Xandra wasn't anybody in high school even though she could have been if she'd wanted that kind of attention. Falling into none of the usual social categories Xandra spent a great deal of her teens picking up the stragglers left on the fringes of social normality.

Despite attracting eccentric people Xandra herself is decidedly vanilla and very grounded. Her ability to assimilate the traits of the environment around her is what has largely lead to confusions among her peers about who she is and what she's about.

Thus Xandra has decided to use her natural God given talent for adaptability to her own benefit if she can, especially since she has no desire to rot away in her dinky little Midwestern town till the end of days.
