Introduction
Welcome to Aldrazill, a medieval fantasy land only recently discovered revealing such icons as castles, dragons, mythical creatures, knights, horses, peasants, the whole 'package' so to speak. You are one of many heroes who roam this mythical land in search of glory or revenge, praise or gold, peace or chaos. Its your choice. All the while, you are given quests to power yourself and to build up reputation and skills. Throughout your adventures, you'll find creatures beyond the normal "danger" level, kings who will demand a bit too much of you, and peasants who argue shop prices or seek your talents in revenge. Of course, you'll find fellow heroes to befriend or hold grudges against. It's your life, it's your quest. Go forth, Quest Hero!

RACES

PURITY
All heroes have their opinions of things. And each hero has their motives in life. These reflect their purity. There are 2 extremes for purity: good and evil. Whether your an angel on earth, or a demon from hell, purity makes all the difference. With purity, you can persuade buyers to lower prices or raise them. Purity can also unlock certain skills and quests.
GUILDS
Guilds can be created by any hero. Rules say that you must at least be level 20 and pay 500,000 gold to start a guild. if you have these requirements, message Nemeth09 with the guild name and a small image for Guild Crest.
WARRIOR
Yes, we know what your thinking....."Die evil goblin!!!" That's pretty much what warriors are for. They specialize with swords and shields. Their main skill focus is on attack power and strength. They are able to wield up to Mail armor. Good professions for this class would be Blacksmithing and Mining.
PALADIN
Is it a warrior? Nope, its a warrior who has dedication to the light. Paladins can deal holy damage to their foes and use spells to protect and heal the rewarding, and smite and dismantle the unjust. Their main focus is on strength and intellect.
PRIEST
The healers of the heroes, Priests. This brand of hero can specialize in 2 methods of holy damage: Holy and Unholy. Either way, priests shall smite thee!!!
MAGE
Fire and ice, which to pick? As a mage, there is 3 major types of magic a mage can use: arcane, fire, and ice. Mages specialize in ranged attacks and use mainly staves and wands. Good professions for mages include enchanting, tailoring, alchemy, herblore, or inscription.
WARLOCK
Chaos is your true calling if you select the Warlock class. Death, destruction, your true purpose is to make other people's lives hell. Warlocks share the same weaponry and armor as mages, but specialize more in demonology, shadow magic, and curses.
ROGUE
Well, aren't we a bunch of sneaky little thieves. Rogues specialize in assassination-type quests and attacks. They also are the more law-breaking type and steal. The rogue is more proficient in daggers and wears leather. Good professions for rogues would be skinning and leatherworking.
DRUID
Druids are the kind of class that focuses on the balance of nature and along with this is the ability to take on the form of the creatures of nature. Druids are proficient in staves and wear cloth. Good professions to accompany the druid with are tailoring, skinning, leatherworking, herblore, or alchemy.

Jace woke up to a bright sunrise screaming "Wake up!" right in his face. For a frost mage, he really did seem to enjoy the warmth of the sun on his cheek as he got out of bed. He was expected to visit his elven friend Corie today. As he walked outside his home in Aldrazill, he was welcomed by the local merchant, trying to sell him new staffs and spellbooks. "Sorry, I have enough stuff as it is" Jace calmly pointed out to the dealer as he slowly brisked away into the city. His black, blue, and white robes glided across the floor as Jace traversed Aldrazill, following the direcitons Corie gave him. He was supposed to meet her at the park which was east of town square. Jace never exactly bothered to ever go there. He spent most of his days in the wizard's tower over in the magic alley. While travelling, he noticed one of the stalls had a tiny fire on it.....nothing major, but it still could get out of hand easily. With a simple raise of his hand, Jace cast his familiar Icebolt. Even though it was only Rank 1, it was enough to quench the fire. "Easy enough...." he murmered to himself and pressed onward. He had a few more friends that he met recently, but none he has heard from about seeing each other or hanging out. This, however, struck Jace as odd as to why Corie, out of all of them, invited Jace to spend time with her. He finally arrived at the entrance to the park. As he walked in, he noticed a familiar elf by the trees, spending time watching the birds and admiring nature. With that, Jace advanced to speak to her.
OOC Notes
Corie pulled a leaf from her hair, flicking it away onto the ground as she stared into the sky, where the branches overhead made a shady cover over her. It was still a bit early, though the sun was out, but she had gotten up about an hour before this. She was expecting a friend to come visit; soon. But for now, her other friends were here.
Several little birds were on her shoulder, and showing off by flying loop-the-loops and fancy patterns around her. Smiling and stroking one, she turned her attention to a slight disturbance in the leafy ground. At first, it appeared to be just a squirrel or small creature of some sort .. She cranes her neck to continue looking into the shadow behind the tree when she felt all the small birds suddenly shoot away in different directions.
Knowing it was one of her friends approaching, she continued on as is he wasn't there for a minute, then turned around.
"Hello, Jace. Good to see you .. On time, for once." She smiled teasingly.
The park was her favorite place. Often being in a city and not in a forest made her uncomfortable and her already weak magic suffered as well. In the park, though, it did have that spark of life that made studying here worthwhile. Anyway, it was good training for circumstances such as battling an enemy in a high tower, far off from any plants or animals to give her strength.
Realizing her mind was drifting (as it usually did) she snapped her attention back to Jace and waited for his reply.

Early morning, and Dean was already out of bed and running around. This was usual, considering this happened almost every day. It was that, and tinkering, building, fixing, ect. Grinding gears, pulling cranks, hooking up a steam engine here, operating controls there. As an iron monger, that's what he did. At the moment, he was working hard to bring a special device operational. He had been working on this device for a while, and he wanted to show it off to the others. At the moment, he was working in his usual spot: his workshop. The device was designed to be a gauntlet. However, this was not to be any ordinary gauntlet. This was going to be a gauntlet that could intensify the rays of light given off by the sun, transforming them into a powerful beam, which would be launched from the palm of the device.
One more twist... Dean thought to himself. He grabbed his wrench and tightened one last bolt, then looked over his invention. Perfect. I should show my friends! Even though it would be a good idea to test it in his workshop, he never tested things without his friends. So, he grabbed a small wagon he built, and put the gauntlet in it. He also put in a large chunk of metal. This was for the test. He guessed they were going to be in the park, since he had gotten word that they were talking about it the day before, so he pulled his wagon to the park, and looked for them.
Upon spotting Corie and Jace, he waved, yelling, "Hi guys!" and ran over to them. He was very eager to show them what he had just invented. Now, he knew that, most of the time, his friends weren't very interested in his inventions. He sometimes questioned if they even enjoyed his company. However, that never stopped him. He was persistant, and wouldn't give up until he made it work. Even if it took him months at a time, he would continue working to make his dream a reality.

Jace sighed softly. "Still spending time with the birds, huh? I swear, you'll probably end up spending time with them than me" he said jokingly to Corie as he embraced her in a hug. His eyes then came focused on Dean. Him and Dean became acquainted the night before while at town square. Jace vaguely remembers him speaking of some vision of a device Dean was hoping to create. Seeing the wagon in his possession, he could easily tell something was up. "Well Dean, nice to see you again. I take it you have some progress to show us." Jace noted to Dean as he approached him and Corie. As he waited for Jace to explain his creative project, Jace carefully drifted a leaf off of Corie's head.

Corie just smiled and watched as Dean approached them with a wagon. She wasn't really into mechanics or anything like that, but it was very interesting indeed that people could make things like that.

Smiling broadly, Dean reached into his wagon, and pulled out the gauntlet. He showed it to them and said, "May I present to you, the Blast Gauntlet! It takes the natural rays of the sun and focuses them, then shoots them out in a concentrated beam! Watch..." He put it on his hand, and aimed out to an open space. The device began to whirr and buzz, and some steam began coming out in small bursts. The opening in the palm began to glow, and shortly afterward, began to spark. Suddenly, it all stopped. "Hey, what went wrong?" Dean asked. He whacked it a couple of times. "Well, looks like it doesn't work. Sor-" was all he managed to say before the device exploded viciously. Dean was sent flying, and smacked into a nearby tree. He slid to the ground and said, "Ouch..."

Corie watched with mild interest as he took out his invention and was pretty impressed. "I see, so it's s-"
Then it stopped working, and in the end exploded. Dean was shot backwards like a cannon would've, and she blinked in shock.
"Oh.. Dean! You okay?" she darted over to him and offered a hand. "It backfired, hm? You may want to tighten the bolt on the left. It probably didn't work because some of the parts weren't connected properly due to the part the bolt- Nevermind." She silenced her ramblings. She didn't know what the heck she was talking about, it was probably all wrong anyway. She wasn't very good with that kind of thing.
Behind them, the brave birds were flying down and picking metal pieces off the ground, putting them in a neat pile nearby.

Accepting Corie's help, Dean got to his feet. "I'm alright." He said. In reality, his right shoulder was hurting pretty bad. "I was sure I had everything in order... what could've gone wrong?" Upon hearing Corie's rambling, he began to think. A smile came across his face, and he said, "You know, Corie, you might have a future in engineering." With that, he went and shooed away the birds, then grabbed all the little metal pieces. He placed the metal pieces into his wagon, and went running off. He had more work to do.

Jace just stood there and watched as the device backfired and watched as Dean picked up the remains and ran off. "Well, he's determined, you can give him that" he replied, also not mentioning the fact that he noticed Corie blushing earlier. "Anyway Corie, I picked up something for you on my way over. I thought you might like it" Jace mentioned to her as he pulled out a necklace from his pocket with a glowing emerald in it. It was an Enchanted Emerald Necklace. Jace recently enchanted it with the ability to form a protective shield around the person wearing it. "I figured it would help keep you safe in times of danger" he said as he placed the necklace around her neck.
OOC Notes
Corie's birds fluttered away when Dean sent them off, and she just stood there. It was unlikely that she'd ever become an engineer. Give her a baby bird any day.
It was then that Jace began talking and she turned to him. "A necklace?" he explained what it was, and placed it around her neck. She immediately lifted her hand to grasp the emerald, thoughts floating through her mind.
"Interesting. And thank you very much ... I hope you didn't go out of your way for it." She smiled, and thankfully didn't blush again.

Jace thought back at all the work he did to attain such a rare item. "Nah, it was nothing" he spoke suddenly, best keeping the truth behind. Jace followed that by a slight yawn, looking over at Corie, expecting her to give him a joking lecture about getting sleep. Jace spent the last 3 nights studying his frost magic books to increase his skills and further his abilities. He didn't want to mention this to her, guessing she'd get upset at his lack of sleep over studying. He wanted to go study some more, but for some reason, he found it relaxing spending time with Corie. Wait, not like that he thought to himself. I don't think of Corie like that, she's just a friend. Plus, I spent 3 days studying. I deserve to hang out with a friend Jace decided to lay down on the grass under the tree and a tiny leaf landed on his nose.
OOC Notes
Corie was just about to remark on how he looked so tired, but held her tongue and instead just watched as he lay down under a tree, looking pretty comfortable, and Corie hesitated to join him. Sure, they were friends, but if someone were to walk up, they would get the wrong idea.
So instead she took a running start at the tree, leaping over Nemeth, who so amusingly had a leaf on his nose, and grabbed for a tree branch that hung low.
Using her earlier momentum to swing upwards, she let go from the branch and reached for another, and in one smooth movement she swung her legs up, bent her arms, and pushed herself up so she was in a crouch on top of the thick tree branch. Her climbing had knocked several dozen leaves from their fragile grasp of the tree, and in a flurry of color they floated to the ground. Jace was down below .. Surely he would have a blanket of leaves by now.
Grinning, she made herself a bit more comfortable on the branch and closed her eyes, enjoying the slight breeze on her face.

Meanwhile, back in his workshop, Dean had all the pieces from his device on a table, and next to them, blueprints. Lots of blueprints. He had all sorts of tools out, ranging from pencils to powertools. He was resketching designs, configuring layouts, adding up the math, and just generally recreating his project. Only this time, it would work. He had just finished remodeling the basic layout when he realized a fatal flaw. There were two disconnected pieces, both of which were hooked to a nut on the left. So, upon discovering this, he went to work. First, he scrapped all the pieces of metal from the device, and recycled them. He then got to work, building, twisting, shaping, adjusting, ect. This time, it will work. He thought to himself as he worked.
OOC Notes
Jace definitely expected such an act from Corie. She obviously didn't want people getting the wrong idea, just as Jace had the same thought. He more than willingly let her relax up in the trees.....until she ended up showering him with leaves, which hid his entire body and face. Blowing the leaves off his face, he looked up at her. "Gee, thanks. I always wanted a grave made of leaves" Jace yelled up to her in a joking fashion. At that moment, a civilian passed by, whispering "pshh, love birds", which Jace unfortunately heard. "Hey, we're not lovebirds, so you can keep your yap shut!!" Jace yelled in embarrasment as he stomped up and down, the civilian just chuckling as he walked off.
OOC Notes
Corie was about to reply when some stranger decked out in civilian clothing strolled by and snidely whispered something. She couldn't hear, but Jace shouted, "Hey, we're not lovebirds, so keep your yap shut!"
Corie felt torn between amusement and annoyance. This was how it always was when Jace and her were together. It was exceedingly irritating, but usually they just flicked it off and continued their joking around.
"Hey, Jace. Heads up!" Corie lightning-fast plucked a fruit from a nearby tree and hurled it at Jace's shoulder, not hard enough to cause pain but you would definitely would feel it! That is, if he didn't catch it.
"Good reflexes are important." she crowed, standing up on the branch.
Corie felt torn between amusement and annoyance. This was how it always was when Jace and her were together. It was exceedingly irritating, but usually they just flicked it off and continued their joking around.
"Hey, Jace. Heads up!" Corie lightning-fast plucked a fruit from a nearby tree and hurled it at Jace's shoulder, not hard enough to cause pain but you would definitely would feel it! That is, if he didn't catch it.
"Good reflexes are important." she crowed, standing up on the branch.
OOC Notes
Jace's reflex have always been sharp, but he decided to humor her for once and let the fruit hit him. "Yeah, nice shot." Jace replied, taking a deep breath and walking back over to her. "Sorry about that outburst earlier" he didn't really like acting like that in front of her, but he couldn't take people always thinking of him and Corie as being involved in a relationship or anything serious. He sat down against the tree, sighing and burying his head in his knees.

Corie dropped down from the tree and sat next to Jace.
"Why are you apologizing? There's no reason to." She said in a dismissive tone. She continued to stare ahead silently, and couldn't think of another topic to bring up. Clasping her hands together she watched two people fighting. Practicing, most likely. Blinking, she came up with something.
"Hey, would you like to duel?" she looked at him.

Meanwhile, back in Dean's workshop, Dean's device was coming along well. He was welding some parts together, hammering things, adjusting things, ect. More importantly, he was almost finished. The device had the same shape as before, and he was almost done installing all of the components. He installed the last focusing lens, then placed the top covering on it. He welded it closed, then picked it up and looked at it. It looked perfect. He placed it back in the wagon, and set off to find his friends.
On his way to the park, Dean tripped and fell. He only got some minor cuts and bruises, so he got back up and continued on his way. After he got to the park, Dean located his friends. He ran over to them and said, "Hey guys, I reconfigured my blast gauntlet." He reached into his wagon and pulled out the gauntlet, then pulled out the target he had placed in there as well. He ran a distance away, placed the target there, then ran back.
He aimed the gauntlet and pressed a button. It began to whirr and buzz, and steam came out in short bursts. The palm began to glow and spark, just like last time. Suddenly, all the sparking and glowing gathered in one spot, and formed into a ball. Immediately afterward, a beam shot from the ball and the ball vanished. The beam raced toward the target, and upon contact, the target exploded. "Yes!" Dean said. He was so excited that he jumped for joy. "It actually works!"

Corie was distracted by Dean's apparently fixed device. The metal gauntlet.
She watched as it began to light up, and even her observant eyes had a difficult time keeping track of the stream of energy as it rocketed to the target, making it explode on contact.
As Dean cheered in excitement, she raised her eyebrows in interest. "Impressive!" she called, glancing back at Jace, but remained where she was. "Fantastic job, Dean." she smiled and clasped her hands behind her back.

Jace was rather impressed by Dean's success. "Great job Dean. What are you gonna do next?" he announced, similar to that of a newscaster. Jace always had a small comical side of him that he occasionally revealed. He looked over at Corie, who simultaneously looked at him, then he quickly looked away, his cheeks flushing with a shade of red. "So, uhm....I should probably get going soon" Jace tried to tell them, his voice coming out as a whisper due to embarrassment. For some reason, he actually found himself liking Corie.....and not as a friend would like his other friends. No, it was slowly becoming more than friends.

She leaned back on one, eyes shut tightly. "This isn't the first time something like that has happened. And every time Jace ends up leaving like that." she whispered to herself silently and sighed. Things were so complicated now .. But why?
She kept thinking, and each thought led to the final conclusion. Jace may not just be a friend anymore .. wait, what am I thinking?!
But she couldn't stop. Even long after when everyone, or so she thought, had left the park, she dropped down and searched for the training dummies that were so conveniently located around the city.
She picked one, and began to first attack with her fists, still deep in thought, and dodged as the training dummy spun in a circle, its wooden arms threatened a good bruise if not avoided properly. She rocked her weight to her left foot, and with her right she kicked at it's head. The entire dummy snapped off the thick wooden stand, leaving splinters everywhere.

What Corie didn't know was that Jace was chilling out in a nearby tree watching her decimate one training dummy after another. He never saw this side of her.....so destructive. He could easily tell something was bothering her. After a short time, he finally dropped down softly, landing feet first and slowly retracting back to a standing position. He sneakily walked up behind her, and just as she was about to punch the dummy, he whispered in her ear "Boo!". She turned and accidentally pelted him right in the face with a good punch and he flew back on to the floor.

Corie heard a voice behind her and instinctively swung around and punched whoever was behind her directly in the face.
"Oh .. Jace! I'm so sorry!" She stood awkwardly for a moment before edging toward him to help him up. "You startled me..." She trails off and wonders if he had been there that whole time .. embarrassing. "What are you doing here?" She asks, turning her head ever so slightly to glance at the mess of dummies behind her.

"Recently, a new gang has formed in the outskirts of Ferndale. They have been successful so far in fighting off the few guards in the peaceful town, but now there is little to no protection for the townsfolk. It is up to you and your friends to face the gang and take out their leader, Blackfoot. There is a high bounty on his head."
Requirements
Must have at least 1 other hero with you.
Quest Objectives
Join up with your friends to take on the mysterious gang and retrieve the head of their leader, Blackfoot.
Succees Rate
There is no success rate. You must have one of the moderators of the roleplay act as the leader of the gang and you must fight him.

[OOC] Quest Rules
Some debate has been passed around for quests. I've decided to use the game dice feature for success/fail rate in quests. In order to do a certain quest, you must be accompanied by a moderator of this roleplay. From there, you have to use the dice feature to see if you pass or fail certain aspects of the quest. For example, if you were doing the "Wolf Slayers United" quest, you'd have to roll the dice and get 8 success in order to get credit for the quest. There is no limit to attempts, so don't feel pressured. Just make sure there's a mod with you, or else no credit will be given. Moderators will be listed here and on the roleplay's main page for convenience.
