Description

Sera is intended for modern realistic settings and is one of my more specific characters in terms of the plots I'm willing to involve her in.

Although I tend to write her in the later years of her life (Late thirties). I will occasionally go back and write about the periods of her mid twenties and early thirties.

Specific Ploting Periods:

Mid 20s- Between the ages of 19-26 Sera lived on the streets and was a chronic drug user and heroin addict. This period usually covers her experiences while living off the streets including the people she knew and the places she frequented.

Early to Mid 30s- Between the ages of 30-35 Sera did eventually break from her addiction but by this time she'd contracted HIV. This period covers the time after her diagnosis when she decided to retreat to an isolated ranch. The period chronicles her adventures with revitalizing this place and the development of her primary romantic relationships. Despite being HIV positive her health was still relatively good during this time.

Late 30s- Sera's late thirties are the primary period I write her in. By this time the ranch is fully operational on a small scale and Sera's health has begun to decline. Most of her care is assisted by life partner. During this period Sera uses the ranch as a rehabilitation facility for troubled women between the ages of 16-21. Sometimes she works with young mothers, other times she works with recovering addicts. Most don't know her history going in.
