OOC Notes
Ninrian yawned loudly. She enjoyed sleeping quite late into the day. Faeries were more on the relaxed side of life. Most of them hadn't anything to do with combat, nor did they want to have anything to do with it. Ninrian...was one of the few whom embraced the rush of combat. The small creatures had the difficulty of having a body nowhere near made for combat, but she knew how to counter her lack of physical ability: With a healthy dose of magical ability! To her, nothing said "Back off" like a well placed bolt of fire.
She pushed herself out of bed, and stretched, her wings fluttering lightly. She looked around her bedroom...it was rather quaint...for a Faerie. There was a crude bed made from leaves, and cushioned from softened cotton and silk. She had somewhat of a dresser, even it did a poor job at keeping her clothing organized. And then there was a body length mirror made from a broken shard of a much larger mirror. She stopped to admire her form in the glass shard...her scarlet hair was messy and fluffed from her night's rest. Indeed...pretty good furnishings for an house....inside an old woodpecker's nest, anyway.
She threw her nightgown off in a hurry, and walked into her bathroom...which was another part of the nest, which she kept a bowl of water in. She smiled as she dipped herself in the cool water, the liquid bolting her awake quickly. She sighed deeply and dunked herself under the water. The soup bowl made quite the luxurious bathing tub....
Not three or four minutes before she left the bathing room, wringing her long red hair dry as she walked towards her dresser. She quickly adorned her typical garb for an average day. A long loincloth and a leafy brassire. She modeled herself, still a tad wet in the mirror again. "Hard to look cuter than meeee!" She thought, not carring in particular whom picked up on it.
She walked over to the edge of the home, and looked out over the edge.... Like the rest of the Faeries' homes, hers was high near the top of the treetops. She looked straight down. The city below, Longbourn seemed to be quite busy below. She smirked as she took a few steps back, before taking large, leaping steps forwards, and jumping in a swan dive straight out the window. Her light body shot straight down like an arrow, dispite having almost no mass. The ground came closer...and closer still she was but a few feet from impacting one of the bridges the elves created to link their trees together, when her wings started hitting overkill, fluttering hard like those of the humming bird, effectively stopping her fall dead in it's tracks. Satisfied with her stunt, she began to flutter around the town, zipping around like most Faeries did.
The elves were constricted to ground, while the faeries were free to flutter around the city, with very few limitations...which made them prefer less croweded spots, and even unreachable placed by elven standards. But she foud elves quite agreeable. Almost moreso than her own kind. Perhaps that was just how she was. She looked around... Today was a free day. She had no students, and the store was closed for sure. Noone had needed medical attention in days. Noone faerie wise anyway. Most faeries never did get hurt...it was rare as most of them never saw battle.
After scanning her surroundings, Ninrian saw one of her good friends below: Evelyn. They had met quite some time back, perhaps a year. A long time in faerie standards... She zipped down low untill she was close enough for her friend to hear her projected thoughts. Helllooooo! How's it goin', tall, blonde and elfy? Her mind exclaimed brightly, jokingly.

OOC Notes
Evelyn had finally made it back to Longbourn, she entered in a part of town that, unlike her own, was still very active in the evening. She walked forward cradling the Silver Knight Bird in her arms. It looked up at her and chirped once and laid it's head down.
She looked down at it gently rubbing the top of its head, then turned her attention back to the area around her. She had walked onto one of the suspended bridges that were commonly found in this part of Longbourn when she heard the familiar sound of a fairy thought projection. She looked over her shoulder and smiled, "Hello there Ninrian, you got to a late start this evening I was wondering if you'd sleep all day again," she said in her calm soothing voice with a slightly joking tone.
"And actually I was out gathering herbs and found this pretty little guy hurt. He's pretty small so probably only a month or two old, three at most. Anyways, I'm here to get some things for him so I can effectively take care of him till he gets better. Plus it's an excuse to talk with ... Kalllle," she said as she walked on adding an emphasis on the name Kale. Evelyn wasn't normally to type to go completely gaga on a guy especially just for his looks but Kale had it all. Long flowing white hair crystal blue eyes, pale skin, tall with lean muscle, he could pull of wearing anything, and he was intelligent, kind and brave. She stopped her fan girl day dream and refocused, "These birds are highly intelligent though and by the looks of the wound it seems as though someone was trying to hunt the poor dear," she added as she walked into a shop making sure Ninrian was safely out of the way of the door before it closed.
She looked around and got a few things for bird care and a small like basket looking bed with a cushion in it. She bought it a bit big knowing the bird would be growing a good bit while it was in her care. She placed the bird and items in the bed and walked across the room to the desk. "Hi Kale," she greeted him happily as she placed the things on the desk. He greeted her back with a smile that could melt any icy heart. The brought up some idle chit hat as he tallied up the cost of the things she was buy and talk about how she found the bird. She walked out of the shop again making sure Ninrian was out safely and began heading back for her home.
"So what are you up to Ninrian?" she asked looking over at Ninrian as she walked on.

Ninrian covered her mouth and giggled lightly. "Sleep the day away? Noooo. Where would you get a crazy idea like that. It's not like I do that-.... Oh. Wait. I do. Nevermind!" She projected keeping pace with the slow walking elf. Apperently Evelyn had found a wounded owl, and was going to take care of it. Or take it to someone whom could take care of it. "Kale? Oh pft, I thought you were actually doing something! Not dreaming over blue-eyed-blondie number one-hundred and four. Sheesh. You act like he's the only elf with white hair and blue eyes. I promise there are...gosh, at least a handful." She rolled her eyes.
"Owls are smart. Smart enough not to try and eat faeries. It's not suprising though that people want to hunt them. Especially tribal races; trolls, some orcs, maybe goblins or kabolds if there were any around here." Ninrian would project, before her and Evelyn would go into the store of the elven man she fancied. Inside the store, she kept to herself, floating in mid-air and observing. She wasn't new to the way Evelyn oggled the boy, but it was never like this. She must've had a lonely night last night.
Finally, after what seemed like hours to Ninrian, they left Kale's store, and began walking. Evelyn then asked what she had been doing lately. "Me? Oh, nothing is about the extent of it, Evvy." She projected, calling her friend by her Ninrian-appointed nickname. " We don't really have much to do, we faeries. Since we're not...er, battle worthy, we rarely have any injured. And when we do, most faerie's minor healing charms can do the trick. We're pretty prone to disease and sickness.... And now that I mention it, we're free from a lot of complications that most larger humanoids have to deal with, health wise. Probably because, believe it or not, we're pretty closely related to insects. But let's not go into detail... " She floated down, right beside Evelyn, and landed on her shoulder, taking a seat on her friend. She was her usual chatty set....if rapid mind projection could be concidered chatty. "But my manipulation classes have been empty. Seems that noone wants to control fire or water anymore. Shame, really."
"But I'm more interested about you, Evvy. Are you done fantasizing what you'd do with Kale if you were in a dark room alone together yet? Or is it still kind of dangling out there?" She said with a light giggle, before patting the shoulder she sat on. "What do you plan on doing later today?"

Ninrian agreed, shaking her head with near every statement with the elf. She finally spoke for herself. "Not particularly, Evvy. How about you? I'm sure you want to head to a tavern, or a nice shop, right! I wouldn't mind going shopping or something like that. But by all means, if you'd rather do something else, I'm in. Because I've got nothing better to do than sleep the day away...like you know so well." She projected. "Besides. You never know when you might run into a cute "Mr. Right". Or "Miss Right, either." She said, giggling to herself...
She sat contently on Evelyn's shoulder, looking at the encroaching night. Longbourn was a soothing place to be, especially when the moon was out.... It seemed to illuminate the dark woods, that were already softly lit by the enchanted lanterns.... A beautiful place to any eye, to be sure. However, there wasn't much to be said between the two, so she simply waited for Evelyn to speak up.

OOC Notes
Evelyn had taken Ninrian's suggestion and had started off for another district of the village of Longbourn. They had only been walking for a short while when they had made it to a tavern. "The tavern I normally go to is closed tonight and this is a new one so I thought we might check it out," she explained as they walked up to the tavern door. She pushed it open and walked in. The inside was dim light by fire lamps, there was a thin dust of some sort of sweet smelling some that smelled like a mix between a cinnamon and hickory incense. Most elven taverns had some sort of incense like this present to make it seem more alluring to the elves and fairies that normally visited. There were tables with chairs everywhere, a large bar with red padded stools at them, and shelves lined with liquors glasses and other small finger foods found at bars. In the corner a harp sat by itself and seemed to be enchanted to play itself in the absence of its minstrel.
Despite the somewhat friendly and normal allure that came with most taverns found in Longbourn this bar was a bit different when it came to its inhabitants. They seemed indifferent from common elves, hardened by the sight of battle and blood shed, small cliche's sat at tables and seemed to always be glaring over their shoulders at another table of sorts. Some were scarred others seemed like normal elves that just had a bad attitude or seen rough times. "Well if there were any doubts in my mind before there's definitely no chance to make an acquaintances here," Evelyn mumbled to Ninrian as she walked to the bar.
She ordered the usual drinks that she and Ninrian usually got and they sat there and idly chat chatted trying to avoid rubbing any of the other patrons the wrong way. Finally one man walked up to Evelyn, she was worried at first but he had a gentle enough smile and merely came to thank her. She didn't remember him or his face but apparently he was gravely ill a while back and she was the cleric who treated him. "I'm happy to see you've made a good recovery," she said smiling at him and then the man walked away.
Shortly after that though three men walked up and surrounded Evelyn and Ninrian. What seemed to be the ring leader was a tall elf that had a bit more muscle than most elves do, he had a scar going straight down from his forehead to his chin on the left of his face. He smiled smugly and sat down next to Evelyn on the side opposite of Ninrian.
"Well I'll be, you've got a lot of nerve being in my presence you little snob. You're that cleric that helped that ogre child," he said getting really close to her face. Evelyn had been ignoring him up to this point but remember clearly what event he was talking about, the prior summer some fighting had broken out, nothing on a grand scale more like a dispute between young adults of some elves and some ogres. She had been traveling through from treating someone who was too ill to some to her when a large fight broke out. In the midst of it some brutish elves had started to hurt and innocent child, normally she didn't try to stop a fight, she would just wait till it was over to start treatment, but this was an innocent child with three people harming him. She had wielded her bow and quickly shot and arrow that skimmed across the very tip of one of the elves noses. They stopped and looked at her and started to yell at her for doing that but she had simply moved passed them and started to help the child.
Flash Back Dialogue
"Hey what's the idea toots?!" one of the elves yelled. "These nasty ogres started it we're just finishing it!"
Evelyn knelled down and started to help the crying child up and glared at the elf who had spoke, "Well for starters! This isn't Longbourn and you have nothing to defend here, this is Ogre territory and you don't belong her at all let alone have the right to come here just to pick a fight! Secondly this is an innocent child who had done nothing to you and was merely walking by and you all started to gang up on him! Lastly, I don't take sides I treat the wounded if they need it, and this poor child thanks to you brutes, needs it! I'll see to it you're all thrown in jail!" she yelled.
Then one of the elves reached out and grabbed her by her hair and pulled her up by it, "How dare you! let go of me you impudent brute!" she yelled and then reached back and grabbed the elf by his head, she bent down quickly and flipped him over her, making sure to hit pressure points in his neck to make him release her. One of the other two elves charged at her and she grabbed and arrow and instead of shooting it she snapped the shaft of the arrow and used it as a dagger flicking her wrist up at the right time it went straight up the left side of the elf's face. The fight got worse and just as they were overpowering Evelyn ogres pulled them all back and stopped them. Evelyn went on to treat the child and other injured ogres and elves alike. This was one of the times that helped to build her reputation as a renown kind cleric woman.
Flash Back End
"You know you should still be in the ogre jail right now I'd suggest you leave me be before I call the guards," Evelyn said quietly as she went to life her drink. The scarred elf put his hand on her wrist and held it down even though it appeared as though his hand was merely resting on it.
"I think I'll return the gift of this pretty little scar you gave me," he said smugly looking at her. She looked down at his hand and quickly grabbed it with the other one and started to apply presser to two pressure points in his wrists.
"Sir I am a cleric there fore I don't have to be stronger than you to render you with pain and dislocate your joints so you can't use your appendages. Now I'd suggest if you don't want me to give you another pretty little scar to match that one you'll leave quietly and I won't report you to the guards," she said in a bored tone, there was a moment of tensity and some people started to notice and look at them, that was probably the straw that broke the camel's back, Evelyn released the man's wrist and he and his two followers left.
She looked down at Ninrian and smiled, "Well that was fun!" then she yelled and raised her glass, "MORE ALCOHOLLLLL!" the members of the bar cheered in agreement and Evelyn went on to buy more drinks for herself and Ninrian.

Blitz
Blitz kept quiet as Evelyn attempted to make lighthearted statements to him. He wasn't one to talk much, but when he did talk it was well thought out and very passionate, most of the time. He was, in a way, confident during the few times he spoke.
Evelyn left him in her abode to begin inventory upstairs. He heard the pad of her feet, and knew she wouldn't dare leave without her bird, so he stayed downstairs looking at all of her stuff. Blitz came across a particularly odd object he'd never seen: a magnifying glass. He took it and studied it, looking at the shelves with curiously. Unsure of what made it work, he tapped the glass and heard it ring slightly.
Just glass?. . . How curious. he thought. He gently placed the magnifying glass down and decided to join Evelyn upstairs. As he made his way up, he touched the smooth wooden railing, noticing its age. What an odd little home this Elf has. . he remarked to himself. He'd never seen such workmanship, let alone and literal tree house.
When he reached the top, Blitz cocked his head, standing in the doorway. She was an odd little Elf. She had a particularly large book out and was writing furiously on it as she moved jars and herbs and bags around. Bored, he moved into what seemed to be a laboratory, and began studying all the curious little things he found.
Something oddly mishapen and colored lay on a table. He touched it and recoiled, uncertain about what would happen. Nothing did, so he turned to Evelyn.
"What is this?" he asked curiously.

Blitz
Blitz was relieved when Evelyn regained herself and sat upright. He stayed kneeling beside her, watching her. She was still a little unsteady, but being the strong, independent woman she so clearly was, she caught herself quickly. Before he could ask, she apologized for bleeding on him, which wasn't necessarily a problem or worry to him, and got up to clean up. Blitz stood and stayed in the room, shutting the door with a final look outside in case the other imposter was still out there, or if he'd returned with friends.
Blitz sheathed his sword, wiping off the blood on his cloak. While Evelyn was cleaning up, he stood and just thought to himself. He wondered why he'd called her Evvy, but could also see a slight reason why. Beneath his hard outer shell, Blitz was just an innocent person, like a child. That's why he'd been so amused with the things he found in her home, so intrigued by the way she handled herself. He'd never seen such things before. In a way, he didn't want to lose his source of amusement. As a grown man, this was said to be caring for someone. So, he drew the conclusion that he cared for her.
But why? He was a Werewolf, an Ancient no less, and she was a Forest Elf. He mentally encouraged himself that at least it wasn't a Lycan or Shapeshifter, those disgusting beasts, but then again, it was an Elf! He cared, more than he should, about a plain Forest Elf. Why did he care for her? She was nothing to him. When she was at the Palace, she was a prisoner, when she was at her home, she was herself. What had caught him in that difference that appealed to him so much that he found himself calling her Evvy? Before he could determine, he heard the soft pad of Evelyn's footsteps.
Evelyn returned to him, holding guaze and a semi-frustrated look on her face. "Lord Blitz, I'm sorry to ask but.... could you help? I'm afraid my hands are still a bit shaky to properly wrap my wound." He took the guaze, aware of how to use it, but not sure he would wrap her wound right. He was just about to go about it when Evelyn asked the question he'd been fearing. "Wh why did you call me Evvy?" she asked. He was a little shocked she'd heard him, though not completely. He swallowed and looked around nervously.
Seeing the priorities before him, he moved to wrap her neck. As he did so, he contemplated his answer. "I don't know," he said quietly. "I guess. . . for some reason, you matter to me." He said with as much confusion in his voice as he was feeling. "I don't know why," he finished. He stepped back, having completed wrapping her neck. "Is that okay?" he asked, pointing at her neck, referring to his job of wrapping the wound.

Blitz
Blitz watched her with all the anxiety he had ever felt. He wondered what was going through Evelyn's head, how she would react to his actions. His questions were answered when he saw a deep blush on her cheeks, then watched as she smiled and wrapped her arms over his shoulder, standing on her tip toes. He met her lips with a warm, fiery passion, putting gentle hands on her waist. His hands were so large that he was practically holding her just with hands, but he was too happy to think more of it than know it was comforting.
Evelyn pulled back, just looking at him. He could see in her eyes how she truly felt and even the slight confusion as to what her next actions would be. Blitz just watched her, still nervous of being rejected again, but his eyes softened noticeably. "So..... you like me too, Blitz," Evelyn stated cheerfully. Blitz grinned a little, showing his amusement to her. He was very uncertain still, but that smile was more than most had ever seen. His brothers and Joshua might have been the only ones to see even part of a smile. He also noticed that Evelyn had dropped the more formal title of Lord. He didn't mind; he had just kissed her after all.
Blitz cocked his head just slightly when she hesitated in her words. Her fingers laced behind his neck and he loved the feeling. Such infinite warmth her touch brought him. Sure, her hands were colder than he typically was, but it felt good to him. The warmth it brought him was not necessarily just by the temperature of her hands, but by the feelings she was showing him. To have someone, much more an Elf, return his affection was beyond anything he'd ever experienced. It brought him warmth in that way.
"I've never felt this way for someone so shortly after I met them," she added looking down to the side shyly. Then she looked back at him with concern in her eyes this time, "But.... I've already put you in danger once tonight, and what about your brothers? I don't think they'd be too happy if they found out we were together... Not to mention I think Christos suspects me of something along illegal terms and when he hears about the attack tonight he won't be happy," she said quietly. Blitz was going to respond and make her stop talking to him so negatively, but he didn't have a chance. His reborn fear of rejection was quieted when she added her smile, so beautiful it was, saying, "I'm too happy to care right now, though." A small grin appeared on his face, the relief of not being rejected again soaring high within him. He knew he would have to deal with all the matters soon, but not right now. He wanted to enjoy the moment he had with her, for it could possibly be their last of such magnitude.
Evelyn pushed up to kiss him again and he leaned down to meet her. Blitz kissed her with all of his guard down, making sure she knew what a risk this was for the both of them, but also how much he was willing to defy his own rules and show his affection. His hands on her waist so desperately wanted to pull her to him, but he knew that would be a mistake. His chest wounds were still very sore and if she touched them, he would be in extreme pain. It was better if he made the effort to meet her where she was, which was still fairly close anyway.
To counter his lack of ability to allow her to be any closer to him physically, he put one hand back behind her neck gently, his thumb coming back to rest on her jaw with a softness he'd rarely exemplified. After several moments of passionate kissing, he pulled back, and stroked her jaw with his thumb.
He was just watching her, but suddenly his eyes narrowed as if he was in pain, and he stepped back. He squeezed his eyes shut and tried to breathe out the pain, but it didn't work. Finding a chair, he sat down, and placed a cautious hand over his chest gently. The fire was beginning again. Evidently, his chest didn't appreciate that medicine. He didn't want Evelyn to feel like it was her fault, but he couldn't really say that to her at the moment. She wouldn't believe him given his look of pain.
As quickly as it had started, it stopped. Blitz breathed in relief and felt the burning linger but not as strongly. He looked back at Evelyn with sorrow in his eyes. "I'm sorry," he told her. "This wasn't your fault," he tried to assure her. She was most likely feeling the opposite, but one way or the other, he would convince her to let it go and believe him.

Re: [OOC] Rebellion
ZOMG! So, this is totally horrendous of me to have totally just dropped off. Gah! I won't promise that it won't happen again because I hate breaking promises and this is a potential promise to be broken. Anyway, I hope to get things restarted shortly. We can even restart the entire RP in another thread if needed. Just let me know your thoughts, and I shall consider.
Re: [OOC] Rebellion
I would just like to inform you that I am intrigued in joining your roleplay.

Re: [OOC] Rebellion
Everyone:
Hey I wanted to come on the behalf of both MistressDarkstar and I to apologize for the absence...mine longer than hers. We truly apologize, but there are things that prohibit us from being here and posting steadily at the moment. Mistress is dealing with work, family, and band camp at the moment. I don't know how many of you are aware, but I am sick. It's not a sickness that will go away quickly. I'm in the process of discovering what it is that leaves my body weak and unable to handle simple daily activity. I'm often too tired to put in the effort to post. I don't know when I'll be able to get back to posting and neither does Mistress. We are both sincerely sorry as I''ve said and hope to be returning as soon as our circumstances allow it. Please be patient and don't put this rp too far out of your mind. It is both Mistress's wish and mine that this rp will be revived. Happy posting!
toodles! : )
