Introduction

Katrina Lakewood is new at Ailridge High. She's turning heads and generating whispers, but not just because she's new. Katrina is also deaf.

After moving from her home in Manhattan to the more rural town of Ailridge, she is incredibly shy and aware of her handicap. How will she react in a school of the hearing after being in special care for four years? And how will she react when her dark and painful secret threatens to be revealed?

NEEDS:

Four or five friends of Katrina's, one of which (male) is a love interest.
