(X-Men, Available)
Height: 5’9
Age: 36
Build: Athletic, although not as in shape as she’d like.
Eyes: Hazel
Hair: Platinum blond
Other Features: Zeb as an artistically designed black lotus on her arm and wears a matching ring with the same symbol.
Personality: Being a cancer Zeb is a highly relaxed individual. She could really care less about the bigger problems and opinions of the world at large as long as she’s got a little bit of cash in her pocket and the ability to play her tunes. Music is her passion and she has been known to get a tad emotional about it at times. The one thing Zeb does care about is personal security. She likes knowing that she has a place to sleep and the basics of common comfort to enjoy. Typically she doesn’t have a problem with anyone or anything until someone threatens her sense of security.
Level: Level 4
Major Power: Control of Electrical Fields - Zeb can basically knock out electronic devices by causing them to over load. She can also effectively stop electrical charges from loading causing machinery to malfunction. She could also cause people to experience neuro related afflictions such as seizures since the brain uses electrical impulses to send messages to the rest of the body. This makes dropping people relatively easy as well as short circuiting city power grids.
Note: If Zeb is dealing with an individual who already has abnormal energy firings of the brain she probably won’t be able to effect them the same way she could a normal person. In some cases she might not be able to affect a bizarrely abnormal person at all.
Minor Power: Magnetism – On a much smaller scale Zeb can manipulate magnetic fields which effectively allow her to deflect materials with certain metals in them. While she certainly wouldn’t be able to stop a bullet she could slow it down enough to have a better chance of getting out of the way enough for it not to hit anything vital. This also allows her to mess with watches, magnetic locks, and find her keys.

Fabricated History
Zeb came from an affluent family out of Boston but grew quickly unimpressed with the over indulgent lifestyle her parents enjoyed. For all the comfort they could afford, Zeb saw very little of her parents through out her childhood as they seemed far more content to hire other people to see to her needs. Creative at a very young age Zeb made up for her lack of parental involvement by spending large amounts of her time writing songs and listening to vintage rock records. By the time she was a teenager she had more or less taught herself how to play guitar and joined a short lived garage band which enjoyed a short stint of acclaim before utterly crashing and burning over creative differences and childish attention seeking.
Shortly after graduating high school which was her parents only real requirement of her, Zeb decided it was best to follower her own destiny and ditched Boston to hitchhike around the country playing music. However this only lasted for a few years before Zeb decided to return to Boston and settle down into a quieter more stable life in more familiar territory.
At some point she decide to offer her time to to the Institute for Gifted Children.
Deeper History:
Zeb was a follower of Magneto and, although she didn't necessarily agree with all of his beliefs, had reason to respect the man's legacy in general. It is possible that she perhaps related to him because of their similar abilities. Magneto was, in a way, like a surrogate grandfather figure to her. Although its unclear how well, if at all, Zeb new the man personally.
After Magneto's original group disbanded Zeb was one of the mutants recruited to join the next generation of the brotherhood lead by Mystique. Because of her abilities to travel via electrical currents like telephone lines, Zeb was often tasked with infiltration and breaking and entering as well as shutting down power grids so that the Brotherhood could enter and exit certain sensitive locations undetected.
During this short period Zeb had an on and off again relationships with several key mutants also connected to the brotherhood. Namely a human Mutant named Destiny (Irene Adler) who was a long time lover of Mystique's and who occasionally turned to Zeb when she was on the rocks with her main lover. Zeb never publicly admitted to a physical relationship mostly out of concern that Mystique would seek retaliation against her or Destiny if she thought Zeb was interfering in their affairs.
Zeb was also romantically linked with Toad who eventually broke away from Mystique's cell to start up his own team of mutants connected to the brotherhood. Their relationship was more steady and when Toad broke from Mystique so did Zeb. With toad in a leadership position which he wasn't nessisarly good at along with his brutish methods Zeb quickly lost interest in his causes. Finding his tactics to be too disorganized and a little too barbaric for her personal tastes. The couple eventually broke ties and its possible that Zeb took up with Sabertooth for a little while. Although there's a good chance their relationship was more physical than anything else.
Ultimately Zeb went off on her own for awhile until she had an unusual run in with a mutant known as Nightcrawler. After that Zeb stuck closely to the mutant and was eventually refereed by him to Storm and the X-men.
No longer having any particular loyalties to uphold Zeb decided to help Storm with the basic workings of the institute under the advisement and strong encouragement of Kurt. Her attitudes were highly transient however and its unclear how long Zeb intended to stay with the x-Men.
As for story arcs she could always have the Brotherhood decide they want her back if only because Zeb knows things about their organization. There also might be some bad blood between her and Mystique if we assume that Destiny is indeed now dead. I've also been toying with the idea that perhaps Zeb's parents weren't really biologically hers. That would certainly explain their indifference to her throughout her childhood and early years.
