Ray smiled when Brittany confirmed his guesses, watching her with increased interest every second. She was definitely worth a few dates. The only thing that would really matter was her actual age compared to his. . . he was lying too after all. No obvious reason why, though.
"What do you like?... I'm thinking maybe shrimp and steak. You a surf and turf guy? Or maybe perhaps... Hmmm?... I don't know, I can't see you being a vegetrian, so I'm thinking maybe something like the ribeye with a lobster tail and side salad. But I'm probably way off aren't I?" She bit her lip and winced, laughing again. Ray chuckled and nodded, his green eyes sparkling.
"You read me well," he said. He heard the receiving end of the call pick up and listened to Brittany's responses. She kept glancing at him and he allowed himself to wink at her one of those times. She was not a wasted flirt, no matter how this turned out.
When she was finished, she smiled coyly at Ray and asked him what he thought. He nodded his approval and followed her eyes to Kody and Alicia.
"They do, don't they. Come on," he said with a smile. He placed his hand on the small of her back gently and began leading her towards the isolated Kody and Alicia. As they walked he leaned down and whispered in her ear. "Actually, they would make a good couple, don't you think?"
When they reached the two, he held out his hand to Alicia first. "Miss Alicia, you look wonderful." He grinned and shook her hand, noticing the blush in her cheeks. "I'm Ray Jones; you might know me as MiamiDudeJones, though. It's a pleasure to finally meet you face to face," he said. He nodded and let Brittany say hello, moving on to Kody.
"Hey, Kody. How are you?" he asked with a firm handshake and pat on the shoulder. "I'm Ray Jones. We've been talking on Aim, if I'm correct."
Ray knew the two from chat rooms and he was sure they had faceook accounts, but ones that were rarely used.
Sophia noticed the initial tension and confusion between the boys, but was relieved that it seemed to ease up a little. Tyler smiled sweetly at her and Spencer gave her a cocky grin. She appreciated both in their own unique way.
"Sophia," she said with a smile. "But you're welcome to call me Isabella if you wish," she flirted. She held out her hand and shook both Tyler and Spencer's hands, blushing with the smiles they gave her. "Oh, my feet," she said with a small pout. "Do you boys mind if we move to the couch, my feet are hurting from these heels." It was then she realized that her Spanish accent was making its appearance subtly. It occurred to her that that really only happened when she was really flirting or very angry. In this case, it would be the first.
Not waiting on their answer, she curled a finger at them as she headed towards the couch. "Come on boys, there's plenty of room for both of you," she encouraged.
