Rules
This is a more light-hearted and comedic oriented roleplay, though I'd still like to balance the humorous elements against serious character and story developments.
A couple setting notes: This is pretty open fantasy world, so feel free to be creative. You are encouraged to rip off whatever suits your fancy. Technology level should stay in general a pre-Rennaisance level, except for the occasional rarity/oddity of the advanced clockwork variety (i.e. the kind of advanced technology you'd expect in a fantasy story).
CHARACTER CREATION GUIDELINES
For this I decided to make the character creation skeleton a short application/interview form to be written in-character. This should be sufficient enough to illustrate your character without needing you to go too in-depth to personality and history if you'd rather flesh that out in the roleplay. The only other thing is put a brief physical description afterwards, especially if you don't have a picture, just so people can better visualize your character.
As far as races go, be whatever you want. Make up a race if you want. If we have two elves or vampires that are totally different that'll just make it even more delightfully weird. We'll have fun handwaving it.
As far as powers go, you're heroes so it's acceptable for you to be a cut above the rest (but by no means mandatory). Stuff like Epic Level D&D spellcasting and skill is fine, as is things you'd find in real world mythology (up to a limit). I'll let you know if there's a problem.
You are not required to detail your characters down to very last fiber, but I'd expect you have a solid conception of them in your own mind. I won't require you to submit anything beyond the above application. We can handle any such details later or in OOC if they come up.
POSTING GUIDELINES
1. Post Length: One liners are tolerated so long as they are quality one liners. Longer posts must adhere to a three pun per paragraph minimum.
2. Okay, just kidding on that last one. But this is definitely a lighter toned roleplay, so make sure to bring along your sense of humor.
Other than that I shouldn't have to tell you how to behave yourselves.

OOC Notes
Oh yeah, free advertising. He chuckled, taking a swig out of his sweet, sweet elixir. It really was a shame that there weren't that many people who appreciated the beauty of booze. Come to think of it, didn't that one chick, Lyra Something-or-other drink too? He should go drinking with her sometime; she seemed like a fun drinking buddy. She also seemed like she'd have some hilarious stories to tell, judging by his tingling nipples.
Clark belched, and started focusing on the empty space in his right palm. In but a few moments, a small, steaming, metal ball formed in his hand, and he threw it across the empty room.
*CRASH!*
He sighed.
"DAMMIT, I'M LONELY!" Clark bellowed to the empty lounge.

Georgina dropped her gold coin bag on top of the bar and demanded the bar maid for a chug, "One order and fast." She was a female but any man or men would think twice before messing around with her.
"Tough day?" Eliza the bar maid asked and chuckled. She was used to Georgina's mood swings.
Her pretty face scowled and let out a grunt as an answer.
"Here, first one's on the house"
"Thanks. At least that's the first good news for the day," Georgina finally spoke long enough.
"Here. You might be interested," Eliza handed her a large ad with a wanted sign on it.
"I work alone," she then finished her alcohol with one gulp.
"But you need more gold to make sure your plans work out," Her friend answered while wiping the other beer mugs.
"Yeah but I can find other ways to do it,"
"But this one give the biggest pay off. In no time you'd have more money. Besides, kicking ass has never been a problem for you George," Eliza called her fondly of her nickname.
It made her think about the possibilities if she did apply to be one of the "heroes" or whatever they want to call it. She stood up and headed towards wherever it was they needed heroes. Signed up the paper they made her fill up.
There were a lot of people but she doubt they were made to be really tough for killing.
OOC Notes
After he went through the interview and filled out the sheet he lazily placed himself on a very comfortable seat, that happened to just appear out of nothingness. He seated himself next to a young woman, who seemed to arrive just before himself. Waiting was one of the worst things these mortals invented, if only the deities of creation would have thought about that before. With a wink of his hand, he held a thin glass full of an exotic looking drink, a mix of various fruits that grew in a country far away. People around him looked at him angrily or surprised, those that waited weren't supposed to show-off or cast magic out of good manners. Ren could care less about these foolish mortals and their rules, at least to what he thought now. He looked over to the side, at the young woman next to him. She seemed to have that otherworldly touch, that he had perceived in fey or elves every now and than. He grinned while speaking to her.
"Oh... what a pleasant sight. What might be your name?"
OOC Notes
Georgina was busy polishing her blade as she waits to be called when a man, in what appears to be a white Greek robe, asked her.
She eyed him evil-y and smirked, "I have no time for foolishness mister." She eyed the end of her weapon's blade where she can see everyone's reflection. A lot of the others were threatened by her presence while most of them were obviously afraid.
"Why don't you just skip in the gardens with your wine my friend," She stood up and playfully tapped Ren's shoulder heavily. For a fragile looking woman. Georgina has a strong and heavy grip, sometimes heavier than a full grown man. This caused Ren's drink to spill.
"Sorry about that," She walked off to the open area, solicited (or forcefully requested) an herbal tobacco from a puny man who was shaking while handing her a roll.
A loud cry from a huge bird was heard then a black Falcon suddenly landed on her shoulder. Georgina grabbed some seeds from one of her make-shift pockets and fed her friend.

@lovechanningforever: Before you ask, yes Ren is supposed to be an arrogant fool. If you want to slap him or something, go ahead.

I just have to compare it to the classical heroic deeds in fantasy.
Quest: Slay the evil Dragon.
Group Replies:
"YEAH! Let's bathe in his blood"
"Mh... let's steal all his gold and get out of there."
"Is he holding a busty princess captured?"
"Nah, I heard there is no tavern close by... I'll stay here."
We have healers... sort of... Lyra (the angel) is one, and to an extend also Ren. In DnD terms you could view him as multiclass Bard/Cleric, even though the second half of his powers fails him occasionally.^^
Re: [OOC] Quest For Epic
Although I do hope that there's at least one medic. From the looks of things, they're all going to need one.
Re: [OOC] Quest For Epic
Anyway, I prefer to look at them as "anti-heroes" rather than sad excuses for heroes. XD
Re: [OOC] Quest For Epic
There are only two or three serious monster hunters.
