Introduction
For the last couple of decades has made an advancement that has improved lives the most recent is the creation of Nekos and Inus. These creatures have all the senses of the there cat and dog counter parts, but with human intelligent. Right now only a select few humans know about these creatures. As of now they are kept on a small island far from civilization, but now is the time to test these new creations to see if human can coexist and build possible friendship or maybe even a little bit of romance. The small problem is there might be some competition between the nekos and inus since some are still heavily in the cat and dog rivalry.
The selected few humans will stay on the island the creatures created in a large resort built a year before as plan leading up to this experiment. Humans will have one neko and one inu staying with them in the apartment like resort. Everything is provide for the human excluding personal clothing. The experiment will last for a month and if the human truly enjoys the companionship of one or both, then they will create more to be released to the public. However, not known to humans, neko, or inu if one group favors more than the other the loosing group will be terminated, but if both groups have the same or rather equal favoring then both will survive and allowed to live and be sold to the public.
Dear Mr. or Miss
You have been selected to participate in a month long, resort experiment. Now as I am sure you may not know what is a neko or an inu? Both are specially created pets that are human and cat or dog mix. They are highly intelligent and are anxious to learn and have fun with you. We want our fluffy friends to learn from real humans and enjoy the love and affection from a real human. All our companions are very intelligent they are capable of human speech, emotion, and yes they are house broken each one has there own personality, but will enjoy your company please send the returning paper and envelope with a check on yes box if you would like to come. We will send you plane tickets to your address to have you come to this limited time offer of a lifetime.

OOC Notes
Akira sat in a chair in a room with other neko's ,and inu's. He was reading a book, and drinking some fruit juice while waiting for the meeting he tought.
"I really don't like humans... ohwell i musn't judge directly. It's mean not to give someone a fair chance."
After a while reading he turned the page to read the other part.
He wasn't one person who was the one to open a conversation fast with others, he is just not good at it. He hopes he could change at that at some point.
Tough he might not be the first to talk he do's talk but won't be the one to start one anytime soon, and because no one was talking yet, he kept reading his book.

Kyra was sitting in a corner, on the floor with a black ribbon in her hands. She ignored the other Neko's and Inu's as she started to stand, getting tired of this waiting. She didn't really have paitence, she realized as she started to pace back in forth. She didn't know who these humans really were or whether or not she could trust them, or what their motives really were for coming here. Kyra didn't like thinking too much about specific things and her head was starting to get a headache.
OOC Notes
Garveys' light brown hair covered his eyes as he read his book his light brown cat ears downcast as his tail lightly twitched every now and then. He really wasn't paying that much attention to the speaker, though he was a bit curious about humans. He didn't know how they'd react to him or the others. Just as he was deep in concentration someone tapped him on the shoulder startling him as he looked up with his two mismatched colored eyes, his right a bright green, his left a rich blue almost indigo. They hold to him a glass of water, "Huh? O-oh thanks..." he muttered as he took the glass almost dropping it. His eyes widen as he quickly shifted his balance and makes sure the water doesn't spill. He sighs in relief, he takes a sip of his ice cold water before he continues to read his tail wrapping around the leg of his chair.

Rasi eye was half closed as he paid attention to the speaker as his snowy white with black tips ears slowly drooping as he wished he could play his zithar or his bamboo flute but knew that the people would take it away. Lily stretched and let out a big yawn as she rolled over on the carpet, trying to take a nap. She wasn't exactly the 'lazy' type Inu, but there was nothing else for her to do, since it could possibly turn out wrong.

Leo
I wondered if it had been a good idea to sign the sheet as Leo. I mean, it was my name... just not my name. But this would be exciting. Like starting at a new place again. I smiled slightly. It would be the prank of the year, as Daddy would say. Definitely a prank of the year.
I remembered the day I got the letter. It was a depressing day in college, filled with lectures with lots and lots of notes. I got back to the little apartment I rented, and found the letter. It told me all about these experiments they had, where they wanted to use some humans for trials. I accepted, of course. I'd just have to complete my courses online, and I'd brought all my textbooks with me in my backpack-it was very, very heavy. Anyway, here I was, on this beautiful island which I'd be staying at for a while now. I think I would love it here; it seemed like a serene place. And hopefully, the nekos and inus would be nice. And if not nice, then at least bearable and not terrible. A rhyme again! I wonder if I should call Mother and ask her about her new collection of poems; the one she said she had started after hearing from me.

Hunter was in a pissed off mood he growled in anger. Rooms weren't exactly his favorite to be in considering they were small. He watched as the other nekos and inus keeping himself away unless he flashed teeth there way. The black German Shepherd pointed his ears forward as the sound of someone coming in. One of the scientist as always he growled at the brunette female name Clair. Naturally she shot him a harsh look a silent threat of don't step out of line.
"Your attention please." Clair called to the group of pets. "Quiet down everyone! As you know today all of you are going to be living with humans for a bit of time. So I expect each and everyone of you to mind your manners." She paused briefly. "We've decided to separate you accordingly, so please try to be fair to your new roommates. And please no fighting." Clair said calmly as she looked at everyone. "Okay then! Now I have a list of your other roommate, so pair up and come to me to grab your keys."

Garvey took a the list someone handed him and his ears almost drooped a bit, not that of who he was paired with, but because he was not good with other people... he was easy to tease and shy. He got up almost tripping but used his tail for balance before he fell flat on his face and walked up to his new roomate, he had seen him in the lab before so he was easy to spot. "Umm looks like we are paired up Hunter..." he muttered to him trying to break off his shyness. "Wanna grab the room key or should I?" he asked him as he held his book at his side, it was obvious that he is a shy and timid neko.

Kyra heard the female scientist say some things, but of course, Kyra wasn't listening. She was too busy standing still beside a giant vase full of flowers... as she read the paper... and almost fell over but caught herself by grabbing the vase. Unfortunately the vase wasn't so lucky... it fell and broke. Her roommate was a female inu called Alice and her human was some Reno person. She looked down at vase, hoping everyone would ignore her...

Hunter found the his name next to a neko's name. Satisfy he wouldn't have to deal with another inu still he didn't move. His demeanor didn't change he kept the same glare in his eyes still evidently pissed that he awoken early for this. It wasn't that he hated humans he hated to be awaken early only to be made to wait instead of good romp or a run.
"Umm looks like we are paired up Hunter..." he muttered to him trying to break off his shyness. "Wanna grab the room key or should I?" he asked him as he held his book at his side, it was obvious that he is a shy and timid neko. Hunter looked up at him and grin. Although his grin was more of a twisted smile with teeth and glaring eyes instead of a true grin. "I got them." He said half growling. Walking to Clair he grabbed the keys from her, a set for him and set for Garvey. "Here." He handed a key to Garvey. Examining the key he saw a number 12. "We're in room 12. I hate that number." Garvey looked at Hunters smile and suppressed a shiver as he watched Hunter get the keys. He took the key held out to him and tilted his head curiously when Hunter said he hated the number 12. "Why?" he asked him when a loud crashing sound entered the hall his tail became stiff at the sound and his ears twitched in his startlement. He turned around to the noise and saw a neko girl next to a broken vase. He sighed a bit in relief as his tail and ears went back to normal. "that was surprising..." he thought to himself with a sigh of relief.

"All you all right?" he asked her as he started picking up the broken vase pieces and looked at one of the assistants "Bring a broom and dust pan." he stated to them as he made sure not to cut himself or her with any of the shards. His tail swishing a bit, he grabs the broom and dustpan offered to him and quickly cleans it up as he dumps the shards into the trash can. "Hope you aren't hurt." he tells her as he walks back to Akira.

Hunter flinched at the sound of the vase crashing. He looked over to see that Kyra had did it shaking his head he looked back at Garvey. "Why?" he asked him Hunter sighed. "I was kept in a cage for 12 years of my life as the first German Shepherd to be created as an Inu." He then grinned again. "Lets just say they can't control me. But I can't control anyone either." Lightly scratching his neck. "I have a bad way with words. They say I am very much feral."

Garvey nodded, "I'd hate that number if that happened to me... I don't remember my past. They say that happens sometimes." he said with a shrug. "Y-you don't have a bad way with words. I stumble over mine all the time... or I just clam up." he said with a slight shake of his head his ears drooping a bit. "I get teased a lot cause of it, but I am used to that." he said and realized he maybe seen as rambling. His ears shoot straight up, "S-sorry. I-I didn't mean to ramble there. Ummm wanna head to the room?" he asked him to quickly change the subject.

Kyra glared at Rasi instead of replying. She didn't want help or to even clean it up. Thats why this place has servants and janitor's right? She knew she was being unfair by not helping Rasi or even talking to him. She looked at the human scientist and instead of getting her keys or even bothering to tell them where she was going, she walked out of the room. She just couldn't take all that... stuff. She was angry and she didn't know why, so it just made her angrier. Kyra was heading to the beach to cool off. She always did better outside then inside. It was some walk but hey, it's not like she had own car to drive there. Once at the beach she sat down in the shade of a palm tree, that was slightly slanting forward. She watched the tide rise and lower.

Lily looked up at the scientist lady, and quickly stood. She took the list and looked at it, narrowing her eyes as she wasn't very good at reading, actually, she had to put some mind and time in it. Slowly, she started reading her room-mates name, letter by letter, silently to herself: "N..Neko B..Be..Bella and.." She let out a long, drawn out sigh, not being quite sure to read the humans name. "Eh whatever, who ever it is, I'll be fine I guess.." She assured herself, looking around for the neko, whose name was said to be Bella. She shrugged again, the neko would find Lily by herself, and if not the scientists would bring her, so it wasn't much of a problem, however.. It wouldn't be nice to leave this 'Bella' alone.. She could be a good person! Lily thought, and smiled as she walked up to the scientist and took the keys to their room, not really minding what was going around.
She glanced around the room for her neko room-mate, then, after a few minutes of thought and search, she came up to her, smiling, and with a bright tone, she said: "Looks like we'll be room-mates! I'm Lily, but I'm more than sure that you know me. Well.. Maybe I'm not so sure about that."

Akira Closed his book looking at the inu who introduced himself as Rasi who asked before that "May I ask what book? If you do not wish to tell me that is all right."
He replyd "Nice to meet you my name is Akira. About the book i am reading it's a book about cooking im trying to learn some new dishes. tough cooking is just a hobby of mine." He went to the woman giving the keys who gave him a blushing smile, and handed him two sets of keys.
Akira turned around calmly to look where the breaking sound came from seeing a female neko next to a broken vase, and also seeing Rasi cleaning it,and being nice to her. But she kind off only glared at him he said to the female neko before she went away only she could hear.

Rasi wiped his hands on the front of his kimono and walked back to Akira, "So you like to cook as well? I dabble in it myself... I am all right I suppose, though I tend to over cook it ah well practice and all." he said as he took the keys. "I am not to worried about it. I didn't smell any blood on her." he said with a small smile, "she may not like inus." he said. He nodded, "We probably should check on the room I hope my Zithar is all right..." he uttered as his ears drooped a bit in worry. "Lucky Seven better work."
OOC Notes
Reno looked down at the parchment in his hands, on it was a scribbled down address that had been written in a hurry. His eyes raised to view the massive hotel again before he shoved the paper into the back of his black jeans.
He carried one suitcase, filled with any needs he may come to find necessary as well as his entertainment needed. He wasn't truly sure why he had signed up for this, but it would seem to help his socializing skills. Besides, he liked dogs and cats so it could not be impecibly terrible.
He rolled his suitcase next to him and set it upright when he went to the main desk. He murmered something about what he was doing there and the too perky receptionist knew exactly what to do and began clacking away at her computer before handing him a room card.
"Your pets are Alice and Kyra. They are in that room over there." She directed him towards where he needed to go and he nodded, giving her a thanks before going to his room to set his stuff down.
He shoved his hands into his pockets after entering the room the woman had told him would hold his "new friends" and he found a chair to sit in. He was quite sure what he was supposed to be doing so he waited there with his leg proped on his knee and waited for instuctions or if there would be an indication as to who exactly his pet was.
He carried one suitcase, filled with any needs he may come to find necessary as well as his entertainment needed. He wasn't truly sure why he had signed up for this, but it would seem to help his socializing skills. Besides, he liked dogs and cats so it could not be impecibly terrible.

Hunter raised his brow a bit his mood was improving a bit more. He kind of found Garvey interesting even though he was easily bullied. "You shouldn't apologize." He said as he motion to the door to head to the room. "If you don't speak your mind then your just going to keep bulling you." A scientist handed him a bag with new clothes for each of the inus and nekos according to there likes. That the scientist did take time to learn about.

Garvey offered a slight smile, "Thanks I will keep that in mind Hunter." he said as he fumbled with the bag that was handed to him. "T-thanks." he uttered out to her as he continued walking his tail swished lightly as he looked out of the window and at the see. "Wow! Is that the ocean?" he asked as his ears perked up his tail rapidly moving in excitement. "I never seen one this close only in pictures!" he proclaimed with glee his whole face lighting up.

Hmm. Room number 12. Lucky or unlucky depending on how you look upon it and depending on the culture. The jittery, annoyingly bright receptionist lady who was a little too nosy said Garvey and Hunter were their names. My roommates for the next while or so and people I should be able to get along with or I learned nothing from traveling. I studied the key, for no reason really, and started walking, crashing into something or the other every five feet. Quite literally. First the staff that worked here. Then the corner of a wall, a hall table, the wall itself, one of the carts with the cleaning supplies on it, and almost tripping on the carpeting. Obviously there was not a coordinated person in my family. I wondered why I seemed to crash into things so much as I crashed once again, this time banging heads with a person a little too hard. I dizzily stepped backwards, my backpack giving Newton's Laws a hand, and then sat down hard on the floor, the breath completely knocked out of me, and seeing stars. I'm almost positive I was outside somebody's room, but I couldn't tell if it was mine or not.
"Sorry for crashing into you. I'm Leo." I said, attempting to get up, but missing. Hopefully they won't question the name but questioning it is normal.

Hunter looked out to the ocean and took a sniff. It smelt salty and sweet almost the wind brought the smell of the trees. Taking more and more smells in he smelled the sand, light smell of woods, tropical flowers, and finally he caught the scent of Garvey. Without meaning to he followed Garvey's scent bumping his nose on his shoulder. "Sorry about that I have a bad habit of following scents. "This is the first time I've smelled anything thing like this. The outside smells good."

Garveys' ears straighten up as Hunter bumped into his shoulder he smiled, "That's okay. I understand I will follow the scent of fish anywhere." he told him with a grin. He felt someone bump into him and stumbled back almost stumbling into Hunter. He blinked and looked down at the girl in front of him. He saw her stumble back down and offered her his hand. "It's okay. I am Garvey." he said with a smile as he looked at her with his mismatched eyes, "and this is Hunter." he told her with a smile. He quickly looks away feeling awkward at the moment. "u-um do you need help going somewhere?" he asked her.

I pulled off the backpack, got up with Garvey's help, and pulled the backpack back on, staggering under the weight. "I apologize." I said quietly. Even though I traveled a lot, I was never a person person. I wasn't very open or touchy feely, and that receptionist really helped me... get off on the wrong foot.
"I think we've been paired up." I said, my voice still very soft. I was surprised and also kind of pleased that there had been no comments on my name. Leo... isn't exactly a girl's name. "Room twelve?"
Inside, I was kinda upset. I really didn't want to be the regular, kinda heartless me. Unfortunately, that's who I was right now. I studied both of them, and thought they both seemed nice enough, though Garvey's bicolored eyes were peculiar. But nothing special. I remembered someone or the other from my past who had had a sister with one eye that was pale blue and one that was grey. I'd never seen eyes that were as striking as his, though. A side effect? Hunter reminded me of someone who would like nothing better than to pull a prank on someone when their back was turned. Sorta like me. Just his sort of prank might be a bit more brutal.

Hunter then gets a half step closer as she takes her scent in. "My name is Hunter and he's Garvey." He points at Garvey. "Whats your name?" With a grin that's more teeth than an actual grin.

I actually thought that this might be some kind of karma but I don't think I had done anything bad yet... except for signing my name Leo. Huh. I started wondering why exactly I hadn't changed my name back which was pointless. I loved the name Leo. It was part of who I was now, and it would be hard for me to answer to my actual name. My actual, long complicated, icky name. I realized that I sounded very much like a little kid. Apparently, I do not know the meaning of the words growing up. And I don't really care. I wait for Hunter or Garvey to say something, quietly, my eyes taking in little details.
