Introduction

1941, Whilst the rest of the world is at war, America stays on the sidelines but for how much longer? Every day more and more men are enlisting, planes, bullets, bombs are being made, America's preparing but when will they join their allies to crush their enemies? Weeks, months, years? Little do they know plans for a surprise attack have been going on for months by an enemy they deem inferior and for a place they believe is impossible to attack.
Beginning with their arrival at Pearl Harbor this story follows a group of 'fly boys' and nurses as they prepare for war on the beautiful island of Oahu, even if it does feel much more like an exotic holiday. They arrive on the Island on February 1941 and each and everyone of them are excited for the prospects of being in a tropical paradise, as the months count down till 7th December memories are made that will never be forgotten as the two groups form an unbreakable friendship that not even the devastation of war can break.
