Shouldn't the place entitled "Home of the Drow," be underground?

when are you starting?
would a water nymph have a tail?
Re: [OOC] Perdamaia
As far as character-plot goes for him, the crystal seeks to be come a crystal construct, and the warforged is like "'eh...whatever. as long as I get to kill something."

gawd starting a DnD-based RP is a pain the greaser some times... isn't it? Oh well...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_of_Eberron#Warforged Eberron race called the Warforged. One of my all-time favorite races out of any Roleplaying games that I've had the chance to play.
That link isn't great......
ok after searching for 10 minutes, I fail to find an adequate explanation of the Warforged race from DnD 3.5ed (the best version of the game, if I may say so myself. in 4thed, everyone is WAY too powerful, and "original" and 2nd ed just needed work on their rules, like the THAC: 0 thing)
Living construct: Warforged are constructs that can think on their own and have a constitution score
Gets all the benefits of class levels
resistance to mind-Effecting spells and abilities
Immunity to poison, sleep effects, paralysis, disease, nausea, fatigue, exhaustion, effects that cause the sickened condition, and energy drain.
Cannot "heal" naturally (must repair)
Subject to "critical hits," non-lethal damage, stunning, ability damage, drain, and death/necromancy effects
Half-effected by "cure" spells (cure light wounds, lay on hands, et cetera), can be healed by "repair" spells (repair minor damage, repair major damage, mechanist's touch)
Crafted from metals and ironbark, thus can be effected by "rusting grasp" or "repel wood" type spells
When reduced to 0 hitpoints, they're "disabled" not "killed"
Can be "raised" or "resurrected" like normal people
Does not need to eat, sleep, or breathe, but can benefit from effects of consumable spells and magic items such as "heroes' feast" and potions.
Although they do not need to sleep, they must "rest" for 8 hours like any other spellcaster to replenish spells
+2constitution, +2strength, -2wisdom, and -2 charisma. Warforged are resilient and powerful, but their difficulty in relating to other creatures makes them seem aloof or even hostile.
Can be made small, medium, or large
Speed based on size
Natural armor +2 (can be made higher if crafted from different materials. Mithril and Adamant bodies are common)
Harder to score crits on
"Natural weapon" both arms can serve as "slam attacks"
Starting language: common. Bonus: Language of creator, any others.
Would this be a playable race in this campaign?
sure.

Re: [OOC] Perdamaia
Can we have a posting order? (think of it like everyone keeps rolling the same initiative over and over again for some reason or another)

Re: [OOC] Perdamaia
As much of a nerd as I am, I do know a way to keep track of XP (exp, experience, et cetera) within a roleplay like this, but I'm not nerd enough to actually do it... Besides, it's easier to just say "to hell with the rules" since the point of Rping is to tell a story and have fun. Actual DnD is about conquest and leveling...

Re: [OOC] Perdamaia
Are you following any sort of level up or balancing system? I don't want to keep bookwork with "This character has XXX feat and XXX strength stat" ...
And what about racial abilities? Do drow get faire fire and light blindness?
