Description

Liam Samuel Hugher is originally from the planet Piety. Those familiar with the planet will automatically know that the planet is far from a religious place (quite the opposite) and that the planet is one of the Imperium's most corrupt; Liam being a Pietier shows no difference, on his eft arm he has a tattoo that goes from his wrist and att the way up to his shoulder, showing his rank within the gang that he was once a member of. For those who are familiar with gangs will understand that the tattoos on his lower arm represent his time when he was a 'soldier' for the gang, and from the elbow to his shoulder it is a variety of drugs, skulls, and fire, which represents his speciality.

Liam doesn't stand impressively tall. He is a mere 182 cm (5 feet, 9 inches) tall, however he has broad shoulders with strong arms. Overall Liam is very muscular in in good shape. Whenever his naked body is exposed, scars from gang wars and bar fights can be seen and they are usually accompanied by ridiculous tales of how Liam got them (often involving Liam against twenty thugs and then somewhere there was an ork...).

Liam does not shy from opening his mouth to state his opinion. He has done it more than once to his own master, and he also mixes in attitude problems. He is surely not a religious man, and although he admits the God-Emperor exists, he does doubt that his "Hand guides me though my miserable life."

Liam is seen wearing typical dark clothes, much like other Inquisitors. He wears a leather jackets, a black T-shirt, dark pants followed by Imperial Guard boots, reason? He likes the boots.

Personality

Although his attitude and lack of faith in the God-Emperor has often gotten Liam into trouble, he is a very cunning character. He knows how to hunt down specific people, and is an excellent marksman, thus he knows how to make use of his environment to be able to take the perfect shot.
He hides his street smartness behind a cocky attitude for as a Pietier he was raised on the streets and thus he knows how to get around when it comes to survival in the city. He shows respect for the Adeptus Astartes, though he has never had any real interaction with them, it is better than his typical irritating attitude that he shows to other humans.

Liam has a basic understanding of military tactics, however the majority of his experience are drawn from gang wars and one of his first Inquisitorial missions which ended with a whole planet being in civil war (the more people that asks how it happened, the different the answer becomes).

Like any other man from a Hive World, Liam is very uncomfortable when he is out in the open. He is certain that there are planets where the gravity is backwards, and that people "fall into the sky". He has no sense of safety whenever he is within a forest and jungles are on the borderline of his vision of what hell must be like.

Equipment

Aside from his clothes, Liam is armed with a duel laspistols, a dagger and a hunting rifle that is equipped with 'essential' assassin equipment, most notably a long ranged scope, and a silencer.

Liam is experienced with both stub weapons and las weapons, however when it comes to fighting hand to hand, he is used to brawling and thus doen't have much experience in fighting. He stabs like a thug and fights like a drunkard, he kicks and hits with little aim.

History

Liam is 35 years old. He was born in Piety and raised inside a gang called "Bronxer Street". He was a part of the gang from the moment he was born and when he learned to walk and talk, he became a small drug dealer, and the older he became, the closer to soldier he became. When he turned 14, he was considered for a man and was tested by the gang, he had to kill anyone from an opposing gang, using only a knife; Liam managed to get inside the home of the opponent and tried to stab him while he slept, however it didn't work as he had planned and the silent kill turned into a loud fight between Liam and his target.

Liam returned to his gang, bloody, beaten and bruised, but he had killed the man. After that he was given his first tattoo. He continued to fight for the gang, protect their territory and be the bodyguards for the gang's representatives; with the years he rose in rank amongst the soldiers and received more and more tattoos to show his rank and involvement with the gang, and once day he was given the assignment of assassinating a local law enforcer that had stepped on a Gang Lord's "toes".
Using a rifle and a scope, Liam spend half a day in the shadows, waiting for the perfect shot outside the law enforcer's home. When it came, he shot the man in the head, right in front of the man's family and children. After that event he began to take in more assassination jobs, smuggling of drugs and organs.

The actions of the gang began to reach the attention of other high gangs, and soon conflict between rival gangs erupted into full scale street war. During the time of anarchy through the lower sections of Piety, Liam worked again as an assassin, getting rid of rival bosses, kidnapping and executing rival gangers, however the more he he killed the more hated he became. Soon massive bounties were on Liam's head and that attracted too much attention for Bronxer Street's liking. They had Liam smuggled out of the planet and over to a neighboring planet for refuge.

Liam had barely left the ship before he found himself surrounded by Arbitrators and beaten unconscious. He woke up, tied to a stool and in front of a man who were reading, "This is a very rich history you have here, Mr. Hugher. The list goes on and on about you and your little ganger actions. Oh look here, your first official assassination was on a law enforcer. How convenient."
"What do you want?" Liam asked.
"You," the man answered bluntly, "You appear to know how to get around in hive cities and get rid of problems. I have a lot of problems, and I'd be willing to hire you for a while."
"What's the pay?"
"You won't go to prison. I have the power to throw you on a Penal World, and trust me...Where you would go, they are all worse than you," the man smiled slyly and Liam felt no other choice than to accept.

His first mission for the Inquisition (though he wasn't aware that he was an acolyte of the Inquisition back then), was to investigate the actions of a governor of a planet a few light years away. He worked together with a team of acolytes, and they uncovered that.... >>> Error <<<
