OOC Notes
Sunlight peeked through light orange curtains, falling in bright streaks across Iris's face. She slowly opened her eyes, her mind a bit hazy as she snuggled in deeper into the comfy bed beneath her. She was then struck with a frightening question. Where am I? She thought, shooting up into a sitting position. Her eyes were round with a sudden fear. She gripped tightly at the covers that pooled around her. She tried digging into her memory for an answer, but came up with nothing, only a name, her name she guessed, Iris McKay, came to mind. This caused her to panic even more. She tried to dig deeper, pleading with her brain to turn up some valuable memory that she could use to figure out where she was, but again she couldn't remember anything. All she knew was that wherever she was it didn't feel right. She began hyperventilating in a desperate panic. "Iris relax." A cool, calm voice told her from nearby. Iris quickly whipped her head around to face the sound of the voice to find a woman standing tall by the door. She was dressed simply in a white shirt and long black skirt. "Who are you? Where am I?" Iris asked, climbing out of the once comfy bed. Now it just seemed strange and unfamiliar instead. "Why I'm your mother of course. And you're home." The woman smiled. The smile was creepy and sent shivers up and down Iris's spin. It was definitely not the type of reaction Iris would have expected from a woman who claimed to be her mother. "My mother? Home? That can't be true... I look nothing like you." She denied everything the woman said. This can't be true. She has to be lying. She has to. Iris thought desperately. "I am your adoptive mother, dear. Now what's wrong you look frightened to death?" The woman said concerned, but there was something about the way she said it that made her words sound fake and rehearsed. "Adopted? What... That can't be... But my real parents....? I can't remember anything." She stumbled over her words, whispering the last sentence in a terrified confusion. "Oh my! Well it must be nothing. It must simply be temporary. Your memories will return soon enough." The woman, her mother, said reassuringly. Her nonchalant tone frightened Iris even more. If you're my mother than you'd be just as freaked out as me, Iris wanted to scream at her, but the woman continued talking, unaware of this. "I adopted you when you were very young. You've lived here most of your life." The woman's voice spoke clear and calm. She hesitantly walked towards Iris. There was an excited light that sparkled in her eyes. Iris opened and closed her mouth unable to respond. That couldn't be true. She thought. People don't just forget. She was close to tears. "Come, Iris dear, let's go wake up your siblings now." The woman attempted a kind smile that only set Iris even more on edge. "We can make them pancakes." The woman added in a persuasive tone. "Siblings?" Iris questioned. It was the only thing that would come out of her mouth. The woman sighed as though she were beginning to get frustrated. "Yes. Now let's go." She answered regaining her composure. She turned and made her way to the door, only looking back when she reached it, an expecting look on her face. Iris nervously bit her thumb nail when something caught her eye. There on her wrist was a birthmark, she guessed, of a flower. She stood staring curiously at it for a second, trailing the fingers of her other hand over it. She looked up to meet the woman's expectant gaze and chills ran up her spine. Iris hugged herself tightly before going over to follow the woman out the door to see her "siblings".

"Oh," Eve said. She thought that the best way to handle this was a calm encounter, "Who are you?"

Instead of a soft bed, Blaze was on the wooden floor. His body ridged as he stood up. His eyes were wide and on full alert. Blaze Runner. His name. Where he was? No answer. Fear hadn't settled in as reality also had not settled in. He still felt sort of unreal.
He sat down looking around him. To his right was a high bed with a dark blue comforter which be assumed he fell off of. Standing up he noticed he was in a rather large room. The king sized bed was placed in the far right corner from the room if you faced from the entrance. A large dresser, a flat screen television, video game console, and an exit to a balcony. He never remembered ever living so luxurious but he didn't remember how he lived.
He checked himself. He wore baggy sweats and a overly large black shirt. He looked at a mirror and noticed his hair, red in the light. A birthmark ran down his right arm. He felt it over again and it gave him a burnig sensation. "Dammit," he cursed. He rubbed it and the pain faded.
He looked at his clothes. "Do I wear things like this?" He forgot. But instinct took over and he changed to jeans and a less loose white shirt. He found soft slippers and stared. Rejecting the idea of wearing them he walked into the balcony bare foot. He stopped short thought and couldn't quite see the area. He heard a girl's voice out in the hall his foot steps quickened. Nearing the door he flung it open and stepped into the hall. There were two girls around his age and an older lady. He gave them a sharp look, without meaning to he spoke harshly, "Where the hell am I? And who the hell are you people?" He spat the words irrtantly maybe he didn't get much sleep after falling off the bed.
Suddenly the sharp burning erupted from his right arm where the birthmark was. It felt like fire was tearif at his skin. He gripped it and then it went. It was gone.

Darkness. It enveloped him, caressed him. Where was he? He didn't know, but for whatever reason, he felt....peaceful. The darkness, the shadows, they weren't scary at all. He reached down, bending his knees. He felt something cold, slightly wet, but oddly light. Snow? Yes, snow. He could feel it now; the slight warmth upon his face, the dampness upon his feet, and his clothes swaying in the icy wind. It was cold, but...it felt nice.
But, why couldn't he see? Why the blackness, still enveloping him in it's dark grip? It was comforting, but....
He opened his eyes.
He was standing in a field of pure white snow, which stretched out farther than the eye could see. There was nothing else, besides the breeze and what little sun shone on his face. He looked down....
"UWAAAAAHH!" Tobias woke up screaming, sitting straight up in his bed. For a moment, he just sat there, panting. Then, he shook his head, his bed-head hair only getting messier. Why did he scream? As hard as he tried, he couldn't remember the dream he had...wait. He looked around for a moment. Where am I? He thought. Now that he thought about it, he couldn't really remember anything, except for a name.....Tobias Hugo. What's going on? Tobias looked around him.....
And noticed that he couldn't see out of his right eye.
?!? Hurriedly, he tore the covers off and hopped out of bed. He stumbled around the room, looking for the nearest bathroom, or at least somewhere with a mirror. He found one on the opposite wall, near the door. He looked in it, and saw something very, very strange. What the...? What's wrong with my eye?!? Eyes wide, his trembling hand lifted to touch the mirror where his right eye was reflected. In his right eye, a crescent moon and star replaced where the pupil should be, although a bit larger than any normal pupil. Not to mention that both his eyes were red, with the birthmark being black.
Okay, yeah, I'm scared. He paced around the room, trying to calm himself down. Just breathe. Maybe there's someone else here, who can tell me what's going on.... Then, as if on cue, he heard footsteps in the hallway. Tobias, completely unaware that he was wearing shorts and nothing else, slammed open the door to the hallway. As he took in the sight of two girls, a boy, and an older woman, he found that he had no idea what to say.
So, he just stood there rather awkwardly, contemplating on shutting the door.

Light start to peak into the room shining right into Leon's eyes. Leon just places his hand over his eyes to shield them from the bright light. He'd let his blurry eyes focus in, looking around the room with his back against the wall, and his right stretched out in front of him, and his left arm over his right leg. Leom didn't know where he is or what he did before. So the only logic he knew is whats my name. He searched for the thought but it didn't come to him. So he checked his wallet, there wasn't anythint in it just a name. It said leon Elyske. " is that my name?" He just took it, and got up from the ground his neck was stiff. So he thought. Leon walked over to the door grabbing the handle and opening it. It was light outside, he checked around search. Leon looked seeing a guy run into the other. So he followed him stopping. "The person just said where te hell are they." He was wondering the same thing about his life when he woke up.. Still looking around the room seeing plants colors anything to get a grasp on where his. But he just had to ask he women." Where am I, and who are you. It doesn't like i know you, if i did i would remember your face....?" Leon alittle irritated by the fact that hey had to see his name in his wallet.

Her room was dark but the quiet knock on her door signified that it was time to wake up. She hated waking up, even if she couldn't remember a lot of it. But that's ok, she mused, Mother has said that no one would remember... I hope everyone else wakes up to-day, its getting boring here being the only one awake other than Mother, even if it's only been a few days. They all look so different... She had checked in on her siblings and seen them sleeping, they looked peaceful, and no one looked alike.
Reveling in the soft warmth of her blankets for a few moments more she yawned ans stretched as she neatly rolled out of bed. It looked a lot like what a cat might do actually. Her feet padding to the closet on the far side of the room she quickly glanced in the mirror as she passed, "Ugh, I've got to remember to never look in mirrors this early in the morning!" She scolded herself out loud.
A little more awake now, Marlina (for that was all she knew of her name, Mother never said what her last name was...) scurried to her bathroom, glad for once that her siblings weren't awake yet, she didn't have to share the bathroom yet. Quickly shedding her night-clothes she jumped into the shower and cleansed herself with the hot, purifying water. Only fifteen minutes, that's what Mother said that showers should take, and because Marlina didn't know differently, that's what she adhered to. Grabbing her clothes and wrapped snugly in a towel she left the bathroom and entered her own room once more.
"What shall I wear today?" She asked herself, browsing through the hanging clothes, "I think I will go with that black shirt and those dark pants, I like how they look together." Nodding she took the clothes from their hangers and dressed. Finishing quickly Marlina stood in front of her full-length mirror and thought, Something's missing... OH! I know, I'll put this headband in my hair, that would look good. Especially if they're going to wake up to-day!
The headband was made with dried roses and beads that looked like pearls, it even had a bit of hanging creme fabric for added decoration. Lastly was her make-up, thick liner on her upper lids, some bronze eyeshadow lightly dusted, and thick mascara. Finished and satisfied with her appearance she left the room and headed towards the kitchen. Mother was going to teach her how to make pancakes to-day, eggs and bacon too!

Eve looked at them all in confusion. She didn't know any of them. The girl looked dazed and confused. One boy was angry and the other who was standing in nothing but shorts looked embarrased. She was a bit shocked as her purple hair got a streak of orange (confusion) in it. Still, she seemed to be the most relaxed and calm out of all of them. For some reason she had great control over her emotions. "So...none of us know where we are?" it was more of a statement than a question. "Well, first, let's all calm down. Worrying will do nothing but kill us faster," her orange streak disappeared. "My name is Eve Mystique. I don't know anything else. Now, who are the rest of you? are there anymore people still sleeping? and does anyone know what's going on?" she asked extremely calmly. flipped her hair behind her sholder and noticed a strange birthmark. It was shaped like a star and right on her shoulder. "That's odd," she mumured.

A stream of light managed to slip its way through a pair of dark colored curtains. The stream continued down its distributive path until it reached the face of a young mans. A pair of lazily brown eyes slowly emerged from the folds on his face. Instead of hiding, like any normal person would, the boy actually sat up. He stretched out his body and let out a large yawn. Eden stared at the space in front of him, contemplating whether he should get up or not. However, that did not seem to last long. His normally demeanor changed. Eden shot up from the bed and looked around the room. ‘What in the world?’ he thought, while trying to calm himself down. Placing a hand on his head, Eden tried to think of what happened earlier. Unfortunately, nothing came in mind. In fact, he could not remember a thing.
Eden clenched his head and muttered to himself. What in the world was going on? Eden took in a deep breath and then let it come out slowly. He had to remain calm. There was no reason to get out of hand. What was he saying? There is! He couldn’t remember a thing. Eden looked down at his body and was surprised to see a pair of pants and a white shirt. For some reason, he did not feel comfortable in them. The young man walked towards a door and stared at it. Maybe opening the door would help him remember everything. Or at least have some sort of answer. With that thought in mind, Eden walked over to the door and pulled it open.

Leon still didn't know what the hell is going on here, So he asked. "What is this, i don't even know anyone here. Who are you, and what have you done to me." He was still puzzle there was nothing he could do. So he just walked into the room, and waited for the lady to answer his Question.
OOC Notes
He looked at the girl with the weird hair color. She appeared the most calm and least likely to breakdown. He ignored the other guy in shorts and looked at the girl named Eve. He then looked at another boy who had spoke. (Leon) blaze gave the woman a strong glare. "The name is Blaze. Blaze Runner. That's all I got." He decided to calm since there really was no point in getting frustrated if none of them knew where on earth they were. The girl Eve noticed a marking on her shoulder and he remembered his dragon. He looked down at it.

Iris stood hugging herself, watching as others around her age started emerging from rooms around them. They all looked just as confused as she did. She glanced over at the woman to find a cool, calm expression on her face. She had the same creepy smile on her face as before. "It seems you have all woken up, my children. You are home and I am your mother." The woman declared, but the way she had said it sounded so rehearsed and fake to Iris's innocent ears. The woman took her time to look at each of the others one by one as though checking to see their reactions. Iris decided to do the same, looking at each and everyone of the their faces. They must have been the "siblings" the woman had told her about. "Well, you all must be famished." The woman started again, smiling broadly at them all. "Come let's make breakfast." She said excitedly. Iris watched her incredulously. "You must be lying. None of this makes any sense." Iris said, shaking her head in denial. She hugged herself tighter. The woman turned to look at her darkly. "Let's go make breakfast." She repeated, starting down the hall before Iris could say anything else. She didn't look back simply assuming the others would follow. Iris trembled in fear, sucking in a shaky breath. She looked around at her "siblings" before following the woman down the hall.

"I'm Leon, nice to meet you.." Leon looks at the women onces more, as he leans onto the wall. "So what the hell is going on his" Leon would say in a Calm, and cool head. "I'm alittle irritated, at the fact that i had to find my name in a wallet. If it is my name..?
Leon Sighed, as he looks at Blaze." So your in the same boat, I am, and same for you guys aswell. Isn't this a kick in the Shin"

He looked at Leon with a slight grin. "Kick in the balls," he replied. He looked at the woman who spoke of them awaking and being her children. He gave her a look that neatly translated to: What the hell are you talking about!? But he didn't say anything. He did not trust her at all. If she was his mother, he would at least have some sense of trust and calmness around her right? Well he was on edge with her freaky smile. He would have denied the food but he couldn't escape the hunger in his stomach. He watched Eve wave them to follow and reluctantly he did. Blaze glanced at Leon and started off to follow Eve, Mother, and the other girl who hadn't introducted herself (Iris). "I hope she makes chocolate chip pancakes," he mumbled to himself. He suddenly felt a craving for it. So he liked chocolate chip pancakes? It seemed so but he couldn't remember actually enjoying them. He shook off the moment and walked faster to catch up with the girls. He stood about two steps behind them making sure not to go too close but close enough to watch the woman who led the small group of her "children". Blaze didn't know much about himself but he knew that he did not like her one bit.
OOC Notes
Eden grabbed the door open and pulled it open. However, it was not ready to be greeted by what he saw. There were other kids out in the strange hallway. Were they in the same situation as him? He slowly made his way out and closed the door around him. Luckily, no one had noticed him yet. He preferred to observe first, and find out what was going on. If he came out asking questions, then there would probably be chaos.
"It seems you have all woken up, my children. You are home and I am your mother." Eden looked at the woman who spoke. She was very beautiful. She seemed confident in what she said as well. Even though he did not understand what was going on, he felt like he could trust this woman. Eden glanced back at the other kids, who had confused looks on their faces. Maybe they were. The first young girl started following the woman down the hall. Then a few followed. Eden did the same. He remained two steps behind everyone, not wanting to bring attention to himself. The thought of food did not cross his mind for one second. That is, until the word ‘breakfast’ was mentioned. Eden felt his stomach rumble a bit, causing an auditable sound to emerge. A bright shade of pink crept up his neck until it reached his cheeks. Eden held his stomach close and looked down. What an awkward way to bring attention to yourself.
OOC Notes
Iris continued to shiver as she followed the woman, their "mother", down the hall. She was snapped out of her fear when one of the others, a girl around her age, cheerfully started talking to her. Iris couldn't help but smile when she said that they were like sisters. She somewhat envied the girl's calm attitude, but was overall grateful for it. She glanced behind her to see that her other "siblings" were following as well. This relieved Iris a bit, making her feel less alone. Iris returned her gaze in front of her to see that the woman had led them into a giant living room with a kitchen and dining table to the side. Everything was huge and wide opened. Iris gaped at the room. It was only when the woman spoke again that she remembered her manners and closed her mouth. "I'm going to make breakfast now. If anyone wishes to help feel free to join. As well as if anyone wants anything specific to eat." With that said and a happy smile on her face, she left for the kitchen leaving them to themselves. Iris glanced around meekly. "Um... I'm Iris, by the way. That's the only thong I can remember." She introduced herself politely. "What about you guys? Do any of you have a clue as to what the hell's going on?" She asked them, her confidence returning now that the woman had left.

After hearing what his 'mother' had to say, he quietly shut the door. He had just realised that he had been in nothing but shorts.....how embarrasing. He looked in the closet and found some plain-looking clothes, and put them on. As soon as he was dressed in jeans and a button-up shirt, he left the room. He had dressed quickly, just in time to see the woman walking away. He didn't really know what to think of her, so he decided to follow and see what else she had to say. He hoped that she would be able to give him some answers. He knew she had said something about breakfast, but he wasn't really very hungry...
Speaking of hunger, he heard the sound of someone's stomach rumbling. He looked over to see a boy blushing, holding his stomach as if to keep the sound in. Tobias smiled at him. "Haha, hungry much?" He said playfully. "Name's Tobias. Nice to meet you!"

"Hello Mother." Marlina entered the dining room from the kitchen, not seeing her siblings at first.
"Oh, they're awake. I am glad," Even though she didn't sound very happy. She didn't mean it though, it just took too much effort to put much inflection in her voice, that and making sure that expressions were on her face at the same time, tiring work it was. And though she was one of those people that felt emotions deeply and passionately, whatever they were, she was not a prime candidate at showing the world what she was feeling, except through her words.
"Mother," Marlina turned her attention back to her Mother, an odd pang entered her heart when Mother wasn't facing her, like she always had before. Jealousy, that I am no longer her only child and getting all her attention. I will live with it though, and perhaps it is good that I am horrible at showing what I am feeling...
"Mother, you said that you would teach me how to make pancakes to-day. With chocolate in them too." Her eyes moved over her siblings, quickly sizing them up and down, "Would that be alright with all of you. I am a pretty fast learner and good cook, I think. Mother has said so also. We could also have bacon and eggs if you all wish, I suppose. Right Mother?"
Where did this come from? Marlina wondered at herself, I know I have tried my best to please Mother before, after all she is my Mother. But suddenly now I feel as if I must compete for her affection. If they are my siblings then Mother should love us all equally, so why do I feel this way?
OOC Notes
Eden kept walking behind his ‘siblings’. Luckily for him, no one seemed to notice to rumbling sound. At least, he had thought so. "Haha, hungry much? Name's Tobias. Nice to meet you!" The other boy introduced himself. Eden wanted to jump away, but didn’t. The person was kind enough to introduce himself, so it would be rude to turn away. Instead he offered the young male a smile.
“I guess. Eden. Nice to meet you” he responded. Eden slowly let his arms return to his side. His stomach had stopped rumbling, but it was now forming a little pit inside.
The group walked into a large dining room. Eden couldn’t help but admire it. In the back of his mind, he noticed that he liked to look at stunning rooms. What a weird thought indeed. "Um... I'm Iris, by the way. That's the only thing I can remember." Eden snapped his attention from the room to this girl. She had been the one leading the group forward. When she spoke again, he could not offer her any assistance.
“That’s all I remember. Eden…I mean” he said in a soft spoken tone. ‘So, I’m not the only one then’ Eden thought as he crossed his arms. He glared down at the little girl, wondering what was going on. Sounds were heard coming from the other end of the dining room, leading into the kitchen. Eden raised his dark brown eyes to find another girl with his 'mother'. She seemed to be speaking with her about something important. Well, at the moment, food was pretty important to him. When the girl questioned the group, Eden did not answer. He quietly waited for the others to give a response. He did not want to say the wrong things.
OOC Notes
Eve was just as calm as ever. She was glad that eveyone was getting along. After the girl who seemed the least confused asked a question, she was the first to respond. She falshed her a relaxed smile and walked up to her and Mother.
"I think that sounds like a wonderful idea. I guess you're my sister to! I'm Eve, by the way," she said looking her in the eye in a way to let her know that she believed that they were equal, just like sisters, "I'd love to help, too. Whatever can get food on the table faster, right?" she laughed softly. She then turned to Iris who she wanted to include, too, "Iris, do you want help, too? I think with such a large family, we could use all the help we can get. Besides, it could be fun!" she then turned back to the girl and smiled. "C'mon," she said and took her hand and began leading her into the kitchen.
OOC Notes
Leon just looks around, and seated himself next to blaze. "Well we can't argue about food right.? I'll play along with his silly game of yours mother..?" Leon looked around the room, and just sighed. "Man I'm hungry, So how long is it going to take..? Leon just seat there waitting for the food, now looking at the window, and the birds flying around outside. Leon knew this was going to be along day, but he didn't know how long its going to be. So he just waited, and hoped that this day goes alittle better.
OOC Notes
Blaze noted the grumbling sound behind him and turned but didn't stop walking. He decided to ignore it and noticed that another boy had also joined them. How many siblings do I have? he questioned. He counted five at the moment, Eve, Leon, Eden, TObias, and the one girl who later introduced herself as Iris. They were still walking down the hall until a large dining area turned up before them. Grand and fancy, just as his room had been. He noticed one more girl enter. So that would make six other siblings besides himself. Mother had seven children. He regarded his "family" with a frown. He didn't know himself, let alone other people. He couldn't even trust his own opinion on things that he enjoyed so why would be trust other people? Again he was on edge.
And then he heard the new girl say, Mother, you said that you would teach me how to make pancakes to-day. With chocolate in them too. His eyes rounded at the words pancake and chocolate. He couldn't help feel the need to speak up. He ignored the rest of the words that came out of her mouth. He barely heard Eve's response. "Chocolate chip pancakes?" he asked the girl carefully. He could almost feel the rich flavor on his tongue yet he couldn't grasp the taste. Like it was just out of his reach and memory.
Eve was taking Iris's hand and leading her into the kitchen. Curiousity boiling in him, Blaze came up next to the girl who had addressed their mother with the most familiarity. "What's your name? Mine is Blaze. You did say chocolate, right?" He couldn't help but smile a little. Something told him this wasn't a usual for him and that the mean face was more his style but chocolate pancakes sounded like heaven to his ears. He didn't remember actually having them but hell, he was going to have them now. Blaze looked at the girl dying down his smile yet trying to look friendly. He didn't want to make enemies with the cook, if he wanted decent pancakes. He noticed he was taller than her by a couple of inches, maybe less than three.
OOC Notes
"Oh, right all the help needed, yes..." Marlina deflated a little at the other girls entered the kitchen. That was supposed to be her area, she liked to cook, and Mother taught her how to. It was like she was just remembering things instead of learning, may be that was why she was such a fast learner. But still, they are taking my space! Because her space in the kitchen seemed to be the best way to make sure she had her space in Mother's heart, make sure that she was still liked.
Another came up to her though, he was taller than her, but most were. He also seemed a bit intimidating, not that it would show though. Until her smiled, then he just looked nice.
"What's your name? Mine is Blaze. You did say chocolate, right?" Marlina gave a hint of a grin, all she could be bothered with to put on at this point, and answered in a monotone just like the previous. May be that was why Mother thought she needed so many siblings, because who could love someone that looked and acted like a doll so much? Perhaps that was why she was put up for adoption, her other parents couldn't deal with someone so un-normal like her...
"Yes, I did in fact say chocolate. I was going to put them in the pancakes. Mother was going to help me make them, and eggs and some bacon too." Only the slightest bit of sadness escaped into her voice, she wished it was yesterday again. Then her siblings wouldn't be awake, then Mother would still love her best.
Her fire of jealously had quickly been put out with her sadness at not being adequate, enough so that Mother would get more children; children that she couldn't be. Normal children, who could express emotions, who didn't look like eerie dolls, who you could look at and know if they were happy or sad or angry!
OOC Notes
Iris willingly let Eve pull her toward the kitchen. She liked the aura of calmness that flowed off of the girl. Iris listened as the girl who had talked to "mother" about pancakes (Marlina) and one of her other siblings (Blaze) talked to each other. She wiggled out of Eve's grip on her arm and turned to face them. "It's very nice to meet you both." She said politely. She them grabbed Eve's arm and dragged her to the kitchen, deciding that she needed a distraction and cooking would be a perfect one. When she got into the kitchen, she was met with Mother's eerie smile. Iris hesitated where she was, a strange fear of their mother growing in the pit of her stomach. "Oh! How wonderful! More helpers! Isn't that great Marlina?" Mother exclaimed in a sickly sweet voice. She went about pulling pots and pans and other cooking ingredients off of the shelves. I don't even remember if I can cook or whether or not I liked to. Iris thought sadly. She could have cried out of frustration, but she carefully composed herself, swallowing the lump in her throat. She pushed away all negative thoughts and concentrated on what Mother was saying as she taught them how to make chocolate pancakes.
