Personality
Despite often being shown with a playful smile, Oni Kyō is seemingly apathetic to the suffering of others. Despite often refusing to fight, no matter who the enemy, Oni Kyō is not easily intimidated, usually speaking to others in a very direct and arrogant manner. He cares little for others, and will most likely not help even other Akatsuki members should they require it. Oni Kyō will often refuse to fight others, even when the situation might demand it. He will never give a reason besides saying that, "it wouldn't change anything." As such his actual strength in hard to measure, but he is an Akatsuki, so one shouldn't underestimate him.

If it wasn't already obvious, Oni Kyō is not his real name. Kirigakure (Hidden Mist Village) is believed to be his place of origin if only due to that being on his forehead protector. He appeared before the Akatsuki one year ago, and hasn't really proven that he deserves his position. Aside from his rather unique appearance, his strength and intelligence are so far untested. As such he is believed to be the weakest of the Akatsuki as he always finds a way to avoid raising his hand.
