Plot
Somewhere in the dead space of an unknown galaxy a massive spaceship drifts aimlessly leaving behind a trail of wreckage. The crew of the ship is dead except for Commander Jeav Saii and 60,000 other species kept in cryopreservation. Something else is aboard, a deadly Kamitracker, and it’s after the commander. She can’t fight the Kamitracker alone; she needs a crew and begins to revitalize as many species she can using the ship’s specialized technology. The problem is Jeav Saii’s natural sleep cycle begun 3 days ago and if she doesn’t enter a hibernation state soon she can become mentally unstable and her life energy will diminish killing her in the process.
The awakened crew suffers from temporary amnesia and though they remember who they are and where they come from, they don’t know one another or where they are. Death is right around the corner if they can’t set aside their differences, accept to trust one another, protect the ship’s cargo, and eliminate the Kamitracker without destroying the ship. Of one thing they are quickly certain, if Jeav Saii dies they may never fully regain their memory, learn the truth, and find a way back home.
Setting
What is Reconnoiter 7?
Reconnoiter 7 is a massive science spaceship ark that banks the DNA of over 60,000 different humanoid species from across (known and unknown) galaxies. The ship holds the technology to clone and revive any of the species, the majority of which are extinct, and makes their preservation and protection extremely sensitive. The ship is also the home of the crew.
The Crew?
The Crew is five individual species that operate the ship and protect the precious cargo while they try to find their way back to their home worlds. They follow the directive of Commander Jeav Saii, a Void-Kamihomin who is responsible for their predicament but has promised to get them home. Together they’ve become a resistance against the malevolent Cerimen Grey Empire, the bounty hunters that track them and the dangers they encounter on their journey.
Who is the Cerimen Grey Galactic Empire?
The Cerimen Grey is the most hostile ungodly species to exist. They believe they are Gods, a celestial species created holy, and therefore superior to all others. They seek to dominate over all species. They enslave the weak. They rescind anyone who resists them. The Cerimen Grey has manipulated the DNA of all the species they’ve encounter and designed for themselves the perfect army of acolytes. They are the gods of many galaxies.
What is a Kamitracker?
The Kamitracker is the Cerimen Grey’s ultimate soldier, a genetically engineer worm-like-life-form, a gift to the society of Homino, an intelligent weapon with the sole purpose of tracking down and eliminating the last Void-Kamihomins known to exist. A Kamitracker is designed to be undetectable, the size of giant bacterium organisms, and their remains have no nitrogen. They can attach themselves to any species and take full control of its host at any time, but only reveals it-self when it locates eliminating target. Once the organism takes over its host it also kills it. Kamitrackers have magical technology and the ability to short distance teleport.
Cloning
Cloning is the only method used to bring someone back from the dead, but there are serious side effects to being cloned; temporary or permanent memory loss, possible loss of skills, and temporary loss of control of special powers.
Universal Translator
Because we are of different species we each speak a different dialect we wouldn’t understand if without some type of universal translator. For this reason each character has an implanted translator inside their skull, which helps them understand what others are saying in their native language.

Re: [OOC] Approved Characters Only: Adventure One
Race: Uzonir
Home Galaxy: Kintaka
Home Planet: Uzonia
Occupied planets in Galaxy:
Main planets:
Dinto: Desert planet, high in metal. Temperatures during the day are extremely brutal hence the need for the tunnels that are deep underground.
Uzonia: Tropical jungle planet. Similar to Earth’s tropical areas but on a global scale.
Kriaz: Ice planet, Used for burial services and holy land. Temperature at night drops radically, anything in this climate has the same affect as being exposed to liquid nitrogen.
Amunia: Storm planet with no oxygen. Large hurricane can be seen from orbit. Travels around the planet causing a massive wind storm. This planet has been used to test those ascending to rank of “Saint”. Very old planet with very ancient tests.
Sub Planets and Moons:
Din: Orbits Dinto. Industrialised moon.
Deto: Asteroid citadel.
Kopa: One of five moons orbiting Amunia. Used as a rest stop for travelers.
Sond: Icy burial moon orbiting Kriaz. Also known as the “Hero’s rest”
Cind' ex: Small planet used for civilian housing and male farming.
Oza: Large moon that orbits Uzonia. Has the largest male farm.
Xin: Space station like structure used for weapon development.
Religion, government and military:
These three subjects in the Uzonir species are tied as the same thing. A peaceful race who wish only for the survival of their kind but also have a very shadowy past.
Originally the Uzonir acted in tribes with very primitive weaponry and the occasional sacrifice to an ancient god. How ever the tribes fought constantly for territory and breeding rights. War made the technology of the race evolve at advanced speeds. It wasn’t too many generations before they had developed chemical weapons and began doing severe harm to each other. Gradually driving themselves to extinction. By this time they had developed tanks, jets and all other kinds of vehicles. Males were made to work in factories and weapon development whilst the females fought on the front line and destroyed each other.
Before the race began to go beyond the point of no return a figure known only as the all-mother appeared in documentation and began uniting the race. The religion of the all-mother began to spread rapidly and the plant ceased to fight. With a technological boom the Uzonir began to venture out to the star as pilgrims in search of a land that the All-mother had promised them.
They met many other races on the planets they encountered and learnt how to adapt to the different environments. They erected large monasteries where ever they went. Some of these buildings were known to be several miles long and roughly three miles wide. Each planet they visited they attempted to make the home race of the planet follow the religion of the All-mother. If they defied the race was stomped out and forgotten as heretics. The other races are depicted as demons and traitors in the holy texts of the Indun (holy book).
After numerous planets were converted to the All-mother's religion the race settled down and began to stretch its reach out in a peaceful manner in search of trade and knowledge. The military of the race slowly began to dissolve and the followers of the Indun began to become the defenders of the race. Gradually they took over the government and became the leaders of the entire Uzonir race.
Priestess ranks:
Sister- Lowest rank.
Holy sister- A grunt who has a talent for combat.
Cult of Deception Sister- Survived being a grunt now works as an assassin.
Cult of Deception Holy Sister- A talented killer.
Priestess- A dangerous warrior.
High Priestess- A dangerous and talented warrior.
Saint- A priestess that passed the Amunia test but has no will or talent to lead.
Holy Saint- Talented saints that passed the test on Amunia and could possibly lead the Uzonir
Ancient Holy Saint- Extremely old and extremely dangerous.
The Faith Holder- Highest rank, similar to that of a pope or a king.
The Indun:
The holy book of the Uzonir. It is considered a sin and an act against the religion if one lower than the rank of priestess sets her eyes upon the holy pages. The book contains tales of the races history and secrets that when read aloud during combat is said to enhance the abilities or all Uzonir around the reader. Containing the story of the All-Mother's life and the many conflicts including the hero’s of each war. The book is full of tactics and knowledge gathered from across the Kintaka galaxy.
Uzonir Technology:
Uzonir Tech mainly consists of plasma weaponry and electrified CQB weapons. The space ships used for travel tend to be slim and dark with large purple engines and the outside of the ship is covered in holy marks and symbols. Much of the monasteries are guarded by large plasma firing auto cannons that are linked up to scan the DNA of the intruder and to kill if they are not Uzonir. The weaponry of the Uzonir works best at defending a location or subduing a target.
Re: [OOC] Reconnoiter Seven
Tuchanka
The Krogan Home world of Tuchanka was nearly choked to death due to overpopulation and infighting. At the dawn of the Krogan nuclear age, battles to claim the small pockets of territory capable of sustaining life escalated into full scale global war. Weapons of mass destruction were unleashed, transforming Tuchanka into a radioactive wasteland. The Krogan were reduced to primitive warring clans struggling to survive a nuclear winter of their own creation, a state that continued until they were discovered by the Salarians two thousand years later. The Salarians invaded Tuchanka seeing primitive, brutish people in a weakened state. Though true the overwhelming number advantage and the uncanny ability for the Krogan to close rank and unite against a common threat proved the Salarians downfall despite a massive technological advantage. After the invasion fleet was destroyed Krogan warriors hijacked the Salarian vessels and left Tuchanaka for the first time. Using captives as forced instructors. A practice still in use. When Krogan need new technology or do not understand how to operate technology they have pillaged they kidnap those who due and force them to teach the Krogan under pain of torture and death. Once the Horde first left the homeworld the majority of Krogan left with the horde in seek of battle and riches. Tuchanka is now drastically underpopulated as a matter of fact. The only ones left on Tuchanka are the fertile females (Infertile females travel with the horde as courtesans), The children, Shamans and Clan Leaders. Clan leaders are the ones who deal with the day to day running of the individual tribes. Now The Krogan Horde travel the galaxy raiding and pillaging planet after planet like a plague.
Culture and Government
The harsh Krogan homeworld conditioned the Krogan psychology for toughness just as it did the body. Krogan have always had a tendency to be selfish, unsympathetic, and blunt. They respect strength and loyalty and tend to view treachery and betrayel to ones Krantt as a death wish. The weak and selfless do not live long. Young Krogan undergo a rite of passage that is overseen by a shaman respective to the clan the Krogan wishes to join. This rite consists of battling various wild fauna, ending with an encounter with a thresher maw. Merely surviving for five minutes is considered proof of worthiness. Killing the thresher maw increases the initiate's prestige and standing. Few outsiders have seen the rite of passage take place, even though there are no rules in Krogan tradition that state that a non-Krogan can't help with the undertaking of the rite by acting as the participants Krantt. The rite of passage and all other rites and traditions are preserved by the clan shaman. The shaman must undergo lengthy and torturous rites to assume the position, and is required to give up his name. Because of this level of commitment, the shaman is one of the most respected members of a clan. Membership of a clan allows a Krogan to own property, join the Horde and apply to serve under a Battlemaster. Krogan have powerful territorial instincts which serve them well in combat, but can create problems; when traveling on starships, for example, Krogan find sharing quarters nearly impossible.
Religion
Krogan have strong religious beliefs. One such example is the ritualistic burial grounds called the Hollows, where the skulls of their ancestors are displayed to remind them of "where we all come from, and where we all go." The Hollows are as sacred as any Krogan place can be, and violence there is forbidden. "The Void" is the Krogan version of the afterlife. The only Deity Krogan are known to pray to is Okeer, believed to be the first Krogan. Though Krogan do recognize other deities whom they call "The Old Gods".
Military Doctrine
Traditional Krogan tactics are built on attritional mass-unit warfare. Equipped with cheap, rugged gear, troop formations were powerful but inflexible. Command and control was very centralized; soldiers in the field who saw a target only needed wait for the order to charge. They focus on developing clean, brute-force economy of motion that exploits their brutal strength to incapacitate enemies with a swift single blow of overwhelming power. Battle Masters and Sergeants are not 'spit and polish,' but they do believe in being well-armed and equipped, preferably with a gun for each limb. They are callous and brutal, but methodical and disciplined. They use any means at their disposal to achieve their goals, no matter how reprehensible. Hostage-taking and genocide are acceptable means to ensure victory.
Ranking System
The Krogan Horde is broken down into unabashedly simple ranks. At the very top you have the Supreme Battle Master. The Krogan version of a king, will rule with an iron fist. Though discouraged it is not uncommon for the Supreme Battle Master to engage in combat personally, he is Krogan after all.
Councilmen are the members of the Supreme Battle Master's war council. Technically his advisers. Chosen from the Battle Masters who have proven their worth to the horde and most importantly The Supreme Battle Master.
Battle Master is the title given to the commanders of the separate ships in the Horde. Each ship has a Battle Master who is permitted to run things as he sees fit aboard his ship.
Sergeants are in charge of the individual squads of Krogan warriors. There are usually anywhere from 2 to 20 Sergeants per ship depending on the size of the vessel.
Rise of the Krogan/Rachni Wars
Roughly 2000 years ago the krogan were a primitive tribal species trapped on a world suffering through a nuclear winter of their own making. They were liberated from this state by the salarians, who "culturally uplifted" the krogan by giving them advanced technology and relocating them to a planet not cursed with lethal levels of radiation, toxins or deadly predators.
But the salarian intervention was not without an ulterior motive. At the time the galactic community was engaged in a prolonged war with the rachni, a race of intelligent and highly aggressive space-faring insects. The salarians hoped the krogan would join forces as soldiers to stand against an otherwise unstoppable foe. The plan worked to perfection: within two generations the rapidly breeding krogan had the numbers to not only drive the advancing rachni back, but the ability to endure the harsh conditions of the rachni worlds. They were able to pursue them to their home worlds, find the rachni queens, and eradicate the entire species.
Re: [OOC] Approved Characters Only: Adventure One
Yes, we'll meet some NPC but for now the only other intelligent life on the ship besides the crew are the robots. And the robots are all programed by Sati, she is the only character that can take full control of them (using her special power). For example, they can be hacked and reprogrammed for personal purposes but Sati would know and shut them down. The first adventure is all about getting to know our characters and our purpose as a team, so the focus is mostly on our characters.
I am having a difficult time communicating via PM. Sometimes the site goes down for me, I get an error, or I am told I can't reply to a message right after another. Other times a message goes through but the site tells me otherwise. Currently we are in the process of setting up sub-plots. I'd like for everyone to have individual goals and a personal history with my character. So far I've heard nothing but great ideas that will be included into the main plot. If I've not gotten to you yet its because of the issues I am having with the site. Please be patient I will get to you soon. It looks like we'll be starting by the end of this week, unless I decide otherwise, but I want to have an awesome RP and setting up takes a little effort from all of us.
For now I'd like for everyone to start thinking what galaxy and planet they come from, and write up a short but sweet history of your species (2-3 paragraphs/more would be awesome). I'm looking for species history, not character history. Tell me about your species government, their social status, their technology, about your home world, and even their wars and social conflicts. You don't need to include the Cerimen Grey Empire but if you like to that be fine by me. Keep in mind that CGE is our enemy we are not loyal to them even if we worked with them in the past. When you have something good add it to your profile under History. Thank you!

Biology
The natural biology of The Waltz, a mix between reptilian and feline, is now all but gone, and what remains is a seamless joining of the biological and the technological: an organic machine. Like all of their kind there are very few traits that set one male apart from the other, females are slightly more varied however. Sentinels' eyes, a dull blue, show no pupils and shift their states as they view different wavelengths, though this change is nearly impossible to notice. They naturally bear venom within special, hollow fangs, their saliva is a lethal cocktail, and their tongues are forked. Their upper bodies are scaled, displaying waves of black, brown and gold that run down his back, chest and upper arms. From beneath the ridged apex of his skull tumbles beaded black braids of hair, a single longer set of braids among them falls down to his lower back, bordered by and mixing with white and black striped tentacles that drape lazily over his shoulders and back. Horns sprout from his chin like a beard, angling his features in appearance. Their legs are digitigrade, with feline toes but reptilian claws to match the retractable sets on his six-fingered hands, and scales and small horns adorn the front ridge of his calves. His overall appearance is that of a muscular predator, capable of both great strength and speed.
Weaknesses
If an attack manages to break through his armor and damage the cluster of spinal columns that powers his ability to phase, Sentinel, like any member of his race, would be severely, if not critically wounded. Though not always fatal, his body would be able to eventually repair itself - although he would not be able to phase for days.
Special Powers
The Waltz, bear the ability to phase through matter. Once out of phase no energy is required to remain in this state, but after having phased in it will take a time of roughly five minutes for energy to replenish enough to phase out once more. He also possesses telepathy, though this is limited only to other members of his race.

The K'mir are a humanoid race that come from a planet full of predators, the K'mir as a species learned to survive in this harsh environment by evolving to incorporate animal traits into their own biology. The K'mir vary in appearance depending on what region of the planet they come from. Virani is a member of the forest tribes and so is cat like in appearance and behavior. The forest K'mir are feline in their appearance. They have hands and feet but instead of nails they have retractable claws on both hands and feet. They have a fine fur covering their bodies which varies in colour. Their ears are on the top of their head and pointed, their eyes are like those of a cat but their nose and mouth are humanoid. The forest tribe are known for their agility, senses and stealth as they survive by using these traits to avoid larger predators.
Weaknesses
Due to her enhanced senses that she shares with all her race Virani can be incapacitated by a sound or sight if it is loud enough or bright enough. Likewise if exposed to too many unfamiliar sights and sounds it can cause her to collapse as her brain cannot assimilate all the extra information effectively overloading her brain.
Special Powers
Enhanced Senses - Virani can hear, see and smell to a far more powerful level than other races such as humans. She is adept at using this since she has possessed the ability from being a cub.

The Mirrorphage lifespan is roughly twice that of a human's, however they take 3 times as long to fully mature. This places Tal'Uhn at a human physical age of 16. The Mirrorphages evolved from creatures that resembled birds, and have wings, however neither they nor their ancestors are capable of flight. Over millennia, the Mirrophages lost most of the feathers of their ancestors, and now resemble a tall, grey-skinned human. They have a short beak, similar to that of a falcon, and an almost neon-blue streak of feathers down their back. Rather than feathers, their wings are flaps of leather that fold down under their arms, similar to that of a bat.
Weakness
The Mirrorphages are nearly inept at facial expressions, pointing, or using visual references for things about people. They have little to no fear reaction, even in situations of extreme danger, and will often fail to remove themselves from harm's way as fast as they should. Their Mirror Illusion can be seen through by sufficiently advanced technology.
Special Power
A natural, uncontrollable Illusion, which is where the name 'Mirrorphage' comes from. Anyone who is in the presence of a Mirrorphage cannot perceive their actual location. Rather, the Mirrorphage will appear on the exact opposite side of them, as if there is a mirror angled directly at the location of the actual Mirrorphage, a projection of the creature that is referred to as a 'Mirrored.' This makes them the ultimate creatures of stealth-however, they are not able to turn this ability off. The Mirrored is all that is ever seen of them. The Mirrored cannot be touched or interacted with, and if the Mirrorphage walks into an area where the Mirrored is obstructed, the Mirrored will simply walk through the object. This leads to many misunderstandings where people believe that the Mirrorphages are actually capable of Phasing, which is not the case.

The Krogan are a species of large reptilian bipeds, Krogan eyes are wide-set allowing them 240-degree vision. Krogan can reproduce and mature at an astonishing rate. Their large shoulder humps store fluids and nutrients, enabling them to survive extended periods without food or water. Their thick hides are virtually impervious to cuts, scrapes or contusions, and they are highly resistant to environmental hazards, including toxins, radiation, and extreme heat and cold. Consequently their diets can include food and drink which would prove very dangerous to other species. The most amazing physiological feature of Krogan biology however is the multiple instances of major organs. These secondary (and where applicable, tertiary) systems are capable of serving as back-ups in the event of damage to the primary biological structures. They have, for example, two hearts, four lungs, and most notably four testicles. Krogan also have a secondary nervous system using a neuroconductive fluid, meaning they are almost impossible to paralyze. Krogan bleed a yellow or orange fluid when shot, which may be this fluid or actual blood. Krogan can actually live for well over a thousand years.
Weaknesses
Krogan are unbelievably hard headed and overly violent making them unpredictable. They are a danger not only to themselves but those around them.
Special Powers
Regenerate at will. Simply by sheer force of will Krogans can effectively trigger their body to excrete a special cocktail of endorphins within their blood to trigger rapid healing and regeneration essentially boosting their natural ability to heal rapidly. This is an ability that can not be used over and over again. Possibly once or twice a day at maximum but with normal Krogan hardiness they seldom have the need to attempt to use it more than once.

Uzonia
Biology
A metallic like species that have a humanoid appearance. The species are far more closely related to arachnids that they are apes. The metallic appearance is because of an exoskeleton the race developed as self defense on their home planet Uzonia. Underneath the hard shell is the squishy interior that holds the organs and delicate parts of the Uzonir species. An extremely peaceful race that has been known for its warrior priestesses that defend the planets in the same system as Uzonia. Much like many arachnids the female of this species is far stronger than the male and so the males are used like cattle and only for breeding and feeding services. The way you can tell if a Uzonir is a member of the priesthood is by the intricate markings that can be found on the exoskeleton of the species. All in all the species are very religious and avoid fighting where is necessary.
Weaknesses
Movement and activity slows down in cold weather and has to stay at a warm temperature otherwise risks dying. Can only eat meat and nothing else any other form of food digested can lead to severe poisoning and damage the delicate inner organs.
Special Powers
Super agility: Ability to react faster than other species and to possess greater flexibility and with higher/farther jumping capacity.

Quarians are generally short and of slender build. Quarians have an endoskeleton, lips, teeth, and two eyes with eyelids and tear ducts; they also have three thick fingers on both hands which include a thumb and an index finger, as well as three toes on each foot. Their lower legs are bowed backwards. The most important fact of quarian biology is their weak immune system, compounded by centuries of living in sterile environments.
Weakness
Quarians by necessity dress in highly sophisticated enviro-suits, if their suits are compromised there is a high chance of infection and the quarian can die within hours if not properly treated.

Homino
Biology
The species evolved from aquatic creatures, their unique appearance is reflected in their tall shape, black coated eyes, near translucent skin, and long necks. They also have unique peculiarities in their physiology: digitigrades and slender legs, and protruding ridges along the neck line and facial features. Kamihomins matured quickly, reaching full adulthood at 11 years and remaining at their adult physical prime until roughly the age of 900 when they start to show signs of their age.
Weakness
Void-Kamihomins are predisposed to regenerating their life energy through a self-induce stasis of hibernation that can last several days. This stasis is similar to the human need to sleep, except for Void-Kamihomins the period of rest is needed every 3 months.
Special Powers
Biological Manipulation – the ability to control all aspects of a living creature’s biological make-up. This includes, but is not limited to, generic alterations, physical distortion/augmentations, healing, disease, and biological functions.
History
After a devastating meteor impacted the planet Homino, Kamihomin society was pushed to the brink of extinction. The higher spheres of society believed only through the development and mastery of genetic manipulation and cloning can their species survive. The selective breeding era begun, and the impact of their harsh adaptations produced heavy marks on the new generation. Though they took great pride in their scientific breakthroughs, Kamihomins give little thought to the ethics or the consequences of their work.
When the Kamihomins first started experimenting on their genome, they produced 10 specimens, six of which did not survive incubation. However, after twenty-five years perfecting their skills, the Kamihomins realized one batch of the four cloned specimens, which they then classified as “Void”, were far too independent and unpredictable to be part of the well-ordered society they’ve become.
The class distinction between Void-Kamihomin and Valid-Kamihomin could be determined by the color of the Kamihomin’s eyes. The highest-level caste members in Kamihomin society had colorless eyes, the middle classes had opal eyes, and the lower classes had pink colored eyes. Kamihomins born with black eyes were viewed as threats to the Kamihomin well-ordered society. At first only those that did not fit the mold or showed any deviant behavior were exterminated; the Kamihomins would later terminate any Void-Kaminhomin.
Void-Kamihomins tried to escape and fled their home planet, seeking asylum in neighboring worlds. Only a handful of them escaped the genocide and now live in secret, avoiding bounty hunters and mercenaries who sought after them for the prize on their heads. Valid-Kamihomins prejudice and intolerance toward the Voids goes beyond a simple error in their scientific breakthroughs, and as long as one exists they can never be the perfect species they’ve designed themselves to be.
