Introduction

When the Moon shines at its brightest,
The Snakes will rise,
But Beware young ones,
There are those who dispise.
Years ago, 6 Teenagers were named after snakes, or something similar. Their parents have issued a curse on them.
Imagine the powers of names. People take them for granted everyday. "Look, there is Ted." "Hi there Rick." Yet no one understands the power of the name. Imagine, being named Speed and unlocking amazing speed. Nothing superhuman, no, Speed isnt the right name. That is what has happened to these teenagers. They have been given powers. By simply being named. Unbelievable.
Yes, people take the names for granted.
Will the teenagers?
Anyway. Where are those who dispise the Names. They want the Names' power, for various reasons.
So you see how the Names are in this little... Pradicament.
They're on the run. They don't even know who they are runing from. Their friends? Their neighbors? Their Family?

OOC Notes
"You're in class N5." Mamba made out.
Mamba simply nodded before picking up the sheet of paper with her timetable on. Biology, Chemestry, Math, English and ICT, Mamba thought. Right, Room 215.
Mamba wondered around, scanning the room numbers. The next thing Mamba knew, her head was against someone else's head. Mamba jerked backwards.
"Sorry." She mumbled. She reached up and checked her jaunty hat was still there before starting to twirl the hair in her side-ponytail, nervously.
OOC Notes
"Sorry."
She whirled around, her long, wavy hair like a cape behind her. Elapidae saw a girl standing behind her and smiled, "it's okay." She said, "you're new here, aren't you? I haven't seen you here before." She peeked over at the girl's schedule and her smile grew wider, "it looks like your in all of the same classes with me, I can show you around if you want. My name is Elapidae Kuruno, our first class is that way." She pointed to a classroom a few doors down, at least she didn't have to go through the catching up all by herself.
OOC Notes
I don't think I really have to tell you where he is. . . school! Obviously I mean come on he's that that much of a delinquent. . . but he's sleeping in the middle of math class. His head laying on his folded arms resting on his table and his hair in a complete disaster. Usually all the teachers knew that Python slept in class and they didn't say anything but his substitute math teacher didn't know yet.
"You, the boy in the back corner!" she snapped but Python just slowly turned his head to he was resting his chin on his arms and looking straight at the old shriveled up lady.
"The name would be Python," he corrected her, "Yes?" he half yawned.
"You may not sleep in class! Go to the principals office!" Python didn't say anything, he just grabbed his books and bid farewell to his teacher as he walked out.
"What a pain," he yawned and made his way down the empty hall where he noticed two girls, one that he had seen before and a new one.
OOC Notes
Well, at least she's not really annoying, Mamba thought to herself. In Britain, most girls had faces plastered with make-up and were really snobby, but this Elapidae girl seemed nice. A couple of Questions were biting at the back of Mamba's head and she blurted them out: "Are kids in america really snobby? Are the teachers all ridiculously strict? Are all the boys delinquents?"
Mamba was a little shocked she'd blurted them out. She paused, waiting to see how Elapidae responded.
OOC Notes
Runo laughed, "it really depends on the person." She admitted, "some are and some aren't snobby, but there are a lot here who are, unfortunantly. Not all of the teachers are strict, but our Biology teacher is, so you'll have to be careful around her, blurting stuff out isn't going to get you on her good side. I'll tell you what, all of the kids usually sit in the back of the room to stay away from her, but if you sit in the front and answer her questions, she'll love you. And the boys? Well, some are, like that Python kid over there." She leaned into Mamba and whispered, "he sleeps in class, the teachers are too scared of him to yell at him so he gets free naptime all day. But, despite that, he's not too bad, he's smarter than you'd think." She shrugged, "maybe it's sort of like that whole 'make babies listen to Mozart while they're sleeping' thing or something, I don't know."
She smiled warmly at Python as he walked by and then pulled Mamba into the classroom. "The one good thing about Mrs. Walker is that she lets you sit where you want, so, where do you want to sit?" Elapidae asked.
OOC Notes
"Why are frogs called frogs?"
It took Mamba a while to realise that she had asked. Her face went slightly red, but returned to normal quickly. She cursed under her breath and looked at the class who were staring at her.
"What?" She asked casually.
OOC Notes
"Why are frogs called frogs?"
Looking up Cobra noticed a new girl walking into class. She’d asked such an insane question, why are frogs called frogs? Really? Now she was going to be stuck thinking about it all day. Groaning she let her head fall onto the table with a very satisfying thud, that's such a bother, why is it she could scare people enough to kill them but she couldn't get one stupid question out of her head? Great, looks like it’s going to be a long day.
OOC Notes
Noticed the looks coming from the new girl and the other girl he remembered the name was, Elapidae. He had always found it kind of ironic that he and she had a snakes name but he never paid anymore attention than that to it.
Off to the principal's office it is, he slung his bag on his shoulder and knocked at the door before opening, "I'm sorry to intrude."
As usual, Python had to explain what happened and he said absolutely everything. He was sleeping, the teacher go mad and yelled so he had just done as she said. Since Python hadn't really pointed anyone being the good side of the story or the bad side the principal was once again struck with confusion and said nothing. Python was pretty sly on that side, he never really gave people a chance to accuse him because he would deny his truthful misbehavior, and he would never point out a culprit because he knew that it was like holding up a list of arguments.
"Um. . . well. . . you may, leave?" the principal didn't really know how to express himself but Python just got up anyway.
"Thank you, and again, I'm sorry for barging in," when Python was out he went outside to sit in the grass of the soccer fields, Great, now there's nothing to do but look at the clouds.

He sighed as he lied back on the grass with his hands under his head, there was nothing to do. It's not like he didn't like class it's just that he couldn't stay awake in them because he already knew everything they were talking about since he had read all the school books when he had gotten them. Now he'd been kicked out of class because a stupid replacement teacher didn't know anything about him and probably wouldn't have listened or believed anything he would've said.
"Uh. . . so bored," he turned to the side then came face to face with someone's feet.
"Are you Python Krimsson?" asked the very tall and strong man that Python looked up to see.
"Yes, what about it?"
"I have some pay back to give to you for having hurt one of my buddies," the man cracked his knuckles and Python noticed the other guy behind the whole gang of, 1, 2, 3. . .6 guys, who was all beat up and he recognized the guy.
"Oh, yes, I hit him but only because he hit me first," Python got up and wiped his pants of the grass, "but if you insist on a fight I guess I'm lucky because I'm quite pissed at some stupid teacher right now."
OOC Notes
When Mamba finally found a door, she stumbled outside, and ran around the school, looking for that Python boy, and the men surrounding him. She didn't care if he was strong, he was surrounded, and by the looks of him, he was seriously cocky. And cockiness never gets you much, except for a black eye and a broken nose.
She stopped when she saw them in the distance and started yelling, still coming forward. "HEY!"
OOC Notes
"Stupid," she mumbled to herself, "He doesn't need help, you’re going to get yourself hurt." She might not talk much but she still paid attention. She knew Python's reputation and, more importantly, she knew it wasn't fake. Well, she wasn't about to do class work. She turned so she was facing the window and could see the would be fight better, if nothing else it should entertain her for a little while.

He had just been looking at the men when that new girl he had seen in the hall appeared and yelled, he turned and started saying, "You know -" but the girl charged and started saying things about 6v1 and 5v2, Python smiled but then just grabbed her and slung her over his shoulder.
"Excuse me men, I'll be right back," Python made a small salute and walked with the girl on his shoulder, "Listen here," he set her down but kept his hands on her shoulders so she wouldn't try anything stupid, "I appreciate the help, but you should take more care of yourself, your a girl, you don't want to ruin those hand anymore than that. And please, let me settle my own problems, don't ruin a man's pride please."
He left the girl there and went back to the group of now four, barely five, standing men (the poor guy that got hit in his parts seemed broken), "Okay, so where were we," Python flicked the closest man on his forehead and sent him several steps back to hit his partner behind him handicapping them both, "we were settling something."
OOC Notes
Cobra grinned as she stared out the window. The day might finally be getting interesting and the best part was no one was about to make her pay attention. She was known for being scary, not even the teachers messed with her if she was set against it. Still, she was beginning to notice something. Cobra, Python, the girl in front of her was called Elapidae and she was pretty sure there was a guy called Viper. That was weird, four sets of parents who gave their kids snake names. What the hell was wrong with those guys?
"Hey, Elapidae, right?" Cobra asked quietly, "What's the new kid’s name?"
Viper
Viper was late for school, again. Oh, well, he smiled, at nothing in particular. He'd probably just wait 'till second period any way. He walked towards the school calming but stopped when he saw a kid from school. He almost called out to Python but he noticed the other guy was carrying a girl and also seemed to be in the middle of a fight. Oh, how unusual, Viper thought with a grin. He came up behind the girl after Python put her down.
"Hey," he said, "What's going on?"

"You damn kid, don't go underestimating us!" the guys started getting on their high horses and puffing out their chests while Python just looked at them laughing silently under his breath.
"Actually, I am going to underestimate you because a girl half your size just beat the shit out of that guy's balls," Python pointed to the guy that had been staring at Mamba with anger but also a hint of fear, "So, I advise you just leave because you are on school grounds and it would be a shame to taint this beautiful soccer field with your blood."
"Cocky bastard!" one of the men came in to lay a hit on Python who just brought up his hand and flicked him on the forehead which would usually have done nothing, but instead then the man four feet away.
The other guys started wondering if Python was normal, it was written all over their faces. Then again, a high school boy sending two full grown mass muscular men away just by flicking them was a little far fetched and surrealistic. But that was Python, pure muscle within.
"Are we going to have a problem?" asked Python as he walked up to them. He didn't have to repeat himself because they were already leaving so he turned to go check on Mamba and Viper, "Sorry for that, I didn't want you do get into it."
OOC Notes
"I am Viper," he announced, puffing himself up a little, "And my I ask whom I have the pleasure of addressing?" He'd have been swallowing laughter had anyone else said it, but that was just the way he was. He gave a small bow, coming back up with an even wider grin.
OOC Notes
"I enjoy fights. It doesn't matter if its anything to do with me. If there's fists, I'm there." Mamba shrugged. "Plus the fact its been three weeks since my last fight, and that was in Britain." She added. She turned back to Viper.
"Mamba." She said. Simple.
Mamba folded her arms and stared at them.
OOC Notes
"Well, looks like you’re going to have some competition for number one trouble maker this year," He said in a semi serious tone, "You guys tell me how that works out, ok?" Viper lent against the wall to make himself more comfortable. It was highly likely saying that would get someone else beat up, but no one really took what he had to say seriously anyway, so Viper figured he was in the clear. Besides that, he was pretty decent in a fight himself.

He nodded to himself, when he finished, grinning at the fact that the girl probably didn't get any of that.
"And you are?" He asked, with an odd little flourish of his hands.

"Yes, I'm not in class because a stupid teacher kicked me out, but you on the other hand are supposed to be in class," Python glared a Viper but then just smiled when he wrapped his arm around him, "It's not a competition, I really don't care about being the biggest delinquent, you can take it, Mamba."
Python just realized that he had never really stuck around so many people before and he had never realized that there were so many people in the school with snake names like himself. Mamba, Viper, Taipan and Elapidae. It was all a little weird.
"So you're from England? Cool," Python emphasized on the England part by putting on a little accent, "if you want a nice fight, you can take all of mine, but you really should cherish yourself a bit more. You're a cute girl, don't want to scar that face."

Re: [OOC] Named
Hey, demon, our characters look a lot alike. Do you mind if I change my Runo's appearance?
Re: [OOC] Named
Uhm, Demonoid...so, the chars can turn into snakes? Depends on their names, correct? when they're in their human forms, will they have...snake traits? Slit eyes or something like that?
