Alice smiled, walking down the long staircase that led to the main opening. Her long hair was tied back, and she felt extremely pleasent today. Today will be great. I just KNOW it will!. She thought as she opening the main door and skipped off torwads the garden. It was a Sunday, which ment no school. Alice... She heard a voice whisper. "Yes?" She turned around, but noone was there. "How funny...." She murmured to herself. "I could have sworn someone had called me..." Alice contenued to look around, then walked through the gates, stopping to read the front sign, like always.


No nude swimming in the pond.
No bonfires.
and NO DAYDREAMING.

Some things never change, I guess. She smiled, going into the garden. it was like a maze inside. but since she had been going to the school for two years, after refusing to marry what's-his-face, she knew it by heart. Left. Right. Left. Left....

Hatter was following Alice through the maze, his chocolate brown eyes scanning her as she walked away yet again. He quickly but quietly ran towards her.
He had been practically stalking Alice around for the past few days, even going to her school. Even having to change his appearance. It was risky but...
He NEEDED to get Alice back in Wonderland. The place was in ruins! The Red Queen came back from banishment along with her knight, Stayne, Knave of Hearts.
The Mad Hatter turned another maze corner, his hat ruffling his dark brown hair. Was he invisible or something? Alice never answered... Or was he whispering too quietly? But no...he could not talk too loud and attract attention from Wonderland. No one from Wonderland was allowed to go to the other world without permission from the Queen. And of course, he did not have that permission. If he was caught it was OFF WITH HIS HEAD!
Hatter breathed in the clear day air and, again, quietly shouted, "Alice!"

(Hi! :D It's nice to meet you, Rosieroo! ^_^ I just watched Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland 2 days ago and loved it :D I was a LITTLE disappointed, but it was still really amazing ^__^)

(totally nice to meet you! I LOVED the movie, so my friends are dragging me to see it again. I totally couldn't resist making this...XD)

Again, Alice heard someone call her name, but just as she began to turn around, she suddenly found herself on her back on the ground, with two twin asian girls on top of her. "AAAAAALLLLIIICCCCEEEE!!! Tracy is trying to punch me in the faaacccceeee...." "Well I wouldn't be if you gave me back my book!! Now get off of me before I KICK you in the face!!!!!!" Alice pushed the two off, then looked around. The two girls ran in circles around her. "I don't have the booookkk!!" "Yes you do, now give it back!!" Alice grabbed the two girls by their shirt colars. "Amanda, do you have Tracys book?" Amanda shook her head. "No. Jacob does." "Alright. Tracy, leave your sister alone and go find Jacob. This isn't the first time he's stolen something to bug you, and I very well doubt it'll be his last. Now, off with you." The two girls looked at each other and ran off in search of Jacob, who's head popped out of a rose bush as soon as they disapeared. "Are they gone?" He asked. Alice laughed, and pushed him to the ground. "You little twit! You know Tracy is going to kill you for stealing her book! Are you MAD or something?!" Jacob laughed, raised his arms like a conductor, and began to sing, rather terribly. "Twinkle, twinkle little bat, how I wonder where you're at..."

At the sound of other voices, Hatter quickly ducked behind the maze wall again. No...he couldn't be seen by any other human being other than Alice...That would attract too many attention...And the Red Queen would know...
He sighed as he heard a new voice join, and Alice laughing. Dear, dear Alice...has she forgotten about him and Wonderland?
He had no other choice. He had to wait until Alice was alone.
Hatter's ears then perked up when he heard the word "mad".
...MAD?
The Mad Hatter bit his lip to keep himself from yelling and jumping out on them. His nerves nearly exploded as he held himself.
Oh please, the one called Jacob, he pleaded silently. Please leave so I can talk to Alice...And don't repeat the word "mad" or I will show YOU what the meaning of mad really is...

(Yeah the movie was amazing, and Johnny Depp played the Hatter real well!! ^_^ by the way, have you ever watched syfy Alice? It's like a different version of Alice in Wonderland and it's really great too :D)

"You are completely INSANE, you twit!" Alice laughed, pulling Jacob up. "Why thank you...now.....WHY are you out here?? Or do I want to know?" "No. No you do not. Now do me a favor. Go to the entrance and make sure that old PRUNE headmistress Lizi doesn't come in." Jacob shook his head. "No way. I mean, sure, I do all sorts of stupid stuff that almost get me expelled, but I'm NOT letting YOU do something stupid." "Please?????" Alice begged. "NO." "PLEEEEAAAASSSSEEEE!!?? I'll get Moillie on you if you don't." Jacob frowned. "Now that cat really IS mad. It's a demon, I tell you, and it's out to get me." Alice grinned. "Then you'll do it?" "I dunno..." She put her hands on her hips. "Ya know...MALLORY still owes me a favor..and you DO remember what Happened to mike, don't you jacob?" "He...learned there is more then one use for a manora.." "AND?" Jacob sighed. "And that it's hard to wear glasses when you're missing an ear. Fine, fine, I'll go..but you owe me a tart when this is all over." Alice laughed loudly, pushing him away. "Fine, it's a deal, now shoo, you crazy boy. You're mad, I tell you, MAD." And with that, Jacob left. Alice shook her head, still smiling. "He's done 'stupid' things. Yeah, well, putting itching powder in that old prunes trousers was MORE then stupid. And then dumping two gallons of tea on her head...insane." She sat on one of the benches, looking at the sky. "Completely insane...."

(yeah dutchess was REALLY annoying >.> I felt like punching her. Aaaand of course, Hatter was really cute :3 but Johnny Depp is still my favorite Hatter ^_^)

Hatter took the chance. "Alice!" he shouted quietly one more time, and then he cautiously turned the corner of the maze, his eyes locking with her's.
Just looking at her, it felt like the world was a whole lot brighter. He smiled. "Alice..." he repeated, more softer this time. The Mad Hatter walked towards her, then remembering his urgent mission, clamped his hands on Alice's shoulders. "I'm afraid that we have no time to talk," he said in a rush. "We must go immediately. Wonderland awaits out rescue. I will explain on the way. Come on."

"Woah!" Alice slowly backed away. "Uno Momento, porfavor...." Who the heck is this guy!? She thought. He didn't look familier.... "No touch..WHO the heck ARE you, and HOW do you know me?!" The idea that someone she'd never met before knowing her name scared alice. As he went to grab her again, Alice grabbed his arm and flipped him. The man cried out, and Jacob ran over. "WOAH!! What the freaking cup cakes is going on here?!" (Actual jacob quote!!)

Hatter let out a small cry as he was flipped over.
Confused, he sat up. Then his brown eyes went wide as another human being came running over.
This is bad, he thought. If I attract too much attention, the Red Queen will have my head for sure!
But thank goodness he was in disguise. He wouldn't attract the attention too quickly. The Mad Hatter let out a sigh of relief, then turned back to Alice. Of course, he was in disguise! He looked completely different from the last time she saw him! That had to be the reason for her confusing actions...
Hatter cleared his throat. "Alice, may I speak to you in private?" His eyes flicked nervously to the other man, then back at Alice.

Alice crossed her arms. "Not unless you tell me why. And touch me again and I'll break your nose." She threatened. Jacob scowled lightly. "She's not going anywhere without me, thank you very much. And that's final." He crossed his arms as well. Whoever this guy was, he wasn't getting off that easy, and Alice had no plans of walking off with a complete stranger. "WHO are YOU anyway...." Alice asked, and blushed as the boy came closer. "Two steps back, please." She said in a warning tone.

Hatter sighed and backed up two steps. "Alice," he said again, trying to not snap and go mad. "We have to go at this very moment or else the Queen...."
His voice trailed off as he saw a figure in the distance, dressed in black. Hatter's brown eyes went wide as he realized it was one of the Red Queen's soldiers. The soldier stood still, then started coming toward them.
"Alice!" he whispered, urgent this time. "We must go now!"
If Alice would not come with him, he'd have to do it by force. And as for her friend...
"Come on," The Mad Hatter said, holding out his hand. "We must go now."

Alice looked at his hand, then back up at him. "I'm not going anywhere with you, and that's final." Just as she said that, a figure in black ran at the, with quit a large sword. Alice had to dug before it took her head!! "What on earth?!" Alice screamed as he came back around. The man pushed her away, and the sword barely missed his head. Why does this thing seem so....familier? Alice thought, then gasped as it started heading for Jacob. Maybe he's right, maybe I should go! "Jacob!" She called. "Get out of here now!!" "No way!" He ducked as the sword came at him. "Please!! Go find the others, and make sure they're ok!" He stared at her for a moment, and then nodded and ran out of the garden. Alice turned to the man. "Ok, ok, ok, I'll go!"

"WATCH IT!" Hatter ducked another blow from the black-figured man. He grabbed Alice's hand, softly pushed her away from harm, then turned back to the soldier. Hatter jammed his foot into the soldier's ribs.
CRACK.
The stranger fell to the floor, groaning.
Hatter tapped the stranger's head, causing the man to go limp.
Hatter sighed and got up. "I have been discovered. Come, Alice."
He took Alice's hand and began to guide her toward the doorway of Wonderland. "You are a very naughty girl, you know, Alice. You should have came with me without hesitation. It's me, your friend, The Mad Hatter. I know that you may not recognize me because of my disguise, but you could of at least recognized my voice."
He glanced back to where the man in black was lying. "That was one of the Red Queen's soldier," he continued. "I knocked out his memory, so he will forget this day. But more of them will be swarming in. Ah here we are..."
They now stood in front of a big tree. A rabbit hole was in front of it, big enough for two people to fit through easy.
"Mind your head. And hold onto me." Then the Mad Hatter let himself free-fall into the rabbit hole, still holding onto Alice's hand.
Then they were falling...
"We are on our way to Wonderland," he said with a wicked smile.

"Wonderland, red queen, what are you talking about!?"

Either the man, Hatter, didn't hear her, or didn't really care, he simply pulled her into the rabbit hole with him. Alice shrieked, and clung to him as they fell. Not this stupid dream again. And that's when she remembered.A dream...yes. it's only a dream. Once I hit the ground, I'll wake up. Alice told herself. "I'll wake up.."

Alice gasped as she hit the floor, and clutched her leg tenderly. Darn it all...that's the leg I hurt when I fell down the stairs last month. Pushing herself up, Alice peered around the room. "Curious..." She murmured. The room was small, with a table, and many doors. It looked familier to her. Someone touched her shoulder, and she wipped around, hitting Hatter in the nose. "Oh, I'm sorry!" she cried out, and then noticed something.


He didn't look like he had before...

His clothes were insane looking, and he had the strangest, most fascination eyes she'd ever seen, and his skin was almost pure white. His hair was bright orange.

"That's it!!" Alice cried, stomping her foot. "WHAT is going on!? I refuse to go any further until you explain!" Hatter came closer to her. Alice backed up. This happened a few more times, until she was stuck against a wall. "You're MAD!!"

Realizing her mistake, Alice gawked in horror.

Hatters expression had change the minute she'd muttered the word MAD, and it was not a happy one.

Hatter's face turned to a color of purple and his eyes grew dark, shadows passing over his face. "Mad?" he growled. "MAD?"
Usually, dormouse would of slapped him till he went back to normal, but no. Dormouse wasn't here. He was trapped underground, in the Red Queen's dungeon.
"MAD?" he seethed again. Not conscious of what he was doing, Hatter grabbed Alice by the neck and pinned her against the wall. "MAD?!"

Alice struggled as best she could, but it was useless. He had her pinned to the wall, and she couldn't think of a single way out!

He's insane! She thought. Mad, totally out of it!! Alice grabbed his hands, still around her throat, and tried prying and scratching them off. It didn't work, his grip just got tighter. I can't...I can't breath!! She realized. Alice felt herself growing dizzy, and she suddenly felt weightless.

What am I going to do....he's too out of it to let go, the creep.... Alice was fighting just to think straight, and keep her eyes open. Then something hit her. People always said she was stronger then she thought. Maybe....

Alice gave one hard swing, and struck the Mad Hatter sqaure in the nose.

"Ow!" The Mad Hatter hit the wall,. He stayed like for a few seconds, then his face cleared, turning back to its original pale, and he turned to Alice.
His brilliant green eyes were filled with confusion. "Alice..." he said softly. "Thank you for that but...What has happened to you? Don't you remember your Hatter?"

Alice eyed him hesitently, not sure if he was going to snap again. When she was sure he wasn't, Alice shook her head. "Remember my...what? Look. Can you please explain to me what's going on?" She was completely confused now. First he was...well, weird, then he went completely nuts, and now he's being all touchey feely and sad. He is totally..bipolar Alice decided. I'll have to watch every word I say.

(btw, you are REALLYYY good at this. XD i'm still learning)

thanks! xD I'm not a pro yet though xP I started roleplaying when I was in 4th grade and I can't seem to stop OwO I'm a roleplay addict. And you're pretty good too! One advice though: try not to control my character ^^; all the actions that the Hatter does only I can control. Controlling somebody's elses character is called god-modding. So far you only made little mistakes but it's just a heads up because most roleplayers tend to rawr and nom at people who roleplay their characters xP

Hatter sighed. He tapped his hat and placed a hand on Alice's shoulder. "You have forgotten again, I suppose. This happened to you before...but I am sure we can gain back your memory. Now..."
He glanced at one curve of the wall, where a dusty dark curtain was hiding a small door. Then he looked upwards, expecting to see soldiers falling from the sky and attacking them.
His bright green eyes slid back to Alice and he began to quickly explain. "This world is called Wonderland. Now, to make a long story short, and how much I do hate shortening out stories: You have slayed the Jabberwocky years ago, and banished the Queen and her servant Stayne from Wonderland. But now she is back and somehow got her slaves back, and is now causing distruction, as she did last time."
The Mad Hatter stopped to catch his breath, then continued, "The Red Queen is creating another Jabberwocky. I am not sure how she is doing that, but we all understand: this is dangerous. She has trapped most of my friends in her dungeon and I am now on the run. There is no place to hide. Alice..."
He looked directly into her eyes, one of his deadly stares. "We must save Wonderland!" he concluded. "We have saved it last time, we must do it again. Will you join me, Alice?"

(ok, I'll work on fixing that!! XD)

Alices eyes narrowed. This isn't possible...it's just another insane dream. She told herself, but then again.....

"I'm stuck in here with you, so I guess I don't have much of a choice. Fine, I'll help, but don't expect much. I fell down some stairs a while ago, so my right leg isn't as good as it should be." Then alice began to walk around the room. She looked down at the small table. "I remember....something." Picking up the key, and the little bottle with a tag that red "drink me" Alice turned to the Hatter. "We take this, and a bit off that cake. The drink'll make us smaller, and we can get through the door. The cake makes us bigger again....right?"

Hatter gave her a wicked smile. "Correct! See, Alice? Your memory is coming back all the same! Now hold on tight to that key." He walked over to the little circle table and snatched the cake. He stuffed it into the pocket of his coat and pulled out his own little bottle filled with the same magical substance. "Alright Alice...bottom's up."
Then, without waiting for an answer, he softly tapped his bottle against Alice's and raised it to his lips.
As he drank, he shrunk and shrunk and shrunk...
Hatter's clothes were magical though, so they shrunk with him. The room was now enormous, with the table towering over him. He slipped the now much smaller bottle into his pocket and turned to look at Alice. "So...how does it feel to be the size of an adorable, little mouse again?"

Alice blinked, staring down at the now extremely tiny Hatter. "If it's only e dream, I guess it wouldn't hurt." And with that, she opened the bottle and took a drink. Alice couched and sputtered. "Oh, it tasts horrible!!" And then she noticed the room getting bigger. wait!

It wasn't getting bigger, she was getting smaller!

it didn't even take a minute, but soon she found herself burried in her on cloths. "Okay, not cool, not cool.." Alice grumbled, crawling her wait out. When she was finally out of the pile of cloths, she crossed her arms. Thank got she was in another dress! One..she couldn't really describe. At least it was blue. "An adorible mouse?! I feel more like an ant, or a dust mite." She replied to the Hatters question. After doing this, she headed for the 'small' door. "Is this the one we go through?" She asked, rubbing her arm. On it was three little scars, that only ached when something bad was going to happen. Oh joy. This day is just rising to ALL levels of fun, isn't it Alice? She thought bitterly to herself.

"Yes, that's the door." Hatter gave it a friendly knock and then tapped the huge key Alice was holding. "You know what to do."

Alice stuck the key in the door and turned the knob, pushing the door open. Her eyes bulged as she stepped out of the strange room and into the even stranger outside. An odd creature...a small..flying rocking horse flew past as she looked around. This deffinatly IS NOT London.. Alice found herself thinking as she turned in circles to take it all in. It was both beautiful, and scary.

Hatter smiled. "Welcome back to Wonderland."
Without wasting a second, he whistled. It was just one long tune, and two dogs came bounding up. One brown and one black.
The brown one woofed, "Mad Hatter! We have to hurry!"
"Yeah, the Red Queen is going bezerk...again!" said the black one.
Hatter nodded and turned to Alice. "Well...I think since we are already so small like mice," Hatter said, pointing to himself then her. "We should take advantage of it. Now...Pick your dog and climb up. We're going on a ride."
