Pokémon: Dies Irae (Judgement Day)

0 INK

The Hoeen Legendary trio of Rayquaza, Kyogre, and Groundon has been unnaturally woken. And in their wake, the world sees mass destruction from both the beasts and nature itself. Everyone fears if something is not done, the world might be lost.

877 readers have visited Pokémon: Dies Irae (Judgement Day) since SamuraiMaster created it.

Introduction

The world has seen catastrophic battles between three titans of the world's domains.
It is said that the legendary titan Groundon created the land which we walk, and has the power to lower the sea levels.
It is said that the legendary titan Kyogre controls the oceans wrath, and has the ability to expand the oceans wide mass.
In the same way, it is said the legendary titan Rayquaza controls the sky's wrath, and is in charge of the weather we face. The sky is his haven and belongs to no one else.
If any of these titans went out in combat, nature's fury was shown.
Weather grew to the extreme, land was flooded in a matter of minutes, and earthquakes and volcanoes sent ash into the sky causing destruction everywhere.

Each time a battle ended, the world was left in a state of destruction. What were once beautiful forests had turned into barren wastelands of ash. The highest of mountains were beaten down into the earth. The sky would be black for months. It is also said that an entire ocean had dried up after a battle.

Mankind did not exist in these times of chaos.

Centuries have passed and the titans hae been in deep sleep. Mankind has civilized and knows of the titans. They know of the great battles that have taken place. Yong men grow up to be pokemon trainers, and help in the fight against those who threaten the peace of man.

However man is also evil, and evil also knows of the titans great power. And evil wishes to harness this awesome power...however...Evil is blind to the grave consequences of its actions...

The world has basically changed overnight. No one knew why at first, however after satellite images showed signs of great combat, the world has now known that the three titans have again awakened. But never before have all three awakened at the same time like this and wreaked so much destruction and devastation like this. Nature has seen the chaos and has become enraged at everything living. Nowhere is safe now. However a small band of trainers, each unique has banded together to form a team and solve the mystery on why this great catastrophe has occurred.

You are one of these trainers. You are to help put an end to this horrific combat. Failure is not an option. If failure happens...mankind will see judgment day upon them at a very early time. Everything on Earth will be wiped out. Something must be done...Good luck.

RULES:
-Basic RP Rules. Please honor them.
-If you want to play Pokémon Canon characters, you may do so, but if you do play as them, you may be expected to play them WELL.
-If you wish to be a member of an organization such as Team Rocket, Magma, or Aqua, you may do so, but note, the main group behind the whole wakin of the trio is rather small and I will be playing them most of the time. I will ask some people I believe know how to roleplay them well if I need help. The group will be revealed early in the RP.
-On your pokemon teams. I do not play by levels or the four move only rule. But don't go overpowering your team. I don't care how many time's Ash's pikachu has shocked rock pokemon, we will not overpower our teams please.
-Please be active. If you're going to be out of town, let us know at least a week in advance.
-Have some fun. This RP I made a few years back, and it's gotten some pretty decent people playing in it every time. So please feel free to be creative.

Travis and Gill ran. The rain was pouring and the air was rather hot. Travis was wondering why the storm struck as fast as it did...it was weird.

Travis knew he was in Hoenn, but had no idea what town he was headed in. There was a town up ahead, and he knew it. He was a wanderer of this area and knew the general locations of towns, but not always knew where he was going. It didn't matter. They ran through the gray mud.

Upon entering the town, they ran into the nearest pokemon center. Travis walked to the town map on the wall.
They were in Fallarbor Town.
That would explain the "gray" mud. The ash that fell here all the time covered the terrain.

The center was rather crowded with resting trainers, but that didn't worry Travis one bit. He walked with Gill over to the counter where Nurse Joy was tending.

"Excuse me, but could you do a quick check up on my team?"
Nurse Joy looked up and smiled. "Of course, sir."
Gill leapt off Travis' shoulder and onto the counter as Travis gave Nurse Joy his other 5 pokeballs.

Nurse Joy went to the back where she always did her check ups.
There was a group of trainers over in the corner watching the television. The group was quiet. Curious, Travis went over and watched the broadcast.

"...with our weekly forecast. Martin?"
"Thank you Allison, strange weather today I must say, and it doesn't look like it will let up. We got a large amount of rain in most of Hoenn tonight, particularly in Lavaridge. Lavaridge is on Flash Flood watch now. The week ahead is a little hard to predict actually, we were expecting high 80's tomorrow but with the sudden storm, we may be a little cooler, we'll just have to wait and see."
"Thanks, Martin. We'll be sure to keep our umbrellas handy. Cinnibar Island is still in ruin after a 8.9 earthquake rocked the island..."
Travis looked at the television in shock. The devastation aired was unbelievable.
"The quake struck very sudden, and there was little warning. Blaine's gym is known to have been destroyed in the quake, Blaine is alive. at least 8 people have died, and 43 have been injured, 15 in critical condition. The island's volcano shows no current state in erupting anytime soon.
"The earthquake of Cinnibar Island caused Pallet Town to go on Tsunami alert for most of the afternoon today."
Travis listened even more now. His home town had a Tsunami alert?
"The alert was lifted at 8:00 tonight, and Pallet is normal."

Travis went to the PC telephone and dialed his grandmother.

"Hello?" her voice was heard.
"Hey grandma, it's me."
"Oh, hi! How have you been doing?"
"I've been doing fine, but-"
"Where are you?"
Travis laughed. "I'm in Fallarbor Town. It's raining like crazy. But that's not what I called about, I heard about the Cinnibar quake."
"Oh, yes that was a little crazy."
"I just wanted to know if you are alright."
"Oh Travis, I'm completely fine. They evacuated Pallet for about an hour after we received the Tsunami alert."
"Right. Crazy day I guess."
"Well, yes I guess." she laughed.
"Hows life over there?"
"Normal as can be say for the alert earlier. Listen Travis, I'd love to chat more but I got something in the oven."
"Oh, sorry, I'm glad you're okay."
"It's nice to hear from you again, try to stay in touch more often."
Travis laughed and hung up.

"Sir?" Joy's voice said.
Travis turned, and walked to the counter.
"Here you go sir, they are fine."
"Thanks Joy. Take it easy."
"My pleasure sir."

The television rang out again.

"BREAKING NEWS FROM MT. SILVER!"
"Allison Crentley on this breaking news report from Mt. Silver, we have live footage aimed at what appears to be...Groundon...a legendary pokemon in a complete rampage...okay we're about to go live to Mt. Silver, in Jhoto, where Amanda is filming this rampaging pokemon."
An aerial view of Mt. Silver showed Groundon indeed in a complete rampage. Trainers around Travis started to murmur in awe.
"Amanda here, we do not know why Groundon has come here so far from it's home, but whatever it's doing, it doesn't look like it's gonna stop...Oh God...He's destroying a house down there, people are running away in complete panic...Oh God, he just fired a flamethrower at us!"

The Television showed the Groundon is absolute fury. Travis looked at the pokemon's face...it wasn't fury...it was...insanity?
Something wasn't right.
"Oh God, we better get out of here, Daniel, get us out of here!"
"Amanda are you there?"
"Daniel, faster, OH MY GOD OUR TAIL END IS ON FIRE!" DANIEL PULL UP! PULL-"
The screen went blank, and trainers erupted in talk.
"Amanda? Amanda? Are you there...oh God...we are just getting news from Slateport Town about a tidal wave that has flooded the city. Witnesses claim to have seen Kyogre, and Lavender Town has also seen sights of Rayquaza, and is currently experiencing a terrible hail storm...oh God...something's going on...we may be in trouble here at the studio, we are experiencing..."

Travis absorbed every moment, every word into his skull. Gill watched in awe. The ground began to shake.

The trainers panicked. Travis got under a doorway. He looked through the window...Mt Chimney was smoking...and erupting. It wasn't big, but it was erupting.

"Gill, something's going on. We gotta do something..."

The volcano erupted sending lava down it's slopes, but the lava cooled before it reached the foot of the mountain due to the rain.

The quake ceased. The lobby of the pokemon center was in ruins. The main street outside had a nasty fissure down the middle.

Travis reached for one of his pokeballs and sent it out. A pidgeot that had belonged to his grandfather appeared. It cawed in majesty.
"Aerials, I need you to fly me and Gill to Pallet Town fast. Very fast."

Travis got on with Gill and before they knew it, they were in the air.

" . . . "

Natalia stared at the TV screen grimly, watching the panicking reporters running around frantically.. skillfully dodging the massive flames the rampaging pokemon was blowing. She sighed and turned off the TV as the reporters abruptly disappeared from the screen. The static sound filled the silence."I wonder what caused it to snap like that.." she pondered. Natalia hesitated for a minute before standing and smiling not-so-optimistically."Well.. at least we don't have to go out there, right, Corrine?" she asked the small, cat-like figure comfortably lounging on her friend's pink bed sheets. Corrine was a Laefeon.. a grass-type pokemon who followed Natalia loyally to wherever she went. Corrine stood and gave an excited yelp. Natalia picked up the green pokemon and snuggled it close, its leafy tail hitting her waist. She struggled under the weight of the pokemon.. for he was already bigger than half her size. But that wasn't really an accomplishment since she was damn short anyway. Natalia gazed out the window into the howling wind and spitting rain. "Yeah.. We're definitely not going out there.." she muttered, gripping Corrine even closer to her.

Steps thundered up the stairs and the door burst open with a loud "BAM!" as it hit the wall. It probably left a dent there. Marie, my friend who has been so kind to let me stay in her home, was now panting heavily and staring at me with with wide eyes.
"NATALIA!" she shouted, stepping closer to small girl.
"What's up?" Natalia asked, nodding and grinning foolishly. Probably not the most appropriate thing to do and say. She frowned.
"I can't find Ash!" Marie sobbed once and then regained her composure. Ash is the nickname she gave to her Poochyena. He was named after a famous pokemon trainer. Original, right?
Before Natalia could even suggest anything, Marie began speaking in a hurry again.
"M-Maybe he went outside?!?! Could you find him for me?!?!! Oh, my poor baby... "
"You want me.. to go out.. in this weather?"
She stole a quick glance out the window.. one of the trees was falling down from the pressure of wind and rain. Damn.
"Yes, dammit!" she replied angrily.
"I'll die out there! And besides, we're not even supposed to go out!"
"GO!" she yelled, tears welling up in her eyes.

Corrine slipped through the narrow crevice just as Natalia was about to slam the door on his green tail. She sighed and unfolded the map Marie had given her. The house was just outside of a town.. Pallet Town. Wasn't that the town that had been evacuated? She narrowed her eyes and stared into the darkness. 30 seconds outside and already soaked through. "C'mon, Corrine." she beckoned the to the Laefeon as she ran along the slippery path. The girl stumbled and fell a countless number of times until she reached Pallet.

Natalia dodged the cracks and fallen trees that had fallen around the town. She had no idea where to find Ash. It was a hopeless mission. In the middle of Pallet Town, she took shelter under a tent-like roof a nearby shop and sat there, waiting for the missing Poochyena to come along.

Shiro sat calmly as the train hummed quietly along the tracks under the heavy rain. Wierd... Shiro thought. It was scorching in Goldenrod just two seconds ago... He thought nothing of it. He was more concerned about what Professor Oak could possibly want. From what he heard from Professor Elm, it sounded gravely serious. But he was busy with his own studies in his own lab. So he called up Shiro and had him go meet up with Professor Oak in his place. At least, that's what he said. He still couldn't understand why they simply communicate by video phone.

Suddenly there was a huge crack of thunder, coming from the direction of Johto. He couldn't tell where it was exactly, but it definitely surprised him and the other passengers. There was sudden chatter and panic in the train, as Shiro turned on the radio on his pokegear, hoping that maybe he could get an explanation.

"...storm! A thunder storm had hit Ecruteak city just two seconds ago! Weather forecast says it was sunny one second, then storm clouds quickly began forming and began to rain heavily, to the point of creating a flash flood! We have reports saying that the storm has caused a black out across the city!" The reporter was very frantic. "This just in! A fissure has struck the ashen village of Fallarbor town! Reports of similar and equally devastating catastrophes are flooding in to our station! It seems that disasters are occurring around the globe!"

This was ridiculous. What on earth was happening?

"Wait wait...I have just received word on the news team from Mt. Silver. It was confirmed that a Groudon was just there. It has seemed to have disappeared, and we have discovered the news team's helicopter...none...none have survived."

Shiro was listening with a grave look on his face. "G-Groudon...?!" He could feel his hands shake a bit. "But...Shou said...that he was a powerful pokemon dormant in the Hoenne region...why is it...in Johto?!" Shiro calmed down a bit. His brother, Shou, was out in the Sinnoh region and hadn't contacted him in a while. His mother was also on a trek of her own, with her archeology team, somewhere in Hoenne. Only his dad was at home, and he knew he could take care of himself. Shiro, assuring himself his family was fine, continued to listen.

"Kyogre and Rayquaza have also been sighted in Lavender town, and Slateport respectively." Now Shiro was worried. Slateport was in Sinnoh, where his mother was. He was about to call Elm and tell him he was catching the next train to Sinnoh immediately. He stopped himself. No...no your panicking again... Shiro looked up out the window with a grave look on his face. This...this may be what the professors were worried about...but even so...what did they need me for...?

When the train stopped, he woke up the Porygon-Z that was sleeping next to him, and got off the train into Saffron station. The heavy rain had come down in droves. "Let's go Porygon..." Shiro said gloomily. "Pallet town is a bit of a ways off..."

A wet nose gently shoved against her cheek and made an agitating yelping sound. Natalia lifted her head from her knees and stared at the Laefeon irritably. He panted eagerly and whacked her with his tail repeatedly, unconscious how much he was beggining to aggravate her. Corrine started whining and sat on his hind legs, begging her to leave her protective shelter against the raging storm. "Dammit, Corrine! Can't you see it's raining?" Natalia snapped at him, glaring at the pokemon. Corrine went silent and stared at her with loyal eyes. "Idiot.." She rolled her eyes and stared into the rain angrily. How long has it been since she came to sit here? 2 hours? 3 hours? Finding the missing pokemon was an almost impossible task.. it was likely the Poochyena was even in Pallet Town! At this sudden realization, Natalia glared into the sky furiously, hoping the rain and thunder would miraculously disappear. Her chances of getting back to Marie's place unharmed by the falling trees and knocking wind was very, very slim.

Corrine woke her from her silent worrying and barked at an ambiguous figure in the distance. "Hey- Wait!" Natalia called out to him as he sprinted away into the rain. By the time his silhouette faded from her sight, a frown was already permanently etched into her facial features. Why do these kinds of things only happen to her? She stood up reluctantly and followed Corrine's path into the darkness.

It was annoying to have to blink the rain out of her eyes every second.. but the raindrops relentlessly showered her, making it nearly impossible to see anything in front of her. Natalia blindly jogged along the streets, having no idea where she was heading to. Houses, the Pokemart, the Pokecenter.. everything had an abandoned look to it. Did the TV say something about an evacuation?

She stopped in front of a tree and realized she had no idea where she was. Trying hard to remember that paths she had taken, she had no luck trying to conjure her route. Given up and exasperated, she desperately hoped someone would come along soon. "Great. Hungry, tired, and lost." she muttered sarcastically. Not knowing what to do with herself, Natalia huddled under the tree and swept the area with her gaze, hoping to catch sight of Corrine.

Through the driving rain, Travis finally landed in Pallet. It wasn't as bad as he thought it would have been. In fact it seemed worse from where he started. But he had lived in Pallet most of his life. Perhaps he was just more accustomed to it than the average traveler. Gill at his side, Travis tried to get his location. He wasn't that far from Oak's place, but it wouldn't be any joy-walk that was for sure.

"Let's go Gill."

Gill, who loved the rain, walked by Travis. That was when some pokemon came running. It looked like an evolved form of an Eevee, a Leafeon to be exact. Travis was an expert in what pokemon lived where in Kanto, and Travis knew Leafeon were definitely NOT making their habitats around this area. Which meant it likely belonged to a trainer.

Travis tried stopping it. "Whoa whoa there, you lost or something, little guy?"

Shiro ran through the rain with his back pack over his head. He had gotten a ride from several cars who were on their way to different places, so the trip to Pallet from Saffron was shorter than expected, but he was still out in the rain longer than he cared for. But now that he got off, the rain made it harder to see. He ran through the town, hoping to run into the professor's lab soon, but he was running blind. He couldn't find anything.

His Porygon-Z was starting to whine a bit as well. "I know, sorry about that. Look, I know you don't like it, but you'll catch a cold this way. Return to your Pokeball." Porygon had shook his head in refusal. It had almost never been in it's pokeball, and it liked traveling with Shiro. "Don't argue with me alright?" Shiro said as he took out his pokeball and returned the pokemon. He continued to dash through the rain, hoping to catch something. He went to different houses, hoping to get directions to Oak's lab, but the rain made it impossible to navigate.

Eventually he saw a tree, and figured he'd take cover and get a better view from there. He ran up to the tree, and saw that there was already someone there. A girl, who was dressed in a blue vest, which he thought was completely inappropriate for this weather. But even though she was shivering, she looked like she was looking desperately for something. He ran under the tree, taking cover and attempting to dry off. "Hope you don't mind..." He said. Shiro saw that the girl was a little surprised by his appearance, but moreover she was incredibly worried. "Something wrong...?"

Corrine was currently sniffing the ground and air absent-mindedly in an attempt to track down his lost trainer. He had already doubled back to the shelter where she had stayed during the storm and found no signs of her. She must have ran into the storm after her.

He came upon an unusual scent of different presences; Corrine looked up in confusion and found himself looking upon another trainer and a squirtle. He crouched low and growled offensively at the other pokemon. The laefeon lunged forward and razor-sharp leaves where hurled at great speed directed at the water pokemon.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Natalia startled backwards as some guy in a green hoodie appeared out of nowhere and took shelter under the tree. She thumped her head against the tree with a loud "clank!" It took her a while to respond from the sudden dizziness and random appearance of the boy. She frowned at her lack of words. "Yeah.. sure, the more the merrier, right?" she grumbled moodily, rubbing the back of her head furiously. He asked her if something was wrong and she raised her eyebrows in slight surprise. How observant of him. "Worried? I guess you could say that." she replied absent-mindedly, wondering where her laefeon was and how he was faring against the terrible weather. "Actually, "worried" would be an understatement." Natalia thought, a smile appearing on her face as if she were enjoying her own private joke.

"See.. my laefeon ran away while I was hiding from the rain." she informed him sullenly as she scanned the far distance for a small, cat-like figure. "Well.. it's not like he could've gotten in too much trouble, right? I mean, it's not like, he's picking random fights with a random stranger or anything. No way!" She chuckled at the thought. Natalia spoke more to herself than the boy next to her for reassurances she knew were not true. Corrine wasn't the most sensible creature out there.

Surprisingly, the Leafeon attacked them. It leapt at Gill, claws extended. Travis thought quick, as he had to usually do. "Gill withdraw! Now!"

Gill immediatly went into the protective shell around it, as the Leafeon made it's attack and impacted with Gill. Gill's shell spun harmlessly in one space the the Leafeon went past it, Travis just narrowly missing the attack himself. "Gill came out of the shel with a rather frustrated look that said "What the hell was that for?"

"Gill, I think we got a hot-head here. Be ready for anything." Travis said to Gill, then spoke to the Leafeon. "We don't wish to harm or fight you. Please don't make me do it." Travis added the mental thought in his head. I'd rather not have to rush you to a pokemon center in this weather...

Sliding backwards in the wet dirt, Corrine spun around quickly to keep his opponent within sight. Puzzled as to why they weren't fighting back, he growled at them in a surprisingly menacing manner for his size. He could understand human speech to a certain extent and all the laefeon heard were scattered words such as "harm" and "fight". The full meanings of the sentences were lost and never registered in his mind; although he could tell from the trainer's tone that they meant no harm.

Although Corrine dared to come no nearer towards them, he sat on his hind legs and wagged his leafy tail eagerly, hoping for food. His lips pulled back in an attempt for a lop-sided smile.

Shiro looked at her, half listening. Geez...how could you lose track of your pokemon like that...He sighed as he sat down on the wet grass, and unzipped his bag. Thankfully, it was weather proof, so the laptop he had inside was dry and still functional. "I'm going to try something, hang on." He turned on the computer and attached a camera lens to it. "I usually use this in battles to analyze an opponent's stats. But I may be able to use this to track down your pokemon."

Though it was going to be a lot of trouble. Normally, this camera was able to see enough to catch a pokemon no matter fast it moved, even through rain and smog. But this downpour was horrific, as the camera could barely catch anything. He moved the lens around, scanning the area. The computer beeped. It caught something. "There's...a spike of energy coming from that direction." He said, pointing towards east. "Two spikes actually. What that means, is that your pokemon is fighting another one..." He worked through the data. "It seems...there's another person there as well...a trainer maybe."

This was odd. He didn't expect someone to try and fight the Leafeon unless...Team rocket...? It was improbable, as he had no clue why they would be here in Pallet, but he knew them. He wasn't willing to take chances. "Here, they're this way." He packed up his things again, and got up. "Follow me." He dashed out into the rain again. Eventually he could see a few silhouettes, two were obviously pokemon, and the person he saw picked up as well. At least from what he could tell, he wasn't dressed as Team Rocket.

"Eh?" Natalia blinked in confusion, but picked herself up to follow him anyway. She stopped behind him shortly, panting for breath. Then, noticing the laefeon and the guy in front of him, a look of annoyance flickered across her face and then disappeared as abruptly as it came. So he had gotten into a fight..

"Dammit, Corrine! Don't run off like that.. Jeez!" she scolded him angrily, crouching a bit. The pokemon simply smiled at her shamelessly and cocked his head to the side as if he didn't understand a word she was saying. Natalia frowned at Corrine's under reaction and sighed deeply. ".. At least act like you're sorry."

She glanced at Shiro. "Anywaaay.. thanks for your help. I'll make sure to keep a closer eye on him next time." she said, sounding grateful.

"Yeah. No problem." Shiro said, barely audible under the heavy storm. He took another look at the new stranger. Odd. What was he doing out here in this weather? Well, he couldn't ask that really. After all, he was running around door to door asking for directions. Maybe he was looking for something too? Like the girl was looking for her Leafeon. But, in the end, Shiro couldn't care less. He hadn't even noticed, but the pokeball he had on his right hip was shaking. "I need to ask you..." he asked to the strange man. But as he did, his Porygon-Z had burst out of his Pokeball, squealing. "Wh--" It looked a bit angry for being forced into it's Pokeball, when Shiro knew full well, it hated being in it. "What are you doing?!" Shiro on the other hand, did not like to be disobeyed like this. Especially when he was so worried for Porygon. But he knew fighting with his Porygon now wasn't going to help. The least he could do now was find shelter from the rain.

"Where is Oak's lab? I just got here, and with all this rain, I got a little lost." He turned his head slightly to Porygon. "We all need shelter from this downpour. Maybe you could point us in the right direction."

"Oak's lab? That's where I'm heading." Travis said. The rain was starting to let up, but it was still bad enough. "I'm just hoping he has the time to see us." Travis said with a small laugh. "But follow me, and I'll take you to the lab."

(Sorry for the small post, I'm in a rush)

With a nod, Shiro followed this new stranger under the rain. He looked back to see if the girl would follow, but decided to not think about it. Whether she wanted to come or not was her business. Right now he had some serious talking to do with the professor. He wanted answers. Just what was going on...

He followed the man and his Squirtle followed closely by Porygon. He noticed the rain was starting to ease up slightly, but still the ground was still flooded slightly. He was basically walking through one large puddle. His shoes were completely soaked, the water inside soaking his socks. It was horribly uncomfortable. Shiro also shivered a bit. He felt like he'd catch pneumonia if he stayed out here any longer. But the rain didn't seem to bother his Porygon that much.

Finally, after a ten minute walk through the rain, they had made it to a large building. It had a wind mill, big fences that encompassed the whole area, all perched atop a hill, so the flood didn't make it up there. Shiro watched in amazement. This was nothing like Elm's lab back in Johto. "So this...is the lab of Professor Oak..."

Travis led the small group to the famous labratory of Professor Oak. The rain had let down. Travis was soaking, but he didn't care anymore. He'd been in worse weather. And Pallet Town's rain, always seemed to be much different than other rain. It was rain Travis enjoyed.

"The one and only." Travis said with a smile. He however did not know if the professor would be available. Upon entry, there were aides, in a mad rush. The commotion was unlike anything Travis had ever seen in the lab before. He and Oak knew each other pretty well, but would Oak really have the time for them.

"Perhaps he's unavailable....."

"No..." Shiro replied to his new friend. "He has to be...he wouldn't have had Elm send me here otherwise..." He took off his jacket and tried to shake off as much water as he could. He was just soaked, from head to toe. Even his Porygon was shaking off all the water. Shiro hated the rain.

The aides seemed to be panicked about something. Well, a lot of people were at this point, but they were shouting, running around with computers and papers in their hands. When Shiro tried talking to one of them, they were just so busy, they didn't even notice him and were off elsewhere. He couldn't get anyone's attention.

He then noticed a younger man, with black hair and a bright green shirt, make his way through the madness, getting to the two trainers. "S-sorry about that..." He said. "We're just swamped here right now...my name's Tracy. Can I help you...?" He then noticed the taller trainer and exclaimed, "Travis! Boy, I haven't seen you in ages! You too Gill! How've you been?"

Travis smiled. "Hello, Tracey." Gill also smiled at the young Pokemon Watcher.

At the question, Travis looked around. "Well, for the most part, okay, staying low, and well at the moment..." Travis chuckled. "I heard about the Tsunami alert here, and basically came to make sure my grandmother was okay, and to see if I could be of any help, but I don't want to be in the way of whatever is going on."
