Helio. A system within the Yoru Galaxy that is controlled by the Kelin Federation. Helio is a diverse system with animals, planets and residents of all range the imagination existing within it. With the system being as large as it is, things like piracy go largely unchecked. The most famous of pirates is Organok, Captain of the Ariance, the fastest and most recognizable like looking thing in the System. Recently Organok has been recruiting everyone from Mercenaries to Scientists to Bounty Hunters for his Crew. Now all that's left is to call these people to the city of Sal on the remote planet of Gren. From there the adventure begins as they travel from planet to planet searching for treasure and whatever else they can fall into. Thus this journey begins in Sal...

Okay, I know, hard to understand. Basically this is a space pirate-esque roleplay about the crew of the Ariance. Rather than having one large main plot it will consist of several arcs taking place on different planets, some even occurring on the ship itself. I realized I through a bunch of italics at you and we will get to explaining those soon. But before we continue we have to address something. Despite the 60's sounding intro, this is very much so a kind of comical take on it. While I do hope everyone takes posting and all that seriously, understand that this is about adventure and essentially creating an entire galaxy out of nothing. While we will start out in the Helio system, if it lasts long enough the roleplay can keep expanding. As for the short arc's, except the first one, every roleplayer will have an arc that they control. Essentially they become the shaper of that Arc. That Arc will be based around your character (likely something involving their past or just something they've always wanted to do) and you will lead us through it. You will supply the enemy (i.e. boss villain) and so on and so forth. Is is truly a start from scratch roleplay, now to introduce people and places...

Settings: (This will be updated as we continue the story.)

Ariance: A powerful pirate ship owned and created by the great pirate Organok. The Ariance and its crew travel the Helio System searching for legendary treasures and hunting the most wanted monsters in the galaxy.

Yoru Galaxy: As you can guess, the technology is advanced, but that doesn't apply everywhere. While one System contains nothing but City Planets, another could be predominately forest worlds.

Helio System: Where our story takes place. Helio has close to a dozen worlds and each varies from the next. For now we will only be introduced to two.

Gren: Largely uncivilized planet rich in natural beauty but sparse in population. Only one city is known to exist on Gren based on Kelin Federations data It is said that Gren was once a bountiful planet, but the years have not been kind; Gren has apparently been stripped of its resources, leaving its residents to scrape up a living as best they can. The Federation is to blame for this.

Loren: An advanced city the size of the entire planet. It is home to the Kelin federation, and is the most beautiful and busy place to live. With buildings the size of a football field, Loren is the most populated planet in the Helio System. Many famous events took place in Loren, and many extremely important sites are located in this thriving city. Every day, one thousand people or more visit Loren to see Arena Battles, to visit the Freid Starship Factory, or to view the 300 story Kelius Towers. While Loren is home to all these attractions, Loren has its own celebrities, including Reo and Mr. Heldenworth.

NPC Characters: (same as above. Pictures will be available for these in a thread located in the OOC tab. Most of the staff of the Ariance will be NPC'd, but the First-Mate and Organok will be done by me.)

Organok: He is a wise, proud, dangerous, intelligent and somewhat lecherous old man. He spends much of his time either Captaining the Ship or attempting perverted acts. Indeed, while he is the most feared and respected pirate in the system, he is also a crazy old man with a lot of free time.

First-Mate: While she has an actual name, the first mate just like to be called by either First-Mate or First. She appears as a white cat and strangely enough speaks with a males voice, often being mistaken for one. When the captain is napping or is not around she is the one in charge and often takes advantage. Nevertheless she a good person who care about her crew.

Kelin Federation: A political entity that controls much of the Helio System and as such act as its government. Members of the Federation will be added in later.

Reo: A famous idol on Loren who works at the Galaxy Corporation headquarters as a day job. She is, among other things, responsible for renewing Galactic Travel Visas. When she is at one of her famous concerts, a robotic clone called R10 fills in for her at Galaxy Corporation. Reo has her own fan-club, totaling over 75000 members.

Mr: Heldenworth: A famous reporter whose daily news show airs on most of the planets in the Helio System.
