ImageGood traits:
Assertive / Determined / Humorous / Immaculate / Playful / Sexy / Tactful

Bad traits:
Dishonest / Flirtatious / Impulsive / Jealous / Stubborn / Sneaky / Vengeful

Nature:
Tsukiko is a bombshell of variety. She's hyper and quirky one minute, then she's flirty and sexy the next. Tsukiko has a million Imageother sides to her personality and enjoys breaking the rules. Her personality changes with her mood and surroundings, so she can be described as a very fickle young woman. At a party, Tsukiko is confident, dancing, drinking and very lively. At school she is friendly, casual, but definitely flirtatious. She's the one who always believes that the rules just never apply to her. She loves doing exactly what she's told she can't, even if it gets her in a bit of trouble. If you ever tell her that she can't or Image won't do something, she'll prove you wrong every time. At home or on her own time, her personality is much calmer, but once an attractive guy shows up, cue the sex appeal. Tsukiko acts this way because it is how her mother raised her to be. She was raised to flaunt her looks and to also express herself however she wished. She is a very smart girl, and doesn't hide it. She feels her intelligence makes her that much more appealing, and embraces all aspects of herself. She is very confident in her appearance and Image typically won't get embarrassed when wearing revealing clothes, or none at all. She is a reliable and responsible girl, unless she finds someone to flirt with, then she has been known to cop out of her obligations.

Quirks: ● It's gotten her into trouble numerous times at school, but Tsukiko sees a dirty or sexual reference in practically everything.

● Tsukiko flirts with just about every member of the opposite gender, even Imageif she already is in a relationship.

● Always treats members of the same sex with contempt

● When she isn't socializing, she is constantly chewing Hubba Bubba Max Strawberry Watermelon chewing gum

Likes:

Going on dates
Being a social person, Tsukiko loves going on dates, whether she likes the guy she's going with or not. She often schedules dates just to keep herself Imagebusy, not enjoying her boring home life very much. She never has paid for a date, nor does she intend to. She is a very popular model and uses her status as a means of getting whatever she desires.

Flirting
It's fun to flirt, isn't it? Tsukiko especially loves flirting. She will flirt with just about any cute guy, regardless of his age or whether he has a girlfriend or if she has a boyfriend. She is a natural at flirting, sometimes not even realizing she's Imagedoing it. It's her favorite hobby, and she is quite skilled in the art.

Sex
She isn't afraid to admit it, she's had it before. She has only slept with one guy, but she is a very sexual person. She likes it, and she doesn't see anything wrong with a woman being comfortable with their sexuality in this time period. She firmly detests double standards and constantly challenges them. She is comfortable with her body, and isn't ashamed of showing it.

Image
Dislikes:

Girls

Girls pose a threat to her system. She cannot be spoiled by any guy she wants if he is faithful to someone else. She sees all girls as her enemy and only is seen speaking to social outcast females. All of her female friends have some sort of trait that defines them as unattractive to the common male eye. Any girl she deems attractive receives harsh treatment and she treats Imagethem with contempt.

Rules

Whether it is curfew, or the legal age of consent, Tsukiko doesn't like rules dictating what she can or cannot do. She doesn't care if a boy is fifteen, she will flirt with him, but she would also flirt with a thirty year old guy if he was hot. She doesn't like being told what to do, or what she 'should' do, it enrages her and she will almost definitely rebel.

Double Standards

As stated earlier, Tsukiko hates double standards. She believes in equality, but that doesn't mean she doesn't abuse the perks that some double standards create, like paying for dates. Whether it is nudity, promiscuity, walking alone at night, or even school rules, Tsukiko does not tolerate someone restricting her human rights because she was born female.

Strengths:

~ Flirting ~ Tsukiko has spent a lot of time doing it, especially to work her way up the ranks as a model, and now as a solo artist. She hasn't been turned down by a guy since her fame began, so she can be a bit cocky at times. She knows she is cute and she isn't shy about acting a bit flirty.

~ Modeling ~ She has been a model for a few years and needless to say, she loves it. She has a knack for posing the way a photographer wants and she's is somewhat conceited. She is definitely a narcissist, often checking herself out whenever she believes that no one else is paying attention to her, and sometimes aloud if she's feeling extraordinarily confident.

~ Singing ~
This is new territory for her, seeing as she's only made one album. This is her first, and she took a while to release it, doing her best to reach perfection. She was nervous that no one would buy the album because she'd never sung to a live audience until the past few months, but she's well on her way to becoming a world renown pop idol.

Weaknesses:

She is afraid of being rejected

It hasn't happened yet, but plenty of people have told her it's bound to happen sometime. This is her greatest fear, seeing as she prides herself in her appearance and sexy behavior. She is constantly doing her best to appeal to the opposite sex, doing everything in her power to avoid being turned down.

She doesn't have any female friends

Tsukiko has estranged herself from other girls. This rooted from the fact that she was often bullied or ostracized by her female classmates at other schools, mostly due to her growing fame as a model and the release of her first single.

She is afraid of drowning

No one knows this, but she is terrified of drowning. She doesn't know how to swim, so she avoids deep water at all costs, never going deep enough to where she cannot touch the ground.

"I'm not flirting, I'm just being extra nice to someone extra attractive. ;)"

Family:
From left to right; Seto Kogami (Father), Sakurei Kogami (Mother), Ryuu Yuuka (Maternal Grandfather)

HÎčsŃ‚ÏƒŃÒŻ:
Tsukiko was born to a middle-class Korean family, yet her Father was friends with all of the right people. She spent most of her childhood participating in beauty pageants, and Imagefinally, with some patience and a ton of effort, she was signed to a modeling agency. She isn't certain when it happened, but she formed somewhat of an obsession about being seen as attractive during her time preforming in Korea. Tsukiko was determined to win hot guys over, regardless of what she had to do to achieve that goal.

Then it happened, a boy she was crushing on in junior high finally got a girlfriend. No one in her school knew, but one time Tsukiko saw the two of them together. It crushed her, breaking her heart into a million pieces, and she decided to lash out. She began flirting Imagewith numerous boys, hoping to make her crush jealous, but to no effect. Eventually, she realized she rather enjoyed flirting and continued because she liked it, but also because she strived for attention from the boy of her past.

For a time, she forgot her infatuation. Shortly before her crush switched schools, Tsukiko finally landed a serious boyfriend. She made it public, because he made her forget all of her insecurities. Everything was perfect until her boyfriend was forced to transfer schools because of her fans harassing his family. She began flirting and spending times with random guys to keep her mind off of it, but she still missed Makoto. Though a year ago a horrible accident happened while she was preforming in a new town. A drunk driver hit Makoto's bike, and he died on the operating table. She didn't even find out until the next day, but he had planned to attend her concert to meet her again.

To this day she holds herself responsible for the accident. He was her first and only sexual partner, and it's been almost three years since his death. She stayed loyal for an entire year, but she couldn't take keeping her life on standstill, because it was destroying her and her life was passing her by each day. She knew that she wasn't truly living, but simply existing.

Now she is a Junior in high school, but has no intention of trying to become anyone's girlfriend anymore. She doesn't see anything wrong with polygamous relationships, after all, it's just high school. Tsukiko is willing to do anything she can to get attention from boys. She has an ulterior motive; She loves going out. Casually dating a few guys would allow her to have more fun and do more social activities without going alone like going skating, out to dinner, or seeing a movie.

Tadashi Kiomine

Image

Tadashi had a genuine smile hearing his new date's reaction. "Really? I'm the first..? I would have never guessed. Well, Kio-Kun, I'll make sure that you won't regret saying yes." Tadashi nodded and in agreement already beginning to look forward tot heir date. It was refreshing and very charming for a girl to approach a boy and ask her out. They had a tradition like that in America. <Sadie Bawkins? Something like that.> Either way, it was a dance that the girls were supposed to ask the boy to. Goven his first impression of Arietta he was deducing that she was a girl who did very well fancy her self image and her image to other people. What teenager didn't honestly? He fell into that category himself so no judgement was passed. She could be a lot of fun, the blonde hair was an appealing aesthetic and the exoticism of it all wasn't lost on Tadashi. He tilted his head slightly, genuinely admiring her for a moment as they locked eyes. He held an appreciative smile across his lips. She was very pretty, he had to admit. A soft blush beginning to creep on his cheeks.

He watched Arietta closely, seeing her pupils dilate when he opened his arms up towards her. This was interesting to him. She was processing what he was doing and making her own conclusions and actions towards his actions. He sensed the tiniest bit of hesitation, which gave him a hunch to possibly what her personality was like. But nothing to base anything concrete on, he did just meet the girl (Airetta) after all. "I suppose we'll find out, won't we?" Tadashi placed his right foot back to that he was more stable. He watched Arietta turn and lean back eventually gaining momentum until she was completely falling. Tadashi stood firm and right when the angle of her body became steep, leaving her to truly fall he would catch her. Tadashi let out an anticipatory sigh as their bodies met, making sure that Arietta didn't completely fall. Right when this all happened, the school bell rang bringing things to a fitting end. Tadashi turned his head to look down at Arietta and smiled broadly, showing his white teeth towards her. His eye were completely red now if she was to make eye contact with him. "Arietta-chan, thank you for trusting me. I look forward to dancing and getting to know you more, truly." The last word in his sentence was to project the sincerity in his words, his unique voice carrying the weight of his meaning behind it. He held her in his arms for a moment, just lingering enough for them both to process what just happened, what could happen. Also, Tadashi wanted to try and be romantic. He was a sucker for that kind of stuff, but utterly unique about it all.

He would assist Arietta in rising to her feet, then smiled as she straightened herself up. "This first day back has been very interesting. A large part of that is thanks to you. Would you like to meet after class so we can exchange numbers? My phone is in my locker I'm afraid. Unless you have a better option." He already told her about where his phone was, but it wouldn't hurt to remind the girl. He would let her lead on what to do, he was fair like that. It seemed appropriate seeing as he didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable by suggesting a place she wasn't familiar with. "I suppose I should get a costume together as well! He laughed not having been thinking about that until now. His attention was now fully turned towards the blonde seniorArietta gazing at her in a calm, yet admiring fashion. She had peaked his interest. Tadashi was undoubtedly 'into' her, but for more than looks- but to be honest so far looks was the primary point of interesting with their short history. He'd follow whatever suggesting she (Arietta) gave, going about his business to link up again and exchange numbers and information.

A spark ignited in the back of his mind, remembering that he still needed to talk to his junior Tsukiko not to mention he needed to check up on Gen and also talk to Cassiopeia about meeting again for lunch. Maybe tomorrow he thought. But business first was squaring things out with his date Arietta. Secondly he had to snag his junior (Tsukiko) before she got away to change and leave. <So much to do- so little time.> He would think about all this, all while listening to Arietta not in the least appearing to be lost in thought or thinking of something else. He was an excellent multi-tasker.

Everything seemed to be going rather well for Tsukiko, seeing as she managed to sign up for a club, made a friend, and also had given a promising prospect her number in case he wanted to accompany her to the dance, especially seeing as that said prospect was a hottie like Kazuki. However, she could not fully enjoy it. Something in Tsukiko's gut prevented her from fully taking in the moment, she just wasn't sure what it was exactly. She kept walking, albeit slowly as she tried to save herself from the sudden crash of mood that she was experiencing. Tsukiko decided that it was about time that she should look for a trust fall partner, but as she let her eyes shift around the room, a memory flashed in her mind like a glimpse of an old photograph.

Someone so dear to her crossing her mind at a time like this was certainly unexpected, and she immediately froze stiff as the painfully familiar brunet's smile crossed her mind. The memory was bittersweet at best. Her lip quivered as she recalled the last time she had seen that smile. Tsukiko had no trouble remembering it, in fact, she recalled each detail perfectly. It was as though she was currently staring at a picture painted of that exact expression on his face. She remembered the cherry blossoms, Makoto's warm smile, everything about him. She would never forget that smile, because Makoto's presence was the warmest and most inviting presence that she had ever encountered. She had never met a person so caring and understanding in her entire life. She hated to admit it, but ever since his death a small part of her heart had given up on the idea that she could ever feel love that strongly ever again. How would she ever become that vulnerable again? She couldn't fathom opening up to anyone that much, she couldn't even breathe when the thought crossed her mind.

Of course she still flirted, but this was different. She was technically going on a date, even if she did not know the boy she'd asked to attend with her. This was far more formal and intimate than the far more casual 'dates' she went on. Her voice was trapped in her throat, and tears threatened to spill as they swelled in her tear ducts. Thankfully the bell rang, redirecting her attention just enough to prevent Tsukiko from actually crying. As soon as she was brought back to reality, her eyes darted around, making sure that no one was looking in her direction. How long have I been standing in the middle of the gymnasium? She asked herself in disbelief, suddenly feeling very insecure. Sure, no one in Japan seemed to really recognized her as a celebrity, but one picture could always spark a thousand rumors if anyone who saw it online ever recognized her.

Tsukiko practically strutted to the girl's locker room as if she were walking in a fashion show, but in all actuality she was barely functioning. It took every bit of her energy to not think back to that wonderful smile that had left her frozen in time. She still was unsure how long she had spent reflecting on her past, but she tried not to think about it. As she removed her gym clothes, she listened to the gossip. A lot had happened today and the amount of chatter was a direct reflection of that eventfulness. As she adjusted her clothes, Tsukiko slammed her locker shut and left the locker room, making her way towards the exit as she returned to the gymnasium, but she looked back in hope to find a familiar face. She did not see her cousin, Shiori, in the crowd. She noticed that her cousin would rather avoid her more than anything.. It hurt a little, but she understood there was more to the story, she simply did not know what had changed. Sora was definitely not in the gym any longer, and she was unsure if Kazuki had left or not, so she decided to go outside. She'd have to leave soon if she wanted to get a costume ready in such short notice.

She couldn't help but feel kind of down despite her first day's progress. Living in Japan was far different than the frequent concerts in Seoul where nearly everyone knew her name. She was simply a 'rich foreigner' here. A nobody. It was maddening that next to no one knew her name here. She was back to square one, and would have to build up her fame all over again now that she was in a new country, and that was disheartening. She was lonely more than anything.. not that she'd EVER admit that.

What was I honestly expecting when I moved here? A parade? I knew that it would be hard being in a country where no one knows who I am... I just... She hesitated, finding it hard to fully admit what she was feeling, even if it was simply inside of her head. She had spent so much time ignoring her past in attempt to heal that she was now terrified to open that box of broken glass. As she took a breath of fresh air, she stared to the sky, some of the weight lifting from her chest as she enjoyed the beauty of nature, I guess I just thought it would have been easier than this now that I don't see Makoto every time I look across the street... she thought to herself solemnly as she finally admitted to herself what had been bothering her since she practically fled from Korea. Despite the loneliness she felt here, it was better than the daily flashbacks she experienced in Korea as she passed the numerous places she had gone with Makoto on a daily basis, not to mention the media asking her numerous questions about him after his untimely accident. It seemed she could not escape her past, even if she moved to an entirely new section of the world, not even when she physically left behind every single place and smell that reminded her of him. Sooner or later, she knew she would have to face the reality of her situation, but right now, she could not even begin to move on.

"I don't know. But, I have heard some of the girls still don't have dates."
"Oh, well I guess I don't have a lotta time to lose!" Well, that was unfortunate. Ryou wasn't going to offer up anything.
"They would probably be there at the Dance. I'll accompany you there if you want until you find a girl you want. Saburo tilted his head at this.
"Uh...well thanks, but the text says I gotta go with a date. See?" The underclassman fished the phone from his pocket, pointing the illuminated screen towards Ryou. "Well, I guess I'll run. I mean you gotta have somethin' to do too, right?" Saburo replaced the smartphone to his pocket. Beginning to walk away, he called out past his shoulder as a final farewell. "Wish me luck, alright?"

On the way to no particular destination, Saburo vowed to be on the winning team if it ever came to playing against the basketball captain again. It's not that he disliked Ryou in any way, in fact the Senior was just fine in his eyes. Maybe a bit too serious and flat in personality, but it wasn't like Ryou was going to be here another year. "Man, this school's a lot bigger than I made it out to be..." The boy mumbled under his breathe as he realized how far he had walked. If he had payed attention, Saburo would have realized that he had been doing laps in the hallway in a rectangular shape while on autopilot, but it would seem the Freshman needed the time for himself.

Extracting his phone again, Saburo decided to look through the names of the select invited persons to the Halloween party. He recognized a couple names, Arietta and Ryou, but all the others were new to him. Without warning, the phone began to buzz in Saburo's hand, a single word on the screen. "Dad." "Hello?" An all too recognizeable voice resounded from the other end.
"Saburo! How was school? Do you like the place? It's not free you know!" His father's energetic voice flew out of the phone a bit too loud for the owner's liking.
"It was good, I think it's pretty nice." Saburo replied while pressing the volume down button. "Are you home yet? Katsurou's waiting for you."
"On the way." Was his father's reply. Was that a female voice Saburo heard in the background?

"The business let me go in the company limo on the way back." A short pause ensued, and it sounded like Saburo's father was taking a sip of a beverage. "Oh yeah, I'm meeting with Joseph Prescott multiple times this week, and I thought you'd like to meet his son."
"Joseph Prescott?" The name sounded strangely familiar.
"You know...CEO of Prescorp?" Oh, so that was it. His dad kept on bringing up some sort of business going on with that multi-national company.
"Oh, I know who you're talking about. I didn't know he had a son."
"What?" The sound of bewilderment cut straight through the phone. "It sounded like he knew you. John said he gave you call." Come to think of it, Saburo had received a call and voice mail from an unknown number the other day. Maybe he should start looking into this kinda stuff.

"Anyways, I'm going to Prescorp Japan headquarters tomorrow and on the weekend. I think it would be a great chance for you to start off some connections." Saburo's dad always had advice when it came to future business stuff. Lately, he had been stressing connections.
"Sure dad, it's not like I have anything going on anyways."
"Well that's unusual..."
"Huh?"
"I'll see you at home alright?"
"Okay, bye." Saburo never had to hang up on his dad, because of his business background, Saburo's father had a habit of hanging up quickly.

His feet finding their way outside, Saburo put the phone against his ear once again to hear his new message. "Hello Saburo san, this is John Prescott. I'm sure your father has already informed you of my request to be able to meet you. I could use some company as well as some 'connections' as well." The silky smooth voice paused for a short chuckle. "I hope you can find the time to have a chat sometime this week, and I look forward to possibly meeting you. Goodbye." Weird. How did this guy even find out about some random Freshman in high school? Distracted by his thoughts, Saburo nearly ran into another student (Tsukiko) who seemed just as preoccupied. Able to stop a moment before collision, Saburo took an instinctive step back.

"My bad, I didn't see ya."

...Oh, so now I'm transparent? This day just exceeds my expectations. Worst. Day. Ever. Tsukiko lowered her gaze to her natural eye level and noticed a boy about her own height (Saburo) who seemed to be apologizing to her for something. She had no idea what he had to be sorry for, but decided to grant him her attention for the moment. Actually, now that Tsukiko took a better look, she felt that this guy (Saburo) might have been slightly taller than her. Considering math wasn't exactly one of her strong suits, she didn't put a lot of thought into it. She looked him over, noticing a phone in his hand. She then met his gaze again, fully realizing what was going on now, "No problem... I don't think either of us were paying attention." she trailed off before narrowing her gaze, immediately recognizing the boy from the gym. He had punched the ivory haired pipsqueak. She really didn't care about a stranger, but she was unaware of Sora's involvement, due to being distracted by Kazuki when the boy before her had been punching her first successful friend at this establishment. This was currently in the auburn haired boy's favor, for now.

"You were the one who punched the white haired kid, correct?" she asked in a curious tone which lacked any form of judgement. She did not know the boy (Akira) that this guy assaulted, nor was she aware of his altercation with Sora, so she saw no reason that she could not hold civil conversation. She pulled out her cell, texting for her manager to send a chauffeur. She had to do some last minute shopping for this event. She was thinking sexy and dangerous as a general theme for her costume, but she had several ideas and could not narrow it down until the costumes were actually in front of her. Seeing as he didn't offer his name, Tsukiko decided to be the bigger person, "I'm Kitogawa, Tsukiko, a freshman. I just transferred here today from Korea. Do you have a name...and what year are you? I've realized I'm supposed to call my senior's Senpai.. I'm not that good at this language yet.." she asked in a slightly teasing manner, her accent a dead give away that she was foreign. A smirk formed on her lips as she playfully poked fun at his lack of introduction however, deciding she needed to amuse herself while she was here. Seeing as he did not offer his name first she decided she would play with that a bit, at least until her ride showed up. The boy she'd asked to the date had not called yet, so there was no harm in a bit of aimless flirting, and besides, it wasn't like Tsukiko knew how to spell monogamy, let alone it's definition. She'd forgotten that stuff a long time ago. There was no way that Tsukiko was going to let a man convince her to settle down, she was too young for something like that, and as far as she was concerned, she always would be. Finding true high school romance never even crossed her mind these days. The boy before her wasn't a tall, dark, and handsome man, but he held a somewhat cute appeal for a guy her own height. Typically she avoided men her own height, considering she could never wear heels around them, but no one was around, so she could play with this boy for the moment. It was no harm as long as he knew she'd never look at him, or any other guy for that matter as a prospect for a serious relationship.

Tsukiko pocketed her phone, a little bummed that she had not received a text or call yet. Just what kind of guy kept her waiting like this? It intrigued her for sure, but it was also immensely irritating as well. In Korea, guys never kept her waiting. She was not accustomed to waiting for a guy to text or call her. To be honest, she hated being on this end of flirting when the guy wasn't begging to spend time with her. Am I considered ugly in this country or something? Hell no! That can't be it. Does that guy need glasses? Did he hit his head on his way down? What did I do wrong? was I too forward? Is that a bad thing in this area? I don't know what this culture finds attractive in a woman... This is going to be harder than I thought..

As she grew more and more frustrated waiting for Kazuki to give her an answer, she finally grew self conscious and decided to fish for a compliment, "Oi, cutie, I have a question for you. Is my appearance a turn off around here?" she asked this with a straight face, even doing a 360 slow spin to allow him to check her out. She was giving him permission to gawk at her.... That alone was unconventional, but to Tsukiko, this was an every day process. While waiting for an answer from the auburn haired boy (Saburo) she received a text from her manager, reading it quickly before putting her phone in her pocket again, not even bothering to answer. She'd see him soon enough as things stood. Originality was highly respected among adolescents in Korean culture, but she was not sure if Japanese teens were as rebellious to their customs as their Korean counterparts. I really should try to grow a conscious... nah.. That would only cramp my style.

"No problem... I don't think either of us were paying attention."

Saburo had a second to really see this other person now after the initial run in. The girl wore her pink hair in a double ponytail secured by black and gold ribbons. She looked about his age, a Freshman from the looks of it, and Saburo stood about an inch taller than the female. Her rather attractive structure and looks caught the boy's attention quickly as comprehension of this washed over Saburo's mind.

"You were the one who punched the white haired kid, correct?" The statement caught the Freshman male's thoughts like a knitted sweater snagging on a fishhook.
"Well, I guess you could say that..." he started, preparing to justify himself. If he was going to make something up, he'd have to keep the story consistent. But the attractive inquirer seemed disinterested in pursuing an answer, pulling out her phone and tapping away at it.
"I'm Kitogawa, Tsukiko, a freshman. I just transferred here today from Korea. Do you have a name...and what year are you? I've realized I'm supposed to call my senior's Senpai.. I'm not that good at this language yet.." It wasn't until this moment that Saburo realized that this girl had a noticeable accent. He normally didn't like foreigners much, and his earlier encounter in gym class didn't help much. But in this case, he'd make an exception and play nice. Though he did wonder what made some Korean hotty choose to come to Japan, Saburo didn't voice his thoughts.
"Hi Tsukiko," The boy skipped over the formalities of using 'san' or other tittles. "I'm Inoue, Saburo, and I'm a freshman too." Saburo pondered on whether he really looked that much older for Tsukiko to not guess his grade right. Well, if it was true, it would only be a good thing. "And don't worry about it, you sound fine. At least it's not like you're going to get any worse right?" He hinted a joke towards the girl.

Saburo watched as Tsukiko pocketed her phone, noticing an almost concerned look on her face. She was probably just waiting for a call or something. A spell of silence ensued between the two freshman for a time until Tsukiko decided to break the ice. "Oi, cutie, I have a question for you. Is my appearance a turn off around here?" After speaking, she proceeded to execute a 360 turn, essentially inviting Saburo to check her out. After the show was over, Saburo didn't give Tsukiko a chance to see his genuine reaction, instead he wore a look of thought, as if calculating whether or not the girl was a "turn off". What intrigued Saburo was why Tsukiko was doing this. Obviously, a girl like her would know how attractive others thought she was. She was just that "type". But then again, the "type" also had a lot of fun showing off. The conflict resolved, Saburo decided to formulate a little humor in the situation. "Just a little, it's not a big deal." Saburo spoke as blandly as he could. Letting the look of being in thought leave his face, the boy turned to look at one of the trees nearby.

After a few moments, Saburo let the suppressed smile brighten his features. "I'm just kidding. If anyone told you that they'd have to be blind or something." he said, turning back towards Tsukiko. "Well anyways, what are you still doing here? A lot of people are preparing for some kinda dance for later." A buzz from his phone drew the boy's attention for a moment. It looked like Tsuyoshi was offering him a ride back home. The text could wait for now, Saburo currently had a few alternatives if Tsuyoshi went ahead and left. "Were you not invited or something?" Saburo looked up at Tsukiko from his phone.

Image Image ImageKazuki was very sure that his uncle had a fetish for chains and bondage. How many times has it been? He was always tied in such a BDSM way. Well, it's not that bad since he could get some details for his story line, and experience is the best teacher. The only problem he has with this whole set-up it was done by a guy who is his uncle... That was wrong in many angles. It would have been great if it was done by some girl then they'll have some kinky interactions of the best kind.

Anyway, his mind was getting far away from the current situation he was in. That's right, he was currently tied in a chair again, back at his house and had been said to be prohibited in attending the Halloween Dance Party as a sort of punishment. That was a bummer, really! But, he wasn't the kind to submit himself to anyone. It's never in his nature to succumb and that wasn't going to happen especially when he has a party to attend. That's why with that evil glint within his golden-hued eyes and that all-knowing smile of the devil. He began to formulate his escape plan.

His eyes looked around and he found a way out indeed. It's a good thing that he isn't too keen in cleaning stuff. There on top of the drawers, there's his steak knife. That would be enough to cut his restraints and then skip out of the house before his monstrous uncle get back and watch over him like a hawk. Really, it makes him wonder if his uncle does not have any hobbies or a social life that does not include him in it. Anyway, he began moving his chair towards it by edging it, creating some ruckus, but hey, he was alone, so it's all good.

He soon reached the drawers and with enough bumps on it, the steak knife dropped into his awaiting tied hands. It was also good that his hands were tied at his back. With a few twists of his fingers, he began cutting through his restraints which took quite a while before he was finally free from its clutches. "Finally freedom!" He announced rather loudly as he even do his own form of victory dance (it's not pretty) with the music playing only inside his head.

Then, there was the sound of the front door opening. It meant that his uncle was back. He must hurry as he breeze through his stuff and managed to grab his phone. It was also a good thing he was tied inside his room. All of the things he needed are in one place. When everything had been collected, he made his way through the window and opened it, just in time for his uncle to enter and him without there anymore. "KAZUKI!!!" There was the battle cry as Kazuki smirked at that while making his delightful way of escaping.

He then made a phone call in which a friend of his answered. "Hey dude! I need some help with a costume!" There was an answer on the other end, a rather excited one. It was to be expected as this person really wanted to dress him up for a photo shoot. Of course, he declined, no way he would be posing. Then, there was the question about him possibly having a date, before ending the call. Oh.... yeah, there's that. He haven't really confirmed with anyone yet, didn't he? In that case, he went through the numbers and finally sent a text to that girl (Tsukiko), "You'll come with me to the dance, won't you, beautiful? I'll make it worth your while."

"Hi Tsukiko, I'm Inoue, Saburo, and I'm a freshman too."

The boy's forward way of addressing her piqued Tsukiko's interest seeing as she was well aware that both Korea and Japan stressed not calling someone by first name unless you were close to that said person. Due to these social norms, Tsukiko wasn't accustomed to hearing her first name that often, especially since Tsukiko was her real name. She was quite used to hearing her stage name instead, the name that Johnny had addressed her by earlier that day.

"And don't worry about it, you sound fine. At least it's not like you're going to get any worse right?"

Tsukiko bit her bottom lip before covering her mouth to conceal her light laughter, "I suppose you have a point. I really appreciate the input.." She responded behind her hand, uncovering her mouth once she was composed again. She was used to maintaining a pleasant and aesthetic posture, as well as hiding her mouth to cough or laugh. There were just certain ways that that a pop idol was expected to present herself. She could not break her ladylike persona for an instant, at least not in public.

"Just a little, it's not a big deal."

Tsukiko's eyes widened for a fraction of a second, but she regained her composure with lightning speed. She was definitely not expecting that answer. Her head tilted a bit as she tried to decide whether this was some sort of joke or actual criticism. He seemed to be rather bored with her actually, much to her annoyance. Even Sora had shown interest, and he was certainly an odd duck, more so than the boy standing before her at least. She tried to keep her cool, to control her temper, but she literally was about to blow a fuse. Just what is it about me that is an eyesore in this country?! Tsukiko thought to herself in agitation, but she was disrupted by the boy named Saburo speaking again.

"I'm just kidding. If anyone told you that they'd have to be blind or something."

Her angry thoughts stopped dead in their tracks as she received the much needed compliment, and a smile warmed up her facial expression, "Thank you. I really needed to hear that today... So far it's not been my day. My cousin treated me like I've contracted the bubonic plague.." she sighed as she mentioned Shiori, closing her golden eyes. She had no idea what was going on with her cousin, but being blown off so harshly defiantly stung. She didn't know anyone else here as well as she knew Shiori, which was saying something, considering the the two of them didn't even share a close familial bond in the first place. To be shunned by her flesh in blood in an unfamiliar country was the worst, then there was also the fact that she had not heard back from the bad boy she had approached earlier that day. Perhaps this was why her manager always reminded her to avoid such types of men?

"Well anyways, what are you still doing here? A lot of people are preparing for some kinda dance for later. Were you not invited or something?"

A smile crept across Tsukiko's cheeks, flattered that Saburo thought that not being asked to the dance was her current issue. While it was definitely a close guess, Tsukiko wasn't the type to sit around batting her eyelashes waiting for an attractive young man to approach her. She saw herself more like a predator, not some fluffy little bunny, "I asked someone, actually. I don't feel the need to wait for a man to approach me. Women have two legs and a set of vocal chords for a reason, no?" she quirked an eyebrow at Saburo. He seemed interesting, well, at least he seemed to have a sense of humor that she had never encountered thus far.

"Damsel in distress syndrome is for girls with an inferiority complex." Tsukiko responded with an amused look on her face. She was about to take her leave, but she received a text that immediately caught her attention. She did not know the number, so she clicked on it, allowing her golden eyes to zoom across the digital words. Her mood instantaneously brightened at the good news, but she kept herself under control for the most part.

"You'll come with me to the dance, won't you, beautiful? I'll make it worth your while."

She retread the words just to make sure that she'd read it right before counting down three minutes on the dot. She didn't want to seem too desperate. Once she deemed it socially acceptable, Tsukiko began typing her response, 'I'll be sure to hold you to it. Meet you there?' Tsukiko slowly texted back, completely contrasting how she messaged her manager. Tsukiko wasn't sure if Kazuki meant to pick her up or simply to meet at the party, but she was comfortable with either scenario. She didn't bother using any emoji. She wanted to give off a confident and mature vibe, not to be seen as a flirtatious child who had just discovered the yellow faced icons. Besides, in her experience, everyone interpreted emojis differently, so they weren't exactly safe practice when texting someone unfamiliar.

She then returned her expression to Saburo, "It appears my date was just confirmed. See you around, Saburo." She waved before walking on. It wasn't long before Tsukiko spotted her manager honking the horn for her in case she did not see the his flamboyant Aston Martin.

Tsukiko shook her head and approached the sophisticated manager's car, quirking a brow as the ebony haired male stepped out, adjusting his glasses before meeting her at the passenger door. He immediately removed his black dress coat and draped it over Tsukiko's shoulders, whether she was cold or not. For starters, he and the company could not afford for Tsukiko to fall ill this early into their trip to Japan, but he also couldn't bear the thought after everything Tsukiko had already been through. He wasn't sure how she pushed on, but he didn't want to see any more pressure on her than necessary. Tsukiko raised an eyebrow but shook her head, letting her manager open the door for her before she slid into his car. She spent more time with Miyuki-San than she did with her own parents, but it would be a lie if she said she'd have it any other way.

The two spent the entire evening designing her dress on paper, then making it happen with the company's personal designers. It didn't take a lot of time to tailor the dress to Tsukiko's body, and the piece was a sight to behold. Despite her manager's attempts to persuade her to dress modestly, Tsukiko's dress was more seductive than she could have ever hoped for. It was the perfect combination of sexy and sheer, but it also left a lot to the imagination. Once she had her makeup and costume applied by her professional team, Tsukiko tilted her head back, "Mind applying the fangs, Miyuki?" she handed him the glue and the two frighteningly realistic inserts. He nodded his head and applied the glue to her canine teeth, then carefully pressed on the two vampire teeth.

Tsukiko grinned in the mirror after the glue had dried, more than thrilled with the costume. Her team had definitely outdone themselves. She immediately posted a selfie on Twitter and Instagram, then checked the time, "We should be going." she made a beeline to the car, deciding that she could meet Kazuki somewhere if he wished to arrive at the party together rather than to meet at the dance itself. She was simply impatient and wished to show off her costume as soon as possible.

Image Image ImageWell eventually, Kazuki had managed to score some costume for the party. Though, he did have a hard time twisting his way out of a favor involving him being a model of some magazine or what-not. There's no way he would be doing something tedious as that. It would be a good way making his way with some beautiful models, but the work would be much of a hassle, so no way. Instead, he did offer his friend some help with a girl. It seemed the guy had fallen head over heels over some chick. That was a bummer. When one person does, the fun just ends really, so he has no need for it. Plus, there are really no girls around that can keep his attention that long anyway.

He looked at himself on the mirror and making sure nothing was out of place or something, because, he wouldn't bother about it anymore once the festivities start. He would have other matters to take care of by that time. The ideas flowing through his mind made that devilish smile of his appeared. "I don't even want to know why you're grinning like that. Anyway, don't move around too much, I can't guarantee those things won't fall off with your stunts and all." Kazuki looked behind him and shrugged his shoulders. Well, he does understand his friend's concern, but where's the fun if he doesn't act the way he usually does? He likes his unrestricted actions more than keeping them at bay.

"You expect me to listen?" It was not out sarcasm or anything. It was a really honest question in which was answered with a snort then some words, "Whatever. But you remember our deal right?" He finally looked at his friend with those golden eyes of his and sighed. This guy really got it bad, but whatever that's not his problem at all. "A deal is a deal. I don't break them." He gave a wink and managed to take a peak at the nearby wall clock. It was about time for the dance to start. He really wasn't the kind to arrive on time or anything. Actually, he really could care less as long as he arrived and the party is still happening. That's all good for him.

The only problem about that is... "I guess I need to leave now." He released a yawn and even stretched his arms. He does have a date and it has been confirmed with a reply earlier. Well, he wasn't really that kind who would find it offensive making girls wait. He's not that much of a gentleman and that's something he isn't hiding, but he does have a reason to go now... "Eh? Really? You still have time right? I want your advice." There it goes, the guy would not stop yammering about love life and even occasionally push the issue on him about modeling. He already have many affairs to think about. He doesn't have time to worry about other people except for himself really. Selfish? Well, naturally.

"Nope, no time!" He stated and then made his way towards the door. "Can't make my date wait you know? Thanks! Later!" He was soon off before any responses could be made. That's when he realized that he didn't specify where they would meet or something. Well, he never took girls to anything before unless it was in his bedroom. That gave him a lot of ideas again, but his house right now is a hot zone with his uncle around. Thinking about it, he wondered if his uncle would be stampeding on the dance later. That would be really bothersome. Well, he would get to that when the time comes. Now, about this date... He won't use a vehicle that's for sure. There's no way he would have that and he's not that of a princely type as well, not going to change that.

Image Image ImageKazuki was now walking on the streets wearing his costume for the night while looking at his phone what to write. It was also the main reason most of the bystanders looked at him in amazement and disbelief. Well, he was also rather.... half-naked and he couldn't care less about it. There were also some taking pictures, that point, he made a little prank by glaring at them. He even bared his fangs, literally. It did make those paparazzi scram like there's no tomorrow. This was rather fun and all, but it made him wonder what would the others wear. It would be really interesting if he could see something scandalous. It would be good notes for his book.

For now, he was the big bad wolf of those fairy tales. Well, others could also call him as a werewolf. It doesn't bother him at all. His friend did a good thing with the ears, the hands, feet and even tail. I guess that's what a make-up and prosthetic expert does. He actually looks like the real deal and that well-defined body of his does stand out, especially with a few indications of light scars, not entirely hideous or too heavily scarred. It defined that he does gets into brawls. It only fitted his costume emphasizing that he's a seasoned fighter and had that dangerous presence around him.

Anyhow, he finally decided what to say to his date (Tsukiko). "Meet you at the park in front of Himeji. I want to see you first before anyone else, special privilege, don't you think?" Then, he sent the message. That was done, so he needed to go to that park. It wasn't a long walk as much as he could tell, so he began his trek. It was during his walk that he noticed a certain kind of disturbance. There was some kids around that dark aisle. It wasn't really his problem and people should learn to handle their own problems.

Just like that, he walked passed them. The only thing that made him stop from his walk was when something accidentally rolled in front of him. He took a good look and found it to be a pumpkin basket. Well, they're kids. They must be getting candies or something. He was going to ignore it, but some people walked out and called out to him. "Oi Stupid dog! Give that back!" Now, that wasn't a very pleasant way of calling out to someone. It's true that he has the tendency or more like call people in not so nice ways, but hey, it's different if it's done by him. People could call him a hypocrite, but hey that's relatively true.

"You should mind your mouth." He picked up the pumpkin basket as those golden eyes of his looked at those guys who dared to call him stupid and dog. Those words are only reserved mostly for his uncle. "I do have a hot date, but I can spare time for riffraff. It would be like throwing out trash." He grinned at them showing those fangs and that evil glint in his golden eyes. It was really dangerous as he twirled the pumpkin basket by the handle with his finger. "Punishment time."

In any case, he was soon at the park as he sat on one of the park benches. There were some bruises on him, but nothing major. It was like passable to be some make-up effects, though some of his fur got a bit ruffled and all. Well, it's nothing that out of place. It fits him and also his werewolf persona, though he wonder if those guys he beat up would probably be sent to the hospital or those scared kids would rat him out. Well, like that matters. He would get to it as he leaned on his seat and waited for that date of his to arrive.

"Meet you at the park in front of Himeji. I want to see you first before anyone else, special privilege, don't you think?"

Tsukiko, being the type of girl she is, had her manager drive her the entire distance. In the past she might have taken a bus or the train, but since becoming a high profile individual she had grown cautious. Back in Korea she had received several anonymous letters from manic fans, many of which who threatened to kidnap her to keep her all to themselves. While she did not have the same popularity here, she did not wish to test the ability of those morbid individuals. Perhaps it was paranoia, but she preferred safe over sorry any day.

Tsukiko licked her lips, the two fake fangs poking into her gums every now and then, irritating her immensely. Her manager chuckled, adjusting his glasses as he drove to the appointed destination. Tsukiko read over the text, smiling a bit. The words were far from romantic, but it wasn't like she was looking for anything like that. In all honesty, all Tsukiko wanted was to pass time and feel special, and the text was enough to ensure both. After giving it appropriate thought, Tsukiko started texting back, "Of course. I'd expect nothing less. I will be arriving shortly. Until then~" she sent the text before shutting off her phone. She glanced over to her manager as he parked the car and stepped out to open the door for her. While alone, Tsukiko let out a soft sigh to compose herself, her game face on when the older man opened the passenger door.

"Mae Seung Jin..."

Concern was evident on his features, and she knew that her manager did not want to leave her alone in a creepy place such as this, but she pushed past him and stepped out of the car, leaving her jacket behind, "I can't live my life afraid of everything that goes bump in the night." She sighed, rolling her eyes at the man. She knew he cared more about her than her own parents seemed to, hell, he practically qualified as an older brother by now, but she was not interested in a touching moment. She merely wanted to meet her date and let him distract her from all of her regrets for the night. She had a feeling he wasn't looking to get to know her on a personal level either, so this seemed to be a mutually beneficial setup. She honestly believed it could become a very beautiful arrangement for whenever they both were occasionally bored, if her presumptions about him were correct.

"I'm not ten, I can trick or treat on my own." She snapped violently, her temper flaring when her manager attempted to follow her and talk her out of pressing onward. Her golden eyes narrowed, and she glared daggers into his skull, daring him to take another step toward her, "Go home. I won't say it again." With that, she turned her back on him, her free flowing pink hair dancing behind her as she left the car in the distance. She entered the park, keeping a steady pace as she looked around for her date. It took a moment, but she was confident she found him when she noticed a man in a werewolf costume sitting on a bench. She approached, smirking a bit as she grew near. The blood splatters on her body giving her expression a somewhat dangerous appeal, "Hm, interesting. Supernatural strength, Enhanced aesthetics for drawing in unsuspecting victims, Enemies by nature, Each fatal to one another.." She trailed off, describing their choice to dress as a vampire and a werewolf. Everyone would probably think that the two had planned it, but as far as she could recall she never mentioned what she planned to wear to Kazuki. She shamelessly looked him over, her golden brown eyes slowly drifting down his body, then back up as she allowed herself to fully take in the view. She was however taken by surprise when she noticed... bruises? She had done several music videos with fake bruises, so she wasn't sure if was makeup or reality. She brushed aside the worry that she felt and decided to compliment her date before he lost interest, "Roughed up are we? I can dig that. Hot." She stated in a seductive honey sweet tone, more than satisfied with his look. Tsukiko did not feel that it was necessary to say much else, instead her gold eyes sparkling with mischief and anticipation, "I hope I didn't keep you waiting. Shall we get going, or did you have something else in mind?" She grinned, fully showing off her realistic fangs for the first time. She quirked a flirtatious pink brow as she asked her final question. The rest was up to him. Your move, Ka‱zu‱ki-kun.. she thought to herself, mischievous thoughts already plaguing her mind. It wasn't good for her health to be this close to such delectable eye candy, and yet, she was never going to complain.

Image Image ImageStuck in his little head as he waited, Kazuki closed his eyes for a moment. It seemed he was recalling a certain memory because of that pumpkin basket and scattered candies on the ground. It was really faint. He couldn't even make out the faces or the voices, but it was warm and that alone meant it's a good memory, right? Anyway, he doesn't want to think or reminisce anymore. The past is just that, history. It's also a good thing that he ended his own and very rare inner soliloquies as a girl's voice caught his rather wandering attention.

Those golden eyes that has the hue rivaling that of the sun and its ambient glow like that of a predatory feline, ironic as he's a werewolf, locked on its prey with precision. She was talking about supernatural, aesthetics, and fatality. He really wasn't listening as he studied her from head to toe and he wasn't hiding that fact at all. His eyes roamed freely, predatory and unrelenting as it penetrated the guise as he preferred to see what he deemed the finer assets of a woman. That smirk of his became a seductive one with the touch of something devilish. He likes the merchandise.

"Ravishing." He licked the corner of his lips, precariously showing that glistening fang as he stood from the bench. It was also for the fact, there was a smudge of blood there. A guy managed to punch him there, well he made sure that he gave payback and it was hellish. Anyway, dual purpose! This girl does know how to have fun, good. It meant he won't be annoyed with leeching calls of affection from her part. This is after all just fleeting desire, animalistic link so they say. He closed the distance with but one step, his long legs helping in that part. His hand gently held her chin, there faces but a hair strand apart.

To him, the sexual innuendo in his voice had been inherent for him. It comes out so naturally that it's like the silken caresses of the moon. His breath had the faint scent of smoke and mint. He leaned in as if about to kiss her, but he went passed that and stopped just before her ear. "I already want to gobble you up right here, right now, Vampire-chan." His other hand made its way around her back as those sharp claws of his, traced the lines of her dress with such a feathery touch to further imply his words of gobble. He parted his lips and made it appear as if he's about to bite her ear, but made do with her earring, just a playful tug.

He then pulled away, releasing her from his flirting hold, providing a good distance between them. "But, we're fatal to each other, aren't we? A bite between us would be death." He placed a finger on his lips. It seemed that he was indeed listening to what she was spouting about their current characters for the night, a vampire and a werewolf. He then leaned again in a rather quick manner. His lips awfully close to the crook of her neck. "There's the dance and I even disposed trash along the way to make it to you."

Every word he speaks of made his breath like warm feathery strokes on her skin. "All that hard work, it's a shame if I can't show you off now. Isn't that right?" He playfully blew on her skin to make that point. Then, he pulled away again in a sharp manner. "Waiting is part of the thrill, don't you think?" He then stretched his limbs and winked at her. "Shall we go, Vampire-chan? Before, I take a bite of that forbidden fruit." It's time for them to show up and liven the party as he nudged his head towards Himeji Castle.

"Ravishing. I already want to gobble you up right here, right now, Vampire-chan."

She was immediately intrigued, her body slightly shivering under his claws, "Is that so? Don't get my hopes up, ƌkami-san.." She knew that the word ƌkami could mean wolf, so she went with it. She also was painfully aware of the fact that she insinuated she was somewhat of a masochist. At the tug of her earring, her breathing hitched for a moment, fantasies not suitable to speak aloud in a public venue flashing in her mind, "Tease." She replied breathlessly, obviously affected by his ministrations.

"But, we're fatal to each other, aren't we? A bite between us would be death."

To her surprise, Kazuki had actually paid attention. She wasn't sure he was interested in her ramblings about supernatural mumbo jumbo. Tsukiko roughly bit the inside of her cheek to keep the expression from forming on her face, not wishing to offend her date. Though she did smirk a bit, "Isn't the danger what makes life exhilarating though?" To an extent, she meant that. She enjoyed bad boys, and they could prove to be quite dangerous, but she did not enjoy the dangers of walking alone at night or entering a dark alleyway by herself. This flirtatious thrill, the danger of a boy she knew was no good for her, that was as far as Tsukiko's thrill seeking went, but it wasn't like this boy would ever find out. It wasn't like they were serious about each other. A night of fun with this boy would reveal very little about her. Tonight, like any other night she spent with cute boys, she was not concerned with semantics or telling the absolute truth. She wasn't aiming to find her 'one true love' or whatever bullshit Hollywood, K-dramas, and Japanese anime were selling these days.

"There's the dance and I even disposed trash along the way to make it to you."

She quirked a pink brow at the mention of trash, her interest immediately piqued, "So you just got in a fight? She eyed him over one more time, albeit far more slowly and impressed. She didn't really see many signs of an altercation aside from the bruises she had seen on him earlier, which were now confirmed to be genuine. Her golden eyes returned to meet his once he began speaking again, those bright orbs of hers focused on him entirely.

"All that hard work, it's a shame if I can't show you off now. Isn't that right?"

She wasn't about to admit that her costume was the result of her manager and makeup crew. She decided to take the compliment and let him keep believing that she'd managed to pull it off all on her own. She shivered under his breath, but frowned as he withdrew from her once more. All this teasing was getting her in a very pouty mood, "There you go again.. playing hard to get."

"Waiting is part of the thrill, don't you think?"

The wink brought smile to her lips, before responding, "Depends on what you are waiting for in my opinion.." She replied in a confident tone, closing her eyes for a moment after. If Her manager was afraid she'd find things that go bump in the night, he was correct. The boy standing before her was definitely bad for her, but that was the fun in it. No great story ever began at church. This was exactly the distraction she had been looking for. Anything at all to get her mind of him and his smile. That smile that she would never, ever see again.

"Shall we go, Vampire-chan? Before, I take a bite of that forbidden fruit."

"I suppose, but I'm sure that option two would prove to be far more exciting." Tsukiko responded with a well timed sigh, allowing herself to be swept away by his dangerous and intoxicating bad boy behavior. It was easy to forget the horrible memories that haunted her when she was making reckless decisions. Following Kazuki, she smiled when they arrived on the scene, "Definitely should have chosen the latter." She stated aloud, though there was some hope for the night. She noticed the tall dark and brooding male (Ryou) from earlier that day, the same one that had caught Kazuki in the gym. He was exposing a generous amount of skin. There was an adorably shy samurai (Kei) asking out a short young girl (Mai) as well as a boy near her own height dressed as a Neko (Akira). Her golden eyes lifted to gaze upon Kazuki's face, "Shall we grace them with our presence inside?." she inquired. She was superstitious, but it wasn't so bad being at this creepy castle when she was with a guy like Kazuki. She began to wonder if she would run into Sora, Shiori, or Johnny, or Saburo. Tsukiko had no way of knowing that two of the four were already inside of Himeji Castle.

Image"Thank you. I really needed to hear that today... So far it's not been my day. My cousin treated me like I've contracted the bubonic plague.."

"Oh..." Saburo forced out the word. "That's not great." Saburo knew what it felt like to be treated like that by a family member. Unfortunately, he'd probably run into her again soon enough with dad and brother home. In all honesty, he could care less about his sister, but she wasn't one of those people who just went away. She always had a reason to come back. He wasn't really hurt by it or anything, just extremely irritated, and that was probably where he and Tsukiko differed in thought. That difference would apply to her view on why "Women have two legs and a set of vocal chords" Saburo always thought it was a bit strange when a girl was the one to ask. It just felt sorta...off.

"Damsel in distress syndrome is for girls with an inferiority complex." Tsukiko quipped. Damn. She wasn't giving other girls a break. Saburo replied with a shrug. But who cares? She's hot.

Just then, his classmate zoned into her phone, giving him a chance to check his own device. His lock screen was littered with a couple texts from Tsuyoshi, but he skimmed over them to get to a voicemail from his father. Jesus, his dad was literally the only person alive who left voicemails anymore. Saburo placed his finger on the sensor over his phone's home button after sliding right on the notification from his father. He put the phone to his ear the moment after it unlocked using the fingerprint sensor.

"Hey Saburo, just letting you know I'm coming to pick you up." His father's voice rang. "I just forgot to mention it, and your school's not much of a detour from the route home. So I'll see you in a few, bye." Saburo was just about to call his brother to do just that, but his dad would be here in a fraction of the time, so it all worked out for the better. As if on que, Saburo's phone began to buzz from a call from his brother.

"Hello?"
"Need a ride back home?"
"Naw, dad said he'd pick me up on his way home."
"Oh, alright...Say, does Airdalen still do the Halloween dance thing?"
"Uh...yeah..." The younger sibling hesitated. "Yeah, they still do it."
"You figure out a costume yet? 'Cause there was this ad on the internet, and their stuff looked pretty good. They have speedy shipping and everything, you want the link?"
"Um...sure. I'll check it out on the way home."
"Alright cool, I'll see you when you get home."

"It appears my date was just confirmed. See you around, Saburo." His new acquaintance's voice jerked the boy's attention pack to where he was.
"Oh, alright. See you around!" He called after the Tsukiko, who had already begun to walk away. After the girl was well gone, Saburo was left with nothing but his own thoughts. What a day. Looking back, Saburo could hardly say he had thought it would go this way. At least 3 new enemies, and no new sure allies. Well, he had never backed down when the odds were stacked against his favor, why would he do that now? On top of that, there was hell on it's way the next day. Maybe he'd just skip...

The rumble of the oncoming automobile brought the shattering of the boy's personal thoughts and raised a new one in place of the old. Father was here. The shining Lexus SUV slowed to a stop in front of Saburo, and the doors unlocked with an audible sound. Opening the door, Saburo climbed into the front passenger seat of the luxury SUV.
"Hope I didn't keep you waiting too long, how long did you have to stand there by yourself?"
"It wasn't so long, I was talking with someone and they just left like a minute ago."

On the car ride home, Saburo ended up browsing around the website his brother had sent him for some time. By the time he had arrived home, Saburo had found something he could settle on. When his father caught the younger son's intention to buy a costume, he insisted on taking the boy to a rather high end place to get the costume and get it tailored for a perfect fit. This was usually how things played out. After a long business trip, Dad would usually go a bit above and beyond when it came to buying things. It was sort of his way of making up for the lost time. As a result, by the time he had to leave for Himeji Castle, Saburo looked like he was on his way to graduate from a military officer's academy. The uniform looked very real, not to mention expensive. An authentic looking pistol replica adorned his right side, and a dull, but very real European dress sword decorated his left.

The pleasent grace period given to the Junior was short lived, and before he knew it, his father had parked his car outside of the wondrous castle where the dance was being held. After taking a moment to adjust his peaked cap, Saburo waved his ride away and walked stiffly towards the castle. Hopefully the blue haired stranger from earlier (Sora) that day wouldn't be there. Well, it wasn't like the other guy would be able to beat him up or anything...at the very least. He saw the short girl with the stutter (Mai), the captain of the basketball team (Ryou), Arietta, and...oh Christ. The scholarship girl from gym (Yuuki). Saburo didn't recognize anyone else, and it wasn't like he was on especially good terms with anyone. He'd just have to be the loser standing by himself for a time, if not the whole time. Saburo let out a sigh.

Image Image ImageWhen they arrived at the courtyard, Kazuki scanned the crowd, not for familiar faces, really. He could care less about those guys. They were not important to him than his own self-interest. He had a whole other agenda on mind as he smirked at the sight of the women wearing such various types of costumes. His imagination was running wild at the many instances he could use it for. It was really a good thing he escaped the clutches of his overbearing uncle that seemed to have grown-up in an era where fun was not a word at all. That uncle of his, better not be here or something. It would be best to enter the castle already, he could have all the chit-chat later if his date proves to be boring and all.

"Definitely." He answered as his attention returned on Tsukiko. There was his signature smirk as he grabbed hold of her wrist and pulled her towards him. He then wrapped his free arm around her, securing her against his body with one of their arms still up in the air. His face awfully closed to hers. The scene indeed got the attention of the students who were still present at the yard. Some whistled at them, took pictures, and even cheered Kazuki on, well, he was quite known for his uninhibited actions. "Just remember, Vampire-chan," His breath so seductively close to her lips, for the fact his lips were just a hair strand away. "You're my mine for the night."

"KAZUKI!" He knew it, that uncle of his won't just let it down. It would be good for that man to take it a rest, all this anger can get to the heart, doesn't that man know that? It's not his damn fault that school was boring earlier, that was entirely the school's fault in his personal opinion, but somehow, they had decided that his voice doesn't matter much on the grand scale of things. "Okay, Vampire-chan, hold on tight, alright?" He then unceremoniously carried her into his arms and sprinted through the courtyard. The other students were surprised as Kazuki zoomed passed them while carrying Tsukiko. It was like a scene where Big Bad Wolf had taken Red Riding Hood from the Huntsman or something.

"Hey guys! Be a champ and stall that raging rhino, okay!" He shouted to the others which were, Ryou, Akira, Arietta, and some guy (Tadashi), a small kid (Mai); oh that's his junior, "Oi, Shrimp! Take care of the Math Teacher for me, I'll treat ya later!" He didn't notice the presence of the newcomers, Skylar, Kei, and Bishop as he passed by them in record time. It was also quite the scene with Kazuki's speedy and athletic stunts. He was soon inside the castle, which was a safe zone. Since, those are only paired can enter. He read that earlier, despite his seemingly no-care interest on what he doesn't like, he was pretty observant.

"We're on the clear!" He smiled at that knowledge, with a boyish grin. He then looked at Tsukiko. "You all good, Vampire-chan? Did I frazzle you?" He said with that devilish eyes of his, before putting her down. "You're quite the piece of work, aren't you? Making me work hard." That was true, as beads of sweat could be seen forming on his forehead and a bit on his chest, but nothing excessive. As he was settling her down on the floor, he gave her a playful nip at the nick, just one though before finally letting her go. He then stretched his limbs, it was quite the show as it also displayed his muscle definitions fully from the exposed upper body. "It might just mean you're worth to die for, huh, Vampire-chan. So, wanna take a look around? or just head to the hall and party."

"Blondie-kun! It's me! Skylar!" "Uhhhhh-" "Bet you couldn't guess it was me, huh?" Bishop gave her a once over, thinking about it. Truth be told, he would be 90% sure it was here, because of the horns and the sounds of her voice which he was now familiar with. "Aaah, nope. Not at all, you got me. Hehe." He lied and rubbed the back of his head as the blonde fox ears on his head twitched. For a homemade costume, his grandmother did some amazing work. Bishop opened his eyes again to see her (Skylar) stripping off her ghost costume coming out a sexy lingerie cop. His mouth gaped causing him to blush deeply, quite surprised. "So what's shaking Blondie?" He gulped for a moment quite distracted for, obvious reasons. The look was attractive, well to any 15 year old boy a girl in basically what could be considered lingerie would be attractive, or at least garner a lot of attention. But when he came back to, he huffed looking back into Skylar's eyes although he was still blushing. "My- my name is Bishop. Bishop Trander." <This is my date? Oh my god, what if my parents find out.> He knew they wouldn'ty disapprove, quite the opposite actually. His family was all about diversity and being different, his family definitely was. At least in his opinion. He began to wonder about Skylar's family. He still had no idea that she was an exchange student from the U.S.

Bishop sweatdropped when it seemed that Skylar's attention was drawn to something else. Fortunately- or unfortuantely it was something about him. "I'm really digging the wild look!" He blinked looking over himself, not sure what piece of his costume was necessarily 'wild' save for the animal ears and tails. When he looked up Skylar was out of his view. "Oh no you didn't!" "Didn't wha- hey that's my tail!" Bisop's ears perked up in shock only to lay back as she pounced on his tail to cuddle one. He blushed glowering at Skylar but he wasn't a very intimidating person, being so young and kind looking. He began to look around to see if people were watching, some were with amused looks but most were heading to the courtyard. He looked back to Skylar not really sure what to say, seeing the strange girl cuddle one of his many tails. Skylar was like the exact opposte of Bishop. She was loud and 'out there' in your face and unashamedly herself. He admired that, but was finding it a little hard to keep up. At least for now.

Music got the blonde's attention turning to look inside the courtyard, not recognizing the song but already enjoying the rock music. "Aahhh.. Skylar-san? You, wanna head inside and see the actual party?" Bishop sweadropped again with his ears flattening finding her still cuddling with his tail. Out of the corner of his eye, a familiar face sprinted by dragging a girl behind him (Kazuki & Tsukiko). He blinked not really sure what to think, all that he knew was that guy (Kazuki) always seemed to be running from something or to something.... There was a metaphor in there somewhere. As his view panned around, he spotted his friends (or, people he believed to be his friends? Maybe?) Mai/u] and [u]Akira. It looked at though someone (Kei) was asking Mai out which made him smile. Now he had to worry about Akira finding a date too. He felt a little bad for getting a date before his newly made friends, but he had no intentions of ditching them for the dance. He wasn't that kind of person. He awaited for Skylar to gather herself together, with his tails finally not moving for the moment. He wasn't so sure how this night was going to go. But he knew that it was going to be interesting to say the least. Especially for his first school dance.

"Definitely."

Tsukiko smiled, but her calm expression was broken when she was drawn towards her date by the wrist. She was aware of his arm around her body, tilting her head up to look at him, despite their situation. This was not her first rodeo either, so she could function despite her embarrassment and enjoy the thrilling situation. She was slightly worried as students took pictures, seeing as she was a pop idol and this was a rather compromising position. She decided to overlook it, seeing as a certain amount of bad media coverage was good for a celebrity's reputation.

"Just remember, Vampire-chan,"

She shivered lightly as his breath brushed against her skin, tempted to kiss him then and there, but that would bring unnecessary attention. Besides, she wished to wait until the end of the night before making her own move. Though she was growing quite curious. What on earth did she have to remember? They had barely spoken to each other, except for their extensive flirtatious remarks. Did I miss something important? Tsukiko thought to herself, trying to quickly re-run over their conversation before he could become offended.

"You're my mine for the night."

She was genuinely surprised by this, blushing a bit. She honestly did not expect for him to be so territorial, especially since it was only for one night, "I feel sorry for any girl dumb enough to challenge my claim tonight as well." Tsukiko responded in a dangerous tone, her voiced laced with honey despite the serious quality of her words. While she was not a fighter, Tsukiko was not beyond sabotage to get what she wanted. While she was not outwardly mean, she did not like to be challenged in the romantic department.

"KAZUKI!"

Eh? Who is yelling...? Consequently, Tsukiko's attention was torn from Kazuki when she heard a voice shouting for him in the distance. She had never seen the man before, but he certainly was not a student and he seemed well acquainted with her date. She was about to ask about the man yelling at Kazuki, but was surprised when her date spoke up first.

"Okay, Vampire-chan, hold on tight, alright?"

Hold on..? She thought to herself, very confused by his words. That is, until he shamelessly lifted her without hesitation into his arms. She gasped out, despite herself, a little embarrassed by her reaction. It had not been the first time she had been picked up by a man, but she certainly had not been prepared for it this time. Before she could receive answers, her date began to flee with her in tow, so she wrapped her arms around his neck. Well, this was an interesting date, that much was for sure.

"Hey guys! Be a champ and stall that raging rhino, okay! Oi, Shrimp! Take care of the Math Teacher for me, I'll treat ya later!"

Tsukiko did not even get a chance to see who Kazuki had been referring to, but she was grateful that no one got hurt while her date decided to dash away with her to avoid the math teacher? Why was a teacher chasing him anyhow? Once inside the castle, Tsukiko looked over Kazuki's shoulder, realizing the teacher was nowhere in sight. Her dress needed adjusting and more than likely her hair as well, but she said nothing, deciding to conceal her high maintenance nature when it came to her appearance.

"We're on the clear!"

"So it seems." Tsukiko noted as she checked one last time to be absolutely certain, laughing a bit once she was sure it was clear. She had never fled from a teacher, much less been carried away from one. She truly wondered what he had done to be chased so dogmatically by one of the staff. She was captured by his grin, shaking her head gently. Running from that teacher vaguely reminded Tsukiko of running away from paparazzi, something she had done often in Korea with the help of her manager and bouncers.

"You all good, Vampire-chan? Did I frazzle you?"

Once on her own feet she straightened out her dress before smirking up at him, "Reminds me of my job to be honest. I can handle more chaos than you give me credit for, ƌkami-san." She replied, considering she did a lot of her own stunts in her music videos. She did not allow dancers to do her moves, and she did not condone stand-ins, especially in the music industry. "If it would feel better we could develop a safe word." She teased playfully, referring to his dash, knowing quite well that her words could be mistaken for a far more risquĂ© topic if anyone were to overhear their conversation.

"You're quite the piece of work, aren't you? Making me work hard."

If only he knew.. the pop idol thought to herself. She was not sure why she decided to conceal her profession from her date, but she did find amusement in the fact that he was working hard, even when under the assumption that she was a normal girl. In all respects, if he were any less of a man, he could have abandoned her when the math teacher came after him, and Tsukiko was well aware of that, so his words had a strange way of making her feel special. She chose to put aside that he might have said those exact words to many other girls, "Hard work reaps the best rewards, or so I've heard." She countered with a devious glimmer in her honey eyes. However, what happened next took the confident pop idol completely by surprise, and she rarely found herself unprepared. Both of Tsukiko's eyes shut as a muffled high pitched noise escaped her lips which were tightly pressed together after Kazuki's teasing attack on her neck. She opened one after she was certain he would not repeat his flirtatious assault, just in time to get a front row view of his abs display. She took a step closer, licking her fake glued on fangs. She nearly responded with a counterattack, but her nefarious thoughts about the eye candy standing before her in the form of a man were quickly interrupted at the mention of partying.

"It might just mean you're worth to die for, huh, Vampire-chan. So, wanna take a look around? or just head to the hall and party."

Giving it a moment of thought, Tsukiko glanced to the ceiling as she weighed her options. She wasn't that interested in looking around, and she did NOT want to come across as TOO easy, "I'm flattered, I assure you. Well, the music is fast paced right now, so how about we dance..?" She responded, taking a few steps towards the song she overheard. She stopped once there was a little distance between herself and her date and turned on her heel gracefully to face Kazuki once more. She allowed her golden eyes to meet his with a grin on her red lips before she made one last statement, "After that bite, I don't think the owner of the castle would appreciate us being alone in here." She wasn't sure if he was aware, but her neck was a soft spot for her, and now she had increasingly become tuned in to their flirtation by tenfold. To be quite honest, Tsukiko was the one who did not trust herself to be alone with him so soon after he had bitten her sweet spot. Her decision had nothing to do with the castle's owner, but her date did not need to know that. She continued on toward the music, hoping her date would follow.

Image Image ImageThis girl certainly knew how to entertain that much he could say. It's a good thing so she could have his attention, because everyone knew, his attention span was no better than a fruit loop. For that, he smirked, it seemed he would have a night without much trouble in regards to fun, well minus that mishap with his uncle, but hey, that's part of the occasional fun. "Well, I don't think you would have to worry about that Castle Owner soon enough." He licked his lips with an expression befitting that of a predator eyeing its delectable prey. It's good that she responded to the flirtation well along with the teasing, but that would quickly grow old with him if she doesn't deliver, so to speak, but the night is young, isn't it?

He caught up with her and then playfully traced a finger across the skin of her arm. "If a dance it is, then a dance it would be for Vampire-chan." His finger stopped at her hand in which he took hold of it and lowered his head in a gentlemanly bow. "Let me have this dance then." There it was his smile that revealed those pearly white teeth of him just enough of a peek along with those installed fangs, giving off the dangerous spark. After that, he whisked her away towards the main hall where the music was coming from. It was upbeat and if he wasn't mistaken quite popular nowadays.

There he could sense the people's look on them. He was after all half-naked and with his rather seductive companion, well why would they not look. He even recognized a few faces like that of Gen dancing with a guy (Johnny) in jumpers. Scratch that, it must be a game character where there were mushrooms and all that jumping. Anyway, it didn't matter. He was rather interested in Gen's chosen attire. That was quite sharp and tickled the fancies. He would like to have a bite of that, but, that's right. "Shall we show them how it's properly done?" Playfulness oozed about him, but there's that wrap of mischief hinted in those eyes. Nothing will ever be simple when he's involved.

Without any more delays, he pulled Tsukiko to the dance floor. When it comes to dancing, he wasn't ignorant. He does knew a few formal ones since it's helpful dealing with the socialites and also it's an easier hunting ground for casual fun in those kind of circles. More than that, he's more suave to dances more on the intimate and sexual side, with all of his partying at the clubs. He would make good use of that right now. Once, they're situated at the dance floor, he further pulled Tsukiko towards him with their skin touching against one another or rather against his.

"Don't shy away, Vampire-chan." He didn't whisper this to her ears rather he spoke it face-to-face for her with but a centimeter away from each other's lips. His breath blowing ever so faintly upon hers, while those golden eyes of his glowing with this predatory gleam. His hand traveled to her back where he playfully traced his fingers along the spine while moving to the beat of the music in such a closeness that would make anyone blush or considered them to be lovers. His other hand held hers and made her turned around, after that he quickly embraced her from behind. His face now positioned at the crook of her neck, while he continued to sway rather sexually with the music. "Vampire-chan, won't you moan for me?" Without fail, he teasingly bite onto her neck, not caring who could see.

Arietta was a pure delight to be with at this dance. She was adorably flirty, just as engaged in him as Tadashi was in her (Arietta), with everything from the costumes to the attention they gave each other so far in the night. The two walked through the the castle hallway being safe from any sort of booby trap seeing as they followed the rules tonight. That didn't mean that they weren't sparred from watching other students succumb fall victim to the evicting traps and devices set in place. It seemed a bit strange, but that wasn't something for him to judge on. His focus for the night was his date, and his friends. Speaking of which, he was curious to what Gen was up to. He hoped that she (Gen) found a fitting date for her. She deserved at least that much, probably a person he didn't know. Gen was a very inviting and gracious young woman that could charm her way into anyone's favor. Listening to the music, Tadashi closed his eyes letting the reverberations of the sounds waves spread through his body igniting his nerve endings into a frenzy if bliss. He knew this song, it was easy. He didn't look the type- well maybe he did. He wasn't entirely sure how people perceived him or his taste in music. Tadashi's relationship with music was extremely close, it nearly consumed his entire life outside of school. But this relationship wasn't very public. At least not until recently, but to call it 'public' was an over-exaggeration. No one that he knew here at Airdalen knew of his musical ambitions, or of his natural talent. He had friends in Canada that knew him exclusively from the music they all shared together. Slowly he glanced towards Arietta. He wondered what her talents her, as well as her ambitions and passions. That'd come with time however after this date. But a boy couldn't help but wonder.

He lingered, seeing what his adorably blonde date (Arietta) had up her sleeve. She gleaned in on the music being played from the dance floor, and invited him to dance. "I like this song, let's dance, okay?" Tadashi smiled letting her break away from their grasp and back away from him. "That sounds perfect." Tadashi his eyes growing back to full red watching her dance. He didn't have to travel too far when she (Arietta) waved him over provocatively. He would keep it to himself, but Arietta brought up more provocative thoughts in his mind. As the chemistry between them bubbled, the chemicals of satisfaction in his brain being released Tadashi joined his date in dancing. He never considered himself an extremely gracious dancer, but he had a sense and a half of rhythm so dancing was at least easy for him. Tadashi relaxed his shoulders and swayed to the music moving in close to Arietta under the lights. There was always something pleasant about dancing in an atmosphere like this, that's why he preferred out door music festivals. He didn't mind in door, but the freedom of outside couldn't be beat and often the sky castes the greatest background for music.

Out on the floor, his red eyes would look into Arietta's the contrast very noticeable between them. In the back of his mind he enjoyed the contrast in their costumes as well. A priestess and vampire. Tadashi of course wasn't going to stare at Arietta the entire night, glancing around he spied Gen dancing as well with a very tall boy, who in the dark and from a distance could be mistaken as a senior just from stature alone (Johnny). The only reason he knew it was her, was because of the hair color. Other than that, he was internally amazed at how accurately she captured the look of Jinx from that online game League of Legends, it was humorously fitting that she was dancing with a tall Luigi. He would wave towards Gen and Johnny in hopes of catching their attention but wouldn't interrupt her dancing. <I will have to catch up with them later in the night.> He glanced towards Arietta to gauge her body language and adjust accordingly. A good date was always attuned to his or her date and he wanted. There were a good many distractions tonight. With the arrival ofCassiopeia and Aeon, people starred at something but he wouldn't have any clue it was them since he was focusing on dancing. Of course others were starring at Kazuki and Tsukiko, either out of awe, jealous or an odd assortment of teenage hormones- the night was only young and getting older as time went on. But for now, Tadashi's only priority's were the music in his ears and the girl swaying in front of him. Everything was optional.

Among the entering students, Johnny spotted that one blonde girl who appeared to be paired up with that one dude with the purple eyes. Their costumes, like most everyone else who wasn’t the cheapskate Johnny, looked excellent. The blonde appeared to be some sort of priestess, while the other donned some sort of Victorian-era outfit. Johnny, however, did not know the meaning of “Victorian”. He did, however, see when Purple-eyes waved, and returned the greeting gesture. The music was too loud for his deep voice to carry over the distance.

Gen’s eyes followed Johnny’s to see what had caught his attention and also waved over to them a little surprised to see the two together. She knew Tadashi back from early high school but she was confident that Arietta was not attending at the time that he was. Well, it didn’t matter. Gen had only just met Johnny the day he asked her to the dance so maybe it was the same for them as well. She was just happy that her returned friend was having fun on one of his most favorite occasions, hoping they could snag a chance to talk not forgetting what she saw along his arms. Before she could get too lost in thought, Gen reminded herself that she was a party. As a performer, she knew the fundamentals of rhythm and coordination, her movements calculated in time with the pace as she kept her body relaxed to go with the flow. What she wasn’t sure of was how to dance with a partner like Johnny not familiar with the air guitar but it looked like fun so she gave up professional solo dancing and started learning a thing or two from him, mimicking the way he strummed the air. She felt silly but it was as fun as she had imagined, chuckling and smiling like a giddy school girl. It was as much fun as competing in the arcade dance games. There were times even Gen could let loose a little.

The foreigner also spotted Tsukiko as some sort of vampire and that one rebellious kid who brought “Smokin’ In The Boy’s Room” to Johnny’s mind. The rebel was wearing a lot of furry material, but the foreigner couldn’t tell what he was supposed to be. Identifying that particular costume did not really matter to him. Johnny simply felt happy when he saw that Tsukiko managed to land a date as well and join this most excellent party. It would have been a shame if someone as cool as her didn’t land one. After all, she’s a pop singer
well, a pop singer trying to hide the public identity to come across as normal, but a pop singer nonetheless. Johnny imagined it would feel humiliating if he were a rock star and he couldn’t get a partner for a party apparently as rare as this.

Gen’s eyes were again distracted when her date’s was, settling over a girl she didn’t recognize (Tsukiko) and the object of her recent affections. Her eyes uneasily moved away the moment he pressed his mouth against the girl’s neck, a seed of jealousy sprouting that she’d rather ignore. Her logical mind knew he was not worth the chase but somewhere deep down, she wanted to doubt and to be proven wrong the way all fairy tales go. I have my own date to focus on
she reasoned, not wanting to linger on the negatives. Gen would not remove herself and her partner from the dance floor over that. Kazuki was a flirt everywhere he went and that couldn’t be avoided. If only she had not missed the precise instant Kazuki had glanced her way, then maybe she would have been a bit more content.

Tsukiko and the other guy seemed to be getting unusually intimate on the dance floor. Heh heh
Ain’t that a reminder
? Welp, it doesn’t matter anyway. That dude’s got some smooth dance moves. I gotta step it up! Johnny was already mentally fortified for the night. His confidence did not waver as he turned the plumber’s cap backwards and began to break dance. All of these kids were so cool to the foreigner. Ryou, Tsukiko, Yuuki, the punch-up dude, the punched-up dude, Gen

When Johnny began break dancing, Gen was impressed. She was not familiar with the dance style at all but it looked incredibly hard to pull off that she was not confident enough to try it on the spot. All she could do was clap with the beat, encouraging her partner to show off his moves as others made space for him.

Gen was especially cool, considering she decided to put up with the foreigner. It only made the foreigner feel that he needed to do better at everything and give Gen a good time. He felt an absolute need to prove himself as someone also cool. If only he could manage four school clubs at once, then he could attend drama club as well. He had no choice but to flake. After all, he needed two sports in order to better hide the truth from his parents.

Gen caught Johnny’s gaze and smiled, subtlety reassuring him that she was having a good time. She dearly hoped he hadn’t noticed her waver slightly over the intimate tension happening near them. There was no way she could bring herself to talk about it to her date of all people, it would be discourteous. Her latest foe, Aeon, and rival, Cassiopeia had shown up fashionably late but she continued dancing even as everyone became distracted. She would not give any more attention than necessary towards him after earlier today. The last thing she wanted to do was throw a tantrum, his presence making her blood boil as she remembered.

Break dancing was probably one of the coolest things Johnny could do, besides display his incredible speed out in the basketball court. It was also the thing that tore Johnny’s shirt nearly in half. Shit! Johnny flipped back onto his feet. The tight shirt was now riddled with large tears. The foreigner chuckled heartily. “Ah well, it was old anyway.” The foreigner grasped at the still-tight collar and tugged lightly. The shirt finally tore right in half, and he pulled the ruined fabric away, and then stuffed the shirt into the large front pocket on the overalls. The foreigner then resumed dancing.

“Are you sure darling?” Gen showed concern as she stopped dancing and her voice competed with the music’s volume. She was worried he would catch a cold on the trip home, the night not warm enough to withstand shirtless. Being reserved, it was also a little overwhelming for her to dance with a shirtless man. Too much, too soon. If it was Rhys, she wouldn’t have batted an eyelash being close friends but Johnny she barely knew. Despite her discomfort, she didn’t speak a word of it and her expression remained as polite as ever. She would not risk offending him. He didn't look bad at all.

Aw man
I really messed up. Gen was extremely good at hiding her discomfort. The foreigner did not even notice a single thing about her expression. Rather, Johnny's mind filled with a harsh reminder to himself on how different Japan very likely was to the American deserts. Down South, people often wore very little due to the heat, and the only people who cared were the old farts that yelled at the young’uns. He had no idea how the Japanese took this sort of nature. Most everyone outside of Johnny's old hood would have definitely been cut from a finer cloth. Would these top-tier students see this display as
barbaric? Or indeed an insult to their mere presence? “Or
wait
Maybe I should’ve left the shirt on?” Johnny stammered as his mind began to race. “No! It’s fine! I can get this back on-” The shirt was tattered beyond belief. It was impossible to tell which hole was the neck hole and which was a sleeve. Johnny tightened the straps on the overalls to try to cover his torso. “Oh jeez, I hope I didn’t offend. I forgot Japanese culture is so different to
”

Gen picked up on the panic in his tone and bit her lip. She wasn't sure how to help him cover up, not having brought any extra clothes like a jacket. She would have let the awkward situation slide but somehow he had become aware of it on his own.

It’s your fault, John. Once again, it’s your fault
No
I can
I can salvage this! I gotta do it for her! Johnny's hands darted quickly with the tattered shirt. Within seconds, he had wrapped the shirt around his neck to form a makeshift scarf. It was rather goofy, but it did a better job of covering his pectorals than his attempt with the overalls. “There, perfect!” Johnny announced with a sincere grin. You pathetic dumbass
Johnny’s grin faded as he slouched over. “Yeah, I guess scarves aren’t fashionable this time of year
” He emitted an empty chuckle. So much for keeping my anxieties from spilling out... Damnit...

"Hmm let me take a look." Gen reached out to help him rearrange the shirt scarf a little better that it could pass for an intentional dystopian style after her years of experience with theatre. She wasn't embarrassed helping Johnny out of his predicament even as people started to look at them funny as it was the least she could do for the one who lifted her spirits. "It's not much but I think it'll do for now.. don't worry about offending anyone darling, this is a Halloween Party after all. It's the best time to dress outrageously." She lightly patted him on the shoulder and brought out her best smile as the song changed to the next.

"Thanks, Gen- I mean Gen-san," Johnny smiled as he pat his own hand over Gen's. His eyes twinkled a bright green in the strobing spot lights that caught his simplistic, yet chiseled face. "This is really cool." Oh yeah! Gotta dance! Realising he was holding a gaze, Johnny let go of Gen's hand and then resumed his unusual (for Japan) street dancing. This time, he did not do any B-boying, as his bare torso and shoulders would not suffice for slides and spins on this particular floor.

"I haven't heard that fact before. Intriguing."

"Don't get me wrong... It's not exactly a guarantee, as each person is unique, but on a larger scale, it does hold a degree of truth...." She was beginning to understand that this boy was quite impressionable, so Yuuki did not wish to mislead him or fill his brain with careless misinformation, so she decided to clarify her words she had initially intended as a bit of harmless sarcasm. She'd feel guilty if he went on believing what she said to be an absolute truth,
"Typically, children born in colder climates do handle low temperatures better than children growing up in tropical conditions, but it all depends on their exposure to their environment. When one spends their life cooped up indoors they do not become accustomed to their climate."

"You are different and interesting."

Yuuki was once again taken by surprise, as she was not used to platonic compliments, especially ones so bluntly spoken. Sure, she had been hit on when outside of school, but it was very different from this. As far as she could tell Sora didn't have the same motive as those crude men that catcalled her from the other end of the street. She was glad that she chose to attend with him, as her options could have been far worse and more demanding than this. She was glad that he did not ask too much from her because this was all new to her and she was having trouble coping with this. In all honesty, she would have sat at home and studied if her parents had not threatened her about coming here... There was still the fact that she had to take a picture to prove that she had actually attended the dance with someone.

"Gandhi claims there are two kinds of power. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment. In the story of the woman, that power was indeed potent poison but consider the other kind of power that Gandhi spoke of. Would that be considered a poison also? Maybe love is a poison. Maybe that is why people hurt from it."

His words immediately reminded her of her ill father. It could certainly be said that loving him was poisonous to Yuuki, because she made all sorts of decisions that negatively affected her life and psychological health for his sake,
"Love is only poisonous if the one experiencing it allows it to be... While it hurts to lose loved ones, I believe we would feel quite incomplete without the ability..." She replied back, running her free hand through her hair as she attempted to find the right words. It was a little awkward talking so openly to someone, but she was curious why this seemingly extroverted and quite attractive guy had such pessimistic views on love, and she had to justify everything she was currently doing for her father. She couldn't accept that she was better off not feeling such strong devotion, even if it was probably true,
"I can only speak from personal experience, which is also quite limited to familial love... but at its core essence, I believe all love holds the same basic components." The conversation didn't help her anxious feeling, especially as the two were attending this party as each other's date and we're currently alone, a fact that Yuuki was painfully aware of. Then she remembered an actual fact that she had read once, even if it was about love, Yuuki liked reading random studies and lists of facts so she remembered it well, "It has been studied, and emotional pain only lasts ten to twenty minutes unless we enforce it. Anything longer is self-inflicted." She added, deciding to end her opinion on this topic with an actual study she had come across. Besides, it left things on a positive note. She couldn't be at odds with her date all night, nor would things run smoothly if she didn't allow him to feel comfortable with their arrangement, thus she had not removed her hand from his despite the uneasiness it left in her gut.

"But we just got here."

"That's.... quite true... I'm just used to being the only one interested." She responded in a defeated manner, a little irritated by how much she was bothered by being alone with a boy. She figured that all of the years she had spent isolating herself that she would eventually become impervious to such foolishness. Her golden eyes returned to the armor in the room, seeking any form of distraction at this point.

"This castle was served by approximately four thousand samurais at one point."

Her eyes had returned to him, trying to grasp that fact. Immediately her mind began picturing the soldiers, completely awed by that number. She couldn't imagine so many suits of armor in the same place, let alone that many people inside of them. Though her romanticized daydream on the samurais was cut short when she felt his breath dance across her exposed neck, her spine stiffening in response. She had never allowed anyone to get this close before aside from her parents, and the fact that he had managed to do so without her noticing was an impressive but also maddening feat. Her first impulse was to shove him away out of embarrassment and snap at him for being so forward, but as he continued speaking; she realized she was simply being childish and presumptuous.

"Along with samurais, the castle was equipped to withstand a war. However it never underwent a battle in all its 400 years of history.. the castle that has never been attacked."

He's just looking at the armor, I was only in the way... Why am I being so stupid and paranoid? He's just a guy. After tonight, we won't even bother with each other... Besides, a guy that looks like Sora would never be interested in a dull and boring girl like me... and I've got too much to do for father's sake... I cannot become wound up in all of this. Yuuki asked herself, biting the inside of her cheek in frustration with her behavior. It seemed that several people were testing her ability to keep her emotions under wraps, whether intentionally (Arietta) or by accident (Sora). She couldn't help but smile knowing that the castle had never seen the horrors of the battlefield. She had read quite vivid descriptions of war written by soldiers themselves, and from what she gathered, this place was better for never seeing such terrible casualties. She began to relax as Sora began to withdraw from her personal space, letting out a silent sigh, but her relief came prematurely. He extended their agreement to hold hands by further infringing on her usual touch barriers, and she closed one eye as she felt his fingers correcting the placement of a few loose strands of her lavender hair. Her eye closest to his hand closed instinctively from his gentle touch, and she immediately panicked when she saw him closing the space between their faces. She would have taken a step back to avoid the contact, but she could not defile the suits of armor in such a way. She could not risk damaging such intriguing bits of history. Thankfully the situation remedied itself, and it seemed he was not aiming to kiss her after all, and even if he was, something had apparently deterred him from pursuing that line of action. Yuuki straightened out her dress, grooming tediously to shake off what had almost taken place. It was a nervous tick of sorts, but it did keep her mind from replaying the events that had taken place mere seconds before.

"Maybe you are right and we should return to where everyone is. It will take a while for me to heal from this and it is not wise to wander too far from the exit should the need arise."

Albeit still flustered, she decided that she was overreacting. There was no way that a kiss was his intention. No one had ever wanted to kiss her before, so she was not about to convince herself that it was something her date had in mind,
"Of course. Try not to exhaust yourself unnecessarily. As my father often reminds me; In time, this too shall pass." She smiled warmly as she spoke of her father, an affection that was not present any other time engulfing her otherwise collected expression. With one quick glance back to the armor, Yuuki led Sora to where all of the others were gathered dancing. Her heart managed to beat at a normal pace and she was collected once more. She had to be. She couldn't afford to react to Sora the same way when amongst their peers. She looked around at the students, noticing Bishop and his multiple fox tails in the crowd, but kept glancing around, her eyes falling on that creature, Miyamoto, dancing with a seductive female student dressed as a vampire with interesting magenta locks of hair. The pair's lewd attire was too much for conservative little Yuuki to handle, and she blushed a dark shade of red and turned her attention to other parts of the room. It made her realize that a lot of her relationships were not even in a neutral standing, but in fact, she had made a lot of enemies already, even if they may have only been one-sided. Yuuki was now even more nervous because nearly everyone in the room was dancing. She'd watched a couple videos and gave herself a crash course, but she wasn't certain that she could do this without looking stupid. How would she ever survive the night? She did truly feel like Alice in wonderland now because this scene was entirely foreign to her. She gazed down to her dress, wondering if this was some sort of subtle jab from her parents telling her that she should relax and accept the madness of high school a bit more, but immediately shook off her thoughts as anxiety sank in.

"Be careful what you ask for!" Skylar had never been careful in what she asked for. Her father was the best man to ask about that as the teenage girl would make demands on the fly, her attention shifting as fast as car gears go. Some even wondered if the girl suffered from ADHD or was just a spoiled brat but that was up for debate. Her smile widened just as much as Bishop's did when he guided her to the dance floor. She was used to leading others to the fun so she was ecstatic to be led for the first time, trailing behind him like an energetic puppy. Her ears and tail would be in motion too if she had any.

Reaching the floor, she danced the same way she had earlier and watched while her partner let loose. Bishop was no doubt a good dancer, making Skylar more excited. "Wooo00ooot! Slaying it!" she egged him on more, adding some twirls to her routine that her long hair swished along with her inevitably brushing some faces but Skylar was having too much fun to notice. She easily lost herself in the music and it was arguably the most calm she could be besides sleeping.

Just as Bishop's gaze moved, as did hers looking towards the other pairs dancing on the floor. A vampire and a werewolf (Tsukiko and Kazuki) were getting particularly steamy, Skylar's curious eyes widening when the boy seductively bit the girl's neck. It was a little confusing to her considering the girl was the vampire and it were vampires that usually aimed for the neck isn't it? Skylar also did not know how the lore would go from there, if a werewolf were to bite a vampire. It was so confusing she stopped dancing just to stare and think about it.

Her attention shifted again to another pair (Devone and Ryou) getting steamy in the way that they danced with each other and she could relate more, having come from America. Their body rolls enraptured her and she thought of them as professional dancers! The girl had horns which was a mega plus in her book and she had already spoken to the bare-chested guy before the dance started.

"Bishop!" she glanced back at her date with starry eyes and a big grin like the happiest child on planet earth. "This party is A-MAZING! Do you think we can do what they're doing?" she boldly pointed out the werewolf man (Kazuki) biting the vampire (Tsukiko) and the other beautiful steamy couple (Devone and Ryou). Skylar grabbed Bishop by the collar then immaturely jumped up and down in her spot with her next demand. "Please! Please! Please!" She really was not careful in what she asked for.
