke up with you
'cause you didn't change - me
yeah!
yes it's human
it's just human
you noticed?
yeah!
you're just human
did you notice?
damn right!
