Zane pressed herself further into the shadows of under the dock. Her eyes were plastered to a chest full of gold. It could have been at least five million berries but she wasn't sure at the moment. She waited impatiently for them men to leave the dock. As she waited her hand instinctively found the hilt of her third sword and began playing with the bell at the end of it. The whole village knew what it meant if they heard it; she was about to strike. The swordswoman had placed it there to warn her opponent that he or she was about to be killed. It was the least she could do to bring some mercy to her pretty much ruthless fighting ability. The men on the dock fell silent at the sound of the bell, terror written in their eyes.
"She's here," one of them said huskily. His face was round as was the rest of his body. He wipped around to find where the jingling noise was coming from.
"You should have expected this," another growled and gave him a rough push towards the edge of the dock.
Knowing this was her moment to take advantage Zane swiveled around, grabbed the husky man's foot and ripped him off the dock. He let out a petrified yell, which was cut off as he hit the water. The other two on the dock immediatly raised their weapons and made their way to help him. She was suddenly there, jumping out of the water and landing on the other speaker. He toppled over as she sat on his torso, placing the sword to his throat. Her startling golden gaze flickered to the third man standing before her, who looked as if he was about to wet his pants.
"Put the treasure in a bag," Zane hissed to him.
"Y-yes mam!" He cried and began his duty.
She watched with her eyes narrowed. Damn marines, they should have never trusted a dock to give them protection. As she waited for the man to finish her attention fell on a moving shadow at the edge of the town. Kenji was pacing, clearly annoyed that she was making another move against the marines. He was more of a peaceful kind of person. Zane bit back a snort and looked down at the man she was sitting on. His eyes were skimming over her delicate figure, his cheeks tinting pink as he did.
"What are you looking at?" she asked, placing the sword tighter to his neck. "You like?" A smirk in her eyes she moved around on him for a couple moments, letting him have a pleasure, before standing and snatching the bag of treasure from the trembling smaller man. Zane's attention turned to the man she had been sitting on, but it was quickly turned away as she drove her sword through his chest. "Thanks for the treasure, boys," she said as she turned and began off the dock, sheithing her sword as she went.

Silver sat in the back of the bar his usual spot during the day. Silver watched as a blonde curvy young woman came in and sat next to him. Silver looked at the girl and said “Veronica it’s nice to see you again. I hope you enjoyed last night as much as I did.” the blonde looked at him and said “ my name is Victoria you son of a.” the woman was cut off by Silver when he said “ oh dear I’m sorry I’ve been having this problem with my memory lately it’s the new diet I’ve been on lately. Please don’t be mad my love for you is as long as a summer’s day. You are the most beautiful woman I have ever met.” a young woman that was sitting at the bar turned around and said “ you told me that last week Silver.” Silver’s eyes started to wander and he said “ um, well everyone runs at of lines eventually, listen Veronica.”

the blonde said “ Victoria.” Silver responded “ right, right Victoria. What do you say we spend the night at my place this time.” Victoria sighed and then slapped Silver, she got up from the table and walked out of the bar. Silver jumped up from the table and ran to the door and he said “ but, Veronica I love you.” everyone in the bar yelled to Silver “ Victoria!” Silver looked back and said “ oh who asked you.” Silver than saw something that made his heart. A girl with beautiful green hair and a amazing Voluptuous body. The girl wore a skull on her head like a hat which just made her seem much more exotic to Silver. Silver appeared in front of the girl in the blink on an eye. He stared into her eyes and said “ my name is Silver and I was blinded by your beauty so I think you owe me, I think one kiss is fair payment don’t you?” Silver smiled at the girl with a warm and caring smile.

Kail sat bored on one of the crates at the dock. She had watched some girl steal treasure and kill some man. She had never been much a fan of conflict, so helping out didn't sound like a good plan. She let out a loud yawn and stared to the sky. She needed to find a job and grab some money before she died of hunger. Her stomach growled, loud. Why oh why did this always happen? Slowly, she reached into her pocket and pulled out a pouch. She opened it and stared inside. Nothing, shocking as usual. She put the pouch back in her pocket and looked to the floor. Schutz sat the calm and panting. He turned his head to his master, making a small barking sound. She reached an hand down and patted him on the head before going back into thought. She should sell her money pouch for berries. That would work, right? Not really, the cloth pouch wasn't worth anything. She considered becoming a criminal for a moment and smiled at the idea. She laughed just a little. That was a ridiculous idea. She looked at Schutz.

"What do you think, Schutz. What should I do?" Schutz replied with a tilt of the head and a bark. She let out a loud sigh. That never really worked. She closed her eyes for a moment to think. As she was thinking, Schutz stood up and sniffed the air. He turned his head to the man who was talking to the green haired girl that smelled of death. His tail wagged and he stood up running over to the two. He began to bark loudly, wagging his tail while still baring his teeth. Kail's eyes shot open at the sound of the bark.

"Ah! Schutz! Schutzstaffel!" She began to yell German orders at the dog. He had been trained to follow them, she still wondered why she had done that. Schutz just continued to bark. She ran over, still yell at the dog. When she got there, she tried to lift the dog, but gave up. She crouched down beside him. "Schutz... Why aren't you listening to me? Is something up? Oh my... People..." She looked up to notice both the green haired girl and a man that was flirting with him quite obviously. She let out a laugh, his acting was a little pitiful. She smiled and spoke up,

"Forgive Schutzstaffel, he's just being silly." Schutzsaffel let out another bark as she tried to drag him away. "Now Schutzstaffel!" She sighed, this wasn't working.

Zane was walking peacefully, a broad smile on her face, when a boy around her age appeared before her. She let out a yelp and stepped back. His words were only the slightest shocking. Of course he liked her figure, all men did. From the corner of her eye she could see Kenji smacking his forehead and turning away. Her eyes flashed; she knew he knew what was about to happen.

"My name is Silver and I was blinded by your beauty so I think you owe me, I think one kiss is fair payment don’t you?” He was smiling at her.

The smile on her face seemed to spark and she stepped to him, tossing the bag of treasure to Kenji, who rushed forward and grabbed it before retreating quickly. Zane let her fingers trail upon the man's jawline and when she reached his chin she gently took it and leaned his head down so she could see his face. He was attractive, she had to say. "Why thank you," she murmured, golden gaze flickering around his face.

She flinched as the dog and a woman came over, the dog barking as if the two were monsters. Zane let out an attractive giggle before looking down at the animal, then its owner. "Don't worry, mam, it happens. Beautiful dog, by the way." Her attention pulled itself away from the two and back to the man. "Silver, huh? I'm Roronoa Zane."

Silver smiled at Zane and said “ so you’re the Zane I keep hearing about, well who would have thought you would turn out to be so ravishing.” Silver got closer to Zane and he placed his hand on her left arm and let it slide all the way down to her hand. He held her hand, he looked into her beautiful eyes and said “Zane, would you do me the honor of spending this beautiful day with me. Seeing as how you still owe me for blinding me with your astonishing beauty.” Silver smiled at Zane he held her right hand now and said “we could go dancing and dance the night away.” Silver than disappeared and than he appeared on the roof of a building near by and he shouted “ or would could sit and watch the sky with each other until the sunrises.” He than appeared in front of Zane with the same smile on his face. He stared into her eyes and said “we could have dinner together and stare at each other lustfully.” Silver than said “ or we could just spend the night together.” after he said that Silver winked at Zane to show her what he really meant. Silver than looked at the girl with her dog, he had forgotten they were there. He said to the girl “ oh I’m sorry, I was just lost in Zane’s eyes I forgot to speak with you. My name is Silver nice to meet you, wait I don’t know your name. may I ask what it is? Also that is a beautiful dog you have there.”

Kenji narrowed his eyes at Silver. The night was approaching and he didn't like the idea of his 'little sister' being with this guy. He crossed his arms and watched from a distance with evident dislike. He then turned his attention to the bag of treasure sitting before him. There sure was a lot... He sighed and picked up one of the gold coins, enjoying the feel of actual money in his hands.

As he talked Zane's face flushed. She looked down to their interlocked hands before looking back up at him and giggling. "You sure are full of surprises," she said softly between his remarks. It was as if she had been his love at first sight.. literally. After a couple pondering moments she decided that having a little fun wouldn't hurt anyone. Besides, he didn't seem like much of a threat. He was taller than she and rather muscular but she herself was as well. When he finished speaking Zane delicately placed a hand at his neckline and tugged at it seductively. "Night is approaching, why not dinner first and then a little... fun?" she winked a golden eye. Of course she was going to do it. She didn't really care as long as she wasn't hurt, for then she'd be forced to take action. Zane could see that in many ways he would make a wonderful pirate and maybe taking advantage of the night would help gather him to their crew of two.

Silver looked into Zane’s golden eyes, his face showing his happiness yet still showing his embarrassment for her actually agreeing to go with him. He expected her to blow him off. Silver held Zane’s hand close and he said “ I know a great place to get some food and maybe even some dancing. Now excuse me for my forwardness but this is to make things easy.” Silver got close to Zane and wrapped his arms around her and in a blink of an eye they were in front of the restaurant he was speaking of. Silver slowly let go of Zane and he said “ I often come to this place when I have free time.” Silver walked into the restaurant that was dimly lit, it was larger than what it looked like on the outside. The restaurant had a fountain in the middle and silver walked over to it. It was small, but it was still as romantic as the bigger ones. Silver sat on the edge and than he realized he still had Zane’s hand interlocked with his. He slowly let go and stared at her. A young waitress came over to Silver and she said “ a table for two today Silver?” Silver nodded and the girl pointed for him to follow her. Silver followed the waitress and sat down at the table. There was a lit candle on the edge of the table to give it a romantic feel. Silver was hoping all of this stuff would get Zane to enjoy her time with him. Silver placed his hand with his palm up on the table like he wanted Zane to hold his hand. Silver wondered if she would do it. He was the one to first hold her hand. He wanted to know if she would return the feeling.

It appeared that Silver was taking the whole romance thing very seriously. Zane smiled at his embarrasment. "Oh common, I don't bite. Sometimes..." She giggled slightly as his arms enveloped her and then suddenly they were before the restraunt. She was starting to wonder what exactly he happened to be. Without question she following him and the waiter. The restraunt was nice, not too shabby or over-decorated. It felt cozy and warm just like any restraunt would be. When she sat down and Silver placed his hand palm-up on the table Zane took it and smiled. "I'd like to know exactly what you are, Silver. You clearly have some special ability and I like it." She wanted to attach him to her first, then pull away and see if he'd follow like a dog. If not, then this was all a waste, but she figured he would follow anyway. And if he didn't she had ways to make him. She knew that when they gathered a large enough crew to sail out after the One Piece she wouldn't become captain, but he seemed like a likely pick.

Kenji blinked when the two disappeared. His violet eyes narrowed and he picked up the bag. They lingered on the woman and her dog before he turned and headed out towards the ship they had bought just a week before.

Silver smiled at Zane, he looked her in the eyes and said “ so you want to know what I am well.” Silver paused for a second and than said “I’m a devil fruit user, I ate the devil fruit that gives control over the element of light. So really I’m made entirely of light, my type is said to be the strongest of the devil fruit users because we can’t be hurt easily.” Silver smiled after telling Zane about himself. He looked at her and said “ what about you Zane, the things I hear about you sound like you are pretty extraordinary yourself.” Silver smiled his hand still waiting for Zane’s to be placed on top of it. Silver was happy to be with Zane. She seemed so amazing he just couldn’t help but want to look into her beautiful golden eyes. Or imagine what the touch of her lips felt like. Silver wanted to know all about Zane. He wondered if she was like an open book or would she make him work for it. If she did Silver wouldn’t mind cause he felt that he had fallen in love with Zane after just meeting her. It was love at first sight and he knew it.

Kail stared at the two. They had left, after Silver had asked her name. She shrugged and wandered away. She noticed a boy who was glaring at the two. She smiled as she saw him leave, looking at her if only for a moment. She stood and followed him, just more or less being creepy. Also because he had a pouch of money. Money meant food. Food meant her stomach would stop making ridiculously loud noises. She looked to Schutz with a lazy face and laughed at him.

"I know, that was weird! Why'd you run me up to the two love birds anyway? It's not like they wanted to talk to me." Schutz barked and wagged his tail. "You really think so? You're insane. I would rather become a pirate and watch my family...." She stopped. Why had she just said that to herself? She sighed and patted Schutzstaffel on the head. "It's not your fault boy... I'm the one who said it..." She looked ahead at the boy she was stalking again. Maybe stalking him was a bad idea... She could probably talk to him... Maybe even convince him to buy her food... She smiled at the idea of food. It would be nice to actually get something to eat that wasn't a stolen good. She jogged ahead attempting to catch up with the boy.

"You know the Zane chick right? I noticed you glaring." She mumbled more to herself than to the boy. He would probably wonder why she was talking to him. "Well, I'm sorry if that guy was hitting on your girl friend. Or your sister... Or your best friend..." She began to think on what she had said an realized it wasn't making much sense. "I'm not very good with conversation... So I'll get to the point... I'm hungry... Can I borrow some money...?" She smiled a little. This tactic never worked, ever, but she failed so badly at making conversation, it was worth a shot... Schutzstaffel barked loudly and ran up, poking her with his nose. She stared at him angrily and shouted out a command in German. The dog spun around in a circle before sitting on the ground and sticking out its tongue. She sighed and looked back to the boy.

A devil fruit. Despite at first not believing it, the truth was that it made perfect sense. Zane blinked as it all began to fall into place. His questions dragged her from her pondering and she smiled. "Oh, I'm nothing special. I just grew up in a village and trained as a swordswoman." She wasn't ready to give up her full, painful past just yet. He'd have to earn it. Her hunger had faded by now and she was growing impatient for the night to progress. "I'm not really hungry anymore," she said, lips forming an unsure line as if feeling bad that she was wasting time at the restraunt. Her hand grasped his gently, almost itself asking if they could go.

Kenji knew the woman had been following him well before he approached. When she began talking it was like an endless babble, though he was grinning. When she finally summed it up he stopped and looked her and her dog over. "Money for food? Well I was going to use it to buy food for our trip when we leave for the sea, but I guess it wouldn't hurt.." He lazily reached into the bag and took out a few coined before delicately taking her hand and placing the coins in it.

Kail's eyes brightened as she heard the man speak. He put the money in her hand and she smiled. Something inside her was so happy that she wasn't sure what to do. She had to thank him somehow... She look to Schutz, who just barked. She turned back to the boy and hugged him tight.

"Thank you so much! You have no clue how much this means! Schutz!" The dog barked at the sound of its name. "You stay here and you take care of this nice man! I'm going to go get some food! Oh! Do you want me to buy the food supplies for you? It would be a good way of paying off your kindness. Would you mind... umm...." She paused very confused for a moment. She had never learned this boy's name. She suddenly began to feel like an idiot. She kicked the ground a little and mumbled to Schutz about how he should have warned her before she made a fool of herself. The dog just backed its ears.

"I never learned your name Mr..." She mumbled very awkwardly. She felt like a total idiot at the moment, and didn't really want to seem stupid. She hated the stereotype that girls were dumb, so it hurt her now to think that she had just made the stereotype seem correct. She sighed and looked up at the boy pointing to herself.

"I'm Kail."

Silver got up out of his seat still holding Zane’s hand. He looked her in the eye and than slowly pulled her close to him. And in a blink of an eye they were outside. Silver said to Zane “if your not hungry, what do you wish to do, we could go dancing, we could gaze at the stars or we could go to my place or yours if you prefer.” Silver winked at Zane and smiled. He wondered if her saying she was no longer hungry was just a ploy to get him to leave the restaurant with her early so they would have more time to do what he thought was going to happen. Silver couldn’t help but smile at the thought of such a thing happening between him and Zane. He wondered if she would or would she only play with his emotions either way he would be happy because it was Zane and being with someone like her was good enough for him. Silver held Zane’s hand close to him he was waiting for the right moment he was going to try and kiss her, if she went for it just may it meant she wasn’t playing with his emotions if she denied him than it was obvious she was playing with his heart.

When they stood up she was almost releaved. In the blink of an eye they were outside once more in the now sunset air. Zane rather liked the feeling of being held so tightly, but maybe that was just her being insecure. She smiled when he smiled and looked around as he spoke. At the mention of going home to have a little fun she looked back at him. Alright, so he was one to jump ahead with this. Hopefully, if she had calculated his moves correctly, once it was over he'd be attached to her. She delicately looped her fingers around his belt-loops and pressed his hips to hers to drive his hormones crazy. "Let's go to your house, mine is too small to have some good fun." Zane let herself flush attractively and avoid his gaze for a few moments, hoping to draw him even closer. She didn't show the worry she had that was begging God to have her plan go right.

"I'm Kenji," he said with a smile. "You don't have to deal with the shopping, I'm waiting until we get a cheff to join our crew who can do it for us. You run along now, you look hungry." Kenji looked over the girl before turning his back to her and continuing on his way. He stopped after a moment to see if she had left yet.

Kail froze when she heard the word chef come from Kenji's mouth. They were hiring someone as a chef? She had been looking all over for a job and here one was staring her in the face. She couldn't just pass up this opportunity! She let a wide smile come to her face and jumped excitedly. She looked at Schutz, who was gone. She stared blankly for a moment before realizing that he had done as he was ordered and followed Kenji, who was leaving. She froze again. This was going to come across very strangely...

"Wait! Um, Kenji, I... Um, I'm a chef." She pointed to herself calmly. "I've been looking for a job, but, there aren't many around and I'm getting tired of starving because I don't have any money... Would you consider hiring me?" Her eyes brightened at the last words. She hoped so much that this boy would take pity on her and hire her. She and Schutz were always having to steal from people. Somewhere, she couldn't help but wonder why Kenji would need a chef. Was he a restaurant owner or something? She shook of the thought, it didn't matter.

Kenji looked at her with a mixture of surprise and interest. Alright, so she was a chef. His tender gaze fell to her dog as a soft smile flickered onto his lips. "A chef, eh?" he murmured. For a moment he was sure that he had to take this gamble, but his mind suddenly changed as he remembered another huge aspect of this situation. The doctor looked at Kail while shifting the bag to his other shoulder in what appeared as mild interest.

"I think we should start this over," he said slowly, picking his words carefully and delicately. The last thing he wanted to do was scare off this great opportunity. "My name is Yamoto Kenji, and I'm a doctor." The young man paused to look at the sky. It was late now, almost no light was visible over the horizon. Where the hell was Zane? He bit back a hiss at the thought of her being with that lad they had met earlier.

His gaze found Kail's face once again and he tilted his head. "I am a doctor," he repeated before also saying, "and I'm a crewmember of a pirate ship who is casting for members."

Kail's eyes widened. A doctor? This guy was a doctor? She couldn't believe what she was hearing. How could someone so young be good at medical... She stopped thinking for a moment. A pirate. That was what he had said, pirate. She looked to the ground for a minute, then to Schutz. The dog only tilted its head, leaving her to think on her own. Pirates killed her family. They were monsters, right? This boy didn't seem like a monster though, he seemed nice. Was this a trick? No, it didn't sound like one. She could join the crew, but would that mean burning down villages? She didn't want to do to people what others did to her. She let out a loud sigh and kneeled, petting Schutz. She slowly mutter, more to herself, but loud enough for Kenji to here.

"Pirates killed my family boy. But we need the money, or I'll end up selling you. I don't want to stoop down to that level, but he seems nice enough. Doesn't he?" Schutz barked. "I'm glad you agree... Maybe this is a good thing, maybe this guy can prove that pirates aren't monsters." Scutz barked again. "Good boy..." Kail patted Schutz on the head before standing up and looking to Kenji with a smile. It was obvious she thought that he didn't hear her.

"Alright Dr. Kenji! I'll take the job! If you... Will hire me that is..."

Silver awoke in his bed sweating. He sighed and said “ aw man was it a dream?” he laid back down and than tried to adjust himself so he could go back to sleep. As her turned around he saw Zane asleep in his bed. Silver looked under the sheets and than said to himself “ I guess it wasn’t” Silver had a smile on his face like a little kid who just got a present would. Silver laid back with his hands behind his head and looked up at the ceiling. He was happy, happier than he had ever been and he had Zane to thank for that.
He turned to look at her, he couldn’t tell if she was asleep or not, but he didn’t want to tap her on the shoulder because he didn’t know if she was the type to be angry after being awoken from sleeping. Silver turned away from Zane and started to fall asleep, replaying the whole day over in his mind.
