Bio/How you were admitted: Dylan's parents, rather well off and engrossed in buisness affairs, were never really by his side. As a child, he was always aware of his discontent with his gender/body. At age 8, he was taken to the hospital for a severe injury involving his private parts and a sharp object. This, however, was disregarded as a child in a dangerous, unsupervised situation. His infatuation did not stop there, and only grew as he did. He asked questions about himself that his parents were uncomfortable with answering. A new problem, however, was also beginning to rear it's head. The sight of mirrors and of any reflective surfaces threw him into a raging tantrum in department stores and at home. Instead of treating the problem houwever, his tired mother and father simply removed all mirrors and reflecting thing from the house, minus the master bath mirror.
As self loathing turned to outer loathing In high school, Dylan was in many many fights. Some were said to have been caused by reactions to Dylan's 'inappropriate actions' towards other boys. He was found on more than one occassion in his mother's clothing, and once caught sneaking out at night with a backpack of womens clothes. Under scrutiny by the public, Dylan's parents were becoming more and more worried how others would perceive their son's actions. They thought about sending him to military school.
One day at school, however, Dylan became sick, forcing him into the public restroom (which he avoided for the mirrors and confusion on which one to use). After washing up, he caught sight of his reflection in the mirror. Sent into a spiraling rampage, he destroyed all of the mirrors and most of the restroom, only to be found later, bleeding from the glass in his hands. With this last straw, his parents admitted him to Merciful Heart under the diagnosis of Gender Identity Disorder (which was considered a disease by his parents and Merciful heart) and Spectrophobia (the fear of mirrors or reflections). It was later discovered that the mirrors were not the problem, and that Dylan hallucinates he has 3 long doglike tails protruding from his back end.
