Introduction

Sandron looked down on the canvas in front of him, he had just finished wipeing out another universe gone awry. He realized with a start that he was not capable of creating perfection on such a large scale. He knew he needed ones such as himelf, yet not as strong as to attempt perfection on a large scale such as he had. He knew if he was to do this he would need to break down his own power. His pure energy may have been perfect, but it was to strong for the type of beings he was to make. So the Sandron took a small amount of his power, broke it even smaller into halves, then multiplied it till it filled everywhere. One of the energys was powerful, chaotic and destructive while the other was peaceful, harmonized and ordered. He dubbed them Divine Energy and Denomic Energy he planned it so only his "Demons" as he dubbed them could tap into Denomic Energy and "Gods" as he dubbed could only tap into Divine Energy once all was ready he began to create them...in the Demons he poured his Denomic energy into a mold type thing which he then gave consciousness and a tint of evil into it's mind. Into the Gods forms he poured divine energy which was tinted with purity and then gave them a consciousness he watched with interest as their minds developed.

Rules

No Godmodding (Oh the irony)
No killing other people or their creations without their consent.
I am GM.

A bit on Divine/Denomic Energy.
Divine and Denomic energy is what the gods use to mold the universe. Basically creating a planet would cost say...1 divine/denomic energy while creating divine servants costs 2, sentients cost 1, non-sentients cost 0 etc. if you're not sure how much a certain thing will cost ask me first.
Basically every 3 to 4 days you will be given 12 divine/denomic energy points. As mentioned above each large action you do will cost 1 to 3 points (more if it's big) small things like making youself a different physical form will not cost anything. You may "save your points" but to keep the creating rolling I will say that if you go over 200 points something bad will happen. Also, if you do not wish to recieve points for a while due to the fact your going away or something please PM me. For the starting 3 to 4 days you will be given 20 points instead of 12 to kickstart the creative process.

For sake of simplicity each God will have the entire lexicon of english in their heads as well as the concept of humanoid creatures, trees, sentience, non-sentience, planets, stars etc.

Post whether your a God or a Demon in Physical Description.

If you have any specific questions please post them. Or if you want more info on somthing post that to.

In one he poured evil, denomic energy and the will to conquer, in another he poured music, denomic energy and melody into it's mind but frowned and continued as it's appearence and mind were suddenly flawed, in another he poured life, harmony, growth and divine energy, but so intent on creating a peaceful being he left out war, bitterness and jelousy and in the last one he poured an equal mixture of divine and denomic energy unfortonately poured to much as his mind wandered

He called come forth "Come forth Malthorn, Sonitus, Ornathon and Living in Light!

Sonitus tried again to take physical appearance, concentrating with what attention her broken mind could muster but in vain. There was only a distorted, wanning disturbance in the air accompanied by a brief burst of chaotic but not unmelodious noise. She laughed hysterically, it sounded almost joyous for reasons only known to her broken mind and the voices and music that whispered in her head. Suddenly, there was new sound, "Come forth Malthorn, Sonitus, Ornathon and Living in Light!" It was her creator, finished with molding the others and her expected her to come. There was nothing else she could see nor hear and so found it the most interesting option, running to Sandron and appearing suddenly in front of him as a sort of concentration of music and noise. You could faintly hear her footsteps and sense the disturbance in the air but there was nothing to be seen. "I have come; sound needs only a disturbance to be found..." The demon chuckled in quiet insanity.

As Living in the light gained consciousness it looked around at the universe it had been put in, its mind filling with the desire to create life, to find harmony, to make things grow. Looking around the crux, Living in the light became aware of the other beings around itself. Feeling that it would be rude to remain otherwise, Living in the light pulled itself into the physical form of an elderly humanoid dressed in multicolored robes. It turned to Sandron and bowed its head, speaking softly "Lord Sandron, I am here, may I begin the task I was born to do?"

“Come forth Malthorn, Sonitus, Ornathon, and Living in Light!” said a powerful voice. Malthorn took notice. He heard the power in that voice, the shear strength and might that accompanied it. He wanted it, that power, strength, and might. As such he went to it. The closer Malthorn got the more he was awed by it. Then he was in his creator’s presents, his master’s power overwhelmed him, and Malthorn knew that he would do what he needed to someday acquire power like or similar to it. He appeared as a small man in impeccably neat and gleaming black plate armor. “What dose the almighty Over-Deity wish of me a lesser being by comparison” asked Malthorn in a polite and civil voice? As he waited for Lord Sandron to speak with his intensely powerful voice he silently though of how great it would be to have that much power and what he would do with it.

Reverting to a quieter voice he spoke to his creations "Most of you know what you have been brought into existence to do. The area around you is nothing except for here, at the center which you shall know as the crux. You have been created to sow the seeds of creation among this barren nothingness." he looked at them, mainly seeing comprehension in their faces. "Very well then now begone from the crux, you may stay here if you are in danger or if you must urgently commune with me but this universe is your canvas, and you are the paints, do as you wish with this oververse." He then teleported them out of the crux and into different areas of the Oververse.

Ornathon POV

As he was wisked away by Sandron he thought of the infinite possibilitys this Oververse had, unlike those inferior mortals before him he would not be restrained by laws! He would be the laws! He then realized the porblem with this, with no laws there would be no challenge, nor any invention, he made a mental note to himself to begin thinking of things that would be restraining to something such as himself, he then arrived at his little corner of the oververse.

((Ok, I'm hoping you're idea of god-modding isn't too strict. Lol...))
A canvas? Oh yes, this will be an interesting picture if I have anything to do with it... Sonitus thought, hovering in the void that Sandron The Over-Deity had placed her in. Her mind, broken as it was, bubbled with ideas, thoughts and new complexions to give this blank painting to be a portrait of her madness but first it needed something more. All sound needs a medium to travel and she was no different. The demon let out a hysterical laugh sending a ripple through the blackness and from this strange vibration there was a sudden wave of colour and distorted sound. A giant nebula of gas, rock and shattered fragments of crystalline structures formed in the great heat of the spontaneous explosion of this new existence. Intense reds, greens and blues drifted in the surrounding nothingness and the whole cloud seemed to sing. The rocks, guided by Sonitus' hand, swirled and danced in the pool of matter around eachother slowly were brought together. The impact reduced them to dust, a sound like the crash of drums pleasing the deity's ears, and the particles were dragged towards eachother again, compressing and clinging until the mass coalesced as an orb; A new planet. Its surface was cragged with cliff-faces, great pits and massive mountains with pools of new elements forming in the intense cold that soon enveloped the world; Nitrogen, Helium and many others. It needed something to warm it up, something to keep it moving.

Sonitus sang softly to the nebula like a dark lullaby, calling its gasses to come together like the planet but differently. Obedient they did, two gigantic orbs of gas were pulled from the mass of matter and then suddenly her tone changed. A wall of deep, fiery music hit them and they were ignited into flaming suns. Building the volume of the chaotic noise the suns circled eachother in a deadly dance, feeding off of eachother's fuel. The planet began to orbit them as well, the heat melting the pools so that they became an atmosphere, there was still a large red and green nebula encompassing the volatile system and the demon stepped back to observe her work. Another fit of laughter rippled through the Over-verse.

Malthorn looked about his area of the Oververse it was barren and lifeless. Malthorn waved his hand and sent into motion a swirl of movement. Huge rock’s moved and crashed into one another, large amount’s of gases poured into the area, and nuclear reaction’s started to take place. Soon he had a acceptable solar system formed. It had a large yellow sun, three planet’s, an asteroid belt in the outer edge of the system. Of the three planet’s two were gas giant’s, one was infinitely cold, one was supremely hot, the last one were capable of supporting life.

Malthorn choose to start with the one second to the sun. In moment’s he had brought forth massive jungle’s, large sweeping desert’s, high cold mountain top’s, and gigantic area’s of plain’s. He then added all the lower weak life form’s that were required, the herbivore’s, and single cell organism’s. When he had the necessity’s for the creation of stronger life form’s he began work on them.

Sonitus watched her new solar system spin about itself, crushing another planet into existence to orbit with the other, this one with giant pillars of glass and crystal dotting its dry surface. She smiled to herself momentarily until voices crept into the cracks of her mind, a feeling like ice and the demon shivered. The told her it was not enough, too stable and too boring for her masterpiece, that others were watching and wanted it. These whispers soon became a scream; her scream. Sonitus decended upon her first planet and inhale, bringing in the gases that swirled in the atmosphere and letting then crash together to form new molecules. She exhaled in a wail, music bringing the molecules together to form cells that spread across the surface in a swirling mist. Many of these cells became a strange, plant like organisms that fed off of the light and the strange liquids that rested upon the planet but were unlike plants any had seen before. They were like a mass of red tentacles stemming from the ground and winding up rocks, bulbous outcroppings had slits or vents across them. Other such plants followed, some like trees with stone fruits or moss that hummed but each species little alike. Next animals of great variance appeared, ranging from massive to impossibly tiny.

Some were like giant insects with hides of stone and eyes of flame, others clawing and furred beasts that clinged to the rocks and innumerable other species. Sonitus allowed them to fight, eat and settle with one another as they had been designed with no balance of environment conceived. They would find a place, adapt and change or die and it sounded wonderful. She laughed, setting to work on a sentient being to walk upon this world and see the crystal planet in the sky.

Malthorn needed an army. An army of loyal troop’s willing to die for him, an army he would use to control the sentient races he would soon place on the planet. He would create these first being’s, these Elder One’s. Yes he liked that name Elder One’s, he now would begin on there construction and with them control all he set his sight on.He made them Grotesque bug like being’s that stand on two leg’s and have four arm’s. Two large one’s with opposable thumb’s and three finger’s on each hand. As well as two smaller one’s that end in sharp serrated scythe’s. They have solid amber red eye’s and there chitin or exoskeleton is solid black. On there back’s there shell open’s up to let out two large insect like wing’s that allow them to fly at speed's up to eight mile's an hour.

He formed the Elder One’s to have different personalities for the most part. However they all live to serve Malthorn and enjoy being cruel and enforcing his will on the mortal race’s. They will live forever unless killed in battle as time will not harm them. They are super fast and strong, but they are particularly vulnerable to silver which can cause immense harm to them. They wear a black cloaks to hide themselves. They carry steel long swords and daggers for use as offensive weaponry. They wear no armor because there thick hard exoskeletons are just as strong as almost any plate armor.

Eager to begin its task, Living in the light drifted off to a small corner of existence and began thinking, considering how to begin its project. While it thought, Living in the light felt a current of energy flowing into it, filling it with the power to do what it wanted.
*A planet, life needs something to live on.* Living thought to itself, and drawing forth a small portion of the divine energy it had been imbued with it formed a large sphere of dirt and water and pushed and pulled on it until there were continents and islands and mountains and valleys and deep water trenches, the planet was almost entirely covered with water with only a few tiny continents clustered at one spot on the sphere. Ignoring the land and sliding its consciousness down into the depths of the vast ocean Living in the light paused and considered the world it had created.
*To watch over the new life I shall need helpers who will always be there, that is what I will make first* and pulling out a larger portion of its energy Living in the light brought forth three divine minions who would each monitor a section of the planet.
The first was made in the form of a green humanoid bearing four feathered wings, several eyes, two of which were on long stalks, and large hands. Pulling itself into a humanoid form, Living in the light spoke to its first creation "You shall be known as Flight, your charge is to watch over the creatures that I will place on the continents above, guide them and bring me information of their growth." and the first creation flew off to wait for its charges to be formed.
The second was long and serpentine with skin in a multitude of hues and thin arms ending in soft hands. Speaking again Living in the light commanded "You shall be known as Beauty, your charge is to be the watcher of the creatures that I place in the shallow waters of this world, guide them, watch their growth and report it to me. And with that the second creation snaked off to await its turn.
For the third divine minion Living in the light considered the environment it would be in and gave it a thick, hard, shell and short, stout arms, for its head it had a rock-like skull and a narrow mouth. Living in the light spoke to it "You shall be Known as Strength, you shall be in charge of those I place in the deepest depths of the oceans on this world, watch them, guide them, observe their growth, and tell me of what occurs." and the third minion sped off to the deeps.

Rising again above the planet it had made, living in the light felt that the divine energy flowing through it had been depleted, but it still had enough to finish its work. Focusing on the rocky continents it covered them with a wide variety of trees and smaller plants bursting with fruit and vegetation along the ground, and it drew along the surface of the ground rivers and streams to nourish its creations, Living in the light then sent forth a multitude of animals to maintain the balance of what had been put there, short digging beasts to find roots and spread their seeds across the earth, flying birds to grab the fruits from the upper reaches of the trees, and numerous other mindless animals that would keep the flow of life going. Finished with that, Living in the light drew forth another small portion of its divine energy and crafted a being to live on the ground, to wander through the lush home it had been given, and to live harmoniously with its fellow creations, one that could think and grow and learn from what it experienced. the creature would have long legs to help it climb, four of them for stability, strong arms for lifting and moving and crafting things, it would have a sturdy torso so that it could do these things without breaking, and the most important part was the mind, the creature would be filled with an insatiable curiosity about the world around it, and it would also innately understand the ebb and flow of harmony around it. Pleased with its creation, Living in the light placed a small group of the creatures near a river and, after giving them the gift of speech, went to the ocean, trusting its divine minion to watch over them.

Moving to the shallow water of the planet, Living in the light again spread plant-life across the ocean floor and into the rivers and streams and lakes as well as the mindless animals that would populate it. After completing this, Living in the light decided that, to maintain harmony, it should also place thinking beings beneath the waves. These beings would have the same mind as those that walked the dirt, but their bodies would be better suited for underwater living. Drawing forth again from the flow of divine energy, it gave them a body that was streamlined for quick travel, a basically humanoid form but with wide fins replacing the feet and along the spine, gills for filtering either the salty water of the ocean of the sweet water of the streams, and large eyes that could penetrate the murky waters they lived in with ease. Filling them with energy, Living in the light placed them near a kelp forest and gave them the gift of speech as well, although a different form of speech that would travel through water.

falling into the deepest, darkest parts of the ocean, Living in the light took a different tactic when creating the plants and animals that would live there, instead of the need for light to see or oxygen to breathe these creatures would be able to detect the presence of other living beings by using a system of sub-sonic sounds that would bounce off the world around them and their lungs would only need the salt of the ocean to provide their bodies with the fuel to live. For the thinkers of the deep, Living in the light used the same body template as the creatures around it but if would also have four powerful arms, needed to move things in the depths, a much more refined system of echolocation, and for the mind it received a much stronger desire to build than the thinkers of the shallows or the dirt above. Living in the light placed these beings near a magma stream that they could use to begin building with and slowly withdrew.

Pleased, and nearly depleted, Living in the light wrapped itself into a large ball of light and set itself nears it new creation, wondering what it would create with the small amount of energy remaining in it.
(Total amount of divine energy spent would be ten to twelve points)

Sonitus' busy hands went to work on creating a sentient, humanoid race of beings to help make the new planet even more beautiful and lively. She gave them two legs but shaped so that they bent to allow for their wolf-like legs however their torsos, arms and hands were otherwise very human-like though their fingers were very long with sharp nails and an overall athletic and bony look. Their heads were also configured similar to that of human creatures however their slit-like eyes were completely pitch black and their teeth were large and sharp. She made then mostly bald but with hair on their heads and their skin was tough, grey in hue but with smatterings of neon green spots and markings. The demon made their minds hungry for more than just food but creative, giving them a portion of her musical prowess. She placed a group of them on either side of the planet with one in the northern hemisphere and the other in the south, giving them both language but making one the near opposite of the other and naming the species 'Dreans'. Feeling that she had done enough for now Sonitus retreated to the second planet, laughing and letting her presence make the crystals quake and shudder at the noise.

Malthorn went down to the surface of the lush planet. His general the Elder One named Ly’zzer accompanied him. There he began to create his first sentient race, he gave them two leg’s and two arm’s. They received a natural muscular build. They had deep brown skin and blue eye’s. There bone’s were thicker than that of other race’s of comparable size, and then Malthorn granted them intelligence. Finally he gave them there own magic.

“You are my creations and I am your master” he said in a loud strong voice. The small group of creatures coward in front of him. “I am Malthorn and you are the Karrn.” Malthorn turned to Ly’zzer and spoke to him. “ I need these creatures to succeed in my plan’s, but there current level of technology is not acceptable you will teach them up to a sufficiently advanced level” said Malthorn “do you understand Ly’zzer?” “Yes my lord completely” said Ly’zzer in a odd clicking tone of voice. Malthorn had great plan’s for there’s being’s and soon he would need them.

# Living of Lights Planet, 2010-09-23 22:04:33, as written by the_fluffmeister
After peacefully letting its new world grow for a short time, Living in the light turned its mind again to creating harmony.
*Balance, I need to balance my creations.* it thought before reaching into itself and pulling out four more sections of divine energy which it used to craft four more places for its creations to live and grow. The first it made as an extreme opposite of its original planet, a large ball of dirt with a single cluster of lakes at one point, onto this planet Living in the light transferred a copy of every being it had made to walk the earth of the first planet and spread them across the ground of its new creation, and fewer copies of its aquatic life for the smaller waters of this new planet.
The second planet was made as different from the first two as possible; this planet was covered with boiling lava and volcanic eruptions powered by an eternally burning molten core, there was only a single spot of solid land a mere thirty miles across with a cool lake in its center situated at the planets polar north. The creatures that were made to populate this planet had a completely different physiology from its previous creations, these creatures lived in the flowing lava and magma pools, completely immune to the intense heat, and fed off of the minerals and ores contained in the burning surface and deep beneath it. To give this planet thinking creatures, Living in the light took the basic shape of a mole and elongated the torso, gave it wider paws, replaced the fur with scales to guard against the lava it would call home, gave it a bigger head to house its impressive brain, collapsible wings so it could fly over its fiery home when it wasn’t swimming through the lava, and a digestive system that could break down molten materials and draw nutrients from them. Living in the light then gave its new creation the same language it had given the others, though this one was more adept at describing its home world. Before it left, Living in the light gave its newest creation knowledge of the other children it had and a sense of camaraderie with them.
Moving to the next planet it would make, Living in the light crafted a world of high cliffs and sweeping mountains, the animals of this planet would be almost entirely avian, with only a few burrowing creatures. To protect and guide this planet, Living in the light created an intelligent avian species. This species had the basic body of a hawk multiplied in size several times with fully articulated claws that would let them grip the rocky surface of their world, two very thin arms with delicate five-fingered hands at their ends sprouting just under their wings, and modified vocal cords that would enable them to use the speech Living in the light gifted them with. At the base of the impossibly tall mountains was a small lake bordered by level earth, the only spot on the entire planet that was level.
As Living in the light began crafting its final planet it noticed that its supply of divine energy was nearly depleted. Instead of crafting one complete planet, Living in the light created a large spiral of asteroids that it placed in a perfect circle around its creations. Exhausted, Living in the light formed itself once again into a large sphere of light and set the four planets with the asteroids around them spinning around itself, the four planets equidistant from each-other. Before it withdrew into its mind to allow its flow of energy to replenish, Living in the light siphoned off one last small piece of its energy to give all of its creations knowledge of their brethren on others planets and the knowledge that they would one day be able to meet, a heightened evolutionary speed that would allow them to rapidly grow to meet new challenges, as well as giving its divine minions the ability to transport themselves from planet to planet with ease and finally, Living in the light gave all of its sentient children the ability to raise their voices to it or its divine minions if ever they needed help.
(by my count I should only have about 2 divine points left, according to the amount the gm said we would start with.)

# Malthorns Cold Gas Giant, 2010-09-24 17:55:47, as written by HellHound01
Malthorn left the lush inhabited world behind, and moved toward the cold gas giant on the edge of the system. There he dived deep into the deep’s of the murky planet, where the enormous pressure would have turned a lesser being into liquid mush. Then he created many floating wispy animals that glided in the thick atmosphere. They came in all shapes and forms with many different body type’s and attachment’s. Then he began to start on what he really came here to do. He started to form another sentient race. They looked like liquidized silver or mercury. They floated in large blob’s and moved gracefully through there environment. Then he gave them one mind, the Overmind Malthorn liked to call it. With many physical bodies, but one conciseness that controlled them all.

They were able to control certain molecules around them in certain ways. In that way they were able to manipulate there surrounding’s. He made the Overmind devoid of weak emotions like caring, or love. It could only feel hate, loathing, and callousness. Malthorn finished his work and left the Overmind species to itself, for now.

# Sonitus's Crystal Planet., 2010-09-24 22:44:23, as written by FantaBadger
Sonitus watched her first planet grow from the world crystal, due to their peculiar orbit and complex orbit around the binary suns the shining planet which she named Zelos was visible in its brother's sky twice a year for months at a time. The sounds of life and struggle and pain pleased the demons ears but she could feel something watching her. In truth there was nothing there but the nebula and the void of the oververse, the staring thing only existed in Sonitus' mind but it was a powerful mind. She saw a gaseous giant, the colour of blood and fire with an eyes made of storms staring at her, she murmured lyrics to a ode of its terrifying beauty and in a ripple of fear it existed. The curious thing about this new world was that it was not just a planet, it was alive; a living organism composed of gaseous movement of complexities that made it like a giant cell but with a sentient mind as it encircled the suns elliptically through the nebula, feeding off the light. It was to be her divine servant, naming it Phobos and instructed it to keep watch the other creatures in her solar system, to whisper madness into the minds of some. Around Phobos there was a moon she named Mania, its atmosphere was composed most of oxygen and nitrogen but with a natural hallucinogenic gas that drifted across its muddy plains and vast ocean of water. With a smirk Sonitus created new life there as well, different to Phobos and that of the lush planet she named Erratin, the animals breathed oxygen and expelled carbon dioxide with the plants having the opposite conversion. Much of the life would be in the sea, gilled and hiding from the maddening vapors of the surface but others would crawl upon the mud and dirt, deluded.

Sonitus devised yet another sentient race, they breathed through gill-like vents on their back and had no mouths in their heads with which to express their terror. They were roughly humanoid except their legs were replaced with what seemed like the body of a scorpion complete with poisonous tail and exoskeleton that ended at their wastes and left the red skin bare. They fed upon the vapors of insanity now produced also by many plants, taken in from the atmosphere but would not be immune to its effects. She named them Mezulians and left them upon the surface, retreating to her other living planet and, sitting in a small grove nearby one of the colonies of Dreans, sang softly and laughed hysterically.
((By my count I have about 6 demonic points left if we were just recharged to 12 points or 12 if you added the 12 onto what we already had left... I'm slight confused. :P))

# Malthorns Hot Gas Giant, 2010-09-24 23:02:00, as written by HellHound01
Malthorn finished his work on the cold gas giant and left. Now he needed some place to rule from, a fortress in which he could make his plan’s for conquest and domination. A center of strength from which he could defend himself if necessary from the wraths of other gods and demons. So he went to the hot gas giant next to the sun. He dived down all the way to it’s core. At the center of the planet was a giant diamond the size of a small world.

He carved out thousands of room’s in it, from small guest room’s to huge barracks’s for the Elder One’s. The largest and grandest and most well defended of these room’s was Malthorn’s own throne room. It was so large the top would not of been visible to any mortal race. It was inlaid with gold, silver, platinum, and many more types of metals and jewels. In the back of the room sat a large throne made out of a dark black material, on which Malthorn now sat ready to oversee his many project’s.

# Living of Lights Planet, 2010-09-26 17:29:24, as written by the_fluffmeister
Living in the light roused itself from its meditation, hearing a plea from one of its children 'Light!' they cried, 'please, you have given us visions of our brothers on planets besides our own, yet we cannot speak with them. Please Light, give us some means of contacting out brothers that we might celebrate our unity!'
Living in the light felt joy that its creations desired such a thing and reached into its reservoir of divine energy and connected the planets it had created, at several points on each planet there would be a place that could transmit an image of the being within its borders to the other planets. Feeling that this was not enough, Living in the light further connected the planets, binding them closer together until they were in essence one planet in four parts, any being could travel from one planet to another in a matter of minutes from selected points on each. These points took the form of giant archways covered with a flowing design that showed each of the sentient beings created by Living in the light standing together, any creature could speak its destination and the archway would fill with glowing light that would connect the two planets, and any being that went through this light would find itself on the new planet and surrounded by a bubble of the environment from its home planet.

Pulling back, Living in the light felt content and with a minor effort of its will gave knowledge of these gates to its children and turned again to the previously abandoned circle of rock surrounding the four spinning planets. Struck by sudden inspiration, Living in the light set the asteroids to spinning faster and faster until they were a blur of rock, extending its power, Living in the light then smoothed the rapidly spinning rocks until they were a smooth, flat circle. After doing this, Living in the light spread and split the spinning rocks and formed a delicate sphere of rock and began placing openings in it so that when it was done, the rock had become a latticework of gray stone completely encompassing the other four planets and spinning slowly. along the wide bands of stone that formed the latticework were whorls of darker stone that formed a beautiful pattern that could be seen from the planets within and visitors without. Continuing along its flow of inspiration, Living in the light created a sentient species of pure energy that could flow along the stones.
The species had no set form, rather they had a volume of space that they filled, and they could not directly affect the world around them, but they could charge themselves and use that energy to slowly warp stone or any other materials. The minds gifted to these beings were incredibly capable and highly adaptable, created to be able to nearly immediately adjust to new information and incorporate it into their understanding of the universe around them.

Finally content, Living in the light returned to its post at the center of its balanced planet and began its meditation again, contemplating its next move. *Perhaps I shall contact the others created by Sadron and discuss the future of our universe* it thought to itself, *perhaps*
(either 0 points left or 12 depending on when we get recharged)

Re: [OOC] Origins of The Oververse

IC Post for Fanta

"Learning? Then you are welcome here..." The one known as Lekkan said, expression changing to something that could be presumed as happier. The other Amital approached many of the species before them, some taking notes and others simply touching their faces as thought this would allow this to know the new creatures. Some released infuriated, angry music though at what this fury was aimed they could not tell with no knowledge of their language or ways. Others still were fearful or merely curious, just as some of the diplomats were, but with other emotions, some unidentifiable and with no analog for comparison, "Rachael... Will soon be well, and - with our own gifts." Lekkan told them, struggling to use the words and concepts moving through his mind. He cast a sympathetic look in her direction, sudden pain crossing his face and then fading once more into the closest thing these beings had to serenity. A few of those whom had been observing the visitors broke off to look through the gifts that had been brought to them, sorting through them. They had extreme curiosity concerning the food, it seemed they had never seen anything like it but put it aside as they took the translation technology and handed it to Lekkan who began to deconstruct, tamper and rebuild it with alarming speed.
The one whom had seemed to be a leader listened to musical tones given by his speaker and then began to tear at his chest violently, removing a considerable chunk of it which he and several others then began converting into something else. Lekkan handed the translation device back to Hewf, "This would not have worked. We have no... Words, like you; Music is for when their are no words, else we would not compose." He explained, "Now you will know basic meanings but not the... inbetween. For that you must undergo the procedure as Rachael and I have." The leader handed the former chunk of coral-like flesh to one of the diplomats, it now a frankly bad-ass looking guitar surging with power. Another of the group, what seemed to be a female, gave a smaller instrument, a harmonica, to one of the visitors.

Sonitus stood back and observed her latest masterpiece, thoroughly exhausted but filled with great joy at what lay before her. It was a sun - or, at least, it looked like a sun but in fact it was something quite different from the others which had been created. It was a neutron star; a star composed of neutrons and incredibly dense but there still was something more. It was like it was also made of a part of Sonitus; a piece of her madness and wonder. It was a beacon, a rhythmic pulse of her demonic and chaotic energy being released from two rotating jets of energy. It was a pulsar but one that instead of gamma or electromagnetic radiation sent forth waves of instability, chaos and creativity into the universe. It created new planets, destroyed old ones and changed the very nature of all it touched. Of course, this was not all. There was something orbiting it or, rather, a series of somethings but one of them brought particular interest. It was a planet on a rare orbit, one that was far enough away and correctly orientated so that anything living on it would not be directly harmed by the pulsar. This was indeed fortunate as the planet, dubbed Earth, was filled with countless lifeforms with one of particular interest called 'humanity'. They were basic humanoids, similar to the Karrn but infinitely more adaptable and ingenuitive, spreading across their world and exploring with the great haste their short lifetimes required.

On Trann the portal opened there some time ago by Sonitus was about to come into use. A thick fog billowed from the planet Mania and spread across the surrounding landscape, covering many cities of the planet's inhabitants. It was a peculiar gas, one that gave rise to hallucinations of frightening reality but was not the worst of the horrors to spill from the gateway. Next came many varied parties of Triloks, creatures without mouths but instead strange vent like openings of their backs and their lower-halves seeming to belong more to scorpions than men. They were not of the same faction, sent to Trann from various political parties or militias at different times but all with advanced weaponry and technology. They were not immune to the effects of the gas, attacking things that weren't really there or seeing imaginary enemies but soon found themselves amongst real creatures. They entered the cities; some secretive, others openly without disguise and at first did nothing but observe. Their eyes spoke paranoia and fear.

Re: [OOC] Origins of The Oververse

Fanta asked me to inform you guys that she is unable to post as of now due to some problems with her computer or a site glitch which is preventing the confirmation code showing.

Re: [OOC] Origins of The Oververse

I'll have a post up by friday.

Re: [OOC] Origins of The Oververse

Heya guys... First off, I'm sorry for not posting much recently but it is exam time. I'll be able to post far more frequently after Monday(My last exam). Huzzah! Now then, though I do hate shameless promotion I'm afraid I'm going to have to inflict some upon you guys: I've come across and joined a new rp called Ascension which, in short, involves a slave rebellion, genetically engineered superhumans and general badass-ery. It's in need of a few more players before it can start and I was wondering if you guys were interested in at least giving it a good look? Please at least check out the introduction which can be found here: http://www.roleplaygateway.com/roleplay/ascension/

Thanks a bundle guys, I'll try to post soon I'm just a little caught up right now.

Re: [OOC] Origins of The Oververse

hey y'all, just to do a repeat of the rules for the sphere you can make however many species you want, I made twelve, there's plenty of space inside the sphere, the surface area of the inner part of the sphere would be 430,409,564,850,570,560 square miles if it was perfectly smooth, it's not so there's quite a bit more than that, also the sphere is as thick as the earth is so you can also have a whole bunch of subterranian species, so anyhoo no limits on number or ammount of creativity in your species, oh and the atmosphere would extend about halfway from the surface to the sun in the middle, oh and if you really want to you could put a species on the half-sphere of rock that covers part of the sun. so yeah cut loose and create as many as you want, bring others from other places, essentially have fun with this ^_^ thank you for reading and have a nice day

Re: [OOC] Planets and Races.

Here we are, I've actually forgotten the name of the guys on Mania so I'll have to make up a new one... Heh. It's going to be fairly lengthy because I'm a little scatter brained and don't want to forget important details, so I'm sorry in advance.
Sonitus
Binary Solar System (Nameless):
First planet- Zelos
Description: A world composed entirely of crystals imbued with an energy that entices all whom set their eyes on it, some have been altered by the other gods to emit their own energies. Formerly lifeless and without an atmosphere, now an oxygen bubble has been formed around it. Can be seen clearly on Erratin for most of the year with a good deal of detail due to a strange, erratic orbit around the two suns.
Lifeforms: Formerly none, now host to invading Karrn and Elder Ones.
Notes: Host to a portal between Malthorns system and Erratin.
Second Planet- Erratin
Description: A lush and chaotic world host to many lifeforms, it is largely covered in bizarre jungles and sheer cliff faces. There is little water, instead other, equally useful liquids are scattered across the surface and all life forms there use this in the place of water, their bodies using it instead. Large areas of the original jungle have been cleared for Karrn settlements through some of the land is being taken back by the local inhabitants.
Lifeforms:
Drean: Humanoid.
General Physical Description-The Drean all have dark grey, stone hard skin with fluorescent markings mostly on their backs as well as the limbs and face unique to each individual. Their feet, and therefore legs, are canine or wolf-like but well suited to moving upright and their fingers and long, clawed with a very lean body type. Their eyes are completely black, hair on their heads only and their teeth are large, sharp as knives.

Subspecies 1: The Sol'dra
Darker skinned than their nocturnal brethren to better protect them from the suns' Ultra-Violet rays the Sol'dra are not harmed by the harmonizing effects of their new energy. It is said that drinking a portion of their blood grants a clear mind for sort periods of time and can cure some forms of mental disease.
Social Habits- Very stoic and calm compared to their ancestors, slow to act due to a strict governing system and habitual weighing of options to find the most balanced. Over logical and more practically minded they tend to attempt to tame the environment rather than have themselves adapt. Their society is host to many, rigid social conventions
Subspecies 2: The Noct'dra
This subspecies is paler skinned than the Sol'dra due to under exposure to sunlight but have far more vivid and bright bio-fluorescent markings. The harmonizing energy of the suns makes them initially weak, as though succumbing to a disease and eventually die if they continue to be exposed but can withstand it in small doses. The sun causes them to decompose rapidly, releasing a peculiar mist that causes madness and grants some power to those whom inhale it.
Social Habits- Noct'dra are intensely chaotic, passionate freethinkers with a focus on the abstract, rarely having much concern for things of a solely practical purpose. They have what may be the most sophisticated, creative art and music in the Oververse and are highly ingenuitive. They act quickly and are strongly influenced by their wild emotions, known to take extreme actions for the sake of an ideal and have little social conventions that are adhered to. Their governing system at first glance appears to be non-existent but on closer inspection it is found to be a very complex, poorly understood system with no leaders.

Notes- Home to Sonitus' former prison, many Karrn and Elder One settlements.

Third Planet/Divine Servant: Phobos
Description: A blood red gas giant swirling with storms, it appears to have eyes that always seem to be watching you and is surrounded by an aura of fear. This planet is in fact alive, a powerful servant of Sonitus which both protects and harasses the inhabitant of the solar system. It is immortal but it can only effects it surroundings with subtle manipulations of reality and the will of others.
Phobos' Moon: Mania
Description: A strange moon full of life, mostly water with an atmosphere containing a highly hallucinogenic chemical produced by the land based plants and consumed by several species. The water is filled with the most life, protected from the air above but with still plenty of the surface, not all resistant to the gas. Guarded closely by Phobos and highly subject to his effects.

Lifeforms:
Trilok: Semi-humanoid.
General Physical Description-
Social Habits-

Notes:

--->I'll finish this later, I'm a little busy at the moment.

Re: [OOC] Origins of The Oververse

Just bring him in, it's possible that our GM has been banned or something along those lines. That's happened before in a couple of Rps I've been in, it didn't stop one of them actually... It went on for over a hundred pages. Heh, it helped in that most of the players (including myself) were spammers with too much spare time. :P

Re: [OOC] Origins of The Oververse

All right I sent the GM a PM a week ago about bringing my second character into the RP, yet he has not responded so should I just bring him into the RP or what?

Re: [OOC] Origins of The Oververse

Ok, the fucking internet is preventing me from posting in the IC. So, therefore, I will post it here in until such a time that I do not have to deal with retarded computers such as mine:
Sonitus rattled against the cage of divine energy that enchained her, lashing out and scream with none able to observe and no other sound within aside from the message that repeated itself in an endless loop. Living in the Light's words made the demon fume with anger, she wanted revenge for this prison but more to stop the irritating voice that after an unknowable amount of time fragmented her already broken mind further. She focused some of her remaining demonic energy and used it to attack the sound, to stop the incessant drone from reaching her ears but save it for a time that she might be able to seek her revenge. A massive earthquake shook the entire planet, the Drean protected themselves well and their homes were not fully destroyed as they were better suited to enduring the chaotic weather patterns of Erratin but the Karrn were unlikely to be so fortunate. With it came the sound to hysterical laughter, the demon had succeeded in removing the annoyance but there was something wrong within the trap, or rather, something missing. It was sound. Now there was only silence that surrounded this deity of music and sound, truly alone in Light's prison. The demon was afraid.

Meanwhile, the Dreans knew they were fighting a losing battle against the invaders. Their numbers were limitless, always pouring through the portal to their world and on their beloved and once keenly desired Zelos there was a dark stain of their presence. Even more concerning was the change in the twin suns, their light was different and had an ill effect on almost all creatures of the planet. Plants withered, animals dropped dead of a strange sickness and the entire planet seemed assaulted by the harmonious energy that poured from it. New organisms appeared, threatening the existing creatures by competition for already dwindling food sources. The Drean were no different from the other animals, every so often the Karrn would find one dead on the ground with no marks other than what appeared to be unnatural, spreading burn marks that sometimes shined with brilliance. Many of the creatures began to adapt to the change, as was their nature, and the Drean took more to the night, sleeping and hiding during the day. Their cities had not been found yet due to their unusual design and appearance but if they did not somehow deal with Malthorn's forces soon it would only be a matter of time before the Balms attacked. They would never submit to any oppressing force, their minds were made to be free and creative, so a poetic 'solution' was devised to show that they were not afraid to fight for freedom and to give some hope of survival for their species.

One night their army appeared shockingly close to the portal, millions of Drean with teeth and weapons bared descended upon the unprepared Karrn and their 'divine' masters with shocking ferocity. Their fighting prowess was unmatched, slaughtering countless of the invaders as they reached the portal and began to attack it as well. ((It's your choice whether or not they succeed.)) Soon, though, the enemy numbers proved too great as they knew they would, many Drean now falling in battle. After what could have been days they would finally all appear to be dead but that impact of their last stand was immense, there would be untold destruction to their fortresses and encampments with many dead or dying. So great was the number of Drean now lying lifeless in the mud, or the few captured, that it would be assumed that they were now extinct or very close to it. They would become legendary creatures of myth to the invaders; demon-like creatures of song and mischief protecting the remaining wilds of Erratin. Sonitus, too, would be referred to in myths and legends as the demonic master of all that is chaotic and creative in the soul. A demon bound in unbreakable chains by a god for her crimes.

Re: [OOC] Origins of The Oververse

Since the gm seems to have ditched us I say we might as well...

Re: [OOC] Origins of The Oververse

So can we recharge now or what?

Re: [OOC] Origins of The Oververse

Uh, fluffy? I think you missed one of my posts... You may want to edit yours.

Also, there seems to be a bit of confusion with everyone as to how many planet's my system has and which is which; The first planet has life on it and second is the crystal planet and the third is the gas giant which has a moon with life on it.

Re: [OOC] Origins of The Oververse

How much time passes between post? More specifically how fast do are race's advance Technology wise? Shouldn’t it take thousands of years for them to advance or should we just move them along at any pace we want?

Re: [OOC] Origins of The Oververse

Hooray! Oh, just a question: When it comes to how our planets and races are progressing are you going to determine this and give us updates or what's the deal?

Re: [OOC] Origins of The Oververse

Hey fluffmeister I don't think you have that small ammount of points left it only takes 1 point to craft a planet, 2 points to make sentients, 3 points to make a divine servant, 0 points to make plants, mountains, mindless animals etc. anyway...if you wouldn't mind doing that for me (I'll figure it out to)

I nearly forgot! All your Divine Energy and Denomic Energy is recharged.

Re: [OOC] Origins of The Oververse

Yo guys please forget about my other "Ornathon" god, instead I will RP mainly as Sandron instead of using him as a side character as I originally intended.

Re: [OOC] Origins of The Oververse

Not at all. I will edit my one post and thank you for clearing that up.
