Jason sat in his bed and just stared at a picture of his mom and dad, who he missed terribly. When the photo was taken they were in giant catfish form. A small yawn escaped his mouth as he heard footsteps out in the hallway. Jason was still learning how to control his powers so sometimes his body will partially switch form, and his hand burst into flames. "Crap!" He yelled and ran for the doors handle which only caused pressure on his hand making his whole hand burn. "Ow!" He screeched and changed his hand to ice form. Now that the burning subsided his hand started to get cold, to cold, frostbite cold. "Ow! Now I have a new problem!" Jason yelled and switched back to his normal hand.

Rosetta hugged her bag to her chest as she ambled down the hallway with a nervous smile on her face and her red eyes downcast onto the bag in her hands. She looked up every so often as she walked down the hall to try and find the dorm that would be her home for the next four years of her life. A hand lifted up to her neck and she scratched at the bandages subconsciously and wondered if people were staring at her and whispering rude things about like she felt they were. Just the thought made her cheeks redden and she pulled her bag up closer to her face to hide it. Rosetta hated being the only creation of Dr. Frankenstein that had lived and hated even more that she had to leave his home to go to school.
A number caught her eye and she turned to face the door that led into her room. Her smile a bit more genuine she walked into the room and shut the door behind her; leaning against it with a satisfied sigh that she was out of the public eye for a bit. She'd be able to take off her bandages once it was lights out; until then she didn't want to risk being seen with the odd coloured skin that covered her body in these places; it made her look more like what she was. A sewn together and very crude excuse for a living being. She ran a hand through her black hair and pushed away from the door deciding her bed more comfortable for the time being.

Evelyn shasayed down the hall swinging his arms in their too big sleeves at his sides and skipping without a care in the world. His blonde hair shifted in and out of his eyes as he moved his thin form down the hallways. Two white earbuds were crammed in his ears and his lips moved in synch with the music playing; as did his body occasionally. He smiled and waved at people he passed and even winked at one or two people who greeted him just as enthusiastically. For a moment he paused in the middle of the hall and swayed his hips side to side, his hands above his head and spun in a delicate circle before continuing.
His eyes shifted to the little white face of his pet Minx and beamed reaching over to scratch him under the chin. He pulled out one of the ear buds and pressed his cheek to the warm, fuzzy side of Minx's. "You and me are going to have a great time! Papa thinks he can get rid of me but Papa doesn't know that I choose to be this way," he murmured to the creature while he danced to the tune playing in his other ear.
The song finished he wrapped the cord around the little music player and stuffed it into his shorts which were hidden very well under his very large shirt. Lifting his head he began to stroll casually down the dorm hallway; or strutting if that what one would call the walk he was doing; looking for his room. "Minx! Here we are!" he exclaimed with a happy jump as he spotted his room. Without pause he botled into the room and shut the door; the creature jumping off his shoulder and landing gracefully on the bed. "I'm going to have so much fun!" Reaching into his other pocket he pulled out a lollipop and began to suck on it with an excited squeel.

Violet heard a few doors open and close it seemed her neighbors had started to settle down she smiled to herself and observed her room she had only been there a few minutes and already it was redecorated the walls had posters on them her black scythe was leaning against the wall her clothes were organized there was even a giant scratch mark but that was not Violet's fault she had summoned a spirit to help her and it was not very happy with the idea so it attacked her wall Violet did not mind every once and a while she would summon a grouchy spirit... Violet smiled finally content with her room she clapped her hands together happily and the chains from her cuffs hit together making an odd rattling sound Violet would not wear the cuffs if it was not for her dead mother so she never took them off although they often clashed with whatever she was wearing for the grim reapers daughter she was actually pretty colorful Violet opened the door of the hall way and peaked through wondering if she should present herself or wait until later...

[Tehran, Iran - Hours Ago]
The metropolis was quiet except for the whine of the transit rail train. It was a little past midnight and no women were in sight. Boo pittied the girls, but mortals were subject to a lot of that from him. Japan's my favourite, Boo remarked in compare to the fears of the cultural differrences. It was a Japanese girl who feared tentacles enough to give them life. A queer smile marred the young monster as he boarded the train alongside the other passangers.
The shadows on Boo, moving with the turning and speeding train played across him with a life of their own, forming smiling faces and crooked hands, motioning the mortals to come closer.
Across from Boo two men stared at him. For a moment the lights in the cab buzzed dead for a moment before flashing back on. The shadows had creeped down and around from Boo, as if they had crawled towards the men who were starting to push bacl against their seats, hyperventilating.
The two men were lanky and darkly tanned, dressed in suits. Business men. The older one was maybe in his thirties by Boo's estimation, sporting a navy blue suit. The other was in his early twenties and wore a dark grey suit, he also had a gold tie-clip that was engraved with the initials "I.M." in flowing handwritting.
With another light failure the shadows were on their clothes, much like an invisible stalker because the shadows were real. The two men were paralized by their fear of the dark, feeding Boo's Hunger, the part of him that recognizes fear and gives it shape.
The shadows dug talons into the thigh of the young man, but the scream was cut off by a trailing shadow hand that reached his mouth, holding the jaw firmly shut. Likewise were the men adamantly imobile by more of the groping shadow's touch. The elder man urinated himself as the annoucement indicated the next stop.
Blood was trailing down the cab, catching the attention of more passangers. The shadows were cutting shallow lines across the two men, through clothes and flesh.
The train's doors opened. It was time for Boo to go, this was his stop. He would have coffee with his pa and be sent off to Hell High where he'd be near other monsters.
[Hell High, Parallel Universe - The Present]
"Good bye mundane world, hello freak world,"
Hell High, eh? Behind Boo the hustle and bustle of the first day of school continued as if he didn't exist. He will be living there for the first years of adulthood (by modern definition, that is).
Boo was looking forward to not having his subconscious powers triggered and wreaking havoc on his fellow monster. Only phobias and tramatized monsters would trigger that inborn reaction from another monster. Humans were another story.
Boo looked out from the Summoning Platform* at the expanse of the abyss; nothing. No stars, absolutely nothing.
"Freshman, get off the platform," a deep voice said from behind Boo.
That startled Boo, but he recovered quickly, turning to both do as instructed and see who this fellow was.
"It's "Boo", not "freshman", mister monster." Boo said waving off the rude introduction by the upper-classman.
"Lippy and short." Boo didn't like Oannes. He didn't like their fishy-scale skin, their light-to-dark blue hues or their fishheads. Their mouths had trouble forming words so they usually sounded word-chopped and a deep voice.
Boo weighed his words and how to proceed. Fighting the Ocanne wouldn't be the smartest thing to do; their teeth are needle points and are physically strong from their lifestyle of swimming under the seas.
Having nothing constructive to say to Fishhead, Boo slung his bag over his shoulder and walked around Fishhead, vulgarity being shouted after Boo.
Boogey, Boo's dad, had sent essentials ahead of Boo, having movers send what was needed from the storage in Chicago, U.S.A.
Because of his fathers travelling, Boo hasn't been able to acquire personal affects for living quarters so his father had taken it on himself to choose the decour for Boo. Will Bo decorate with the paraphernalia? Probably not, at least not permanently, just temporarily.
Yup. Boo was lost, his mind was busy planning and watching how the sudent body acted much like mundane schools. It kind of disappointed Boo, he was looking forward to feeling the twilight zone effect and feel at home, more/less.
Lucky for Boo being lost is just not knowing where he was, and right next to him was a room with 266 etched into the doors wood. Boo dug the key from the bottom of his pocket and unlocked his door.
The room was alright, smaller than the room he had back when he was growing up in Chicago. Since then they haven't stayed at a place of residence, more off the grid.
The Boogeyman had packed expensive paintings, artwork, laptop computer, quilts and both formal and casual clothes along with other boxes Boo decided he would go through later. Father-son differences in fashion and design sent Boo looking for something.
Grabbing his key and day planner with all the school notes he should need, he decided to pester the dorm.
Door locked. Teeth brushed. Hallway lurking. Let's see what monster's behind door #1!
"Room inspection, open up!"Boo called, knocking on one of the five doors at random.

Evelyn looked back at the door with a curiosity that would certainly kill many cats if they were dumb enough to act on it. He smiled and grabbed a pair of black jeans, slipping them on with a huff. No one who dared knock on his door pretending to be an inspector would take advantage of the situation. Lyn raised a comb to his hair and combed it out the way he preferred it when he was the rougher side of himself. His eyes darted to the mirror he'd hung on the wall and he smiled a satisfied smile before motioning for Minx to climb onto his shoulders.
With a sigh he pulled open the door and stared at the other teen monster who'd decided to bother him so early after school hadn't even started. It bothered him and he itched for a smoke instantly. "What d'you want?" he asked flatly as he kept his odd coloured eyes on the stranger standing outside his doorway. He felt Minx bristle on his shoulders and a strange heat was radiating under his left ear. Lyn lifted a hand and gently stroked the white creature on the head while keeping his gaze on the person standing before him.
Pestering didn't bother him so much; he pestered a lot when he was his more gentle and friendly side. But when it was only moments after he had settled in it set him on edge and made him want to bite into things with his knives; which were safely packed up in his bag. "What kind of room inspector is the same age as the student eh?" He smiled a coy smile and leaned on the doorframe, his arms crossed over his chest. Lyn ignored the blonde strands of hair that fell to block his gaze and picked Minx up to hold the creature in his arms rather than the usual post on his shoulders. Minx gave him confidence that he couldn't use his hands too quickly and it was a better leaping point.

"What kind of inspector is the same as the student, eh?" The boy had a giant marshmellow perched on his shoulder looking edgy as its owner.
"The Student Council kind, freshman, of course, there are instructors who look as youthful as you and I," Boo smiled at the suspicious boy. He wasn't lying; he'd never said he was an inspector, teacher or a student council. "So how're you settling in?" Boo asked, slidding by the room owner to look around the interior. "Hmm.." Boo turned back to the stranger next door. What time do I meet the vice pres of the student council? the genuine smile never faltered while he thought about it.

Lyn glared at the boy who'd invited himself into his room and put Minx back on his shoulder; the creature was radiating more heat than before. "One, who the fuck invited you into my room? Two, it's none of your damn business and three, get out!" He jabbed a finger towards the door and resisted the urge to let Minx do with him as he pleased; not a good first starter. Evelyn didn't like the kids attitude and he didn't like the sarcasm he was recieving from the other, it angered him. The smile on the other teen's face didn't make him feel any better. "And if you don't get out I can't guarantee that you'll leave whole," he added through his teeth.
There was nothing more he wanted than to physically shove the bastard in front of him out the door and he was wondering why he wasn't. The need for a smoke grew and so did the heat bursting from the small white animal drapped over his shoulders. At the thought of the creature Minx stood up and stood in a position that would give him the perfect launch if he needed to attack the other. Lyn put a hand on its head to calm it down while he glared at the other waiting for him to get out.

Rosetta poked her head out of her door as she heard a commotion going on in another room. She spotted an open door right across from her own and the back of a blonde haired boy with what looked like an adorable white cat on his shoulders. The tension flowing from the room hit her like a wall and her curiosity to find out what was happening only heightened. What could be happening to cause so much anger on the first day of school? Bravely she stepped out of her room and into the hallway; her red eyes always on the door in front of her. She wanted to see what was going on inside in order to properly evaluate the situation.
She blinked as she saw a spark of gold on the animal's tail and noticed more closely that it was very angry and seemed to be tensed to attack. Rosetta didn't like where it was going and took another step forward before she froze; she didn't know who these people were nor did she know that they meant no harm. Her heart pounded roughly in her chest as she wondered about what she could possibly do to aid the two so that blows would not happen at all. "If only I was brave enough," she thought sadly as she shrunk back a little to get closer to her own door.

"One; I did, with your assistance. Two; Fair enough and three; I will - but not yet, I'm not done talking to you." Boo sat down on the end of the raging students bed. Who crawled up your ass? Boo shook his head. Tempertantrums are over-rated. "You smoke, don't you?" Boo rubbed his nose. Smokers smelled like all smokers: they stunk, but Boo took it along with the rest without letting any of it faze him.
The furr-ball was a curious critter. "Hey, there's a gym to work out that fustration. Boo saw the door across the hall open and a babe walked out. I should have gone knock on her door. Boo sighed and glanced over to the cry baby. Yup. Boo looked over, giving the girl eye contact and a weak smile.

"One, I did NOT assist you into my room. Two, get the fuck off of my bed; I don't want your ass essence on it. And three if you want to talk to me you can do it standing up." He instantly shut down his anger and became his usual apathetic self. "I don't stink you know, I smoke special cigarettes that keep me from shifting randomly. So don't start up that, smokers stink shit," he muttered.
Minx crawled down from his shoulder to rest in the crook of his arm, his eyes glaring daggers at the person who dared to upset his master. He wouldn't forgive the other human for calling him a marshmellow either. His abilities were still unknown to his master but in good time he would show that he was a good pet and could do more than fight; he could help his owner win by mentally overloading them. The thought made him purr and relax a little.
Lyn looked down at his pet before looking back up at the bastard and following his gaze to the girl in the hallway. The second he looked at her he turned away and put his attention back on the other male. "I know there's a gym, I'm not stupid. Now, get the fuck off my bed. I don't want you touching anything I have to wear, sleep on or use. It'll poison me." He began to stokre Minx subconsciously; using the creature to keep himself in his calm and apathetic state; there was no way he could've dealt with this guy as his other self. Lyn backed up and shut the door to the hallway; eavesdropping was not a big thing with him. "So, what do you want to talk to me about?" he questioned as he restrained Minx with a firm hand until the creature settled down again.

She blinked as one of the teen's smiled at her, unsure of how to react. Before she could however the door was shut by the blonde leaving her unable to do anything. It confused her that one of them had bothered to even notice her presence and she wondered if the other had too. Rosetta had yet to see his face and she vaguely wondered who's child he could be. 'Must be someone beautiful. He had a gorgeous profile,' she thought with a light rouge on her face. Her hands lifted to her cheeks and she backed into her room and shut the door behind her. Why was her heart pounding so quickly at a small smile and a profile? Rose shook her head to dispel the thoughts before moving to her bed.
Her hands worked constantly as she moved around her room putting things up on the walls and packing away clothes that she had packed. All the while she admired the cream coloured skin that covered them, gleeful that they no longer looked all stitched and crudely sewn together. It reminded her of the rest of her body and how human and normal it looked compared to what she had been before she came to Hell High; before the surgeries. Rosetta paused for a moment and looked at the bandages that extended from her wrist to her elbow on both arms and lifted a hand to her neck. She still wasn't complete though. A sigh and a tear later she was back to work personalizing her room.

"Ok, Either the guy next door is getting busy on his first day of school or some freak has come into his room." Jason said with a little laugh and went to his closet, pulling out an airsoft gun. "I know there is an airsoft arena around her somewhere." He said and looked at the brochure that he got on his first time here. Jason located the airsoft arena on the map in his room and grabbed his skateboard. "I am out." He said and walked out into the hall.

Boo sighed. This prick was a pain in the ass. No class. "Does vulgarity make you feel important? Or make you feel that whatever you say is important?"
Boo stood up, brushing his pants off. "I wouldn't want to upset your delicate mental balance, now would I?" The sarcasm dripped from the sentence, the first bit of it used since meeting the lout.
Boo walked up to the vulgar stranger, his genuine smile reaching his eyes as usual. "I think this inspection is complete." Something under his untucked black dress shirt moved, like the coiling of snakes then the bulge became unnoticable once more.

"I don't think it makes me feel important or makes what I say important. I think it just adds a little sparkle to the words. In fact, sometimes I think it makes me feel rather unimportant at the fact that I have to use vulgar words to make my sentences more colourful," he stated with a sad sigh while he shrugged his shoulders. He watched the other stand up and brush himself off before mentioning something about the balance of his mental stability. It brought up coils of anger but he couldn't argue; Lyn did have a fragile mental balance. He was perfectly unstable and he knew it; the sarcasm used even made it all the better that the other didn't know, he was trying to hurt Evelyn. The blonde didn't let any of it show on his face and continued to remain calm.
He nodded as he stated the inspection as complete with a genuine smile but refused to notice the movement under the fabric of his shirt, though it did register in his peripheral vision. "Well I'm glad I could be of service to you." Lyn opened the door and smiled at the stranger with a light in his eyes that matched the sincerity of his words. "Bye bye!" he stated while Minx crawled back onto his shoulder seeming to have decided this strange boy was no longer of interest. "I hope you have a good day," he added on with a bit less enthusiasm but still the same amount of sincerity.

Her heart beating rapidly due to her work being done Rosetta decided that one last peak into the hallway couldn't hurt anymore than anything else did; which was that it didn't hurt at all. She opened the door a small crack and looked out with one rose red eye.
The door was open again and the beautiful blonde was standing with a hand on the door knob and a brilliant smile on his face that made her cheeks flush; the creature cuddling up to his cheek. The other was smiling just as genuinely; she noticed he was good looking too. Why did there have to be such beautiful people around while she was some freak who wouldn't have looked human had it not been for the miracle of medicinal practices.
Rosetta wanted to know them, she wanted to meet them and become friends with them. She didn't know how to, her shyness would slow her down and she knew no way around it. Slowly she shut the door again and sat down with her back pressed to it; she had learned rather quickly that High School sucked.

[Leaving Evelyn's Room, Hell High - 1 Hour Ago]
"I'll be seeing you around," Boo replied, still smiling casually. Maybe I should bring you a Chill Pill next time, too? Boo left the room, leaving the teenage rebel to close the door at his own luxury.
The pearl painted walls of the hallway reminded Boo of hospitals. Despite how clean and orderly things were, there was always death and violence present. Home, sweet home. Hunting in the hospitals was like shooting fish in a barrel.
there weren't many students down near this end of the hallway, it was curious. There was a distinct majority of human bodies than beastily or monstrous. Boo scratched his earlobe, pondering. He didn't think his presence had put the neighbour on edge, but he wasn't satisfied yet. He'd mingle a bit more before his meeting. Varifying that monsters were more immune to his power was important, it would tell him how relaxed he could be around others here at Hell High.
"I wonder if I can find any humans here." Boo's smile cracked a little around the edges, hinting at malicious thoughts. He plucked the old style key from his pocket and clicked the door unlocked to his room and closed it partially behind him.
Boo started looking through the boxes he hadn't checked. He wished he could parkour but with nothing available for a course it wouldn't be profitable to continue that sport during his stay. A pair of shorts had Boo thinking about swimming; he knew there was a large pool available. With a plan forming in his head, Boo decided to head to the indoor rock climbing and see if it was worth substituting along with swimming and the 200 meter sprint.
"As if I'll have time, with class, studies, social activities, student council and the extracurricular activities. Not to mention whatever else I'm expected to undertake." The pressure of taking over the family business was always close by, always a reminder. "I need some fun," he muttered under his breath.
Boo closed his door and unbuttoned the silk dress shirt and hung it on a hanger in his closet to keep it unwrinkled. The fashion-torn blue fadded jeans were another matter, they stayed. A bleach white dress shirt with an immatery military rank button strap. The cuffs were folded up just above the elbow with another mockery military button strap to hold the cuffs. The black adidas shoes were swapped for a pair of white-blue niki running shoes.
Before locking his door, Boo grabbed his wallet, agenda/day planner, and a few other things. Walking down the hallway he looked at part of the map in his notes in his day planner, cut and pasted numerically. One good thing about moving and camping a lot is you learn to read a map's coordinates and make maps based on landmarkings.
Boo hadn't noticed it at first, but now the empty hallways were very wide. About 15 meters, Boo apraised. He made a note in his day planner to go over the rules at Hell High and how frequently violence occurred.
Soon enough as Boo left that wing the traffic in the halls picked up, large and small monsters, monstrous and divine beauties. It was odd. He wasn't used to seeing so many monsters real forms. He was jealous; his father, The Boogeyman, had a 'true form', it was a ever-shifting form blended into and transformed the air around him into night and a scent similar to jasmine and rain filled that air. And Boogey Junior? He had one form that manifested small changes, meaning he looked human except for his grey-silver hair and chestnut brown to fire red changing eyes. His father has the same fire red eyes as his son, but they burned constantly.
For the most part, Boo went unnoticed through the halls, blending in with the human-looking crowd. Something that Boo noticed with those that looked human is that a lot of them had done something to make them stand out; exotic tattoos to funky hairdos. Then there were the ones that looked almost human; horns, glowing eyes, tricolour eyes, tinted skin, claws, fangs - you name it.
[Marine Wing, Hell High - 40 Minutes Ago]
Unmolested, Boo made it to the swimming club and raised his eyebrows, a grin setting on his smug face. "Mermaids. Yum, I do like my sushi."
There were close to a dozen mermaids that Boo could see at the surface, swimming alongside new swimmers, no doubt teaching them the basics. Boo was a competent swimmer but he wondered if it would be beneficial to feint (no, I don't mean faint).
Before Boo could make up his mind a Ocanne came up to him, Boo wondered if it was Fishhead from before. He had trouble telling them apart, them being near-identicals.
"Hello, I'm Kēl. I haven't seen you around here before, are you a freshman? Yes, yes, no doubt, no doubt. Do you know how to swim?" Kēl was her.. his? Hands together constantly.
Boo was having trouble identifying the gender. If I say "no" will she be my instructor? He looked past Kēl to the mermaids. Damn. "Yes, I've just arrived today. I thought I'd take a look at the facilities, and here I am." Boo said, his casual smile ever-present. His gaze left Fishhead and saw a set of stairs off to his right, it was next to a office and first aid station.
" Oh. Too bad. Anyways, would you like to join the swimming club? There are two pools, the club's is down on the next floor, the stairs are right over there." Kēl pointed to the stairs in the righthand corner of the wall the door Boo walked through was.
"My schedule is crammed right now, but maybe next semester. I should go check the other facilities now."
"Well, be sure to come back later. Oh, I never got your name."
"My friends call me Boo."
"Boo? I had a giant space hampster named Boo once, but never mind, that's a long story." Fishhead, err.. Kēl waved it's long, webbed, hand. Boo always felt on edge near them. Their large, smooth obsidian eyes, needle point teeth and lack of facial expressions bugged bim because a lot of how he manifests a persons fear is to provoke it, and to do that he has to know what to provoke when they aren't scared.
Boo left the marine wing and headed towards the (dry) gym wing where he'd find the track and field but was blocked by several people, mostly human, a few had gills, tried to recruit him to the swim team and one to the aqua-morphers. All of them he declined, smiling and noting a couple that wered giving him a scrutinizing look. It didn't sit well with Boo that they were reading into his pleasant and minutely dismissive attitude.
[Track & Field wing, Hell High - The Present]
Eventually Boo made it down to the Track and Field wing, and on the right wall were windows to view the indoor field that had the strangest grass he'd ever seen: blue. Summer sky blue grass. Continuing his way down the hallway he noticed the runners course circling the massive blue field with enough lines for six runners. "Interesting," Boo muttered.
There were more doors on the other side of the hall but no windows to show what was happening behind it. Further ahead Boo saw a stairway leading up and down but he turned to the door on his right to take a closer look at the field's blue grass.
Upon closer inspection the grass was evenly coloured, no spots darker or lighter, so he ruled out dyes. "Odd."
"I'll be seeing you around," Boo replied, still smiling casually. Maybe I should bring you a Chill Pill next time, too? Boo left the room, leaving the teenage rebel to close the door at his own luxury.

He exhaled as he shut the door, leaving him alone in his room once again and slightly happier than he was before. "Ahhh, he was so cynical," Evelyn complained as he switched his jeans for shorts and pulled down his shirt from where it had been folded. "Ne, Minx. Should we go to the Student Council room and see what's being planned?" His odd coloured eyes flickered to the animal on his shoulder and he smiled at it.
The creature rubbed his cheek against his owner's, answer enough for the question. He liked childish Evelyn a little more than he liked grown-up Evelyn. Minx could relax more when he was dealing with the happier and more carefree of the two.
Evelyn giggled a bit and rubbed his pet's head a little before heading the mirror on his wall with a comb in his hand. He began to comb out the organized mess hoping to get it to flatten out; he'd never understood why he liked the rough hairstyle when he was his other side, it was so hard to undo. The purring sound in his ear made the experience more enjoyable and he began to think less about how hard it was to comb out his hair and more about how much fun he would have once school actually started; he could hardly contain his excitement. "I'm sure we'll make lots of friends Minx, they'll love you I'm sure of it." A final stroke later he set the comb down satisfied that his hair was completely straightened out. He adjusted the small crown atop his head and beamed at his finished appearance. "Ready to go Minx?"
He looked up from the grooming his was giving himself and placed a paw on his owner's cheek batting it away from him and to the door. Minx wanted to get going and meet people who would be friends with his master; and wanted to make sure they deserved to be.
"Okay, okay." Evelyn laughed a little and walked towards the door, picking up a pink and black backpack on the way; already filled with everything he needed to start the day. He shut the door behind him and locked it before swinging his head both ways around the hall. "Aww, I don't know which way to go...." His voice was quiet and almost dejected as he switched from looking down one end of the hall to the next. He scratched at his neck for a moment until he suddenly remembered the school map they'd all been given. Excitedly he rummaged in his bag before pulling out the sheet with the layout of the school, located the area where his dorm was and turned left down the hall.
The blonde ignored the stares he was getting and kept his eyes on the sheet of paper before him; he was letting Minx do all the work for him. He could tell just by judging from the heat that was batting at his ear and the back of his neck that his pet had ignited and was keeping whoever he judged as unworthy away. It bothered Evelyn a little but he wasn't about to complain; he knew that Minx only meant the best. His eyes shifted up as he heard a snicker and saw a boy probably only two years older than him with red horns sticking out of their head. "Can I help you?" he asked silently.
"Ehehehe. Easy bait. You look like a wimpy little fruitcake. I'll be taking all the money you have in your pocket and backpack."
A smirk passed over his lips for a brief moment until the innocence came back and he blinked dumbly. "I don't have any money. Papa didn't give Evelyn any. He said he'd send some though," he muttered sadly. Evelyn felt the heat intensify and heard a very distinct growl in his ear; he'd only have to say one word. "And I'm not food. If I was I wouldn't be a fruitcake, they taste nasty." Playing the idiot had always worked in his favour; his father had made sure the genius in him didn't go to waste. He dropped a hand from the sheet of paper and several knives slid down his sleeve into his grasp. "Why do you need Evelyn's money anyway? Are you poor?"
"You little -"
His hand was up by his shoulder and the knives he'd had were gone. He looked up at the bully's face and feigned worry at the terrified look on it. Evelyn noticed that the other male's clothing had been ripped in several places and a line of blood was crawling down his cheek. "Excuse me," he said brightly as he passed by the other. The knives retracted on their wires back into his hands and from there back up his sleeve. He looked back down at his map and went back to ignoring everything but finding the Student Council room.
The creature rubbed his cheek against his owner's, answer enough for the question. He liked childish Evelyn a little more than he liked grown-up Evelyn. Minx could relax more when he was dealing with the happier and more carefree of the two.

On his way to the war games and war rooms, Jason saw the track, and what seemed to be a skate boarding park! "Sweet!" He cheered and put the toy gun in the trash, he had kept that gun sense he was ten and he needed to grow out of that phase. He ran into the park but had to be given a helmet and pads. "Are you joking?" He asked with a little laugh and walked by the man that gave him the pads.
Jason made it inside of the wooden jungle and pulled his off road skateboard out of a duffel bag. Swiftly he climbed to the top of one of the half pipes. "This is going to be gooood!" He yelled and got onto the weird looking off road skateboard. After a few minutes of skating Jason made his first wipe out, and it was a bad one. Suddenly his neck began to bleed right where it should have hurt him badly but Jason didn't show pain, he didn't show any emotion whatsoever. "Thank the maker that my parents were the creator of tranquil or this would hurt like crazy." He said and tore off a piece of his sleeve to cover the wound.

OOC Notes
She kept her rose red eyes on the map in her hands as she wandered down the school's hallways, occasionally looking up to try and keep in mind where everything was. This classroom was here, that classroom was there. Rosetta wanted to have everything memorized by the end of the second day so she wouldn't have to walk around with the map for longer than everyone else; she'd always been last. The last one created, the last one to stay alive. She nearly let out a yell of surprise when the map nearly ripped in her hands.
Nervously she held the map between her knees as she reached up to her hair to pull it into a high ponytail. It made her more self-conscious to have her face exposed to the world; especially with the light scar that still ran from the top of her forehead to halfway down her cheek. She knew it was barely visible and nothing to worry about but her self-esteem had her constantly worrying if people were staring at it and making guesses as to what she was and who she was. It made her a nervous wreck all the time and it seemed that her heart would never slow down to a normal pace; she felt she was going to die nervous.
Her eyes swept the hallway she was in and then went back down to the map; her expression thoughtful. "If I go left, I'll meet the swimming pool but if I go right I'll find the track and field wing." Rosetta bit down on her lip and looked both ways down the hall once more before deciding that going to the track field was her best bet. They'd have both track and field and maybe even tennis and they were both things she wanted to try out for. Stuffing the map in her bag she began to jog down to the doors that would lead her to the field.
The door open she eyed the blue grass that covered the area, it was odd to her to say the least but she didn't pay much attention to it; they were in a monster school after all. She stepped into the wing and let the door swing shut behind her and she looked at the various human-looking and monster-looking things in the area. Rosetta had never seen so many creatures in their natural state and it made her thing about if she would have been accepted by them had she stayed her old self. The thought was gone the instant in sprang up as she felt the nervous energy bubbling in her.
"I wonder where who we talk to, to sign up...," she muttered to herself as she began to walk around the wing admiring the scene that was displayed before her.

Re: [OOC] My School Year In Hell
Can anyone help me think up a drow name for a girl? So far all I've got is Felyndril'tyrr Zaudo'ervs. Sounds lame to me. =/
Re: [OOC] My School Year In Hell
Assumption is probably one of humanities biggest enemies. I've learned to often that assuming can lead to things bigger than this.
It's a good thing this got solved though; we need more than three people RPing. I wish the other two would start to RP more, mostly the Dracula girl who has posted nothing since this started. > > I don't know why people join if they aren't going to be serious and actually do shit. It pisses me off.

I wasn't mad at you. Your first post was a paragraph long. I'm absolutely fine with paragraph length posts, it's the peeps that don't even make the effort to make a paragraph that piss me off. So, just remember that when you assume, you make an ass out of you and me. Which in this case, it was true, lol.

I didn't know that you guys weren't mad, I "Thought" You were. I am going to try to increase the size of my posts.
Re: [OOC] My School Year In Hell
No one ever said they were mad at you darkune. And you don't have to stop posting just because everyone else is posting more, just try and increase the lengths of your posts. Or just keep posting with what you have; or tell people you aren't going to post anymore so at least we know that you have stopped. Don't just black out.
Re: [OOC] My School Year In Hell
When did I ever say that I was to busy to post, I have just been to intimidated by everyone's posts being they have been like a page long, and I thought you guys were mad at me so I just didn't want to cause anymore trouble! -_-
Re: [OOC] My School Year In Hell
That actually sounds like a really good idea. > > Would make it so much easier to fight and stuff if there was a model to abide by.
And with it no one would die unless they choose to (doubt they would). Hopefully she gets on soon and sees that.

Re: [OOC] My School Year In Hell
Yes, Darkune, I do mean you, and if you read it, I apologize for my non-provoked behaviour.. If not, Don't worry, I was polite. ()=) *hides horns behind halo*
I wasn't going to post until later in thr OOC cuz i'm @ work, but I felt I should reply to you darkune.
now for what I wasn't going to post until later... I think Maria-Chan-San should make a Action-By-Action fight thread so each person can fight without godmoding (no, it isn't a spelling error, look it up).
edit: ahh shit! Now I have a beef with you again, Darkune. You pretend to be offline. I HATE people who do that. It's like they're always online but pretend they're offline so they don't have to post and come up with a "i'm always busy" excuse. Dammit. -.- I really hope you're a dedicated, truthful, RPer, Darkune. =/
Yes, I have lots of issues when it comes to RP'ing. Been doing it a long time and most of the time RP's i'm in get screwed over by people who won't put any effort in, which is why I love screenings.

Ahahaha. That was the best though Maz. I read the whole thing and I was laughing by the end of it. FTW!
That was amazing though, no lies.

Whoop!! Dammit, I just wasted my time writing a post to "sorry just thought this would be faster" thinking that was an excuse to quit. ¬.¬ Flaming FTW...
Re: [OOC] My School Year In Hell
It's a point game.
First you have to decide what the population of Hell High School consists of (excluding staff). After that you have to break it down into catagories either by percent or numbers (in the end they'll be the same). The categories are: Monstrous, Beastly, Magical, Shapeshifter, Mundane (human). Mundane count as both half-humans and full humans if they can pass as human without supernatural assistance.
The winner gets.. Dunno. XD

Re: [OOC] My School Year In Hell
I wish Maria-Chan-San was online.. I have lots of questions.. Well, until she's online, anyone want to do a guessing game on how many people attend Hell High?
Re: [OOC] My School Year In Hell
I guess that is the best way to think about it. The abyss would sort of be like a black hole; the laws of physics are crushed and reversed and twisted. Our knowledge of the laws stops at that point and goes no further as it can't go any further.
Then yea, we would have to go with that model as any other model would make no sense unless depicted otherwise by Maria. *NodNod* That is definitely the better choice as of right now.

Re: [OOC] My School Year In Hell
The Abyss is a little difficult to explain; but it corresponds more or less to the gap in thought between the Real, which is ideal, and the Unreal, which is actual. In the Abyss all things exist, indeed, at least in posse, but are without any possible meaning; for they lack the substratum of spiritual Reality. They are appearances without Law. They are thus Insane Delusions.
Now the Abyss being thus the great storehouse of Phenomena, it is the source of all impressions.
Thus above would be the best interpretation, in my humble opinion. It'd be the best place for magic-dwellers to practise their art, making the Abyss the best for the young monsters of society to understand themselves better and not be prejudiced against.
This would mean, outside of the schools perimeter the laws of physics are wild, so unless Maria-chan-san says otherwise I'm going to follow the above theory and staying inside the school and will continue to believe that the school's size is large enough to house all needs, be it recreational or academical.

Re: [OOC] My School Year In Hell
Well, I was planning on having Evelyn join Council because he loves meeting people. Lyn, dunno what to do with him.
I wish I knew what it looked like. I'm guessing since it's a monster school it'll have nearly everything we need floating in a dark hole of utter nothingness. I hope there are stars though, I like stars. Other than that I would assume it had grounds but their covered by like, glass. Like a green house without all the heat and maybe artificial lights? *Making This Up On The Spot*

Re: [OOC] My School Year In Hell
I was going to have Rosetta join track because she's good a long distance running. And then I was debating between swimming and tennis but I'll think of something.
Re: [OOC] My School Year In Hell
Does anyone plan on joining: student council, swimming or track with their characters? I'm going to have Boo take a look around and thought about meeting someone by those activities.
on another note, does anyone know what the school looks like or if it has any grounds or if it's just a floating school in a vast abyss of nothing?

Re: [OOC] My School Year In Hell
Nyaa~ I realized only three people are actually posting regularly. Ty, Myself and Maz. I wonder why everyone else isn't posting at all; they've had plenty of time.
