Personality: A free spirit at heart, Leah disdains such restrictions as things like taxes, laws and etiquette. As a result, one might think her unpopular with the law, but in actual fact she is simply good enough at what she does to escape their notice, and charming enough to sweet-talk her way out of any unfortunate situations she may end up in. Leah thinks quite highly of herself -- deservedly so; she has managed to salvage a powerful reputation out of very little -- and though she possesses an arrogance to her it extends only as far as the fields in which she has expertise.

History: With her mother a stock market investor and her father the runner of a gambling den, Leah grew up with a fascination in the making of money and its conservation. It was Leah's father that introduced her to the games of chance and tactics that took place in the backs of bars and inns, for sums of money ranging from a few coppers to a fortune at a time, and he would often play with her in the evenings to while away the hours. Despite his profession, Leah's father always asserted that she should never become involved in professional gambling, and instead go down a more reputable, reliable path. When both of her parents were, relatively early on, taken away by the Xephon disease and transferred to Des, Leah was at first somewhat devastated. However, this did not last long, her being practical woman, and rather than mope she decided to take up exactly what her father had advised her against.

After all, the grass is always greener when you've been told you can't eat it.

Leah became a full-time gambler, amounting huge stockpiles of money and swiftly becoming a prominent figure in Pandora's gambling world despite her general dislike for the more sinister side of it. She kept her father's fears in mind, and within a week of her first victory hired four bodyguards to keep her safe at all times -- which soon proved wise, as a killer was sent after her within her first few months as she dominated the gambling world. She was accused of cheating, lying, but nothing could be proved; she even intentionally lost a few large sums to keep the doubters at bay.

With a luxurious lifestyle and a lucrative, effortless career, Leah (having by this point gained the alias of 'Pyrrhus' due to the colour of her hair, using her true name only with those close to her) is very satisfied with her life, and doesn't intend to change her ways any time soon.
