Introduction

Whispering Willows is a Institutional Psych Ward for adolescents and teenagers.

It's sole purpose is to help maximize the quality of life for those struggling with severe cases of mental diseases, such as OCD or Schizophrenia. Staff at the Institution are dedicated and hard working; Willows wants to be their second chance.

General rules of the ward conclude:
    ~no teasing~ ~no fighting~ ~no hitting~ ~no swearing~ ~no name calling~ ~no bothering~ ~no physical contact that has a high possibility of hurting someone~ ~no smoking~ ~no alcohol~ ~no illegal drugs or narcotics besides doctor-prescribed medication, which is monitored anyways~

Bedtime is 9:00-10:00 pm, depending on given circumstances, but overall lights-out is promptly at 10:45 pm.

Nurses are sent around to gather patients at given times, before noon, to eat breakfast in the Cafeteria. Patients who wake up earlier then 7:00 AM are not aloud out of their rooms with supervision from a staff member.

Example Character Sheet: (My character; Nevaeh)
Name: Nevaeh Eilaesia
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Date of Birth: May 1st, 1992
Height: 176 cm
Weight: 115 lbs
Appearance~
Picture: Nevaeh Eilaesia
Natural Hair Color/Current Hair Color/Highlights or Not?: Black, black, none.
Length of Hair: Mid-back.
Eye Color: Brown.
Clothing/Attire:
Shirt: White T-shirt.
Pants: Sweatpants.
Shoes: White Puma runners.
Accessories: None.
Personality~
Likes: Math, music, reading, the number 'Pi', grammar, spelling.
Dislikes: The numbers '13', '8', '22', and '74', bugs of any kind, balloons, and any sort of sports-related balls
(basket balls, soccer balls, baseballs, softballs, etc.)
Habits: Nevaeh's life revolves around routine; first in the day, she gets up, and tears all the sheets, pillows, everything from her bed. Upon close inspection will reveal whether she will make the bed perfectly how she chooses, or upon the slightest thing under the bar of perfect on the linen, she will get them cleaned. The routine usually falls into the latter.
Washing her hands exactly 16 times in the sink is next, before Nevaeh is to move on.
Changing into a pair of cleaned clothing, always dark-gray sweatpants and a white T-shirt, of which she has multiple sets of the same. On her clothes, in the back and neatly printed with a thin black sharpie, are numbers. '2', '4', or '6' are on her T-shirt, undergarments, sweatpants, socks, etc. She wears sets on certain days, set '2' then set '4' then set '6'; making absolute sure they dont get mixed up.
She then washes her hands 16 times again.
Brushing her hair 48 times concluded her next routine action, before she washes her hands 16 times more, a total of 48 times so far.
She also checks twice after washing her hands to see if she left the tap on.
A quick check of her room; lights off, tap off, clock set to the right time; concludes herself to knock on the door 3 times, closed or not, before leaving.
From there, she usually walks down to the Recreational room, careful to not step on any cracks between the tile floor, she counts each step, skipping the numbers '13', '8', '22', and '1' at their times of coming up.
How Long will they be Staying There? (Sort term; 1 week-4 months, Mid-term; 4 months-8 months, Long term; 8 months-a few years.) Long term.
Diagnosis/How it Affects Them: Nevaeh has OCD, but whenever asked about her OCD, if she has OCD, or someone calls her OCD, she replies with a serious answer of, "I'm not OCD."
Nevaeh knows a total of 54 numbers of Pi.
What OCD causes her to do, part of her routine:
-Wash her hands exactly 16 times after doing things potentially contaminating, germ-wise.
-Check twice if she left a sink running.
-Check everything, (lights on, toilet running, sink running, shower running, clock time, etc.), before she leaves a room.
-Knock 3 times on a room's door before going in, open or not, if no door then she knocks on the right side of the door.
-Count every step she takes when walking through the Ward's hallways.
-When readign a book, for example, if the last page says '500' she will count every single page just to make sure.
-Alphabetize movies, books, papers, etc.
-Number her clothing articles.
-Used hand-sanitizer before she touches something, (doorknob, book, etc.)
-Press an elevator door button, for example, 3 times.
-Not drink or eat off of anything unless she sees it sanitized thoroughly.
-Sanitize a chair before she sits down on it; but only if it is made of plastic or metal.
Other: None.

~one~ ~two~ ~three~ ~four~

The numbers invaded Nevaeh's mind the moment, the very second, she woke up. Counting the beeps her alarm sounded, hovering over the off button, she waited until four, then pressed, seeing that the time read quite clearly to be 7:32.

First things first; she got from the bed, taking the articles off one by one. Pillow case, pillow case, pillow, pillow, everything else; throwing them into the clear floor after the foot of her bed.

After all was off, all except her matress, she sat down beside the linens and pillows, going in order of the removal as she scowered them for even the slightest flaw.

One pillow case; good. That was it. The rest had the slightest thing dirty, and so were folded and put to her right, the only clean thing sitting to her left.

Picking up the dirty articles, she sat them by the door, setting the 'clean' pillow-case, neatly folded, onto the matress.

~one~ ~two~ ~three~ ~four~...

Nevaeh went over to the sink then, washing her hands 16 consecuative times before she checked twice to see if the tap was running.

Moving on to change into daily clothes, she got undressed, folding the clothes before setting them beside the pile by the door to be cleaned.
Picking set '4' of her outfits, each garment of clothing marked with either a number '2' '4' or '6' were in her closet; the numebr drawn by a thin black sharpy at the back-bottom of each piece. A white t-shirt and sweatpants were the outfit.

~one~ ~two~ ~three~ ~four~... She washed her hands; they were becoming red already.

Lamp, light-switch, clock, tap; all were then checked, in the given order, before 3 knocks sounded against her door, and she exited the room, closing the door behind her.
Hand-sanitizer was then used, and she took a step forward, careful not to step on any cracks.

~one~ She counted the first step, as she would for the rest of the day, starting over when her clock struck 12:00 AM the next morning.

Brown eyes flickering about the halls, she waited for a doctor to come by; it was 8:03, and many would start to awaken, or leave their rooms.

Ana leans precariously out of the small window above her bed, a cigarette between her lips. A sharp knock at the door rattles her and she drops the burning butt, letting it join the small pile gathering below her window - she'll get another lecture about smoking indoors if they're found.

After several minutes of deliberation, she settles on a pair of tan trousers and a navy blouse. She stands in front of her mirror as she strips off her uniform, ward-issued nightgown and turns this way and that, scrutinizing her visible ribs and collarbones. She's not allowed a scale in her bathroom, anymore, but she's sure she'd put on a few pounds. Disgusted, she pulls her clothes on to hide her body and continues with the normal morning routine. She brushes her teeth, even though she knows it's a futile excerscise - her breath is always sour from lack of nutrition.

Nevah, who occupies a room somewhere to the left of Ana's, is already waiting in the corridor when Ana arrives, but the others aren't here, yet. "Morning, Nev." Ana greets, eyeing the pile of 'dirty' sheets in the other girl's arms, though she knows better than to comment; she'd just recieve the same blank look and denial as usual from the obvious obsessive.

~one~ ~two~ ~three~

Nevaeh tapped her right hand against the outside of her hip three consecutive times, eyes moving to Ana, another patient of Whispering Willow's Psych Ward.

"Good morning, Ana." She said, three more taps, before smiling slightly. Even though she had obsessive compulsive disorder, she liked talking with people. Not constantly like some, but she still liked it, though most people assumed right away that she was a automatic misanthropist.

~two~ She took the second step out of her room for the day, she only counted her steps through Whisper's halls, and she counted every last one.

~one~ ~two~ ~three~ taps.

"They are dirty." Nevaeh commented; eyes catching Ana looking past her and into her room, where the dirty articles were.

# Whistling Willow's Institutional Psych Ward, 2011-03-10 18:39:06, as written by Spectrum
A thick sheet of perfect white snow lay on the ground. To add to this, small, cute, perfect snowflakes dropped down to the ground just a little too slowly. This bugged her. They were taking too long to reach the ground and the trees and the hoods of cars. Why couldn't they get there faster instead of making everyone wait on them? It was frustrating to study. Aside from all this snow, there wasn't much of a chill in the air. In fact, it was oddly warm, but Alice didn't really notice. She was too busy glaring at the turtle-slow snowflakes drifting towards the ground.

Speaking of waiting, she was beginning to grow just as infuriated from standing around in the snow while waiting for her friend. Her friend, Lana Change, was always late. Always. Alice was someone who had to either get somewhere on time or a little before hand; 'fashionably late' did not exist in her dictionary. Apparently, it was Lana's motto. She said she was going to be there to pick her up over an hour ago. She lived less than ten minutes away. What the hell.

Finally, a car arrived around the corner, stopping off in front of her house. Alice's eyes narrowed as Lana stepped out of the car with a care-free grin on her face. Alice could feel anger boiling in her gut. She tried to distract herself by focusing on the snow laying on the ground, but that only managed to anger her more--the snow was too white, too perfect, too...something. It was disgusting how perfect it was, mocking her, laughing at her, teasing her about how unperfect she was with all her cuts and bruises and that fresh black eye. Alice's eyes snapped to meet Lana's. "What took you so long?" she growled subtly.

"I took a detour because I wanted to stop by the store. Hey, could I have a bottle of water?" Lana asked, blowing her off.

"No, wait. Why didn't you just bring me with you?" Lana shrugged. Alice's fists clenched and unclenched. Finally, her expression dissolved into a blanker one. It seemed like acceptance, but it wasn't nothing of the sort. She stood behind Lana, who only glanced at her in oblivious confusion. Her ignorance only made her angrier. The snow needed to shut up! Lana needed to shut up! The snowflakes needed to fall faster! "Lana, do you like the snow?"

"No, it's stupid. I hate the cold."

Alice sighed harshly and pulled out a blade, swiping it swiftly into her best friend's back and twisting until the other girl dropped to her knees on the ground. "Well, the cold hates you too," she mumbled. She took the knife out and kept stabbing her and stabbing her until her screams slowly died to a low moan. "The snow looks better when flawed with your blood."

Alice gasped as she was thrust awake. She looked around, a sick feeling of pride swirling around in her gut. As she stood and got dressed in typical clothing, she decided today was going to be a good day. Even though she could hardly remember the dream that forced her awake, it had put her in good spirits. Peaking out the door for any people, Alice stepped out once she was satisfied there were none. She stared at the ground as she walked, deep in thought.

"The snow looks better when flawed with your blood."

Man, she really wished she could remember that dream. She looked up at hearing some voices and frowned when Nevaeh and Ana came into view. To avoid them, she went down the other hallway. She was thinking. Alice was never in the mood to talk when she was thinking. However, this caused to only bring her more spite as she accidentally ran into someone. Eyes widening, she quickly stepped back. "Sorry! Sorry!" She would have bowed if that was her thing. Dignity wasn't.

The squeak of feet on the polished corridor floor announces Alice's arrival, but she ducks down a side corridor and disappears from view before a greeting can be called and Ana frowns slightly before shrugging it off - Alice is often too involved in her own thoughts to be disturbed, it seems.

She glances at the clock - realising with a flinch that it's almost time for the routine hell called 'breakfast'. Boxes of sugary cereal, plates piled high with french toast, boiled eggs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs. Yuck.

"Who's on breakfast duty today, Nev?" Ana asks; Nev never forgets schedules. She can usually escape with just a few small forkfulls of egg if one of the younger staff are in charge, but under the eagle eyes of the the experienced staff, she's doomed to a second helping.

"How lovely." A small voice squealed happily. "I look just like a princess, do I not?"

The male looked at his reflection through a silver hand held mirror that seemed to belong to a young lady. He ran his fingers through his dyed hair as he admired himself. A small princess tiara sits at the top of his head, a gold necklace wraps gently around his slender neck; his interesting choice of accessories seemed to amuse the boy in the glass mirror. He placed the mirror on the ground and looked up, he caught site of a tall figure entering his domain.

"Ho Jea, have you been a good boy?" A smooth voiced male whispered as he entered the room. He walked over to the boy and knelt in front of him. His finger prodded against Ho Jea's forehead and smiled playfully. He knew he shouldn't show so much affection to the patient but he can't help but be playful with his little brother.

The males smiled brightly at his brother and giggled as he was prodded. "I haven't caused trouble yet, have I?" He said with a smirk on his face.

After rolling his eyes, Jea Ho flicked the younger boy's nose and stood onto his feet. "Well get to breakfast."

"I don't wanna..." The younger male replied with frown. He knew that pouting would do nothing for him. He stood up, dusted his rear and followed Doctor Alexander--as the rest of the institute addresses him as--out of the door.

The brothers separated at the end of the corridor. Jea Ho could hear the familiar voices of the patients, he never took the time to get to know any of the. Having 'friends' was always something the male had trouble with. It was hard enough to gain them, it's a challenge for one to keep them. Instead of following the sound he turned to another corridor avoiding the buzz of the mess hall.

Humming a light tune to himself, Ho Jea's mind wondered off it's tracks. He thought of his brother and how much he pitied him for working in a place like this. He knew he wanted to work in a real hospital, not a crazy house like this. He also knew it was all Angel's fault not his. He blamed his other personality for causing his brother so much trouble. "If only Angel wasn't such a big meanie." he told no one as he continued down the hall.

His thoughts went into chaos as he stumbled back wards.

"Sorry! Sorry!" the girl bellowed out to him.

His eyes fell down to his feet shyly causing his tiara to tilt to the side. "U-um. It's my fault." He said in his strong accent. His eyes glanced up at the girl then back down at his feet.

~one~ ~two~ ~three~

Three taps went against Nevaeh's hip before she spoke, thinking for a moment. "Dr. Alexander. He's on breakfast duty..."
She then paused, taping again, adding slightly confused, "Breakfast isn't until 8:30-9:30."

Smiling then slightly, as she heard other voices ring about the halls. More patients were exiting their rooms; wandering about the hall. She liked hearing something in Willows; sometimes it just seemed they were perfectly isolated from the rest of the world, which worried her.

Taking out her hand sanitizer, she spread on a coat, before putting it away. Three taps.
"I'm going to go to the cafeteria, Ana. Do you want to come with me?" Nevaeh asked, brown eyes looking to the other patient.

Ana was just about the only person Nevaeh talked to regularily; and actually had a nice conversation with. The most talking she usually did was either with a doctor, or in therapy sessions, where she had to tell them what she did what not a problem. Perfectly normal.
She considered Ana almost a friend; a hard thing to get in a psych ward.

~three~ ~four~ ~five~

Nevaeh took three steps fourwards, the counting in her head resuming, then stopping, feet avoiding the cracks.

Jea Ho rushed down the hall quickly glancing down at his wrist watch ever three steps. He regretted giving his younger brother a wake up call, he should have be in the cafeteria hours earlier to deal out the children'd food. But he was worried about how his little Ho Jea was doing. For years, his life has circulated round the boy. He eats, sleeps, and breathes Lee, Ho Jea. It was tiering to take care of the boy, but he was the only one he had. Jea ho was never much fund of other people but his brother, so he had no choice but to humor the boy. Of course he loved his little brother dearly, but sometimes he wondered if he loved the boy too much.

He shook his head clearing his thoughts and getting back on track. He took the clip board from his arm and scanned over his duties for the day. He sighed realizing he'd deal with practically half of the asylum, lucky him. He was hoping he could spend most of the evening dealing with Nevaeh Eilaesia, a girl that his brother seems to mention about at a regular basis. His eye brows met as he realizes that he has to reschedule his appointment with the girl, as if that bothered the kid at all.

Once he was in the dining hall, he jogged quickly to look over the food. He made sure it was "edible"--as if the cafeteria knew what that word meant. A slop of grey tar say in a trey, he questioned what the grew was and found out it was mashed potatoes. Discussed by the appearance of the "food" he demanded every slop to be replaced with what else they could. Just as his watch rung for the morning meal, the last of the eggs were put in their place. Thanks to the doctor now all the kids had were eggs, toast and some bacon. "Hopefully everyone will eat happily today." He smiled taking his place at an empty table.

He observed every student that entered the room; analyzing each ones "abnormality", imagining their life beyond the walls of the crazy house and what they were like before ending up here. A small frown grew on his face when he couldn't spot the white haired boy. "Where is that brat?" he asked out loud as if someone was going to answer back at him. He leaned back on his chair and kept his eyes open for the male. He told himself if the boy didn't appear in the next twenty minutes he was going to go after him.

His stomach called out to him, reminding him how empty it was. It's ironic that him as a doctor doesn't take good care of his health. but it was the irony that came with the job, always putting the children fist before himself, he never complained though. Even if his stomach growled louder he did his best to distract himself by looking at his papers again.

~six~ ~seven~ ~eight~ ~nine~...

Nevaeh began to walk through the hall way, past Ana; if she wanted to join her, she would.

Turning left down Whisper's conforming hallways, Nevaeh smiled slightly when she recognized two voices at the seemingly end of a conversation.
Three taps.
"Good morning Ho Jea. Good morning Alice." Though she hadn't talked, or head them talk, with patients like Alice much; at the occasions of such, she knew the voices. Scarcely did she forget anything.

She paused only for a moment at the inter-section of which both the hallway the other two patients were on adn the hallway she was walking down collided; she smiled. She liked saying, "Good morning," to people. If anything, it helped her remember who'd she seen that day or who stayed cooped up in their room.

~fifteen~ ~sixteen~ ~seventeen~ ~eighteen~...

Nevaeh continued her walking down the hallway; cracks still avoided.

Just ahead was the cafeteria door, of which when she reached it she knocked on three times, then pushed it open.

"Hello, Dr. Alexander." Nevaeh spoke when she spotted the staff member on the breakfast duty sitting at a table. She let the door close behind her.

~thirty-one~ She took a step forward.

Lucius set his stuff down in his new room at wistling willows. It had been a pretty interesting half hour since he had walked through the doors. First, he was thought to be a patient, untill he found his staff badge, then he got lost in the screamer ward, and almost became a patient himself, thanks to the wails. All Lucius wanted to do was fall onto the crisp clean sheets of his bed, but his new assistant handed him a clipboard with a patients file on it. "Who and where is Neveah Eilaesia?" he asked.

Ana wavers for a moment, wondering whether to brave breakfast or risk another long lecture from the doctors. After a moment of deliberation, she falls into step beside Neveah and walks beside her silently, hanging her head like a condemned woman walking to the gallows.

Like Nev had said, Dr. Alexander is sitting at a cafeteria table, one eye on the patients and another on his papers. She breathes an inward sigh of relief - he's probably too preoccupied to notice her untouched plate.

She grabs a bowl of slushy, grey slop and takes a seat near Neveah, staring down into the food as she pushes it abound with a spoon hald-heartedly.

~thirty-two~ ~thirty-three~ ~thirty-four~ ~thirty-five~...

Nevaeh took her step towards the plates of food; improved from days of slop. Brown eyes took a glance towards Dr. Alexander; he must have forced the cafeteria staff to improve the mush which was usually served, as it was replaced with eggs and such.

Looking back to the cafeteria staff, she sanitized her hands with her ever-present hand sanitizer, picking up the tray cautiously before she set it on the table beside Ana.
She took out a disinfectant wipe, she used one at every meal, before she wiped the chair and then the table which she had the food on.

Sitting down; Nevaeh looked to Ana's plate.
~one~ ~two~ ~three~ Taps on her hip.
"The staff might notice if you eat nothing, Ana. You'll get in trouble." She said softly, a concerned look on her face. Ana, she knew, was anorexic. But she didn't want the girl getting in trouble... Though it was ultimately Ana's choice.

Nevaeh, herself, ate the food; leaving some of the breakfast on the plate, the food which was directly in-contact with the tray.
She put on another coat of hand sanitizer.

Alice sighed, calming herself. She did a quick once-over of the boy--er, girl?--er...the person in front of her that sort of looked like something vaguely in-between the two genders. He seemed shy, so she found herself lucky that he wasn't one of those extremely talkative types, or one of those snooty, get-annoyed-easy types. Though she couldn't speak much on the types who got annoyed easy considering she was one of those people, she definitely hated snooty people. Always thinking they were so much better than her.

...the snow was too white, too perfect, too...something. It was disgusting how perfect it was, mocking her, laughing at her, teasing her about how unperfect she was with all her cuts and bruises and that fresh black eye.

Alice winced and clenched her fist, glaring at the person's shoes. She let out a calming breath which hardly managed to do any such thing, so she side-stepped the feminine boy and brushed past him, mood completely changed. She had a tendency to do that a lot--go from being extremely apologetic to glaringly angry. As she walked on, she heard others getting up and heading to the cafeteria for breakfast, but she never ate breakfast at home and didn't feel like it now. It would only give her a stomach ache anyway. Besides, she wasn't an anorexic patient so she shouldn't have any problems, she supposed.

--

Ciar was walking down the hall with a small smile on his face and his hands shoved in his pockets, whistling a tune to himself as he made his way to the cafeteria. Inside his pockets, his fingers were twisting around in nervousness. He was a new patient and today was his first real, full day here, so he needed to make an impression. He hadn't met any of the people yet and didn't know much about them, so that was a little disconcerting considering he usually always knew everything about everyone before going into a situation, but he supposed winging this one couldn't be so bad.

Stepping into the cafeteria, he noted the people that had already arrived. Ciar considered grabbing some food when his stomach growled, but decided against it with an upturned chin. These people had more germs than they were aware of and he didn't even have his gloves. He watched a couple of girls eat their eggs and shuddered. Disgusting. The germs coming out of their mouths and noses and even their eyeballs were floating around right at this very moment, circulating through the air to eventually dive-bomb him and attack his systems with strangers' bacteria and--

No, no, he had to stop. Ciar twitched and released the white-knuckled grip he had on his pants. His heart was racing in panic, but he couldn't panic here, not now--he hadn't met everyone yet. Pushing his thoughts behind him, Ciar strode up to the table with the girls and stood beside it, not daring to sit down or lean against it. "Hello, ladies," he said in his semi-strong Italian accent. "How would you be doing on this lovely morning?"

Ho Jea looked back up to the girl and saw the odd expression on her face. His eyes widened as she pushed pass him and walked away. "What's wrong with her?" He said out loud in a worried tone. He looked down at the corridor he was about to take but then looked at the opposite direction--where the girl walked off to. He bit hard on his bottom lip weighing his choices. He knew if he followed the girl, Jea Ho would notice his long absence and make a worried fit, not to mention scold him later when the see each other again. But then again, the girl's odd behavior amused him, for some reason he had the urge to follow her, but why? It's not that odd to see a bipolar woman act out, heck he lives right next to one, but for some reason her silence intrigued him. He sighed slightly and walked down south where the female headed. He just had to deal with Jea Ho's scolding and punishment--if ever he is given one-- later.

"Hey." he called out to the girl in a soft and shy tone at first, but seeing as it didn't catch her attention he was left with no other choice. "Hey, are you okay?" he said louder catching up to the female. He placed his hand on her shoulder and turned her to him, his face was a mixture of curious and worried.

Jea Ho felt that there was something wrong. He stood up to look over the shorter heads of the children and scanned the room, Ho Jea has yet to make his appearance. This made the older brother feel uneasy. The worst case scenarios kept flashing through his mind. Maybe he was lost and threw a tantrum, breaking all the S*** in the hall like last time, or maybe he had thrown a tantrum and locked himself in the room like he did last week or maybe he had gotten into another fight with those bullies who tease them about his tiara. He took in a few deep breaths to get those images out of his mind.

He stood from his chair and ealked around the cafeteria, thinking of a way to distract himself he made sure every one was eating properly. His eyes spotted a table and approached it. As he grew closer to the two girls he noticed on of them wasn't touching her food, and the other one was his new patient--and his brother's little crush. "Hey girls." he smiled down at the two as warmly as possible. "Having a good meal?" his eyes looked down at Ana's and noticed the grey monster on her trey. "Ana doesn't seem like she want's normal food."

~one~ ~two~ ~three~ taps went against Nevaeh's hip, brown eyes looking as both her and Ana were approached by Dr. Alexander and a new male; one of which she didn't know his name.

He was knew; she recognized that. She never forgot another patients, or a doctor's, name after hearing it even once.

"I'm doing alright; and the food is good, Dr. Alexander. An upgrade from the usual... mush." Smiling slightly, she then stood up.
Nevaeh put on another coat of hand sanitizer before she picked up her tray, walking to dump it in the given location for the plates to be cleaned.

~fourty-one~ ~fourty-two~ ~fourty-three~ ~fourty-four~...
She walked back to the table where Ana still sat; along with the company of Dr. Alexander and the new patient.

~one~ ~two~ ~three~
She tapped her hip, looking to her doctor before she asked softly, "What time is our appointment scheduled for, Doctor?"
Nevaeh didn't like asking for times, dates, really information or help in general. She usually knew this stuff; what time lunch started, the majority of times appointments happened with both herself and other patients, names, rooms patients were in, what time dinner started, lights-out time, how many steps she took a day, who was were during the day, etc.
But yet she hadn't been told the scheduled time of their appointment; so she didn't know.

Still, though, she felt she should already have that knowledge.

Ana tenses as Dr. Alexander approaches, praying that he hasn't noticed her full plate and grumbling stomach. Her prayers go unanswered, though, and Dr. Alexander comments on her food. Luckily, though, he's quickly distracted by Nev asking what time her appointment is scheduled and tries to slip away unnoticed. Then, she notices the new boy still lingering beside them and holds a finger up to her lips, indicating for him to follow her and leave Nev and Dr. Alexander in the cafeteria to avoid an impromptu, early morning psycho analysis.

Alice was a little surprised to hear a quiet voice calling out to her as she walked on. She turned her head back some as the person she'd run into then rudely passed by came up to her side. She was even more surprised once he asked her if there was anything wrong. A wide array of sarcastic responses came to mind, but she pushed them aside as she thought of a more polite and proper one. She wasn't one for conversations, but this person had managed to catch her off-guard, so she decided she liked him...for the moment, at least.

What was his name again? Alice wondered, but she couldn't remember. He was the younger brother of one of the counselors here, she knew that. But otherwise, she never really bothered learning much else about the others inhabiting this god-forsaken institution with her. But, she digressed. "I'm alright," she decided finally, slowly scooting away from his grip as her anger seeped away into a calmer subtle state. Alice went to turn, but paused, and glanced down the hall behind him. "What's your name?" she asked.

--

Ciro remained quiet during the time the counselor came and spoke to them. He was a little confused when the blond stood from the table and motioned for him to follow after her without so much as hardly touching her plate. After giving her a quick once over, he got the idea immediately of at least one reason why she might be here. Anorexia nervosa. He would have tutted if he wanted attention drawn to him, but he didn't, so he nodded and followed after her, at a distance of course. The aura itself was full of germs.

When they were out of earshot of the others, Cira spoke. "So, where were you intending on going?"

Tap tap tap tap...

Daniella's heels on her high black shoes clicked against the tile that lined Whisper's hallways.
She was one of the doctors at the psych ward; of which it stated on her identification badge, which was clipped onto the pocket of her black shirt, along with her full name; Daniella Cali

The neuropsychiatry major had begun working in the psychiatric institute for almost a year now, and she knew all the patient's rooms and names off by heart. She took time to know as much as their files provided when they first upped the numbers of patients.

Keeping up her walk down the hallway, her eyes were on the file papers of which held with both hands.
Ciro Capone; a new patient in the ward.

Well, speak of the devil. She thought as her hazel eyes raised from the papers, looking to two patients just outside the cafeteria.

"Anastasia Sheba and Ciro Capone; how are you two doing today?" Daniella inquired, looking to Ana first, then the new male.
She knew Anastasia; an anorexic girl in the ward, but Ciro has, according to filing papers, mysophobia. A severe fear of germs.
Well, it was nice to see he already seemed to click with one of the other patients.

Eyes squinting slightly, she then looked back to Ana. Breakfast, had the girl eaten it?
"Ana, have you eaten breakfast today?" Dispite the girl's answer, Daniella would still go and check with the current doctor on breakfast duty; Alexander.

"We're going somewhere without food." Ana answers his question simply, her prutuding ribs doing the rest of the explaining.

She leads the way through the halls, thinking that the newbie probably won't know his way, yet.

"I'm Ana, by the way." She offers him a hand, but he shrinks away from the handshake as though a touch might burn him.

Doctor Cali stops them in their tracks, with a kind smile and a disarming question. "Hi, Dr. Cali." she greets guiltily, scuffing her shoes on the floor like a kid who'd been caught doing something wrong, "Yeah, I've eaten." She glances back at Ciro, silently willing him to go along with the lie.

Dr. Daniella Cali's eye brows raised slightly, but went back to normal as she spoke to the two patients.

"Will Dr. Alexander agree with that statement, Ana? Or do I have to go ask him?"
Daniella's eyes looked un-wavered, not harsh, but surprisingly soft.
She rarely, and that means very very rarely, got angry with a patient. Years studying neuropsychiatry in medical school were not taken without patience, and that has only moved forward into her job.

Oh, and Ciro Capone. Daniella's eyes looked to the boy as she spoke, briefly introducing herself, meaningly without a handshake, before she got a latter answer from Ana.
"My name is Dr. Cali, Daniella if you will. Though it almost goes without saying; I'm one of the neuropsychiatrists at Whisper."

Her hazel eyes then shifted back to Ana, a soft smile on her face.
Daniella knew Anastasia hadn't eaten; she knew very well when people were lying... she wanted to get the truth from her first is all.

Ciro flinched away and shook his head when offered Ana's hand. Not too soon after a few minutes of walking through the hall came a woman he had yet to be acquainted with yet. She was good-looking and he couldn't help but smile as she made her presence known by speaking to them, then introducing herself as one of the staff-members there. She seemed like a woman who knew what she was doing and Ciro enjoyed that.

When Ana openly lied about having eaten breakfast and looked to him for support, his smile turned to a small frown. What was he supposed to do? Lie for her? Although he was known for being a star lier when need be, Ciro never really enjoyed lying when it was truly unnecessary. Not to mention weren't they here to get better? And if his speculations were correct--that Ana really was an obvious anorexic patient--lying to this neuropsychiatrist would not seem to help the issue one bit. As much as he didn't really want Ana to dislike him for not going along with this story, Ciro just couldn't find it in himself to do so, so he merely pretended that he never even saw the pleading look.

"Nice to meet you, Dr. Cali," Ciro nodded, nails scratching the inside of his pockets repetitively as if they were trying to escape. He watched Dr. Cali as she spoke and took an unconscious step back from the two.

Awaiting a response from the anorexic patient;
Daniella's hazel eyes shifted to Ciro Capone's face, noting obviously he was becoming stressed over the situation.

"I dont suppose you've missed breakfast, Ciro? They still have food in the cafeteria, if either of you wont like seconds... or firsts."
The neuropsychiatrist's eyes glanced at Ana. From history, she was sure Ana wouldn't be caught dead in a kitchen for seconds.

But that's why the anorexic was at Whisper's; to be caught in the kitchen for seconds, but, well, without being dead.

"Dr. Alexander had had the usual breakfast swapped out, I heard. Eggs and bacon."
Another soft smile fading onto her face, she took a quick swiping glance down at her file papers, before meeting the eyes of Anastasia.
Breakfast was the most important meal of the day; and vital to a patients recovery, esspecially Ana's.

"Maybe I skipped breakfast." Ana admits after an uncomfortably long period of silence, "I'm not hungry."

She doesn't mind admitting things such as this to Dr. Cali - she won't get snappy, or lecture her about her health and blah, blah, blah. She knows the doctors simply want to help, but their misguided attempts at curing her go unappreciated; she's only here on her parents orders and wants to sign herself out the moment she is old enough.

"Alright," Dr. Daniella Cali said, keeping eye contact with Ana.
She wasn't disappointed; in a way, it wasn't the girl's fault. But she was still there to help.

"How about, just to prevent you from becoming hungry in an hour or so, you eat half of an apple, Ana?"

Daniella smiled softly, pointing to her right in the direction her office was as she spoke,
"I have one in my office; useful if I get hungry besides mealtime."

Convenient she thought; though it really was. She usually brang fruit for snacks; thinking of scarcely her and mostly Ana.
A mandrin orange was also in her lunch incase Anastasia refused to eat the next course of food at the ward.

Hazel eyes glanced back, presently kind.

Jea Ho smiled slightly as at the girl; even if she confirmed that she was fine he still doubted her. "I'm fine" was a generic answer from anyone, he should know that's all his replied to his brother. "Liars, go to hell." He said in a joking tone, his face still showing his concern.

He looked at the girls face to try to conjure up an image of her name. He knew he saw the girl around this hell whole once or twice, but never gave her much notice. He could remember his brother talk about her a few times, "Don't hang out with her too much." he use to tell the younger brother. It was obvious that he didn't like her much but then again he was so protective he ended up telling the younger male to stay away from anyone; he wondered sometimes if it was for their own safety or his.

"I-it's Angel." He answered the girl with a shy smile.

Re: ~o n e~ ~t w o~ ~t h r e e~ ~OOC~

Waiting for a replying post, from anyone to anyone... :P
Been a week and a day guys, lets pick it up, alright? :)

Re: ~o n e~ ~t w o~ ~t h r e e~ ~OOC~

I've just noticed that a lot of the times the role-play will go without a new post for five days, and its been becoming a pattern.
Just checking people are, hopefully, still active. But its nice to know you, Spectrum, and WheresWally, to my understanding, are active when possible. :)

Re: ~o n e~ ~t w o~ ~t h r e e~ ~OOC~

Sorry, sorry! I haven't posted for a while, but I'm still here. I apologize, I've been busy with school and getting sick, Dx. But I just posted.

Re: ~o n e~ ~t w o~ ~t h r e e~ ~OOC~

Waiting for someone else to post, again. Everyone still active in the role-play?

Re: ~o n e~ ~t w o~ ~t h r e e~ ~OOC~

Currently waiting for someone else to continue with a post. :)

Re: ~o n e~ ~t w o~ ~t h r e e~ ~OOC~

Update: I added a new character, which is going to be played by me, named Daniella Jennifer Cali. She is going to be an addition to the 1, possibly 2 (unsure how active one is), doctors at Whisper. :)

Re: ~o n e~ ~t w o~ ~t h r e e~ ~OOC~

Naturally patients can choose their doctors and introduce them through a roleplay post, but you can also go and talk with a patient or something of the sort and pretend their your patient, jsut check if they already have a doctor or not. :)

Re: ~o n e~ ~t w o~ ~t h r e e~ ~OOC~

I need to know now who wants me as a doctor

Re: ~o n e~ ~t w o~ ~t h r e e~ ~OOC~

Oh, okay, just making sure. Thanks, x3

Re: ~o n e~ ~t w o~ ~t h r e e~ ~OOC~

Do you mean sessions between the two?
If so, that is determined through the roleplay by the doctor characters and patients at the times, which they can choose.
Two doctors as characters are currently accepted; and if both fail to advance and enter into the roleplay, or fall off in replying, I will create a doctor to play myself.
Other then that; doctors/patients can arrange their own patient-doctor schedules, if they wish.

Re: ~o n e~ ~t w o~ ~t h r e e~ ~OOC~

I have a question, how are you planning to do the patient/doctor things?

Re: ~o n e~ ~t w o~ ~t h r e e~ ~OOC~

I suppose I should be your doctor

Re: ~o n e~ ~t w o~ ~t h r e e~ ~OOC~

Alright, the roleplay is now edited, characters accepted, and first post posted. :)

Re: [OOC] o n e t w o t h r e e

could you accept both of our characters?

Re: [OOC] o n e t w o t h r e e

Ooh, I'll make a character as soon as you or someone else does first. I never like being the first to make one. I like a reference of some sort for reassurance, x3. But I will definitely make one!

One, Two, Three (OOC)

This is the auto-generated OOC topic for the roleplay "One, Two, Three"

Whispering Willows Institutional Psych Ward was built in 1987 to help disturbed or troubled children of the adolescent years; sent there either to protect them from their past, or themselves.

Please, feel free to check out the IC roleplay; link located above. And, if it sparks an interest in you, I’d love to see a character sheet go up.

Update
march 11, 2011

Right now we current have five patients in Whisper; and two doctors.
I will wait on it and see if at least 1-2 more Doctor/Nursing staff character sheets go up. If not, then I will create a doctor/staff member character that works at Whisper. Until this is determined; I will be hesitant in accepting more patients.

Also, I have realized it might be easier if I post a schedule up of general activities: (breakfast, lunch, lights out, wake up, bedtime, etc.)

~wake-up
(from 7:00 am to 10:00 am patients are free to sleep in or get up when they wish. From 10:01 am to 12:00 pm nursing staff are supposed to wake patients) 7:00-12:00 am

~breakfast
8:30-9:30 am

~lunch
12:00-1:00 pm

~therapy sessions
(determined by doctors/nursing staff and/or patients) ?:??-?:??

~doctor visits/sessions/etc.
(determined by doctors/nursing staff and/or patients) ?:??-?:??

~dinner/supper
5:00-6:30 pm

~other recreational activites
(determined by doctor/nursing staff or patient) ?:??-?:?? am

~bedtime
9:00-10:00 pm

~lights out

Update
march 12, 2011

6/7 of the characters have officially made their first post into Whisper. Exciting! :)

Also, there's been a mix up in the 'places' for the roleplay; done accidentally on my part. ignore them.
