ivy sits in her desk with paper wads being thrown at her head and praying for the bell to ring. finally it rang and she got up and walked to her locker. she felt someone pull on her hair. " hey loser freak why dont you let me beat on you alittle?" i rolled my eyes and walked off with my art and song book in my arms. '' never in my life would i let you lay a hand on me." i smiled and ran to my car.i drove to my lonely home to draw till i get tired then sleep then go back to school.

OOC Notes
Alex was sitting in the classroom waiting for the bell to signal the end of class. Closing the book he was reading he looked up to see that Ivy was getting harassed again. He did not understand why they picked her to bully. However, it was beginning to grate on his nerves and he knew that if it continued he would get involved and people would be unhappy. Then the bell rang and he headed to his locker. After he has all his things he walks home to prepare himself for tomorrow's events.
OOC Notes
''hmm'' ivy sighs as she draws another scence in the manga she was writing. she looked at all of the little kids playing in the park and all the squirels running around. she smiled but it soon faltened as the person in the hall came back and this time he slapped her to the ground and threw her on his shoulder walking into a old brunt up house.

Alex walks by a park on along his way. As he did he saw the girl that was being bullied in school and started to walk towards her. He does not get three steps before someone knocks her to the ground and then starts to carry her off. Gathering his courage he decides to follow and see if he can help her. They head into a burnt out ruin of a house and eh follows them inside.

the guy throws her to a wall and kicks her. he kicks her in the stomach hard enough to make her gag. he then slaps her.he keeps this up till shes gagging up blood. she hatted it she wanted to kick them and say stop. but now she was to weak.

Alex enters the building and sees the man take Ivy into a side room. Grabbing a burnt board he moves to see what is going on. He sees her on the wall and raises the board as the approaches the man. Once in range he swings the board at the mans head. With a small thud the board strikes him and he crashes into the wall before falling to the floor unconscious. Dropping the board he rushes over to the girl. She seems conscious, but to weak to move. Looking at her he says, "Don't talk until we get out of here." He gently picks her up and begins to carry her from the structure.

she weakly nods and feels him pick her up. she breathes lightly and wipes some blood from her mouth. they got out and she smiles weakly at him.'' thank you!'' she smiles and looks down.'' i geuss i asked for that, smarting off.'' she said looking at him and coaking her head to one side.'' who are you sir?'' she asked him her vioce loaded with couriousity.

After they get to safety the girl thanks him for his help. "No need to thank me," he says. He frowns at her remark about deserving the beating and says, " No one deserves that kind of treatment. I don't want to hear you say something like that again." When she asks his name he flushes with embarrassment before answering, "Sorry for not introducing myself, call me Alex. Pardon me for asking, but who are you?"

''i'm Ivy!'' she smiled.''but you saved my life! how can i not thank you?'' she questioned him. but then she smiled agian and asked.''would you like to come to my house for coffee?'' she smiled and pointed to a building with a gray brick outside.she looked at him again.''you could probably put me down i bet i'm heavy.'' she said.

"You don't need to thank me because I only did what was right," Alex replied. While he set her down on her feet he returned her smile and said, "Truth be told Ivy you are not heavy at all, and I would be honored to have a cup of coffee with you."

Blushes and smiles.'' well then come on!'' she smiled trying to walking and stumbles a little but then walks steadily. she walked to her room and puts on some coffee to start.'' im going to take a shower and get this blood off.'' she smiled and walked off to her room.'' make your self at home.'' she yells back at him as she starts her water.

Alex let Ivy led him toward her house. When she stumbles he moves to catch her, but she catches herself and then does not stumble again. He sits at the table was she prepares the coffee. He nods his acknowledgment of her statement about taking a shower. While he waits for her to finish he proceeds to find a paper towel, then moves back to the table. Pulling a pen out of his pocket and begins doodling while he waits for Ivy to finish her shower.

she steps out with her hair wet. she wore a pair of jeans and a tank top. she smiled and gave him a cup of coffee.''so do you go to Gray Falls High School?'' she asked sipping her coffee.

Alex thanks Ivy for the coffee. He could see that she was quite beautiful now that she had cleaned herself off. He takes a sip of his coffee before answering her question, "yes, that's the name of my school. I'm curious do you go there as well?"

smiles and sits her drink down.''yes i do.'' she says geting up and letting her puppy in the house. the young husky came and jumped on alex's lap.''Aneko no down!'' ivy yelled at her.

Alex is pleased that the two of them go to the same school. He sits there quietly drinking his coffee. Suddenly the husky that Ivy had let into the house jumps on his lap. "Its ok," he says, " I like dogs." He pets the dogs head gently and continues, "And apparently this dog likes me."

smiles and giggles.'' shes so big though!'' she said kissing the dogs nose and looking at how close her face was to his and she backed away.''im sorry!'' she said and looked at the cloack it was past eleven!.'' oh my its late! you can stay here i have an extra bed.'' she smiled at him pointing to a closed door.

"She is not that big," Alex says. He blushes when she backs away apologizing and says to her, "you have nothing to be sorry for." Her exclamation about the time causes him to look at the clock. After her offer he says, "yes, your right it is late. I most gratefully except your hospitality, but there is one condition you have to let me make breakfast."

Remembering Alex says, " your right I will need my uniform." He gently removes the dog from his lap as he rises to his feet. Moving to the door he says, "you need to stop apologizing for your actions. you did me a great favor and reminded me of something I otherwise would have forgotten." As he opens the door he says, "Thank you for the coffee it was good. Remind me sometime and I will make you breakfast. As for school I will see you there and feel free to come and speak to me about anything." Then he leaves closing the door behind him and hustles home.

ivy woke up and got her uniform on as she ate and let the dog out. she grabbed her bag and ran out. if she didnt hurry she would be late, and it's not easy running with her uniform on.''im late!'' she yelled and then she finally got into the school and then into her room. she heaved her chest up and down as she breathed heavily. she sat in her seat and looked around for alex. where was he?

Rei threw on the school uniform's jacket and dashed out of his bedroom door. In the 'living room' Maiko was already dressed and ready, a backpack clutched in her hands, a look of anxiety mixing with the sorrow of her beautiful face.
"You okay? Going to a new school can be daunting, I hear."
"I'll be fine as long as you stay with me, Rei," Maiko smiled serenely. Her voice was quiet and calm. She turned to follow Rei out the door of their small apartment.
About twenty minutes later, Maiko and Rei dashed through the door, just in time before the first bell rang. Maiko released Rei's wrist, which she had been holding onto as they ran, and slid into one of the desks. Rei pushed himself into the next one, and became embarrasingly aware of the admiring stares of several girls around him.
As if I'd want to have anything to do with any of them...he thought to himself. He turned and looked at Maiko, who was looking up at the front, and felt something in his heart jump a bit. She turned, and saw his gaze, which he averted too late.
"What?" she asked, blushing a bit. "Is there something on my face?"
"Er...nothing..."
Rei was spared the awkward moment as the class began.
