(Labyrinth Fandom, Availible)
Character Name: Ramona or Mona for short.
Occupation (if applicable): Washer Woman and Cook
Age they appear and/or are: 37
Physical Description: Mona is just a few centimeters below 5’6 in height which is considerably short when compared to someone Like the Goblin King but still rather tall considering most of her acquaintances are less than five feet. What Mona lacks in height she seems to make up for in spades with her fiery red hair and quirky personality. Often seen in patch work Jewel tones someone might easily mistaken her for a gypsy if it weren’t for the fact that she lives in the Goblin city. While not as thin as she used to be in her younger years Mona manages to do quite well for herself and is most often seen brandishing a large wooden spoon which she seems to use for everything.
Personality: For a woman of her height Ramona is a spit fire and a formidable woman to deal with. Blunt and at times argumentative when provoked she is surely a lady who knows what she’s about and she won’t hesitate to point out the fact herself as she slaps some sense or food into you with her signature wooden spoon. Over all Ramona is a strong forthright deeply compassionate woman who doesn’t take any crap from anyone; human or Goblin alike. she also doesn’t like to meddle in other peoples personal business mostly because she prefers that they don’t meddle in hers. Given she’s one of the few human residents of the Goblin city with such notable features Mona is well known in the city and respected for her amazing abilities to both cook and stay clean.
A very LARGE wooden spoon named Matilda.
History: Mona doesn’t talk about her history much and will usually coast over any specific questions. She does however refer to a gentleman by the name of Raymond quite a bit and it is assumed that Raymond is, or more likely was, her husband at one time. Despite her non-desire to discuss her background Mona does avidly discuss her experiences relating to her life in the Labyrinth and will often give her…superficially passionate opinions…about the Goblin King whom she seems to avidly lust after in a none serious fantasy island sort of way. It’s unclear if Mona actually has a personal connection or not to Jareth however given her excellent cooking and cleaning skills it would not be unheard of for her to have done odd work in the castle.
There’s a very good chance given that Mona is human that her entrance into the underground was a direct result of some sort of bargain however the specifics of that deal have never been brought to light. Like many others in her position the circumstances behind her life in the Labyrinth were probably very unsavory. Still Mona seems to have adapted quite well to her current life.
Magical Ability (if any): Alas with the exception of her frozen age Mona has no magical abilities to speak of. She has however developed quite an understanding for botany and medicine making her the person to see in the Labyrinth for all ones home remedy needs. While certainly not a doctor or even a nurse by today’s standards. Mona knows how to set bones, sew up open wounds, birth babies both human and magical alike, and has a good grasp of what can hurt and help a person in the Labyrinth and surrounding wilds.
