The Lu Kingdom is ruled by Lu Zun, and is the protagonist of the story.
The Cao Kingdom is ruled by Cao Cao, the son of Cao Wei. He is the main antagonist, an egnigmatic Emperor and the one who assassinated Cao Wei.
The Han are as virtuous as the Lu. They serve justice, even though it is cruel and despise the Lu, think that their justice is superior. Their lord is Ma Chao.
The Zhao are the allies of the Lu. They are small, like their neighbors the Qin. They are in constant war for land with the Qin and Han. Their queen is Mei Su
The Zhou are the allies of the Han and a large empire with vast amounts of military men. They are vigorously fighting the Lu and the Cao at the same time to gain rapid power. Their leader is the noble and arrogant Yuan Shao.
The Qin are agressive tribal warriors who show no mercy. They have special staraw armor that can stop even arrows and swords.
