History: Dahlia was born into nobility. Her family was one of the last remaining pure bred vampire families and they did not waive anything in flaunting it. Her mother was a young daughter of the family. While her parents were arranging a marriage with another family she absconded with a second cousin. While still purebred this was more then scandalous. When the relationship came to light with the pregnancy the family all but disowned her. The only thing stopping them was that being a high ranking noble, if this became public it would tarnish the entire family. Dahlia was quietly born in the middle of nowhere and raised as nothing better then a peasant. Her only comfort was her mother as the rest of her family spat on them. The pair was looked down on by all and they always received the worst treatment possible. This torture resulted in her first fear, the fear and dislike of vampires and herself. She slowly began to blame herself for her and her mother's position. When Dahlia was 5 her mother became very sick and passed away. It was a quite funeral, not many attended. She blamed herself for her mother's death and afterwords she was treated worse then a dog among her family. At 6 she herself fell sick. However she had began to fiddle with locks and one night broke out of her room. She overheard her grandparents talking and found out that they were poisoning her to be done with the embarrassment. Stunned she stumbled back into her room and cried for three days refusing to eat. She was becoming troublesome to the eyes of the grandparents and they resulted to enraging and drugging a werewolf, The beast was then set upon Dahlia late one night while she was out in the garden. Dahlia tried to outrun the beast but she did not get far. She made it into the forest before the beast got to her. It tackled her and with it's claws racked the right side of her face. The claw was deep and dug to the bone from forehead to chin. While it did not tear her eye out it was severely damaged it. The creature then bit her through the side of her neck and tossed her at a tree. Before it could finish her off however a hunter was attracted by the screams. He emptied a full clip from a rifle and a handgun into the beast and killed it. The hunter applied rough bandages and she was airlifted to a nearby human hospital. The doctors there worked tirelessly to save the young girls life and finally after a night long struggle they succeeded at the cost of her right eye. She would spend the next 4 months in the hospital. At first she was avoided like the plague. Her wounds were gruesome, even to the doctors. On top of this she was a vampire, it was impossible to hide this fact. The nurses would bring her both food and blood but would never talk and never be in her presence more then a few seconds. After awhile though one of the doctors finally had the courage to approach her. Dahlia was so happy for someone to talk to that she burst out crying, the doctor afterwords began to treat her like any other child and began to develop an attachment to her. He was able to find out a bit about her and her fear of being alone. After this his heart went out to the poor girl and he released her from the hospital into his care. She lived happily with him until shortly after her 7th year. Around the time he usually came home she opened the door to two policemen. She was out to the side and told that he had stopped off the highway to help a man out of a car crash when a drunk driver piled into the wreck and killed him instantly. With new tears she was sent to a small orphanage nearby. She refused to talk or even come out of her room. A week after arriving the orphanage found out that she was a vampire rather accidentally when she was hit with a volleyball in the head on the playground. She was taken to the office and one of the volunteers asked her to open her mouth so they could check for any chipped teeth. The volunteer fainted at the sight of her fangs. The orphanage knew of Mountain High Academy and of it's Night School. They enrolled her into the school and orphanage there. This will be her first year at the school and she was placed in the night school despite her protests. She is very afraid of what might happen and has requested a room by herself in the day class dorms or failing that a room to herself. She is afraid to be alone, but she is even more afraid of the night.
