Personality: Depending on what side you are with him, you can see Ryu in two different ways. If your a friend or an ally, you'll see him as a free spirit. Eagerly wanitng adventure and looking for it where ever he goes. When nothing fun is around for him, he spends the rest of his time just laying around, relaxing until something comes along. But when something fun is around, he's always in the right mood for some fun. Strict in protecting his friends, he would challenge anyone that is seen messing with them, and once that happens, he's a different person. In battle, he get's fixed on taking out the opponent swiftly as possible to avoid allies being hurt. Glaring the enemy down with a savage look and beast like eyes. But despite his difference on and off the battle field, he's one person that you can count on as a friend or ally. But if there's one thing that really get's him excited, is the thrill of a real adventure.
Weapon: 8 Daggers he keeps on his belt, only uses them when not wanting to show his power.
Bio: Ryu is one with a rough past, despite him not showing the scars it's given him. When he was little, his home was attacked by the marines, the village having been a docking place for a pirate ship. Declaring the whole village to have been acting in piracy. As the whole town was under arrest, Ryu witnessed his own parents get killed for protecting him. Enraged, he struck back, releasing abit of his untapped haki. Seeing this, a high ranker, turned him in to the scientist division for a special testing that they have been wanting to do. The experimenting on a human being. Normal people couldn't withstand the process in these tests, so they have been wanting to try a weilder of haki. Them being rare, they were glad to find one during their attack. There, Ryu was experimented on, trying to be turned into a biological weapon for the goverment. A human with powers that aren't from a Devil Fruit, that way it wont be exposed to a Devil Fruit user's weaknesses. But during a round, Ryu went berserk, breaking out of the lab he was kept in when he was at the age of 16. From that day on, he had been on his own, secretly hunted down by the marines. Now at the age of 18 Ryu's decided to start all over again. To go along and live life to the best he can, he decided to go out at sea for adventure. Never planning to tell about his life to other's, he starts plans to form a crew and set sail as a pirate. The freedom on the high sea's, in his point of view is the way to be truely be free. After hearing the spreading rumors of the Straw Hat's legacy, his desire to set off only grew as he get's ready at Lougetown to set off at last. Eager to push himself to the top and become the next Pirate King.
