N Harmonia walked through Black City, the town in which he had been born. He had grown up in a castle, all alone, with no mother, and an evil father. All his friends where Pokemon. But now that could change. He was out of the castle now. He commanded Team Plasma. Lord N, they called him. Lord! With them at his every beck and call, he could do anything. His first order would be to free Pokemon from those abominable trainers who mistreat them so. He munched on a sandwich he had bought from a shop. It was good. He grabbed a Pokeball from his belt and raised his arm parallel to the ground. He pushed the button and the ball opened, emitting a red light. His longtime friend Thundurus appeared from the Pokeball and floated in front of him. It started to rain.

"Hello my friend." N said to Thundurus, smiling.

"Hello N! Would you like me to take you somewhere?" N heard Thundurus' voice inside his head. In his short time in the outside world he had come to know that no one else could hear the voices of the Pokemon. That was sad. If they could, then maybe they would treat them better. Someone looked at him as they passed by under an umbrella, shielding themselves from the rain. What disgusting creatures, humans. They only thought about themselves.

"I'll show them." N thought. "Heh heh." He chuckled. More people stared as they passed by, huddled under there jackets. N let the rain wash over him and laughed, looking up at the sky. He jumped onto Thundurus' back, atop the cloud he sat in. "Let us go Thundurus! Onwards to Kanako Town!"

White sat at her computer in her room, finishing up an email to a friend that lived in the long-off region of Sinnoh. She stretched, leaning back in her chair. The front legs hit the floor with a jolt as the Xtrancevier's alarm rang. 'Shoot! I completely forgot!' She jumped up, grabbing her bag and racing toward the door. "Hi mom, I have to go, see you!"
She ran out the door, slamming it in her haste, and started for Professor Juniper's lab. Panting, she tried to compose herself before walking through the door. She was the first of her two other friends there. Juniper smiled, welcoming her in.
"So, since you're here early, why don't you go ahead and pick your starter Pokemon?" she said.
"Really!? You mean it?" she said eagerly.
"Sure, why not?" said Juniper, leading White toward the case. A bubble of glass was over the metal cylinder. A platform came up, reavealing three Pokeball.
The glass seperated from the center, the three Pokeball sitting on the platform tantilizingly. Juniper reached for the first Pokeball. She pressed the button, and a green Pokemon popped out. "This is Snivy, the grass starter."
Juniper reached for the next Pokeball. She pressed the button again and a red, pig-like Pokemon popped out. "This is Tepig, the fire starter."
Juniper picked up the last Pokeball, pressing the button. A small blue pokemon popped out. "And this is Oshawott, the Water starter."
White immediately said, "I want Oshawott." She held out her hand for the Pokeball. Juniper laughed.
"Here you go then." she said, handing White the Pokeball. She returned the other two to thier Pokeball. White held out the Pokeball, "Oshawott, return."
Juniper picked up something blue from the counter, handing it to White. "This is your Pokedex. Can you do a favor for me?" she asked.
White nodded. "Sure"
"See all the Pokemon in Unova for me, alright?" asked Juniper.
White nodded again. Juniper smiled and said thanks.
"Go on, then. Go ahead and start your journey a Pokemon Trainer!" said Juniper. White smiled and dashed out the door, after letting Oshawott back out. Oshawott sat perched on her shoulder as she went out to start her journey.

With a Spiky-eared Pichu perched on her shoulder, Leira Haley, Pro. Rowan's traveling assistant, was on her way to Pro. Juniper's lab. Apparently there was this new Pokedex that he wanted her to have, and was instructed that when she first arrived in Unova was to immediately go to his fellow researcher's lab to upgrade her Pokedex.
Whatever, she thought silently, scratching behind her Pichu's ear. "Pi!" she cried happily.
Fishing out a treat, Leira fed it to her Pokemon. "Here you go, Sparki! Eat up!"
The little Pokemon gobbled it up. "Pi!"

Finally reaching the Professor's lab, Leira was just about to walk in when she ran into someone. Falling on her butt, Leira first picks up Sparki, who had fallen off her shoulder, and puts her back in her place. Then, while getting up, she brushed herself off, saying angrily, "Hey, please watch what you're doing!"

Thundurus stopped beside a small house in Kanako town. N jumped off of him and gracefully landed on the ground. "Thank you Thundurus." He said, extending his arm and returning him to his Pokeball. N glanced around the town. It seemed, for the most part, empty. a few houses, and towards the north, a larger building that could only be Professor Juniper's lab. N was amazed by how far apart the houses where, the trees in close proximity to the town, the pond off to the side, he had never been in the country before, only the Castle, Black City, and other highly populated places.

N walked towards the larger building and two girls came to view. One of them looked rather angry. She had a Pichu on her shoulder, and the smaller girl had an Oshawott. N remembered the days when Samurott was still just a little Oshawott. He was only 9 years old at the time and had called him "Osh-man". N made his way towards the girl, occasionally glancing around at the scenery. A concerned mother watching a child play with a Growlithe. An old ma rocking in a chair on a porch. When N got to the girls he looked at them both and smiled, studying them. He was particularly interested in the one that had snow white hair.

"Hello sweets." N said, grinning. "Is Professor Juniper in. I think she had some Pokemon she was going to let me liberate." N grabbed a Pokeball from his belt and tossed it in the air. Samurott bloomed out of it with a display of red light. "Gyouughhh!" He roared.

N laughed and pushed the girl with the Pichu aside. "I think we can let ourselves in, don't you Samurott?" He said, starting to open the door.

Leira immeditately put herself in front of the door. How dare this guy push her?! "What do you think you're doing?" she asked angerly. At the same time she was looking at the Pokemon that appeared. It reminded her of the Pokemon that the other girl owned. Maybe it was an evolvution of some sort? She'll have to find out.

"You know, last time I checked," Leira contiuned, "the word liberate means to set free, and I don't think anyone wants you to do that with their beloved Pokemon."

Sparki looks at the odd Pokemon, then takes a leap from Leira's shoulder to the Pokemon's back. "Pi!" she cried playfully.

Samurott, being the good-natured and friendly Pokemon it was, started to play with the Pichu. N laughed as the girl tried to block the doorway. "Why yes, it does, little girl. You seem to think you can stop me." N paused for a moment, studying her face closely. She seemed adamant with her descision. "You people take Pokemon and enslave them, forcing them to do battle for fun. Pokemon are pure creatures, who need to be freed. Don't you realize what you are doing?" N shed a single tear, for the hurt he may cause.

N reached back to his belt and grabbed a Pokeball, returning Samurott to it. "if you think you can stop me, so be it, but forgive me for the pain I may cause your Pokemon." HE extended his arm and sent out Metagross. "If you've ever been to Hoenn, then I'm sure you've seen this Pokemon. Isn't he beautiful? You can have the first move."

Leira held out her arm, and Sparki jumped onto it and raced up to her shoulder. "Yes, I've seen a Metagross before, and not just Hoenn. A lot of trainers use them."
Then she too pulls out a Pokeball, making sure it was the right one.
"Not all people use Pokemon just for battle. In fact, some Pokemon even enjoy fighting. I should know, for my Sparki-" she nods to the Pichu on her shoulder, "-hates to fight, but-" she thens sends out her Zangoose, "this one, a Zangoose, and his name is Zane, he loves to fight. He does it willingly and is very good."

"Well I hope that he also loves getting beaten!" N said. "Are your ready, because here I come! Metagross use your zen headbutt right now! Aim for his stomach!" Metagross' face glowed a deep purple, and that purple radiated throughout his body. He clenched up his legs close to his body and used his Psychic powers to fly through the air, gathering speed and rocketing towards the Zangoose.

"If your precious Zane is as strong as you claim he is, then this she be easy for him, no?" N asked.

"Well duh!" Leira replies, then waves her arm dramatically. "Zane, use dig!" The white and red-stripped Pokemon quickly uses his claws to dig underground, making the Metagross' move miss completely.
Leira smiles at her oppentent. "Zane doesn't get beaten often, but he's a good sport. Oh, and by the way, when I found Zane, he was battling a Metagross. And if you can't guess, he won without a scratch on him."

After a few moments, Leira smirks. By now Zane should have a system of tunnels dug for later use. "Zane, now!" Just a simple command, but from right out under the Metagross, the Zangoose pops up, ready for the attack.

White stood back as the two trainers battled. The boy with the green hair seemed to believe he was doing the right thing, trying to set Pokemon free, but also seemed to be pure, not likely harboring evil intentions like the team Galactic she had heard about from her Penn Pal. Now that she thought about it, the girl seemed awfully like her Penn Pal.
White glanced down as she felt something furry brush up against her leg. She nearly cried out in delight as she saw a shiny Pokemon. It had the likeness of a fox, with blue markings. It glowed for a moment, before becoming a Pidove. White blinked. The Pidove had the little fox's tail... She bent her knees and poked it's tail. The fox's illusion vanished. It chuckled.
"Hi!" it said, and White realized it was using focused Telepathy to talk to her; nobody else could hear. "I'm Zori, and I'm a Zorua. Do you want to be my friend?" White giggled at the odd Pokemon. "Sure, Zori." she said. How could she say no?
Zori ran around in a circle. "Yay!" Zori poked a button on the second Pokeball on White's belt, popping inside of it. 'Imagine, my second Pokemon the rare Zorua, and for it to be a shiny Pokemon too!' White thought excitedly, waiting for the Pokeball's button to turn off-white again. She pulled the Pokeball off her belt and pressed the button to let Zori out, not wanting to throw the Pokeball because of the battle going on. She heard a distinct "pwaah" as Osha let herself out of the Pokeball she had been hiding in, in order to walk up to perch on White's shoulder. Zori bounced around White, her blue colors sparkling like tiny diamonds were imbedded in them.

N was just about to yell at his Metagross to retaliate, when he heard the voice of a Pokemon. Metagross was slammed by the dig attack, and flew into the air. N's head swiveled towards the other girl. There was a Zorua down at her side talking to her. It must have been using telepathy, because it's voice was louder than a normal Pokemon's inner voice. Where did she find such a rare Pokemon? And how could she possibly confine such a rarity? But something was odd. N felt absolutely no evil intent from the girl, and the Pokemon actually seemed . . . happy. Odd. He must be imagining things.

"Oh shit!" He thought. He had completely forgot about Metagross while contemplating about the girl. Metagross was flying through the air, flipping around. "Metagross! Giga Impact, do it now!" N shouted. Metagross was enveloped with blue flames and became like a meteor, hurtling towards the Zangoose. This didn't look like an attack that would easily be dodged, but Metagross had taken a pretty big hit from that dig. Well, even if he lost here, there would still be plenty of chances to free the Pokemon later.

White smiled at the tiny fox. When Zori stopped bouncing around, White patted her on the head. Zori licked her hand. White smiled again, but it vanished when she heard the command given to the boy's Metagross. She knew what he was doing was wrong, but did not feel empowered to try to stop him. It seemed as though she could sense something different about the boy, that he was unlike other people. White couldn't put her finger on what it was, but she sensed an unusually strong bond with his Pokemon. They seemed willing to do whatever he asked of them, and gave thier hardest even when injured.
She realized the presence of another Pokemon was near. 'That's odd... Did I.. scent it?' she thought, confused. She looked at Zori, who was scanning the area intently now. The small fox was sniffing the air. '... Did I just feel what Zori is feeling?' White was confused, but not scared. She had had this feeling before, back when she used her mom's Liepard to battle. She would sometimes feel a powerful prensence, but nobody else had seemed to notice. Now, she saw a flash of cream and red in the grass. A pokemon with pointy ears, that was extremely fast. It paused for a mere instant, and she saw wings growing out of the back of it's legs. It had a human-like posture, standing and running upright. She felt like she had seen it before... But just like that, it was gone.
Then, an amazing sight. A Ditto!? 'How is there a Ditto here in Unova!?' she thought to herself, an instant before it transformed into a male Unfezant and soared away. Little did she know, she was destined to meet this Ditto again, but not until she was ready.
White shrugged it off, letting herself get reabsorbed into the battle. Osha seemed to be intent on the battle as well, as if it wanted to battle too. Osha would have to train a lot first, though. Both trainers were stronger than her by at least 30-50 levels, if not more. Unless, Zori was stronger than she let on.

Gigi Impact? Dang! "Zane, use Dig!" The Pokemon was just about to go underground when the Metagross hits him. It's fast! "Zane!" she calls out to her Pokemon. Zane had skidded on the ground close to her. "Are you okay?"
The Zangoose smiles at her and gets up. He looks back at her, giving her that one look, telling her that he's okay. Leira smiles back. "Okay, now, use Sunny Day, then go underground!"

The Zangoose uses Sunny Day, causing the heat to intensify, then uses Dig again and disppears into his network of tunnels.

((Hell no!!! Haha, it's your win if you want it btw.))

N raised his hand to his mouth and started to chew on his thumbnail. Metagross was in a tough spot, and he really didn't want to have to hurt him anymore. Metagross was one of his best friends and there was no way that N would let it get hurt any more than absolutely necessary. "Che," he grunted. Metagross wobbled on his feet and lumbered towards one of the holes. Then N got an idea. If this didn't work, well, nothing would. The rest of Metagross' attacks relied on him being able to slam into the opponent.

"Alright Metagross! Fire your strongest Hyper Beam into the hole!" Hopefully, the Hyper Beam would blast through the network and take out the Zangoose, wherever he was. Metagross steadied himself, and slammed his feet down. He opened his mouth and a great beam of orange burst from his mouth and rocketed into the hole. A massive explosion shook the whole ground lost his balance, only barely managing to stay upright. Smoke and dust filled the air. There was no sound. . . had he won?

Leira clenched her teeth. She always hated moves like Giga Impact and Hyper Beam, mainly because so many trainers overuse them. Besides, she always had a back up plan for moves that go into Zane's tunnel network.
Zane had excellent hearing, so whenever he heard the other trainer command a move to go into his tunnels, he would escape as soon as it happened, no matter where he was, just so he could not get hit.
This time, when that happened, he happened to be behind the Metagross, and dug up from behind it. Then without Leira telling him to, Zane went to use Fury Swipes on the Metagross, but instead, one of his claws glowed white, and he slammed it down from behind the Metagross.

Metagross took the full blunt of the Zangoose's hit, but managed to stay upright. N looked at him and knew that this was one battle he wouldn't be winning. N walked over to Metagross and patted him on his head, putting him back into his Pokeball. He looked at the Zangoose and then walked over to it, scratching it's head.

"I see." N said. "You are . . . different." N walked over ot the girl and looked her in the eyes. "But you will not win again. I will free the Pokemon, and nothing you can do will stop me. What is your name?"

"Yay Zane!" Leira cheered. "You finally learned Crush Claw! I'm so proud of you!"

When the mysterious youth came up to her, she narrowed her eyes at him. "I'm Leira Haley, a traveling assistant of Pro. Rowan's, and you are?"

"Why I," N said, staring the girl down. "Am N Harmonia. I am the Hero of the Unova Region. And I am destined to gain the favor of the legendary dragon Pokemon Zekrom to free all the Pokemon in the world. I may have lost this battle, but I will win this war." N chuckled and walked over to the other girl.

"And you are different, aren't you. You can hear them, the voices of the Pokemon." N kneel down and looked her in the eyes. "You have the potential to be a Hero. Together, we could free all the Pokemon in this world!" N stood up. "Won't you join me? Team Plasma will help you on your way to greatness!"

Leira glared at N. This guy was nuts. She couldn't let him influence the other girl, so she stood between them. "Hey, N, leave her alone will ya. You don't need to be spreading your craziness around. The world has enough of that."

N cleared his throat. "You dare stand before me? The king? The Hero?" He asked. N leaned in very close to her face. Just inches away. "There are two types of people in this world, my dear Leira. Those who are chosen, like me, and those who are not. Those who weren't will always be grabbing at the feet of the chosen. But it is impossible to climb up." N shook his head and sighed. "You are not among the chosen. But I like you, so I'll give you a chance to join me." He looked at her face for a long time, adn then did something on impulse, he kissed her cheek. "I'll be waiting for your answer. You and hers."

N jumped back and called out Thundurus. A huge lightning flashed as it started to rain from Thundurus. Thunder boomed. N leaned back and laughed into the sky. "Thundurus, King of the Sky!!! Let's ride!" And then N jumped on Thundurus' back and disappeared in an instant.

Leira rubbed her cheek where N had kissed her. As she turned around to the other girl, she sighed. "That guy is a lunatic. Don't listen to his nonsense."
Leira scratched Zane behind the ear, for he liked that, and pets Sparki on the head. Guys like that don't need to be running around, she thought. They'll make a mess of everything.

Thundurus landed in Nacrene city, just outside the battle subway. He walked over to the theme park and climbed onto one of the Ferris-wheel. He sighed, thinking back on the events that had just happened. Now that he thought about it, that girl was pretty cute. He hadn't had a lot of females in his life. For the most part it had just been him and his father, and all of team Plasma of course. No mother. No nanny. No babysitters. He had about as much experience dealing with women as he did dealing with brain surgery.

(So sorry about not posting for a while...)
(I'm using my phone which thankfully has a keyboard, but that's why this post may be short)

White mulled it over for a moment. She eventually figured it out. Zori hadn't been using telepathy, White thought, she had just been able to hear her. Now all the pieces fit. All those times she heard voices, were the voices of the Pokemon. White shrugged it off. "So, lei, we finally meet in person. I thought you seemed familiar! Its me, White!" She said, standing up. Zori promptly got off White's shoulder, walking up to Sparki. "Zoru! Zorua!" She said playfully, transforming into a pichu with a fulffy zorua tail. Zorua chuckled and started bouncing around. White looked to the sky, in the direction of N. She had taken a liking to him, but didn't quite want to admit it to herself yet.

Sparki gives out a happy "Pi!" and hops around the Zorua.

Leira looks at White. "White? My Pen Pal?" She smiles. "Sweet! What are the odds of us meeting together like this?"

She leans down at the Zorua and tries to get info on it from her Pokedex, but it wouldn't register it. She stands back up. "Darn, now I realize why Pro. Rowan told me to come here for an upgrade. I can't get anything with this old thing."

White smiled, "Yea, I know, right?" She turned her attention to the odd looking Pokedex. "Uh, yea, they look like this now..." she said, pulling out her brand new Pokedex.
