OOC Notes

Mori had raised an eyebrow when Tamaki announced that today's theme would be knights of the round table. He wasn't too keen on the idea but when he saw Hunny putting it on, he went along. He always went along with whatever Hunny did. That was just how things worked. There were a few girls "ooh"ing and "aah"ing over all the cute things Hunny said and did. Even fewer girls sat next to himself; content with the fact he said very little. Why there were there; he didn't know but he put up with it. He began sipping his tea and watched over Hunny like a hawk; his normal routine.
OOC Notes
Hunny grinned up at the crowd of flustered girls surrounding him and fluttered his eyelashes in an adorable manner. Squeals, squeaks, and over-excited screams sounded as the gathered even closer to him. It took some time getting used to all the attention, but now the charisma and charm just came naturally. The everlasting smile just seemed to be plastered to his face by now."Hunny'll protect you from anything!" he vowed to the girls in serious tones that emphasized his cuteness. He swung the fake blade out in front of him and made "swooshing" noises to accompany his actions, as if to vanquish an invisible enemy; He gripped his plush bunny, Usa, to his chest tightly, for fear of dropping his companion and thus, hundreds of girls trampling over his friend's tiny body. As the girls fawned and cooed over him, Hunny took seized the opportunity to glance behind him. His permanently etched grin grew even wider as he noticed a girl entering the Music Room and was currently walking towards Mori. Hunny then directed his attention the tall, dark-haired man drinking tea and gave him a quick, encouraging smile. He mouthed the words silently, "Have fun, Mori!" and waved, looking like a total spaz.
OOC Notes
A motion caught his eye and he turned his head to see Hunny waving his arms drastically. He automatically tensed up, thinking something was wrong but he saw Hunny was mouthing, "Have fun, Mori." which didn't make much sense to him. He heard a ruffling noise next to him and he turned to see a brunette girl sitting on a chair next to him. Mori nodded in greetings to the girl and flashed an uneasy smile. He felt confused now. What on earth did Hunny mean by having fun?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As Bobo was sitting, she noticed Hunny waving his arms around and the girls next to him squealing in delight. "Ooh look how adorable!" "Hunny-sempai is just the best!" "I wish I could take him home with me!" some of them shouted and Bobo giggled. The girls really did love Hunny. But she was much more interested in the silent man sitting in front of her. He was tall and although he said little, he commanded presence. At least in her mind, he did. His gray eyes were focused on Hunny but their was a slightly uneasy settling of his mouth, as if he was confused about something.
Bobo couldn't help herself; she was simply drawn to him. She wanted to know so much more about him, what was behind those gray eyes of his. And he was simply dashing in his suit of armor complete with lance. She opened her mouth to say something; she hadn't had the courage when she popped in yesterday. But then Mori's eyes flashed to hers and she was transfixed unable to speak. She tried to flash a smile but wasn't sure if she was successul or not so she resorted to pouring herself a cup of tea to distract herself. "Way to go, Bobo. There was your chance." she scolded herself.
No. That won't do. Honey hesitated and set the cake on the table reluctantly, glaring at the piece of cake in an attempt to resolve the matter. Perhaps the "cake strategy" wasn't the best idea ever. He still remembered when he had tried to patch up an arguement between Kaoru and Hikaru with a slice of strawberry cake. Instead of calming the situation, he had made it even worse.
A gentle tapping on Hunny's shoulder interrupted his silent panicking and woke him from his reverie. He shook his head spaztastically; his platinum blond hair mussed up in the process. In full host club mode now, he turned to his audience and raised Usa the bunny to cover the lower half of his face, only exposing his wide eyes and nose. He blinked innocently at the girl who had nudged him. "I-I'm sorry.. Hunny was distracted!" he said, over-exaggerating the guilty tones. Hunny casted his gaze downwards in order to appear shameful and glanced at the girl shyly.
The girl didn't seem to mind at all. Blabbing on and on about things Hunny wasn't really listening to, he twisted in his seat and stared at Mori tactfully. "DO SOMETHING, MORI!" he "yelled" (( mouthed )), cupping his hands to the sides of his mouth and glaring at the dark haired man fiercely. It wasn't much of a glare, though.
OOC Notes
Mori puzzled over what exactly he was supposed to do. He tried thinking of any romance movies he'd seen but realized he hadn't seen many in his lifetime. He wasn't a complimenter like Tamaki or a trickster like Hikaru and Kaoru. (And he certainly wasn't about to pretend to be in love with Hunny for any girl.) Even Kyoya exuded a certain air of indifference that made the ladies go wild. What did he have but uncertainties and awkwardness? He noticed the girl was running low on tea so he held out his hand and said the first word he'd said all day. "Tea?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bobo was punishing herself in her mind. "Say something!" she practically screamed in her mind. But what would she say? All that came to mind were typical conversation matters such as the weather and sports teams. Mori certainly didn't seem the type to discuss trivial things like that, he didn't seem like a conversationalist at all. Which brought her back to her original problem. What do you say to a man who doesn't speak?
Bobo hadn't dared glance at Mori but eventually she caved. He looked more thoughtful than usual. Well from what she knew anyway; she barely knew him. She noticed her glass was empty and she began to reach for another but the most unexpected thing happened then. If you'd have asked Bobo what were the top 5 impossible things that'll never happen, this certainly would've been at the top of that list right under being abducted by UFOs. Takashi Morinozuka just offered to refill her tea. And she thought her heart might just stop then and there. "Of course, Mori-sempai." she managed to say as calmly as possible smiling the biggest smile possible. Amazingly enough, he smiled back as he poured her more tea. It was a start.
OOC Notes
It had been a long time ago when she had finally payed off that expensive vase she accidentally broke. But she kept coming back. She didn't understand why...
She loved the Host Club. That had to be it.
Tamaki-senpai.
"Akh!" Haruhi whined, catching herself. "Why am I thinking about him?! Concentrate, concentrate..."
And finally, bending over and gasping, she reached the door to Music Room 3. She took a deep breath, opened the door, and came in as politely as she could. "Good morning, everyone," she said and ran over to the changing room.
Today's theme was: WHAAAAAAAT? KNIGHT ARMOR?!
Haruhi put on her "Oh dear god, this can't be happening" face while she stared at her costume. It wasn't as if it was ugly, she kinda liked it actually. But, it's just...a big, heavy, hot, expensive, 100%-guaranteed-to-make-you-sweat-to-death armor?!
She sighed and forced herself to put it on. Of course, after she did, moving was more difficult than finding a needle in a haystack. She picked up her sword and held it up in the air, pretending to say bravely, "Your knight is here! Yeah right..."
Haruhi, trying best not to groan under the armor's weight, clanged out of the changing room and into the commotion of all the girls squealing and spazzing over the hosts. She went to find her seat but bumped into Tamaki instead. "Ah, Senpai!" she exclaimed, her heart giving that weird leap it always did when he was around. "These armors don't happen to come with a horse, do they?" she joked.
OOC Notes
"Come to the music room they say. It'll be fun they say. You'll meet pretty girls they say... Well they said the wrong thing. One, why would I want a girl friend. Even my boy side wouldn't. Two, I dislike areas with tons of people. This would definitely be considered tons. Three, the twins are here...." She sighed to herself. No one paid her much mind because she wasn't speaking to anyone or looking at anything for to long. Instead she was just waiting for it to be over.
She glanced at the boys in armor. The hosts that she had so commonly heard girls giggling about as they walked by.
"At least its not me," she spoke still to herself. The voices of the boys from the orphanage began to ring in her mind. She couldn't help but growl at the high pitch yelling that she would always throw back. She looked around darkly. This is no place for me. Just because a bunch of guys think it is. That doesn't mean I agree.
She let out yet another sigh and closed her eyes to think. It's dark and rainy. Dad's still looking for me. Strange. It's not dark and rainy in the real world, but its always dark and rainy when I think. I have a gun, but no friends to protect me. This could be quite interesting. I have a crush, but he most likely thinks I am a boy. As everyone does. She opened her eyes and looked around before closing them. The voices of the boys continued to chime in her head. She twitched, allowing the thoughts to grab a hold of her.
"Just shut up!" She yelled at the top of her lungs.
Oops... Did I just yell that....
OOC Notes
"So it's a promise? Alrighty then! Ja ne~!" Hunny giggled excitedly, waving his arms above his head as she hesitantly backed out of the room. She kept looking back and frowning in confusion at Hunny's sudden mood change. It went from emotional little boy to cheerful little boy in a matter of seconds. This tended to happen often.
Hunny kept waving and grinning at the girl leaving until the doors closed behind her. Still smiling, he knew this was to be the best part of his entire day. The short boy sprinted past Mori and skidded to a stop in front of Haruhi and Tamaki. "Haru-chan! I'll let you play with Usa-chan for a while, kaaay?" he asked her, blinking his eyes. Without an answer, he placed the stuffed bunny into her arms and dove for the strawberry shortcake like a wild animal. Without stopping, he stuffed the entire slice of cake into his mouth and still managed to smile with his mouth over-full.

He waited patiently for his ‘daughter’ to change and gave a large smile as she appeared. She was totally oblivious and bumped into him on her way out. He grabbed a hold of her arms and steadied her, oblivious to her fast beating heart. She spoke to him and his eyes immediately widened. “I knew something was missing!” He cried out loudly. “Oh, Haruhi! What shall we do?” He had fallen into a full-blown panic attack. His arms were flailing around and his voice was whiney.
Kyoya approached and Tamaki turned to pout at him. “Kyoyaaaaaaaa.” He dragged out the last letter as to sound needy. “We need horses to seem realistic. What will the girls say when they discover how terrible we have done?” Truthfully, the girls could care less. They came for one thing only: To fawn over their ‘perfect man.’
-----------------------------------------------
Jacey walked along the hallways of Ouran Academy, humming a happy tune to herself. A piece of her short blackish-blue hair fell in front of her eyes and she brushed it away. She enjoyed the afternoons where she could sit and draw the Hosts in their natural environment – where they seemed most relaxed. She quickly approached music room #3 where the Host Club currently was held. She pushed on the heavy doors and began to choke as one of the stray rose petals entered her mouth. She spit it out and glared at the wet petal. “Stupid petal…” She murmured to herself.
Casting a quick glance around the room, she made her way to a chair in a secluded corner of the room. She plopped down ungracefully into said chair and picked up her sketchbook and pencil. After several moments of staring at the host Club members, she finally settled her gaze of Kyoya. She pretended not to notice that a blush had made its way onto her cheeks and began to sketch him. She hopped Kyoya wouldn’t notice because she had heard he wasn’t very open to people writing or drawing about the Host Club (She had overheard the Newspaper Club’s leader talking.).
She drew his strong cheekbone and the straight angle of his nose. She lightly shaded in areas needed and erased when she messed up. She bit her lip as she stared at it and sketched out his eyes and glasses. Kyoya’s eyes were always the hardest part for her. She didn’t like how they always seemed unattached and cool – she could almost see the potential for bright eyes full of laughter or kind eyes while helping someone. Of course, that was the inner fan girl in her screaming out. She shoved down the little fan girl and went back to work.
OOC Notes
Haruhi reached out and grabbed her costume, realizing instantly just how light it was.
"Um...we don't really NEED the horses," she said to Tamaki, who was having one of his spazz attacks.
She left to change, and girls squealed as she passed.
***
Now wearing the much easier to move in costume, Haruhi came back outside. She had Usa-chan in one hand, which completely messed up the image of a brave knight but she couldn't care less.
She found Tamaki still whining next to Kyoya.
She sighed and poked Tamaki on the shoulder. "Sempai...we don't really need the horses..."
Good grief... she thought. Tamaki-sempai is really....dumb.
"And you should be heading back to your 'customers'." Haruhi pointed to a table where rabid fangirls were sipping tea anxiously, waiting for their heroic blonde knight to return.

"Gah!" he called out, swatting at the flower petals. Shaking his head he brushed the last remaining petals that clung to his uniform off and grumbled to himself. "This is getting really old..." he growled under his breath, sending several petals scattering as he shook his shoulders.
"Uh...sorry I'm late." his call echoed through the room as he stepped inside. Immediately he spotted Tamaki, proudly flaunting a suit of armor, and on closer inspection he came to the realization that all of the hosts were wearing armor.
"Goddammit, tell me I don't have to wear that crap." he choked out, stepping backward in dread at wearing the heavy armor.

"Um hey...I'm Yusuke Harada. You can call me Yusuke, Mr. Harada, hey you, I'm good with just about anything." he introduced himself. "So what's your name? I've never seen you here before. Are you new to this school?"

For the twins though, that wouldn't be the case. Their tardiness wouldn't be brushed aside and they sure as hell weren't princesses. Hikaru sincerely hoped that the boss was too caught up in the whole Knight thing to even notice. It was a possibility...
"Am I going to have to carry you the rest of the way or are you going to hurry up?" the elder twin grumbled, his hand wrapped tightly around his younger brother's wrist as he did his best to jog in the heavy suit of armor that both of them adorned. He could see that Kaoru was tiring faster than him and because of that he was now practically dragging him along as he ran. Before his brother could manage even a mumble Hikaru cut him off, figuring he knew what he was going to say. Something along the lines of, 'but the boss won't even notice.'
"It's not the boss that I'm worried about. You know how sharp Kyoya is..." Hikaru skidded to a stop outside of the two large doors and glanced over at Kaoru before giving him a reassuring grin. He opened the door and immediately slipped into character, resting a hand on his hip and smirking before he began to strut towards their usual spot. The twins were met with a chorus of squeals and sighs as they made themselves comfortable on the red armchair. Hikaru spotted a girl lying motionless on the floor near them. They still had it.
---
I wonder whether it's too late for me to leave, Rei thought with a sigh. Today hadn't been the greatest. She'd flunked an exam, failed at avoiding a certain girl who always loved to insult her and now the Hitachiin twins weren't even here. The rest of the Host Club seemed to be enjoying themselves for the most part. Dressing up as knights would surely stroke their egos and it definitely pleased the ladies.
A few other girls were seated beside her, still whispering words of encouragement to each other. If there was one thing Rei could say about the girls that came to the Host Club, it's that they were persistent. They'd been waiting on the twins for over a half an hour now and yet the girls were refusing to believe that they wouldn't show today.
Speak of the devils.
Rei had just started to rise from her seat but out of the corner of her eye she could see that the twins had just burst through the door and were heading in their direction looking absolutely... well, there wasn't a word for it. But Rei's chest did feel tight and she realised she had caught her breath. Her heart was also pounding away. This was why she came here. Nothing else gave her that feeling.
Her eyes fell on the twin that she believed was Kaoru and she tried to smile but was afraid that it came out as more of a grimace. Rei opened her mouth to say something but was swiftly cut off by the other girls who were gushing random compliments and incoherent nonsense. She lowered her gaze and exhaled through her nose. Maybe one day she'd actually be able to talk to them.

“Miss Higa, please refrain from making so much noise.” an exasperated teacher, the unlucky one that had been chosen as the detention proctor that day, said.
Kain sighed again, putting her head down. Could this be any more annoying? She was glad that it was almost over, as if that was any comfort. She shifted her gaze back towards the clock, watching as the seconds ticked by…painfully slow. Suddenly, the door to the classroom opened, and another teacher walked in, a young looking man.
“Mrs. Ibaraki, you’re needed in the cafeteria for a moment.” the teacher said, looking at the detention proctor “I can watch these hooligans while you’re gone.”
The detention proctor looked more than relieved. She turned towards the students, giving each of them a glare, before walking out of the room. As soon as the woman was out of sight, one of the boys in the front row chuckled a bit, standing up.
“Nice one, Daichi. She really fell for it.” he said, giving the “teacher” a grin.
“Why thank you.” he replied “I do try.”
The “teacher” pulled off the wig he was wearing, sitting himself on the front desk. Daichi Oita. Another one of Ouran’s lovely hellions. He smoothed the dark hair out of his face, winking at a few of the girls in the room. Most of them swooned. Kain rolled her eyes, getting up and sitting on the desk she was previously sitting at. Another girl, a third year, approached her, sitting on one of the adjacent desks.
“Hey, Kimiko-chan.” the girl said.
“Kain.” Kain corrected, narrowing her eyes at the other girl.
“Kain-chan, whatever.” the girl replied, earning a glare “Anyway, I just wanted to know if you were planning on going to the Host Club later.”
“Why would I do that?”
“Haven’t you ever been there? It’s a bunch of hot guys that flirt with you!”
“…and I should care…why?” Kain asked, twirling a piece of her red hair around her finger, no longer really paying attention.
“Wow.” the other girl rolled her eyes “You’re such a weirdo.”
With that the other girl walked away. Kain barely noticed. She’d never been to the Host Club, and though she’d never admit it, she actually wanted to go. Maybe once. Just to see what it was like. Perhaps that’s what she’d do when detention let out. She glanced back at the clock, trying to figure out how much longer that was. As if on cue, the timer at the front of the room went off, signaling that they could all leave. Kain gathered her things, rushing out the door before anyone could bother her. She walked down the hall, heading towards the Third Music Room. Reaching up, she adjusted the pin in her hair, a bored look on her face. She finally reached it, pushing the large door open. A flurry of rose petals flew out, much to her confusion.
“What the hell kind of freak show have I just walked into?” she muttered, scanning the room.
OOC Notes
He girlishly skipped across the room, surprisingly with grace, and skidded to a halt next to Yusuke. "YUSU-CHAN!" he yelled loudly, happy to see the other host, awkwardly talking to a girl. Hunny hugged him in a friendly manner as he had always done with Mori, completely forgetting the sticky pastry in his hand. As a result, the strawberry cake smooshed messily into the other man's face, leaving quite a enormous amount of pink frosting dripping onto his shoulder. Hunny frowned at the mess he had just caused. "I'm sorry, Yusu-chan! I'll get you cleaned up!" he said excitedly. His complexion brightened a great deal as he ran away to get paper towels.
Hunny stole a couple of napkins from the golden box of toiletries and ran past the other hosts who were busy pleasing their customers. Distracted yet again, he glanced sideways and noticed a stranger girl who was bearing a sour expression across her features. Completely forgetting his purpose, he dropped the napkins to the floor and left a neglected Yusuke to clean up the mess himself. Swiftly walking towards the girl, he held Usa tighter and stared up at her in the most adorable gaze he could summon. "Miss! It's not good for a girl as cute as you to be frowning!" Hunny said, enlarging his already too-big eyes.
OOC Notes
“Miss! It's not good for a girl as cute as you to be frowning!" said a high pitched voice, jarring her out of her thoughts.
Kain glanced around, trying to find the source of the voice. Finally, her gaze shifted downwards, her grey eyes meeting overly large brown ones. It was a boy, who looked like he should be in elementary school, with light blonde hair. He was holding a stuffed pink bunny and looking up at her with a strangely cute look on his face. ‘What in the world?’ she thought, raising an eyebrow ‘How old is this kid?’
“Ummm…hi.” she said, still a bit confused “This is the Host Club, right? May I ask your name?”
She tilted her head to the side, the crimson-colored hair falling in her face.
OOC Notes
"Oh god..." he murmured as Hunny appeared beside him, holding a peice of cake. The next thing he knew the small boy had wrapped him in a tight hug, the cake he had been holding being pushed into his face. He yelled out in anger and surprise, shaking his head, peices of frosting spattering the ground and across Absinth. He grumbled angrily under his breath as the boy-lolita skipped away to retrieve some napkins, only to get distracted and drop the napkins to talk to a girl who had just arrived in the room.
"Damn kid..." he muttered, pushing himself to his feet and bending over to pluck the napkins from the ground. He burried his face into them, wiping away all of the cake and flipping his hair out of his eyes. Turning back he noticed the splatters of frosting on Absinth. "Oh man, I'm sorry." he said, reaching over to dab at the stains.
OOC Notes
"Oh? What's wrong? Are you ill?" Hunny asked in a voice that was dripping with sugar. He scrambled on top of a chair next to him and felt the girl's forehead for any signs of unusual hotness. Smiling wide, he gave her a thumbs up in reassurance of her perfect health. Instead of getting off the chair, he kneeled on the platform so he was directly face to face with the girl. "Neh! Isn't it better to talk this way?" Hunny asked her politely, stooping his elbows on the back of the chair with his palms resting against his chin. Without waiting for an answer, the boy shoved Usa-chan straight into her face, with the capabilities of possibly snuffling her out. "I'm Hunny-chan! And this is Usa-chan!" he said, relentlessly smooshing the bunny against her face, totally unaware that she must be terribly uncomfortable. "Neh! Are you a senior? No, no! You can't be since I never see you in my classes!" "Neh! Is this Stranger-chan's first time here?" The questions never seemed to stop and he gave her absolutely no time to answer them. "It must be your first time here! Welcome to the Ouran High School Host Club!" Hunny pounced onto the girl and hugged her tight, knocking the chair down in the process.

Kaoru Hitachiin was nearly flapping in the wind behind his brother as he was dragged along to Music Room #3. This was not the first time they were late, and it would certainly not going to be their last. His legs were tired, and he desperately just wanted to fall to the floor gasping for breath. But he knew he couldn't. The Boss would be upset, and scold them in his loud voice.
Tamaki wasn't exactly the one that he was worried about. It was Kyouya, the Shadow King: the one who really ran the show. "Am I going to have to carry you the rest of the way or are you going to hurry up?" Kaoru stepped out of his mind long enough to hear this. His wrist was beginning to ache at how tightly Hikaru was holding it, and beads of sweat were gathering at his forehead. The suit he was wearing was tight, and made quite the bunch of noise as he ran after his brother. Just as he was about to open his mouth about how the Boss shouldn't mind too much, Hikaru spoke again. "It's not the boss that I'm worried about. You know how sharp Kyoya is..." Hikaru skidded to a stop outside of the two large doors and glanced over at Kaoru before giving him a reassuring grin.
Kaoru smiled weakly back at his brother, wiping his forehead and gluing himself to his twins side. "Hikaru, did we really have to run so fast.." He whispered as Hikaru opened the door. The two of them, Hikaru's arm draped around Kaoru's waist, walked slowly towards their long red chair, making themselves comfortable. Kaoru snuggled against his twins chest and breathed in his scent, closing his eyes. When he opened them up, he noticed what Hikaru was looking at, grinning at: there was a girl that had fainted at their feet. Ah, how it felt to be admired was hard to describe.
"We hope you don't mind that we were late." They said in unison, Kaoru's eyes scanning their crowd. His eyes landed on a girl that frequently came and saw them: Rei. He smiled softly at her.
OOC Notes
"YUSU-CHAAAAAAAAAAAN!!~ DON'T DO THAT IN PUBLIC, KAAAY?! KEEP IT IN YOUR BEDROOM, KAAAY?!!!?!!?!"
Yusuke's jaw unhenged and fell open, his eyes wide in shock as the napkin slipped out of his fingers and hit the ground at his feet. A deep red blush filled in his cheeks as he blinked several times, his chest tight and his breath stopped. As the heads of just about everyone in the room turned toward him, he shot to his feet, his arms a blur as he waved them in front of his, chest heaving and face red.
"NO! NO! I-IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE! I WAS--I WAS JUST--" he gasped, to distraught to get a single word out properly.
