Introduction
High in the mountains, to the north of a city called Belhaven, there is located a lab. This lab is hidden inside the heart of the largest of these mountains, and it has been there for many years now. What goes on in this lab is a top secret of the government which has been labeled Project M. What this boils down to is a group of scientists preforming genetic experiments on death row criminals and volunteers of the military.
The goal of Project M is to create a kind of super soldier, a person with incredible powers that could be unstoppable. In the course of their research, scientists have found a dormant gene, present in all humans, that allows for genetic mutations to be tolerable. Before this discovery, many people used as experiments died after being tested.
Now that the ability to awaken this dormant gene has been found, mutants of all kinds have been created. It seems that every gene is unique to the person it belongs to, meaning that so far it has been impossible to be sure that powers the mutation may cause in a person. And because of this, a sub-program was established, called Project M2. The goal of this program was to take successfully mutated test subjects and try to extract their mutations and combine them with those of another.
It was this program, Project M2, that caused all the problems. One night, while they were running an experiment, combining the genes of several mutants into one man, a Private Joseph Cornell, something went very wrong. The genes combined correctly, but he was unable to control his new abilities. There was a huge explosion, which went unknown by the world thanks to the mountains all around them, but it was the radiation created by this man, given off in the explosion, that was the real problem.
This unique type of radiation affects the genes of normal humans, causing them to mutate naturally during puberty. All of the children born around the time of the explosion were affected, as well as those born later to the adults which had cause a dose of the radiation. And so, of the next few generations born, many would become mutants, though no one would know anything until around puberty.
-=-
Plot Basics-
An explosion at a secret base working on mutations in humans caused a wave of radiation to wash over the surrounding cities and towns. Belhaven was the closest, and so was affected the most. Children born afterward, and in the following years, would be mutants, though their powers would not come around till about age 13.
The secret lab is still there, and they are monitoring Belhaven. Sometimes people go missing, and it is because they were mutants, taken by the scientists at the lab. No one knows about all of this, however, only that mutants are real and in the city, and all over the world now. Some are good, but most are viewed as evil, a plague on the world.
You come in as one of these mutants. And you will have to deal with what is about to happen, which is that the government is about to step in, arrest all mutants, and put you away, where they will more than likely experiment on you or use you as a weapon to hunt down your own kind. You can be a regular mutant, or one from the military, or the secret lab. Good or bad is up to you.

Damn it all...another raid? Issac thinks, shaking his head slightly, as the men in uniform rush by him, through the hospital halls. That makes three times this week alone! You would think someone could do something about these guys...
They came in packs, it seemed, of around fifteen. Four would cover the entrances, the others would scour the hospital from top to bottom, checking every room to see if the person inside was a mutant. If he was correct, then someone has to be calling them, one of the doctors or nurses maybe, when they thought one of the patients was a mutant. But of course, there were so many different kinds of mutants, anything strange about a person was taken as a mutation by the paranoid people. Was the military really so desprate to capture all the mutants, even if they were already sick, maybe even dying? It made little sense to him, just so long as no one found out he was one of them.
"How long is this going to take?" one of the doctors asked the man in charge of the 'pack.'
"Not much longer. Just keep your pants on, my men are the best at what they do, so if there is a mutant anywhere within a mile of this place we'll find it." the military man responded, sounding very happy with himself.
From the way things were going, they were being very thorogh indeed. Already they had been at it for an hour, and were still on the first floor. Maybe there really was another mutant here this time. Looking some of the men over, however, Issac was sure some of them were also mutants, but of course he couldn't be sure about that.
"Excuse me," a voice calls from behind Issac. Turning he finds a man about a head shorter than himself, in a standard military uniform, except he wore dark sunglasses and a mask over the lower half of his face, hiding all but his nose. "Can you please show me some ID?"
The man asks kindly enough, but as Issac hands over his ID badge, his wrist is caught in a vice-like grip and then he finds himself on his belly, the air knocked out of his lungs, and his arms being bent behind his back.

Sam walked down the sidewalk from the store. She looked towards the hospital and saw the men march out of the trucks. She remebersthe day when her mother was takenn from her for suspiction of being a mutant. She had no hate towards them, but fear. She kept walking, not trying to look over there again. She couldn't really remeber why they took her or what she did to be suspected as a mutant, but she does remeber a few parts of her memory with blood, and a bunch of guys.
Before her mother had left, she gave Sam a long pole that she keeps hidden by her belt loops. It looked like a small stick, but she can re-atrack it and it would turn into an eletric stick of doom. She smiled and giggled to herself as she thought of the 'doom' part. Sam, being honest really dosen't know she is a mutant.I mean she acts like a human, smells, looks, and feels like a human, but in her 'mutant form' or her killer split-personality, she was like a demon.
Although, she dosen't really remeber much of any of this, she does have glimps of her past. Mostly filled with blood or people in pain. She can remeber all the way back till she was 14. Rest of it was a blurr. She kept walking, every so often stopping at a shops and window shopping.

It must have been sheer unluckiness that Demeter was in the hospital when a group of military agents entered. She was only here for one reason, and that was to visit the old man who worked at the car repair center. He’d been hit by a truck just the other day, and she’d been visiting almost every two hours. It was hard to see him in such a state, even when she knew he was eventually going to be alright. But for now, he wasn’t the one she had to worry about. Throughout the halls and rooms there were agents, eyes scrutinizing every patient.
As two men entered the room across the hall, the brunette took the opportunity to leave. She pecked a kiss to the man’s brow before quietly making her way from the room. If there hadn’t been another mutant in the room across the hall, Demeter might have made it out without trouble. She paused, watching as a short agent asked the guy for an ID, then suddenly flipped him to the ground. Enraged, she moved to help, but the second agent in the room was reaching for her before she could do anything. She found herself face down to the ground, arms uncomfortably folded behind her.
“Let me go!” Demeter demanded, feeling the crispness of her words on her tongue. Her captor’s grip on her arms seemed hesitant, and then after a moment he released her. She grunted as she pushed herself to her knees. “Dammit, look what you did, I’m going to have a bruise!” she whined, amber eyes flashing. “And you!” Her gaze darted to the man holding the white-haired guy. “Let him go!” There was another second of reluctance, and then he as well released the guy.

"Can't help but think this is overkill...I mean how many troops do they need in this place?" Lyda muttered as she made her way inside, slipping the rifle down form her shoulder and grasping hold of it loosely, watching the people within. Most of the men were clearly being far too overbearing and dramatic about the whole thing. If there was anything that dangerous around, all her would have broken loose...like the interesting incident in the church a few weeks before. Some rather unstable telekinetic had knocked the heads off about seven troops with a flying pew until someone had managed to get a decent wounding shot in. The town was an absolute chaotic nightmare, with the way the mutants tended to kick off. It was something close to all out war, and you had to be vigilant constantly, and it was thanks to that vigilance that she caught sight of something very odd going on.
Lieutenant Fox was only there to oversee things, to make sure everything went smoothly and as few old patients had heart attacks as possible, when she caught sight of something that was clearly wrong. Some small girl commanding a soldier around to let go of a rather peculiar looking young man. Soldiers were not supposed to just pander to the whims of every ransom wandering civilian...there was clearly something more going on there, and she was going to keep an eye on that. Whoever they were, they weren't exactly subtle.

Somewhere, out in the forest, a massive figure stood, motionless. But this was no average figure. It was an enormous machine. This machine stood out in the forest, without any movement. It took no action in doing anything. There weren't even any signs of life. This mech had once carried a very dangerous being, but this being hadn't moved in years. It had been this way for a long time... and that was about to change. A single mutant became too curious. It walked up, and kicked the huge machine. In the cockpit, its sole occupant opened his eyes... and the entire machine sprang to life. All systems powered up, and it shook off all the vines and plants that were growing on it. It lifted one of its massive feet and began walking forward, quickly scaring off the tiny mutant. It raised both arms and continued walking, shaking the very earth as it marched forward. Its destination? A town. Which town?
Well, I think that's obvious.
It grew nearer and nearer to its objective with every step, marching on towards its mystery mission. By this point, just about everyone in the entire town would be able to feel tremors, slowly growing in strength as the enormous machine drew ever-nearer. At about 2 miles, it was visible. At 1 mile, it was close enough to see its massive features. At precisely a half of a mile, it stopped. It just completely stopped, and ceased all movement. Its arms even fell back to its side. It was a mere half a mile away from the base, but it stopped. No shooting. No squishing people. No blowing up buildings. It just up and stopped.
(let me know if I need to edit this.)

"Ow! Hey!" Issac managed to get out seconds before he hit the floor. The short man, a mutant now that he could look up under his mask, was on him in an instant, about to place him in handcuffs. Suddenly though, there was a girl. At least he thought it must have been a girl by the voice, but as it was his face was against the floor, his shoulder aching, but he couldn't use his powers to fix it just yet. Then the girl spoke, and he was let go.
Sitting up Issac looks over to where the voice had come from and was a little suprised at what he saw. The girl could have been a model for all he knew, but he was also aware she must be some sort of mutant, otherwise the men would never have listened to her. Was her power psychic? Controling people's minds and bodies? Too early to be sure.
"Um...thanks, for whatever that was." Issac says, rotating his shoulder carefully, until there is a loud popping noise. Looking back to the man, he is about to ask what's going on, and why was he attacked, but then he notices a woman with a rifle, loosely aimmed in his direction. "This is a hospital! Are those really nessicary? Do we look like some kind of dangerous mutant?" He asks the woman, trying not to sound angry, but failing. Very slowly he begins to toughen his skin, and although there is no visual change, it grows tough enough that if he were shot the bullet wouldn't go as deep as it should, so he couldn't be mortally wounded. Not that it would matter much if he was.
Slowly he makes it to his feet and rubs his shoulder with his free hand. "Look, I'm a student at the local medical school, I work here as part of my education. I've been at it for a couple years, I think if I were a mutant someone would have known by now, wouldn't they?" He asks, smiling slightly, ready to, but hoping he won't have to, make a move against her or the other soldiers.

Lyda regarded the young man with her head tilted to a slight angle, regarding him appraisingly with her mismatched eyes. The indignation could be a sign of his innocence in the matter...on the other hand it could very easily be nothing but a smoke screen. If he was a mutant, at least he had the sense to be subtle about it.
"If I knew you were a dangerous mutant sir, I wouldn't be standing idly watching you, I'd be leveling my rifle here for a shot at one of your kneecaps." she replied flattly.
"Despite your current righteous indignation, I'm a soldier, and it is my job to be keeping an eye on everyone in this town, and I'm afraid you're just going to have to grin and bare it. Thing is about mutants, they could hang around society for years without too much trouble, so long as they don't do anything stupid and use thier powers where they can be seen. Then again, iof they're not using them, they're not our principle concern, as they're not too much of a danger to civilians. Reports are that there's a dangerous specimen around the area however, and we're not taking any chances when most of the folk here aren't in any state to run away. Identities aren't fool-proof in these situations, as some of them are able to steal the identities of others, give them a chance. So, we are supposed to be watching everyone, and that includes you sir. We've got a matter of public safety and you'll just have to put up with inconvenience."

Sam turned as she heard husseling in the hospital. Would it be alright if I just checked it out? She thought this before walking little near the hospital. She tapped on a soldier's shoulders. "Um, exuse me, whats going on?" She asked politely and nicely. The man had a dog, a big german shepered to be exact. It was trained to sniff out mutants. It sniffed her hand before taking intrest on the other two.
"Mutant suspicoins have been reported here." He said looking at her. She was, of coarse a little scared of them. SHe looked at the girl and the boy up by the hospital. "What are they going to do to the mutants if they find out they are here?" She asked nicely, ever so often looking at the two people introuble with police. "That is classified. Sorry mam." He said before walking off.
She took another step closer before stopping. Go Back. A spooky, horriable child's voice boomed in her head. She stopped, trembling. The officers looked at her. Go back now. It boomed again. She took a step back. She turned around and gripped her groceries. She stopped.

( sorry kind of crapy came up with it in a few seconds or mins ^_^)
Zach woke up with a slight headache. The only thing he could remeber from the day before was that he fell asleep behind a hospital. He had a rude awakening when a man dressed in a millitary outfit shook him awake." Get up, and come withe me." The man said. Zach was still half sleep so he didnt really process what the man said. Before Zach could reply, The man picked him up and threw a pair of handcuffs on his hands. He was forcefully pulled into the hospital and sat down in a one of the rooms.
When his eyes cleared up he saw a man getting into a little scruffle with the guards. The man was thrown to the floor, and so was a woman. They both struggled to break free, but as the woman said something they were instantly released." She might be an undercover millitary person." Zach thought. As the man stretched he caught attention to another preson that Zach couldnt see. Theman then began to shout about how he was innocent. " Well hes on the defencive side." Zach whispered. The millitary man that hand cuffed him came back and sat in a chair near Zach. " Sorry kid, its regulation." the man said as he watched the scene. Zach ignored his words a refocused his attention to the man and the woman.

"Hypersuasion. And you're welcome," Demeter replied flatly, rubbing her wrists, one eye closed slightly. She turned as the guy began to talk to someone, and she lept backwards when she noticed the woman had a gun. Jaw clenched, she groped at her pocket. She knew in at least one of her pockets she had a-- ahah! Her fighters tightened around a wrench that she'd been holding for when she got back to work. For now she didn't have time to draw her hidden dagger, so this would have to do.
As the guy tried to reason with the woman, the brunette couldn't help but notice that the woman's finger was tensing around the trigger. She blinked as she heard a click of a gun in the back of the room they were in. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed another man with a gun. Suddenly, Demeter reared back and in a neat throw the wrench launched into the man's head. The man let out a shout and dropped the gun after firing several shots at the roof. Grimacing, she stepped over to the man and crouched down beside his unconcious body. "Sorry, had to do it," she said to nobody in particular.
While picking through the man's pockets, she managed to grab an ID badge, a small hand-gun, and some small object she wasn't exactly sure what it was. Her amber eyes flickered up to the guy and as she stood she blew her bangs from her eyes. "If you want to keep these people safe, we might want to get out of here," she said, licking her lips with anticipation. "Either you can leave or join me in saving the innocent." With one glance at the woman with the gun, she stood.
Hoping the woman with the gun wouldn't shoot at her, Demeter took off in a light-stepped run past her and towards a group of armed men. She skidded to a halt several meters before them, hands up. Eyes glowing a dangerous golden, she moved, slamming her palms to the wall. The men, shouting and struggling, jolted to the side, heads bashing against the dry-wall. After several seconds, the brunette dropped her hands to her side, and the men fell to the ground.

"Well, that was pretty stupid." Lyda remarked, swinging her rifle up and levelling it at the form of Demeter.
"Considering you were only under observation and you ended up deciding to break cover and start making it clear you were a mutie. You could be walking out of here, and now you might well be crawling out at best."
She pushed the barrel downwards and pulled the trigger, aiming for one of Demeter's knees. She was ordered not to make kill shots unless she couldn't possibly do otherwise, one of the reasons why she hadn't called on her shapeshifting abilities...when that came out, things tended to get ripped to bits, even if she was trying to be gentle.

Zach and the man next to him ducked when the heard gun fire. While he had the chacne, he elbowed the man in the face knockin him out. " Sorry dude." He said while standing grabbing his walking staff with his handcuffed hands. Zach was getting ready to leave out of the room but peeked his head out to make sire everything was all clear. What he saw was nothing close to clear, a woman holding a rifle pointing at the lady he saw a few minuites ago, and the man was right in the middle of it.
He quickly pulled hiself back into the room, trying to not get in the middle of this." What the hell is going on here, why in a hospital." Zach thought while backed away from the door as quietly as possible." Of course you would think a hospital would be the safest place you could sleep behind and not be caught into a unusual sitiuation, btu then again anything is possible." He thought as he kneeled down next to the unconsious millitary man." Who would have thought it would be this easy to knock out a man from the millitary." He said as he took the pistol out form the mans hoster." Now, if i do get into this sitiuation ill be a little prepared." He said with pistol in hand.

Knowing it was coming, the brunette flung up a hand and, using a man who appeared to be partially conscious, forced him to dive in the way of the bullets. He shouted as they crashed into his thigh. "I don't like it when people die," she said slowly. Demeter turned as the woman spoke, stunning amber eyes narrowing. "Your people already knew I was a mutant," she said simply, putting up her hands once more as she spoke. "I was forced to work for you years ago, so if you were a smart old hag maybe you would have recognized me. And if you had, maybe you wouldn't have messed with me." Her eyes shifted to an odd, almost glowing golden shade as she put her power into effect. If it worked as the brunette wanted it to, the woman would be forced to drop her weapon and back off. If not... Demeter moved one of her raised hands to the side to put her power on the man she'd used before. He let out a startled yelp as he stood and hobbled to stand before her like a shield. "Would you really like to shoot at me again?" she dared, frowning. "I don't like it when people die, expecially ones who don't diserve it."
OOC Notes
Lyda chuckled as she tipped the rifle back, resting it against her shoulder.
"The insult 'old hag' might be better used against someone who's not clearly in their twenties. At this rate you'll be calling me fat next....the tough attitude is kinda wearing thin to be honest, and for someone who doesn't like people dying, you've sure hurt a lot of people here. I mean really. So far the military has hurt no-one her,e and you've wounded at least ten guys, possibly to the point that they'll have to leave the army and struggle to support their families. You know..this is what I really can't stand about mutant types. Real keen to play the martyr, but also real keen to hurt others without even thinking. Now. You have until the count of three to put your hands above you head, or you will be getting a nasty surprise. You can carry on talking big, or you can see how good you little eye trick works against that."

"You gotta talk big when you're small like me," Demeter replied, grinning a little, though her eyes flashed involuntarily. "And don't give me bullshit about these guys. I don't consider military agents people at all, not since they've hurt my kind like they have. They can go die for all I care. As long as everyone else is alright, so be it." She dropped the guy to the floor, arms crossing over her chest. "Now, why not just scurry along and go find someone else to fight with? It's clear I'm at a disadvantage. My, oh, excuse me.. My little eye tricks don't work on you, and part of me has to think that you don't respond to voice either. And since you have a gun, eh, maybe I do to, but since yours is a bigger gun, I've got nothing." She took out the pistol she'd taken, and then lazily dropped it to the ground. "Anywho, I should be going about now." She'd heard the footsteps of a larger group of military agents coming a couple minutes ago; stalling was the only plan she had. Demeter twisted her hands and tripped the group, then reached into her pocket and pulled out the electronic device she'd taken from the man she'd knocked out. With expert aim, the brunette launched the thing at the ceiling. When it hit, it stuck, and then seconds later, a large puff of green smoke burst into the hallway. Taking this as an advantage, she opened one of the windows and dove through out onto the lawn.

(since it seems nobody noticed this post, here it is again. Please let it be known that this 50-foot machine is there.)
Somewhere, out in the forest, a massive, 50-foot figure stood, motionless.

"Huh, selective morality, you don't see soldiers as people, and happily hurt them, but you expect them to treat you nicely, what a lovely sociopathic mindset you have." Lyda replied.
She guessed the eye trick wasn't working on her due to the odd internal structure she had, or maybe it was all the chemicals in her system. Either way she seemed to have scared the mutant off, as she caught sight of her flinging herself out of the window...looks like she wouldn't be shape shifting...well..not just yet. She turned, looking around in the chaos for any othet oddities or suspicious folk...and in honest there were more than a few.

Sam started to walk away. She kept walking untill she saw a huge machine-like thing by the edge of the town. She walked over to it. It was dead still. She tapped on it lightly. She then started to look around. "Hello? Anybody owns this big robot?" She said looking around. She wondered who it belonged to. Was it the soldiers? She thought this before looking at it. "Well, what ever it is... its pretty interesting.." She said to herself.
OOC Notes
When the female mutant who had helped him made her move, Issac just stepped back. There were too many people with guns in this place to start a fight, something she didn't seem to understand. As the shots went off, he could almost sense the elderly people in the floor above having heart attacks, and as plaster from the ceiling rained down around him, he took a few more steps back. Looking back he noticed the short mutant was gone, and the man who had brought the girl down was hurt pretty badly.
"Damnit..." He says quietly, kneeling down beside the injured man, ignoring the rest of the fighting as the two women argued and danced with one another in the background. "I hate you, but not enough to let you die...crap..." Slipping a hand into the man's uniform so that his palm rested against his chest, Issac used his powers to revive the man, and heal any major wounds.
This proved to be a bad idea. As soon as the man came too, he panicked and fired his rifle, which the brunette had left behind. Three shots rang out in quick succession, and one of them hit Issac in the left shoulder, knocking him back. Just like a normal human, the blood began to flow, and he let out a cry of pain. Had he been a normal person, the bullet would have passed through his shoulder, tearing at his bone and muscle, but with his earlier precaution set, his skin acted like armor, so the bullet was caught just against the bone in his shoulder.
"This is what I get for trying to help people...they barge into the hospital and I get shot...great..." He mutters as he leans back against the counter behind him and pretends to pass out from pain.
Quickly nurses move over to check and see if he is alright, how bad the wound is, and so on. One of them asks Lt. Fox if it's okay to take him upstairs and place him in a room to get a better look. Once he gets into the room, alone, he'll heal himself and jump out the window to escape all of this.

"That big robot happens to belong to me."
said a voice from seemingly nowhere. Then, a man who looked as though he was made of metal stepped out from behind one of its enormous feet. "Do you like it?" He asked the stranger. The man looked up at the robot and said, "It isn't my best work, but it comes in handy in a pinch." then looked back at this stranger. "My name is Dean. What's your name?" Dean asked. Dean's left eye was secretly scanning this stranger, coming up with all sorts of information, such as her height, any alterations in her genetic code, and any weapons she may be concealing. His eye flashed a nearly unnoticable light a couple of times while scanning, and he assumed this stranger would not notice.

Sam looked at him. Was it my mind... did his eyes flash? She thought for a second abefore ignoring the thought. She looked at him. "My name is Samantha... but people call me Sam. Nice to meet you Dean" She said looking at him. She smiled. "It looks cool, I will I could do that!" She said smiling. She looked at him. "Are you..." She started to begin to say something. "Oh... it's nothing."
Was he a mutant? She thought this for almost more than a couple of minutes before coming back to his attention. "What are you doing out here?" She asked. She gripped her grocery bags. Mutant. The creepy child's voice whispered in her head. She ignored it and it slowley faided.

Lyda, under prompting form one of the nurses, walked over to Isaac, couching to get a better look at the wound.
"Huh...he's got strong bones. Shot from a high powered rifle would take the arm off most." she mused. It all didn;;t add up too well, but not really enough for her to cause a fuss.
"Alrigh,t take him upstairs and keep an eye on him." she replied, getting to her feet and straightening up.
"Let me know if there's any significant change. I want to talk to him when he's back with us."

"Nice to meet you as well, Sam." Dean said in response to her saying it was nice to meet him. She told him how she wished she could make a mech, or at least, that's what he thought she was talking about. "Yeah, I guess you could say I'm... unique." She seemed to want to ask him a question, but then she stopped himself. His Iris turned a couple of times, and some notes flashed across his vision on her personality. He had gathered this data merely from the way she talked. She seemed to stare off into space for a minute, before asking him why he was out there. Dean thought about it for a second, before replying, "Well, I was just exploring around and I found this town, so I decided to take a look."
OOC Notes
Zach was still in the room with the unconsious man. " Well the comotion seemed to have come to a hault." Zach thought as he sliped the pistol into his pocket. Still handcuffed there wasnt much he could do. He could squiggle out of the window, but he might have hurt himself that way." Good thing this guy didnt think i was a threat because he wouldve handcuffed my hands behind my back." Zach whispered. Still not sure of what to do, he walked out of the room hoping that no one would pay any attention to him." Cmon almost there." He said as he neared the doorway to the front entrance.
OOC Notes
Sam smiled. "How cool. Well this town is being under constant watch by the military or goverment. One of the two. Hehe, I am not very good at that stuff." She said smiling. She looked at how his skin was grey. Everything about him was pretty grey... literatlly. Should I ask him? I mean what is he going to do if I do? She loooked at him for a second before taking an unnoticable deep breath.
"Are you a mutant?" She asked him. "Don't worry, I won't tell if you are." She said looking at him. He seemed friendly enough to be alright to ask, and she was scared half to death of the soldiers anyway.

Re: [OOC] Project M3
Thanks, otherwise Lyda might have had the shortest character lifespan in history. =P
Also thinking of bringing in my slightly unhinged little telekinetic Caddie, probably on the mutant side...if she can actually coherently decide on a side. Though I might wanna wait until a good time to drop her in.

Re: [OOC] Project M3
okay, so i now have 3 characters. Issac/Medic is my main character, while Claws and Judgment are the two main baddies. Claws is basically a mad man out to destroy anyone who isn't a mutant, as well as anyone involved with the military. Judgment, his real name Joseph Cornell, is the one who started it all. He is a tool for the military, and the main force behind Project M3, a unit of the military who goes out to hunt down mutants
i didn't post as them yet because they won't be coming into the story right away, but both are fairly well known
