How would you feel if you found out your parents really weren't your parents? And you were really kidnapped? Now's your chance to run. Run from everything you've ever known.

Introduction

How would you feel if you found out your parents really weren't your parents? And you were really kidnapped? Now's your chance to run. Run from everything you've ever known.

There are people around the country who have been kidnapped. But, how are they to know? They were kidnapped when they were a baby. And they figured out now, that they were the victims. After they did a blood test at school. To find their blood type. Now it sinks in that you look nothing like your parents or siblings. Now's your chance to run. Before they get you. There are people after you. And they want you... bad. Because, what you will find on your race from them, is that, you were wired for the street. Street smarts and fighting tactics are a part of you. So, will you be able to survive, or will the Silhouettes get you before you can reach the safety of the Island?

Why Run?

As mentioned before, there are these people, nicknamed the Silhouette, for their tactic of never being seen, and always making the first move. And these aggressive people are after you. Why? Because they are out for your blood. Somehow, in some way, your 'adoptive' family has done something to somebody in the band of people. And they want revenge. Your 'family' has kidnapped you to add onto their cover story so a Silhouette wouldn't find them. So, you were used. And that's something you can never forget.

Silhouettes
You are after somebody and will not give up until you get blood. The people you are looking for are in between the ages of 15-19, and you want to see them dead. Maybe it's because their 'adoptive' family never paid you a lot of money back. Or maybe they hurt you in some way. Who knows? But a Silhouette has been driven to the limit and isn't afraid to kill.

The Island
This is where all kidnapped victims run to. Families who have had their babies or kids stolen from them go here in hope that they will one day run here to find them. And families who's runaways have died on the journey or captured by a Silhouette are there in hope that a parentless child will find their way to their family.

The Plot
A total of 12 teens, (6 girls, 6 boys) will figure out they were kidnapped and set out on their journey to the Island. And run from the enemies. And one night, in the woods, they will run into each other and decide to travel in their own group. Will they survive? Who knows. And maybe they will hate each other, maybe they will become friends... or worse, a bit more then friends...

"Hey!" James called over to his friend Skyler. "Pass the flippin ball!" He yelled. Skyler spiked the ball over to James and he headed it into the last and final goal. "GOAL!!!" The crowd shouted with excitement. James was swept off his feet when his team raised him up above their heads. Life was good..he couldn't complain. They carried him over to the coach... AKA his dad. "Nice job son!" He could tell his father was beaming with excitement. They dropped him down on the ground and instantly his girlfriend, Logan, ran over to him and gave him a long, passionate kiss. "Nice Job James" She winked. "See yoou tonight!" She gave him a peck on the cheek and walked back over with her friends. It couldn't get much better than this!

Sadler yawned and skated down the sidewalk, her earbuds in her ears and she hummed along lightly, as sweetly as if she were singing. She was heading towards her home, it was around three p.m. and school ended around an hour ago. her fingers thrummed rhythimically against her bookbag which was slung lazily over one shoulder. Cars rushed by, and she watched, her clever, but sassy deep brown eyes brightly watching around her. She kicked again on her skateboard and lightly hopped over a crevice in the sidewalk. She still hummed. You don't really see girls like her around this town. Most would freak out over breaking a nail, or stay inside all day if it was humid. Trust me, Sadler was the compete opposite.

Once she got home, she was greeted by her mom.

'Hey honey! How was school?" she asked.

Sadler smiled warmly and tossed her bookbag aside and ebraced her mom. "It was okay." she admitted.

"Any fights?" her mother asked, voice tensed.

"Nope!" Sadler chirped.

"That's my girl."

Sadler laughed and then kissed her moms cheek before heading upstairs, flopping down on ehr bed and plugged her iTouch into the dock and flipped on the song 'Remind Me'. She sang along quietly while flipping open her laptop and signing in. She had to type a book report but, decided to just search some stuff for fun.

James walked over to the locker room with his teammates. "Hey wana go hang out at my house tonight?" Connor asked him. James turned around and smirked. "Sorry bro, I have a date with Logan..." Immediately after that the locker room was filled with 'Oooooo!' and 'Lucky!' James flipped his hair and laughed. "Haha yea sorry!" He grabbed his stuff out of his locker and headed toward his car. He got to his car and noticed something wasn't right. "What the Frick?!?!" He yelled noticing his windows were cracked opened and his car was totally ruined.

"Ugh, my mom is going to MURDER me!" He uttered in frustration. He pulled out his cell phone and decided to call Sadler. "Hey" He said casually. "My..uh.. car broke down. Can you pick me up?"

A song filled the air, it was Country Must Be Country Wide. Her phone. Immediately after the third ring, she pressed the green answer button. "Hello?" she asked, her accent obviously letting her caller know that was her. "Oh, hey James!" she chirped, realizing who it was. "Yeah, sure. I'll be right over!" she told him and grabbed her keys to her small red pickup. She put the keys in the ignition and let the truck warm up, the roar of the engine turning to a steady hum. She flipped the radio to a good station and lightly sang along, making her way to the fields, which she was pretty sure he was at. Since she moved here a week ago, she's only made a couple of friends and James was on of them. She was still getting used to the whole city thing. It wasn't a big one, it was big enough to make her skirmish though. She was used to her tiny town in Tennessee.

She pulled in and rolled down the window, pulling up besides his car. "You called?" she winked with a small smile, her unusual caramel eyes bright with amusement.

James laughed while showing her perfect white teeth. "Yea! My...uh.. car is kinda..." He said looking down. Sadler looked over a giggled. "Here, I'll take you home." James hoped in the seat and pulled out his phone. He looked over at Sadler. They have been friends since it seems like forever. "Did you see me score the goal?" He asked with a gleam in his eye.

(KatieH1997- That is power-playing... you cannot control other peoples characters. You have to wait for thehir response, and Sadler actually just moved into twon a week ago so... Sorry if I don't reply right away because school is getting in the way >.< And I'm grounded...)

Sadler chuckled and shook her head. "Now now, what did you do now?" she giggled and turned the keys in the ignition, turning around so she could peer behind her as she backed up. Switching her truck back into normal gear, she had one hand on the stick shift and one on the wheel as she drove down the road, humming quietly still to the new song. Bait A Hook. Sadler yawned and stopped at a red light.

At Jame's question the blond haired girl rolled her brown eyes. "Suuure. If you say so." she winked. "Cocky as ever, eh?" she teased. She hummed along quietly once more. Then, the radio switched to commercials. And the sound of an older man filled the truck.

"Once more, there has been the signs of yet another kidnapping in Florida. Devastated parents have reported that their year old child was missing from her crib this morning. The search team has been on the move, lookin gfor any signs of suspects. But there has been no evidence."

Sadler listened sadly. This has been happening a lot lately. Well, at least that is what her mother has been telling her. Its been going along all around the country.

"thats just sad. Children that young being taken? Thats just wrong." she growled. It made her sad, but furious. She couldn't even imagine being kidnapped like that....

(It' fine. Just don't do it again please :3)

Sadler turned onto a street where James lived. She'd been down here a few times, to hang out. She sighed and stopped in front of his house. "Good luck facing the wrath of the mother. It's probably not going to just be your car's funeral." she teased and when the door opened, she lightly pushed him. "Get outta my car!" she laughed. Once he was out, Sadler waved and backed up, driving out of the neighborhood and back to her own. The southern girl hummed along to the radio, and when she pulled up in her driveway, she went through the front door.

"Back!" she announced and didn't wait for a response. She went upstairs to her room and flipped back open her new Macbook Air laptop and typed in a site address. She had to do a stupid project on law for her government class. Kill me now, she thought inwardly. She looked around and found a website. It had everything. But, it was a news site and there was a whole page full of children who were kidnapped, which the thought made her so infuriated it was scary. She looked at the list of names, ages they were taken (which surprisingly most were infants or about 3 months old), eye and hair colors, weights, and all that good stuff. Next to their name was a small picture of them, and you could see outline sketches of what they would probably look like when they were older.

After about five or ten minutes of looking at names, she came to year, 1995. She looked down the list, reading the names because that was the year she was born.

Then she came across the S's.

SA's

SAD's.

SADL's.

SADLE's.

SADLER's.

And there was only one of those. Pretty mocha, caramel eyes were widened in shock. She dropped her computer. Right there it said SADLER MICHELLE BROOKES. That couldn't be right... her last name was Foerster... not Brookes... Sadler rushed downstairs. Her mother was in her bedroom so she didn't notice Sadler. The shocked, and frightened blond haired girl rummaged through her drawers until she found what she was searching for. Photo albums. There it was. What she suspected. No baby pictures. Just when she was about 1 year and up. That didn't count as a baby picture. Sadler shook her head, squeezing her eyes shut. The outline of her older self looked surprisingly like he did now. When she was about 17 or 18. She ran upstairs, slamming her door and locking it. The first number she dialed was James. She impatiently held the phone to her ear, keeping hot tears in her eyes by squeezing them shut. She refused to believe it.

"Come on, come on..." she mumbled softly. "...pick up." also slipped from her lips. She looked up at the ceiling, not looking at the enlarged sketch of her 18 year old self. One thing she needed.... or maybe two.... evidence, and;

Matt walked down the street, cars whizzing by as he looked down, watching his feet move as they pulled him forward. Left, right, left, right... With a sigh, he looked up and rounded a corner. Just then, an old red truck drove by, and for some reason, he recognized the girl in front driving and singing along to the music. And somehow, he knew it. It was her. The one who's mother had murdered his sister, Sophia. He wanted revenge. Matthew Carlton remembered that night as clear as day...

Matthew was sitting on the couch, just watching TV when a knock on the door came. He was only 6 at the time and never knew anything about what BreAnne Foerster did. Matt got up and answered the door, his chocolate brown eyes gazing up at the strange woman. "Hello...?" he squeaked. BreAnne gave a mock sweet smile. "Hello sweetie. Is you father home?" she asked. Of course, the young child didn't suspect anything of her. "Yeah! Dad! Somebody's here to see you!" Within a few seconds he was standing by the door. At the mere sight of the brown haired woman, he froze, eyes wide. "Leave. I owe you nothing!" she yelled. The woman just chuckled and looked down. "Matthew, get out of here..." his father warned just as she began pulling something out of a handbag Matt never even realized was there. "Matthew, now!" he bellowed and he obeyed, dashing up the stairs to his room. "Sophia! Come here!" she called to his younger sister. They both went into his room. Then, a loud banging noise started, and crashing that Matt immediately knew was the fine china his mother had protected like a mother bear does her cubs. Luckily she was at work at the moment. After a few moments of silence, his bedroom door crashed open and he and his sister cried out in surprise.

"Now, sweetie," she said in a bitter-sweet voice. "...do you know where your daddy keeps his money?" she growled, grabbing Sophia out of Matthews grasp and then pulled her into a headlock. "And I'd suggest that you tell me now." Matthew shook. Of course he knew, just in case an emergency happened but vigorously shook his head no.

"N-No, I don't know!" he squeaked.

"I'll give you one more chance." she growled and tightened her grip, making Sophia scratch her captors arms. The woman pulled a gun out and place it against her temple.

"Matthew yelled and then nodded. "O-Okay! Its i-in the cookie j-jar!" he stammered. Tears rolled down his cheeks.

"Now that's a good boy." she purred, and pulled the trigger, letting the bullet fly towards his sister.

"Noooooo!" he screamed in terror, just as his sister crumpled to the floor in a lifeless heap.

Matt stopped dead in his tracks. (hahah very punny :) and his cold, furious eyes watched the truck ride by. It took all of his self-control not to chase after it and pound that girls face in for what her mother did.

Sadler screamed into her pillow loudly out of pure frustration. Why wouldn't he pick up?! The confused blond haired girl growled to herself and picked her computer back up and furiously began typing. Quickly switching to Google, her hands all but flew across the keyboard. She talked as she typed, tongue poking out of the corner of her mouth in focus. "Sadler Michelle Foerster." the only thing that came up was a link to a Facebook page, hers.

This time, she typed in Sadler Michelle Brooks.

A whole list of URLS came up. Mostly news sites with missing children names. This was not good, not good at all. Who was living in her house? Obviously that couldn't be her real mom... And of course, she didn't know what she had done. That was a while back.... Her eyes were stretched wide and she flopped back on her back on her bed, and blinked a couple times. Then she couldn't help it and tears poured down her face like an angry waterfall. Everything she has ever known, was fake. It shouldn't even be her life. She should have a different family. Maybe even a brother or sister. Then she realized something... maybe her dad wasn't dead...

Her real dad was probably still alive.
