Introduction
These metaphysics of magicians
And necromantic books are heavenly

Two hundred years since the world was plunged into fire and darkness, two hundred years since people clung to each other deep underground. SIGMA exposure has since turned men into beasts, beasts into abominations. Two hundred years since people found they could summon creatures from the underworld and work magic into their lives, however rare and faint that might be.
The world, however, is in more earthly states of chaos as well. Tribal warfare is gripping the land, both small and large scale. The New American Alliance tribe is crawling slowly to enter Siberia through the Bering Straits and the rest of Europe over the Atlantic. Petty tribal warfare dominates the remains of the south of Poland.
And now with creatures roaming the land, danger is more commonplace and people are finding it progressively harder to survive.
--
Simply put:
A nuclear war ruined the world some two hundred years ago. A type of radiation, SIGMA, has been leaking from apparent holes in the fabric of the universe, which has turned humans into mutants or monsters. Said mutants do not have powers, but are just humans adapted to the world in which they live.
However, it has become possible to 'summon' creatures from another world and some people have even unlocked a latent potential to use 'magic'. However, this magic is normally weak, and doesn't do a lot of amazing stuff.
In addition, tribes have been fighting, and a large American one is planning to invade Europe (where the roleplay is set).
Characters will just be attempting to survive in the land. There are indeed cities (numbered from one to twenty) and their satellite towns in western and central Europe, but these are few and far between, not to mention often oppressive and dark places. How will your characters work together to survive? Or will they split, join different groups, betray each other?

MONSTERS
Monsters are evidently a part of this roleplay. Despite being called monsters, they are not 'evil', nor are they all dangerous and huge. Some will just look inhuman, whereas others will be much scarier looking. Most of these monsters have been summoned.
- Using 'established' monsters/creatures from mythology/cryptozoology, etc: it's encouraged to choose a type of monster that is a little different - for example, garudas, jackalopes, chimeras etc. I would rather if people stayed away from things like elves, demons, and the like, but I would like to see individual interpretations of creatures like this as well.
- Using monsters which I have established: It'd be really great if people used monsters which I have made up!
- Original monsters which you have created: Yes, yes, yes! I'd love to see monsters which people have created and would like to use in this roleplay! It'd be nice to get some details on the race, though. Things such as general appearance, societal behaviour and such is good.

MUTANTS
These mutants are my creations, hurr. They don't have 'powers'. Instead, they have been changed to adapt to the environment in which they live. Krakowic tribals live in the Las Wolski forest in Poland, and the ruined city of Krakow. They are taller and bulkier than humans, and their feet have long toes tipped with sharp claws to help them climb. Their hands are also clawed for the same reason. They have markings to help them blend in.
I don't mind how you make them, as long as the design is somewhat natural. Their markings shouldn't be to stand out, nor should they be 'tribal' in nature. They should be dapples, stripes, etc., and in a darkish colour (grey or brown, normally).
MONSTERS I HAVE MADE
Ulfhethnar - totem-using shapeshifters.
Crafter - four-armed creatures, geniuses at making things.
Ironfang Huge lizard-like creatures, subserviant to certain people.
Small Strange little short monsters with the inability to reason as a human.
Feel free to play as any of these!
PLEASE SEND A WRITING SAMPLE TO ME! This might be waived if I've RPd with you before and know you're good at it, or if I've seen you around. Thank you!
Rules
- I consider this RP lit. However, this does not mean you have to write loads, or puke a thesaurus all over your writing. Your posts should be legible, written half decently and should contain description as well as speech.
- Please follow the forum's rules.
- Please treat other players with courtesy.
- Please don't take the actions of someone's character as the actions of the player. For example, don't assume that someone doesn't like you personally just because their character dislikes yours. It'd be great if everyone chatted and got to know each other a bit to prevent any hard feelings from situations such as this.
- RPing should be done in third person, past tense. For example,
'Dave waved happily to see his friend return, and jogged over to meet her.
"How are you, Mary? It's pretty cold out, isn't it?" he asked as he handed her a cup of warm tea.'
NOT
'Dave: *waves, goes over to Mary* How are you? It's pretty cold out, isn't it? *hands cup of tea*'
- Regular RP rules reply - no godmoding, metagaming or powerplaying. An example might be if two characters fell out and one went to hit the other, the correct way would be:
'Dave tensed and - fist clenched - threw a punch at Bob, hoping to knock some sense into the man (and breaking his nose would be no bad thing either).'
NOT
'Dave tensed and - fist clenched - punched Bob hard in the face. He heard a terrible crack as his fist connected with the man's nose, and blood began to gush out.'
The second doesn't give the other player's character a chance to avoid the attack or to block. Obviously you can't always avoid things, especially if your character isn't skilled in combat.
- Please don't assume things. An example might be if you were kept as an experiment and you assume your character is given nasty food to eat, when in fact the person playing the characters keeping your character prisoner would rather feed them good food to keep them healthy and better for experiments. If unsure, it's probably easier to send a note asking, or waiting until the issue is brought up.
- If you want to leave the roleplay, please write your character out somehow, and tell us why you are leaving. Hopefully something can be worked out, if it is an issue with another player, for example.
- PM me if you have questions!

The air is warmer here, but somewhat stale. And the guards aren't looking upon you favourably at all. The home of the Arena and the labratory working on solving the enigma that is SIGMA, City Eleven is bustling and important.
0 postsThe Arena
The smell of blood tangs in your nose, and sounds of fighting and cheering can be heard ahead.
0 postsThe labratories
People in white coats bustle around you, glaring if you get in their way. The smell of TCP is thick in the air as well as something odd and burnt.
0 postsThe Armoury (bar)
Cigarette smoke creates a thick smog in the air, and several suspicious eyes turn to you as you enter. The whole place looks beaten up, but at least it's cheap.
0 postsKrakow
Home of the Krakowic tribe. Wary Krakowic tribals lurk everywhere, going about their daily work or just chatting. They aren't sure about strangers.
