Seiko

Seiko woke up and looked at the clock it was about half 8 in the morning and she looked around her room. She smiled to herself, It has only been a month and a half since she moved in with Takashi. Her room was still pretty bare and she still need to unpack alot of her boxes. Seiko got up out of the bed and rummaged though one of the boxes that was full of clothing. After about half an hour she found what she was looking for. She found her red satin top, Black shirt with the BVB band logo on it, A black and red checkered skirt, black tights and her black military boots, she went and had a shower and then went back to the room that she had claimed as her own and got dried and changed. It took her about an hour to get ready as she also had to do her hair, she brushed it and then put it up in to a pony tail. As she did this she began to think if Takashi is awake. She then started to think about when he said she could like with him. Once she had finished getting dressed, she looked at the clock it was now about 10 o'clock. Seiko walked out of the room and walked to the living room. She looked around and she saw Takashi sleeping on the lounger, with his duvet over him, Seiko smiled. She walked over to him, shook him and said "Takashi, it is time to get up." He stirred and opened his eyes slightly. She walked over to the adjoining kitchen.

Takashi

He felt someone shake him and then heard Seiko saying "Takashi, it is time to get up.". He moved his arm to pull his duvet off of him and he opened his eyes. He saw Seiko walk over to the Kitchen and he could help but star at her as she looked so much like Alanna. Takashi got up off his make-shift bed, he was still in yesterdays clothes where Seiko was washed and dressed. He walked in to the Kitchen next to Seiko, He pulled out bowls for both himself and Seiko from the cupboard. He said "Seiko go and sit down I'll make you breakfast" " Thank you Takashi" he smiled at her. He made porridge for both of them and put sugar in his but not hers as she preferred hers plain where as he had a but of a sweet tooth. He took the bowls over and handed one to Seiko and they both started to eat. As they ate he said "Hey Seiko after you finished what do you say that we go out and get paint and then decorate your room and then i could help you unpack the rest of your stuff?" She smiled at him then said " Yeah that sound good Takashi" Takashi could tell that there was something that Seiko was not telling but he decided not to quiz her about it.

Lightning opened his eyes, stretching his arms out, and sat up. Another dreamless night, just closing his eyes, waking up in what seemed to be seconds later.

He sat up, showering to wake himself up further, before dressing in the clothes he was going to wear for the day: he decided on a white tank top, witch showed off his tattoo,and black jeans. As always, he wore his tight black combat boots. You never knew when you needed the sturdiness they supplied.

Always, ALWAYS, He kept his pendant around his neck. He took it, and stared at in or, rather, the feather it showed. This single feather represented everything Lightning desired: to one day meet a Battle Maiden: A graceful Valkyrie . He clenched it tightly, before letting it fall around his neck. Dressed like this, he felt he could accomplish anything.

Today, he was on duty, so he grabbed a Badge- the one signifying he was working for the Shirogane detective Agency. He was on the job today, so he would have to get busy, and hurry up with solving the cse, so he could get his money, and go on to more important things.

He holstered his police issued- wolf ram, and stuck it where visible, according to the law. He nodded, sastified. What could this day possibly hold in store for him?

Going through the mental list, after helping Detective Shirogane Solve a crime, and was going to hang out with his buddies from the Kendo team. They would ask him to drink, but everyone knew he would decline.

He strapped on his Helmet, got on his Bike, and drove off. Today felt different somehow...

Jonathan

Jonathan hadn't slept again that night. The dreams were still affecting him. He could never concentrate on anything. Ever since that day he had been haunted by the memories.

He shook his head, put down his book and walked to the bathroom. He went to the bathroom, brushed his teeth and then went for a cold shower. Jonathan was fully awake when he went to get changed. He went for his usual grey outfit.



He went through to his sister's room and knocked the door lightly. She opened it and smiled.

Sarah

Sarah stepped away from the door and let Jonathan enter. She had already showered and changed.




She sat down with him and hugged him.
"The memories won't be there forever. I know you miss her but you have to move on. It's the only way..." They were both crying and the parted to look at each other.
"Right...you wipe your eyes and we'll get to the shopping district. I need you with me because this place still confuses me.

They got up and started on their way out of the huge house and on their way to the shopping district.
"Where should we get something to eat? Aiya?" Sarah asked. Jonathan nodded and they went on their way there.

(Sorry this is going to be quite long I have allot to say)

Seiko

Seiko finished her bowl of porridge and after Takashi was finished she took both of their empty bowls to the sink, because when she moved in they agreed that if Takashi was to make the food Seiko would wash the dishes. As she was walking to the sink she said " Takashi, your best going for a shower while I do this."
" That's a good idea Seiko, good thinking"
" No problem"
Out of the corner of her eyes she saw him get up. She smiled. As she washed the bowls and the dishes from last night she started to think back to before she moved in.

Her memory

She was coming out of the church after paying her respects. Takashi was with her, he was always with her since she had met him he became another big brother but a big brother she was closer too, he was with her though her family's meltdown and now though their deaths, the nurses said he was stayed with her when she was in the coma . When they left the church she fell to the ground and started crying, Takashi caught her and she cried in to his shoulder. she said "Takashi I can't go back to that house not with so many memory's of them, i just can't do it" "Don't" She gave him a surprised look " What, what do you mean by that?" tears still streaming down her face "Seiko, I mean come and live with me". She just looked at him with tear filled eyes and nodded.

She looked down at that memory she was still over their deaths yet, but yet she was grateful at Takashi for taking her in. She was now finished washing the dishes. As she turned round, with plates in her hand she saw Takashi, in nothing but a towel looking on the washing machine. She dropped the plates, the plates hit the floor with a crash and broke in to pieces. She looked at the broken plates and then back to Takashi red faced and her hand over her mouth and she mumbled "I'm sorry". Seiko the turned away, she was now over the Sink trying to hide her face.

Takashi

Takashi had not long finished his breakfast when Seiko took the bowl. She Started to walk to the sink, she then turned her head a little, just enough so he could see a bit of her green eyes. He just started at her, she then said " Takashi,
your best going for a shower while I do this."
He smiled and said
" That's a good idea Seiko, good thinking"
"No problem"
He got up and started to the bathroom,but he stopped and looked at her, He wanted to go over to her and hug her, like he used to do with Alanna, but he refrained from doing that . He continued to the bathroom, picking up a towel on the way there.

When he got to the Bathroom he turned on the shower and then go in. He looked up straight in to the shower head and started to think about Alanna and Seiko. He shook the memory's of Alanna away as he did not want to start crying as, for one, he was Seiko's rock and two, he did not want to think about the past as his future looked so promising. With his Hair washed and his body clean, but not quite up to Seiko's standard of clean. He laughed to himself at how clean the girl was. He remembered the day she moved in, before even the bed went in she had to clean the room from top to bottom and she cleaned it until it was sparkling, the first time since Takashi had moved in to the house had he seen the room that clean. He stepped out and put the towel around his waist.

He walked though to the living room and then in to the kitchen, Seiko was still there and she had a thoughtful expression on her face so he did not bother to say anything. He walked in and headed straight for the washing machine and started looking for some decent......enough clothing, as this was his day off he did not need a suit. He turned round facing Seiko when he heard a crash. He looked up at Seiko, he hand on her mouth and she said "I'm Sorry she then turned around, most likely trying to hide her red face. he got up and walked up be hind her and said " Don't worry Seiko, we can always get new plates" He smiled. He kissed her on the forehead like ad older brother would do. He then walked of and got changed. He put on a black T-Shirt with a white shirt over it with black Jeans and trainers. He walked back though to the Living room and said " Are you ready to leave". She nodded and they walked out of the house.


When they got to the Shopping District, Passed a Chinese food shop and Seiko was walking around with her head down, as always. She walked right in to a Boy with brown hair, she said " Oh god I'm so sorry, I was walking around with my eyes shut." the boy was with a beautiful Young girl that looked about the same age as Seiko. Takashi saw Seiko walk in to the boy and said " Sorry Sir," He bowed in respect.

“What is the meaning of this?” Came the voice of an old man. There was a party going on, where 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous' were hosting a show on the outskirts of Inaba. There was expensive wine, lots of happiness... and a dead body. Naturally, the police were called immediately, as well as the Shirogane Detective Agency.

It was a really hard case two. The victim was locked up in a room, and it was locked from the inside, and the door hadn't been forced. The gun was still there, as was an electrical box of some sorts.

Lightning looked around at the body, confused.... how had the killer gotten in? There was no way he could have climbed in... they were on the third floor? The door was open, true...”

A thought struck him, and he looked out the window, guessing the layout of the windows, and hurled himself out, catching a hold of a windowsill, slowing his fall as he caught another one, and then landed on the ground, perfectly okay.

He looked at the ground close to where he had fallen. There were no footprints... only tire marks.. small, thin ones. At that, Lightning's eyes lit up. “I solved it.” He said, speaking into a spear.

“Understood, we'll gather everyone.... let's hope your right.” Detective Shirogane said, and Lightning nodded, though no one could see him.
…..

“This was a difficult case...” Lightning said, looking around, “-and we have had quite a few problems... but it ends here... First of all, the time itself was fabricated.” Lightning said, making sure he had everyone's attention, “There was an electronic box stuck to the window... I'm guessing it's a trigger of sorts , that starts once the window is opened. Attached to the gun was a wire... a short time after the killer escaped, the gun fired...witch would give our killer a solid alibi.... truth was, the victim was already dead before the gun fired... Chances are, he used a silencer before hand. After witch, the killer escaped out the window, and returned to the party.

“But it's too high up.” Detective Shirogane said... but then his eyes lit up, “The Floor layout?”
Lightning nodded. “I jumped out that window my self, and I found out that you could slow your fall by attempting to grab each window. There's only one person who would know the layout of the house that well... and the tire marks I found only prove my theory... It's the owner, Hotayama Arisa!” He said, pointed at the culprit, a young woman in a wheel chair. With a nod, he gripped an ice sculpture, and hurled it at her. Reacting, she got up, and jumped out of the way. As she did, a silencer fell from out of her cast.
…..

Later on, Lightning stretched, pleased with his success. That case had taken longer than he would have suspected... now, he would get some noodles at Aiya, and then on for a few hours of trainng behind the shrine.

Lightning smiled, suddenly hungry, as he stepped into Aiya, quite read y for the noodles that were his reward for a splendid job.

Jonathan looked at the girl who bumped into him.
"Oh god I'm so sorry, I was walking around with my eyes shut."
"That's ok. Sorry, I wasn't really looking where I was going either." He said before Sarah walked up to them.
"Sorry Sir," The boy with her said before bowing.
"Uh..."
"Come on Jonathan, we need to get those paints before their run out or you'll never get that painting finished and I need more paper or I'm never going to be able to print that story. Hello there, sorry for interrupting but we are in a bit of a rush. Do I know you from somewhere...never mind. Paint, paper, Aiya. That was the deal and you are not getting out of it that easily." She said with her hands on her hips. He glared over at her and she said: "Don't make me use these." She clicked her heel off of the ground and Jonathan flinched.
"I get it, I get it. Sorry for talking to people. You know what, go get your paper and paint, than we can get some Chinese food. Once we're done, I'll bu you a knew dress." Sarah raised her eyebrow when he said this. He sighed as realization hit him.
"With matching shoes." Jonathan said, clearly defeated. She smiled and turned before running off. She had always been good at running in heels. He turned to the girl.
"Sorry about that. Jonathan Darkholme, and that's my sister Sarah. What's your names?" He said while holding out his hand.

"That's ok. Sorry, I wasn't really looking where I was going either."

Seiko looked at the boy and said " I'm sorry" as she said this she could hear her voice starting to tremble. She looked around and the shopping Distract was starting to become more cramped by the minute and she could feel herself and also start to tremble so she caught Takashi's arm and leaned her head on it. She only ever did this when her claustrophobia kicked in. Takashi put his arm round her and said " Seiko it's set in hasn't it" she nodded. The boy introduced himself and the girl that had just walked away. Seiko could not speak as she was concentrating to much on not freaking out in front of the guy.

The boy Seiko just bumped in to started talking. As Seiko talked Takashi could hear her voice tremble and when she caught his arm he put his arms round her, held her head to his chest and said " Seiko it's set in Hasn't it" She nodded and he started to look for somewhere to go, but he knew she would only feel fine when they get back the house but he knew they need to get stuff for the house. The boy introduced himself and Takashi said "Hello Jonathon, I'm Takashi Saito and this is Seiko Ikida. you said you were going to buy paint, could you show us where the shop is please." He let his worry show in is eyes. then said " Come on Seiko do not worry, we are going to get the paints for your room and then we will get something to eat at Aiya okay, we will be done soon i promise." He hated seeing her like this and he also knew this was the after effect of the crash. Takashi was looking in to Seiko's eyes and he could see the fear and he was impressed how well she was hiding it.

Beka had just started work, and she was already tired. She had been pulling double shifts all week, and today was no different. It had been this way since she graduated, working constantly. She didn't mind so much though, she liked working at Aiya, and the other staff were nice enough she supposed. Even though she had only just turned 19, and a foriegner, but they were nice, even if they worried about her because she worked more shifts than the rest of them put together. She and her father needed the money though, he didn't work, couldn't even, due to his drinking habits. It had gotten him fired from his last job, and he hadn't found another. Beka thought that the man had just given up on life now, and it saddened her to think that. He had taken her in, when she had come to Japan about a year before, after that incident.
No...I'm not going to think about that, not now. It's over... she tried to control her thoughts as she finished putting on her uniform, ready for her shift.
