“Once upon a time there was a beautiful young girl who loved to explore the woods around her town. She said she wanted to grow up to be a explorer and travel the world! Unfortunately, her parents wouldn’t have anything of it.” A soft voice echoed with excitement. A young woman sat on a wooden chair. She was pushed against a desk as she wrote down a new story that popped into her head. This young girl name just so happened to be Shino Abe. Every since she was younger, Shino wanted to be a writer. She wanted to tell stories to everyone in her town and make them happy from just hearing that one story. That was her dream…until she ended up having to work as a maid here. Her parents said that it would be good for her to work with others. Shino knew they meant best, but she didn’t like the idea of working with people she didn’t know. What if they misunderstood her, or even became upset with her, because of how she acted? That bothered her greatly. Sadly, Shino had no say in this. She just sucked in her breathe and took it with a grain of salt. Now here is was in a nice sized room, being paid to work for four brothers with three other maids. It couldn’t be that bad. Hopefully…

Closing her little black book and putting up her pen, Shino placed the book neatly on her already made bed. She then tugged at her hair and then ran her fingers through it. She didn’t need to be nervous at this time. After all, she had yet to really be properly introduce to the people she was working for yet. It would be unfortunate if they thought she was a nervous wreck at first glance. Shino stood up and glanced at the window. The sun was coming up slowly, and she knew what that meant. Shino eased her way over to the little dresser that came with the room. She pulled out a long black skirt that she had grown fond of over the years. It came halfway down her calf. She pulled on a short sleeved button down white shirt and then neatly tied a black tie. Lastly, Shino pulled on her calf high socks, and then her long boots. She was ready for the day. The sun grew a bit brighter and soon her room was filled with light. She stared out of the window, admiring the bright sunny day. Her eyes then wandered over to the small insignificant flame. Shino eased herself over to the flame and stared deeply into it.

“Everything will be alright“” she said in a monotone voice. With that said, Shino brushed a strand of her black hair behind her ear as she blow out the small flame. Today was the first day she started as a maid, and she was going to attack it head on.

Anise blew a few strands of hair out of her face as her carriage made it's way down the gravel path leading to Rozeta Moarte, or Rose Death, in it's literate translation. The name seriously creeped her out in more than one way, but she had no choice. It was this, or her father going off to war again. Working as a maid wasn't far as harsh, was it? She didn't think so, but she wasn't sure who she would be working with or for, so she wasn't sure where this odd confidence came from.

Her long black locks were combed neatly, only her bangs choosing to rebel and fall in a fiesty mess, giving the girl a fiesty, rebellious look, despite her gentle, and kind nature. She had a young face, most people mistaking her for fourteen, although she was already seventeen years of age. She was skilled at cleaning, singing, dancing and drawing, but not much else. A bump in the carriage sent her flying, despite her decent height for a woman, she was more than fairly light for her stature. The girl looked out at the pretty daylight, unable to wait for the moment she steps out into the sun. The carriage stopped several yards from the gate, "This is as far as I go miss." the driver said in a thick english accent before turning the carriage around, leaving Anise dumbfounded with her luggage, walking slowly towards the creepy gate of her new residence, for the next year. She opened the gate with little trouble, closing it behind her, a gate was no different than a door, it serves no purpose if it's open all the time.

Anise knocked on the front door of Rozeta Moarte, biting her bottom lip softly as the knocker caught her eye, normally she paid no mind to them, but this one was rather intricately designed, who would spend so much time and money on a knocker? This was not your average mansion, but the chills on the back of her neck told her that, "This is going to be a long life. I always make dreadful impressions." she whispered to herself, among many other negative remarks.

Before the sun had dared peek light into any of the house's rooms, Rain had made sure all the thick black curtains were closed and the candles were lit. Soon he would no longer have to do this since it would be the maids job. Like most stories, light indeed hurt a vampire and he would make sure his brothers were safe. Ren was careless and War loved the shadows anyway. He smiled to himself knowing they would be pleased.

A knock came to the door downstairs later, during the day. In his bare feet and pants, no shirt, Rain went downstairs and opened the door, staying behind it so as not to allow the light to hit him. "Please come in. And hurry." he told the girl.

Anise nodded quickly as she heard the male voice, quickly stepping inside as he instructed, "Yessir, I'm Anise Delopar, one of the maids sent to manage this mansion.." she said after swiftly entering, and quickly bowing, without even taking a first glance at him, she tried to remember her manners, what she was taught, "It's a pleasure to meet you." she added quickly. Her tone was soft, even in her haste to explain herself.
Her black bangs fell to cover most of her face. With limbs were stiff from utter nervousness, she slowly raised from her bowed position.

She blinked at Rain, a bit suprised that he was so young, but the hint of suprise left her expression quickly. She didn't want to offend him, first impressions are everything, or so she was told, and she was to remain here for at least a year, she hoped to make mostly good ones during that time. She was already in her maid attire, a short maid outfit. Cute, but very short. By this point she was tense, and suprised she hadn't found a way to stumble over anything possible yet.

Rain closed the door and turned to smile at the girl. "It's nice to meet you Anise. I am Rain, the youngest of the brothers. The other three are around somewhere." he said before bowing and taking her hand. He placed a soft kiss on it. "No need to be so nervous." he told her. "Allow me to show you to your room." said, holding his arm out for her to take after he took her bag in his other hand.

Anise blinked at him, the darkness of the room made her feel very uneasy, but she kept her mind off the fact for the moment. She could see, even if it was barely, that was enough to comfort her. Anise felt a faint pink blush warm her cheeks as he kissed her hand, it was a simple gesture, but alas she was the type of girl to blush at the removal of a jacket. Slowly she accepted his arm, noticing he was rather cold, but he was shirtless afterall. "So we're working for you and your brothers..?" she asked curiously, "Thank goodness. But, Rain, sir. Won't you catch cold walking around like that?"

Rain chuckled at her concern. If only she knew..."Let's just say I have a strong immune system." he told her as he walked her up the stairs, lit with candles along with the halls. The took a left and went down to the seventh door on the right. "This will be your room." he said opening the door and placing her bag on the bed. "Our number one rule is that all curtain must be closed during the day. At night they must be opened but before light comes they need to be closed. You musn't forget it. My brothers and I have an extreme sensitivity to sunlight." he told her with great importance in his tone, looking at her in the eyes, making sure she took it seriously. He noted the beautiful shade of brown with slight hues of purple in her eyes as his blues stared into hers.

Konomi sighed and walked up to the large door. she smiled her best smile and Knocked on the door. she smiled and waited for someone to answer the door. '' Goodness i'm so tired.'' she said yawning quietly. Konomi had traveled all night toget to this manison, and she was beat from all the bumpy roads she got no sleep at all. she rested her mahogany eyes and chewed on her bottom lip while thinking of what the Owners could be like, maybe mean, perveted, or maybe a nice old lady. any of those Konomi knew she could handle!

"Looks like another of the maids are here. Well I guess you can...I don't know." he said with a smile before jogging downstairs and opening the door like the first time. He stood behind it not allowing the sun to touch him. "Come in and hurry please." he said.

Konomi jumped and opened her eyes before bouncing in. '' Hello I'm Konomi Kotoda!'' she smiled holding out and pale thin hand for the male to shake.she smiled tilting her head to one side while her short black pony tail falling to the same side. while she stood corrected, the owner was none of her thoughts. It was a young male no older then twenty.

Anise nodded slowly, "I see, my apologizes. I should have stayed in my own business.." she replied with a kind grin, she nearly sighed in relief when she realized there would be candles around the rooms and halls. She looked around at the room, until she saw him place the bag on the bed. So long as there was a bed, it was perfect. She watched Rain leave then blushed once again, why did he have to look at her like that? When he was staring at her, she couldn't look away from his gaze, except to blink.

She began unpacking her things, wincing as she cut her finger on a sharp part of the dresser, putting her finger in her mouth as she quickly wrapped it with a small piece of bandage from her belongings. She always seemed to be more reckless when it was dark, never being careful enough. She lit a second candle and smiled as the room was a lot brighter.

Shiro was laying in his room, still asleep. The curtains were all close, making it almost impossible for any sunlight to shine into the room. He wasnt the youngest vampire around, but sometimes he acted like one. When he heard footsteps downstairs, he pulled his blanket up, covering his face. He hadnt remembered that the maids were coming today. Actually he really excited about that either. Having humans in the house will just make it that much more difficult for him.
A small sigh escaped his mouth as he forced himself to sit up. Shiro yawned and rubbed his eyes, looking at the curtains. He made a face before rolling out of bed and looking through his closet. After a minute, Shiro pulled out a hoody, and a pair of jeans before putting them on. He opened the door to his room quietly, and peered down from the stairs. A few of the maids had already came. The vampire pulled his hood up, covering his eyes that were two different colors. Should he say hi to them? He wasnt sure.

Rain shut the door ad smiled at her. He picked up her hand and kissed it. "Hello Konomi, I am Rain. The youngest of the four brothers who live here. Sorry for the darkness but we ask you to keep our number one rule. The curtains must be kept closed during day and open at night. My brothers and I share a sort of...allergy to the sun." he told her.

she blushed as he kissed her hand. '' Kind of like a vampire huh?'' she said giggling."Sorry that was rude!'' she said rubbing her forehead and chewing on her lip. '' Though i may need a flash light or i may kill my self, I fall alot.'' she said smiling at him kindly.

"we can do that." he laughed. "Let me show you to your room." he said taking her bag and her hand, leading her up to the second room on the right. The smell of blood filled his nostrils and he tensed.

Anise sighed as she put the last of her belongings away, a picture of her mother she placed on a small night stand. She glanced at her finger, which madea small, faint red spot on the bandage. She sighed a bit, she'd have to be more careful. She opened a bottle and poured water into a bowl she had brung with her, wetting her hands and wiping her face after having set up her room. "Well, now that getting settled in is done, I have nothing really left to do until I've been given instructions.." she sighed, collapsing softly onto her new bed. The room was rather depressing to her, but if it kept her father out of the current war, she'd sell her soul to the devil a thousand times over. She'd burn in the pits of purgatory for an eternity for her father.

Upon hearing the voices near the front door, a smile formed in Ren's lips as he sensed the presence of women. Putting down the large book with the leather binding that held, in writing, all the memories and events that have happened in his 520 years of existence. Slowly opening the door to the long, dark, almost pitch black, hallway, he stepped forward and made his way down passing many doors until he heard movement and the aroma of spilled blood filled the air. His vampire senses alerted, and he quickly turned the knob, opening the door slightly. He winced at the sight of the bright light but he knew that it wasn't the sun and he could well handle it. The form of a girl could be seen in the corner of the room.

"Why hello there..." He said in a charming manner, moving inside the room towards her. He stopped once he was facing her. "Let me help you with that." Slowly he stepped forward, taking her hand in his and began unwrapping the bandaged finger. He stared at the open cut, squeezing the finger as the blood flowed out. He closed his eyes and smiled, taking in the sweet smell of blood. He opened his eyes and stared straight into hers, seeing his reflection in her brown glossy eyes. Ren held the finger up to his face before placing it inside his mouth, letting the blood drip inside.

Konomi smiled and walked up the stairs with him, hoping not to fall flat on her face. she looked at him as he stopped dead in his tracks.'' Whats wrong?'' Konomi asked quietly. Maybe he saw an intruder, or something. Konomi was getting a strange feeling in this house.

Shiro tensed at the smell of the blood. Shaking his head, he hurried down the stairs when nobody was there and walked into the kitchen. As if almost in a hurry, he poured himself a glass of water before gulping it down. That didnt help at all, but somehow, it helped him to calm down. He didnt like the humans here. It made him uncomfortable.

He turned to her and smiled. "Nothing. This is your room." he said opening the room and laying her bag on the bed. "Let me leave you to get settled in." he gave her a kiss on the hand one last time before leaving her to walk down the hall where his brother was sucking the blood out of Anise's finger. "Ren." he said in a warning tone. He was closet to Ren and though he was the youngest he liked to look out for his family, Ren being the most reckless.

Anise blinked and sat up when she noticed someone else had entered the room. He was rather young looking and aristocratic in dress. She presumed he was another one of the brothers who owned the mansion. She quickly sat up, placing her hands in her lap and bowing in her seated position, "I-I'm Anise Delopar. I'm one of the maids sent to work here, n-nice to meet you." she replied shyly, having been caught in her relaxed side of her personality, and overall with her guard down. She bend back up, her hands at her sides as she peered up at the handsome blonde, were they all young and, well, beautiful?

"It's just a cut, I was being stupid and I-" she began as she watched him unwrap the bandage, she fought the urge to wince, not a single sound coming from her despite the suprise he brought to her. How on earth was that helping the cut? She looked up at him, her eyes filled with confusion, curiousity and finally shock when she felt him slip her finger inside his mouth, "S-sir..?" she asked with a clearly visable blush on her face. She had only heard of stories like these, most of them about vampires, but they didn't exsist, did they?

Konomi bowed to rain as he left then began puttin her things away in her drawers. she sniffed her clothing, '' Bleh!'' she said wrinkling her nose and sticking out her tounge. she put her suit case under the bed and grabbed her black and white lolita maids dress.{same on as in the picture}Konomi walked out of the room and set off to find rain. once she found him she smmiled and asked,'' do you think it would be okay for me to take a quick shower?'' she had her clothes folded on her shoulder and she kept her tone quiet.

With a small sigh, Shiro slowly walked up the stairs. He noticed Rain by the door calling out Ren's name. By the sound of his tone, it seemed like Ren had once again did something reckless. He walked over, and peeked into the room wondering what happened. Blood... the smell of blood filled the air. He eyed the girl but didnt say anything. He stood by Rain before taking a small step back in order to retreat back into his room.

Ren caught Rain's image in the corner of his eye and stopped sucking, dropping the hand right away. He glanced at the girl with her cheeks slightly pink. He smiled and leaned over, his face inches away from her. He let his lips touch her cheek lightly before retracting back. "Pleased to meet you, Anise. I'm Renojo, the second oldest brother of this estate. I'm delighted to have you working here for us." He stood up and placed his hands behind his back. "I must go now, I see we have other visitors in the house." He passed by Rain, flashing a devious smile as he walked out into the hallway to wander the mansion and looking for the rest of the maids that had arrived.

"We'll talk later brother." he said. He put his attention toward Anise. "Let me bandage that for you." he said with an apologetic smile. He sat beside her and took her hand. He carefully wrapped the cut on her finger and kissed it. "Better?" he asked her. He looked up to see Konomi. "Yes, it's completely fine. The bathroom is the very last door on the left." he told her.
