Alias:uses various false names, he's been around for a long time, and people get suspicious...currently uses the name 'Damian'.
Age: 190, give or take a few years, looks about 21 though

Past: was out one night, and got slightly more drunk than he perhaps should have, and went home with the wrong woman...who then turned him...then was slain a few years later...He wandered for a few decades, before settling down, becoming a music teacher in a local college (night classes only)...until he was fired for being dead (some people are so picky)

Weapon: doesn't really enjoy fighting, but has a slight obsession with knives when in 'dark mode'...

Magic:No magic per se, but can influence humans, and control them to a certain degree. Only ever uses this while feeding. It's kinder that way.

Likes: Music, Art, and that rare commodity: a bit of peace and quiet

Dislikes: loud people, and hates cars, the noisy,confusing, polluting things that they are

Fears: He fears that the next time he feeds then he won't be able to stop, and end up killing the person

Flaws: can be very cutting with his comments, and can be very rude at times. Also has quite the temper, especially when he needs to feed. While he is generally calm, when in battle(or angry with something/one), his eyes turn pitch black and his true vamparic nature comes through with a vengence: He thinks only of killing, in the methods which will release most blood, making him needlessly torture his victims. The only way that he snaps out of this state is if he is physically hurt...although getting close enough to him in order to achieve this may prove difficult...just a tad...

Special features:Do fangs count? Also his crimson eyes, which he claims are contact lenses. His hair had originally been blonde when he was human, but turned white for some reason after he became a vampire, which he now says is dyed.

Orientation: Bi-sexual...he's not all that picky with his food...
Weaknesses: Sunlight(duh), Church/religious stuff, silver...you know, the usual vampire stuff...

Kai was heading to one of his usual 'haunts': a busy club near the middle of the city. It was easier to feed there, and there was more choice. Not to mention it was easier to hide from Hunters, since it was a goth club, and vampires generally suited that look. Ironic really...it reminded him of a line from a book he'd read.
"Vampires pretending to be humans, pretending to be vampires...", he muttered under his breath, then let out a soft chuckle. That quote always made him laugh, and it was from one of the more accurate works of vampire fiction. 'Interview with the Vampire', by Anne Rice. He had bought it as soon as it came out, and had it practically memorised, though he hadn't liked the other books from the series as much. The films were okay though, and he liked the soundtrack from 'Queen of the Damned'. It suited the mood of the film, and he felt like a lot of the songs were written especially for him. Then again, he supposed most vampires had felt that way. Not that there were many left now.
Those kinds of thoughts made him sad, he missed those that were now gone. Tomas...Abigail...Rachel...

Rachel...that name hasn't come up in a while...Damn I miss her..., he thought, unconsciously rubbing at the burn scar on the inside of his wrist. A permanent reminder of that day. Of how much of a coward he was. How weak he was. And it had cost him the woman he had loved more than his own existence.

That's the past. Rachel is gone. It may have been my fault, but it can't be changed now., he scolded himself as he rounded the corner. Maybe he didn't need to go to the club...there was already a nice looking male here. The green hair was a bit odd, but that didn't really matter to Kai. It just made things more interesting after all...

Kari looked around the street, an almost tired look on his face. It seemed the stress from today had finally caught up with him. He let out a soft yawn as a strong gust of wind blew by him making his long hair whip around. He covered his eyes from the dust debris it kicked up as his eyes flashed an amethyst purple, but just like that they were back to being green. He continued walking, not really paying any attention to where he was going, which would explain why he bumped into a tall man with pale skin, pale hair not really blond, almost white. He quickly offered him a little bow. “Sorry! I should pay more attention to where I am walking instead of day dreaming... well night dreaming I suppose.” he said as he rubbed the back of his head as he blushed in embarrassment. He couldn't help but look at the man, he was... well handsome and more, he seemed to have an air of mystery about him. He quickly turned his eyes downcast as his face turned brighter even in this dark night.

Kai was more than a little surprised when the green-haired boy bumped into him, normally he would have avoided the male. It just proved how much he needed blood, his balance was off, and he was a little dizzy. he supposed this was what it was like for humans, when their blood sugar level was too low. Except in his case, it was more the amount of blood..

"It's quite alright. I wasn't paying much attention myself. I tend to do that a lot.", he said, mainly to cover the fact he was feeling ill. He almost smiled at the boy, then remembered about his fangs. He didn't want to reveal himself yet. That part would come later. He paused a little as he took in the boy's scent...it was...different. Human enough, he supposed, but...something more than human, in a way. It was nice though, albeit in a strange way.

Hang on...is he? Yes, he must be. His movements are too fluid...like air...And his scent..., he mused as he stepped back a little, a slight frown crossing his features.

"Hold on a sec...you can't be...are you?", he asked uncertainly, more to himself than to the boy. he ran through the different types of beings in his head, trying to put a name to the scent. All he could come up with was a Sylph, an air elemental. That was close enough he supposed, though not exact. For one thing, Sylphs were generally female. And they tended not to live in cities. Too polluted for them, and too dangerous. So what was this boy?

Kari laughed, "same here I was spacing out a bad habit I have... specially on breezy days... the wind calms me. he said as he rubbed the back of his head. "It is err a bad habit..." he admitted with a grin. He looked at the man, he looked kinda sick, "You okay? Do you need to sit down?" he asked him in concern, he was always like that. Caring about others when they looked ill, even if they were strangers. He stiffened a bit as the man began to speaking asking him what he could be, though he sounded uncertain. He took a slight step back. "Am I what?" he asked normally trying to hid his fear, his worry.. and he tried to control his beating heart. "Damn it... if he knows what I am.... though he might not mind..." he thought cautiously hopeful. the wind blew past his face and he quickly looked down as his eyes seemed to gleam a bit brighter green.

Kai continued to run theories through his mind, tryin gto figure this kid out.
"Well, you're certainly not human, that's for sure...your movements are too fluid, and I noticed your eyes when you crashed into me. Human eyes don't change color, kid. I would think you would know that already.", he stated, perhaps sounding a bit harsher than he had intended, but he was anxious to get away and get some 'food', since the longer he waited, the worse he would be.
"And do not worry about me, this sort of thing is normal.", he continued, refering to the boy's worry after his condition.
