An exchange student from Hong Kong, who isn't too keen on being here.
Blue/black hair thats reaches her chin. Pale skin and blue eyes behind glasses. She wears the usual Ouran girls uniform. She does, however, wear a hairclip that looks like the head of a black cat. When she's working on something, Hanako ties her hair into a low ponytail with a light pink ribbon. 5'4, and weighs 137 lbs. She IS a girl, and is 15, 16 in a month.
Hana is pretty bubbly, but doesn't talk to new people often. She's also a bit of a cluts, falling down stairs and walking into walls. Hana likes to read and write, and laugh. But she doesn't like the whole "Commaner" Thing going on, so she doesn't tend to talk to people at her new school. Hanako is friendly, but isn't afraid to break someones nose, although that hasn't happened all too often. Hana doesn't like being left alone in the dark, and she doesn't like when people are talking about her behind her back, or right in front of her. She hates attention, and being in the spot light. Hana seems to have a bit of a crush on Mori. She loves to eat and cook, and plan parties, and go out with her group and just hang out.
An orange arm bag that holds her notebooks, gum, and other "Essentials"
Hanako comes from a rich family, but they aren't nearly as rich as everyone at Ouran. Actually, she could proabaly be considered poor there. She's the second eldest of three kids, the other two are boys, the oldest named Haru and her little brother named Lee. Her parents, Mai and Shun Hotaru, aren't into the whole money thing either. They wear simple cloths, and only have two cars. Their house is only a two story, and they don't have maids or such. Hanako and her brothers have never been spoiled, and they don't hang around people who have, which is why Hanako was devistated when her school picked her for the exchange program. She has a large orange cat named Eri.
